Desired to provide best quality and tasty south Indian tiffins, snacks and Indo-chinese food. Concept of our restaurant is mainly focusing on take out(food court dine-in add on) we priced items according. Order though phone or through website.
I ordered egg noodles and egg fried rice, and they taste just like authentic Hyderabad street food—absolutely delicious! Though the waiting time is a bit long, it’s definitely worth it.
Amazing food..!! We ordered the pungulu, mirchi bajji, paneer fried rice, ghee kaaram idly, and kaaram dosa. Easily the best mirchi bajji we’ve had in Canada. The fried rice reminded us of the street side fried rice in Hyderabad. Highly recommend this place.
We ordered noodles and Chitti punugulu. I loved the street style chicken noodles, which reminded me of my Hyderabad fast food memories back✨. Chitti punugulu were crispy and very tasty with an amazing tomato chutney ⭐️ We also had veg Manchurian for to-go & I personally did not like it much.
We’ve placed catering order for 15 people and the food is absolutely delicious. Right from answering the calls, patiently taking the order, making suggestions & thoughtfully pricing the order. Arjun really made the total experience smooth. The starters are made to perfection & received compliments for the food from other nationalities too. I strongly recommend anyone looking to place order, you won’t be disappointed 😊
South Indian Street Bites in Scarborough is a great spot for delicious food. The noodles are amazing, and the tea is really good. I loved the Dosa, punugulu, and their peanut and tomato chutney was a perfect match. The staff is super friendly and serves fresh food with a smile. There's plenty of parking, which is convenient. I’ll definitely be going back again. If you're looking for Indian street-style noodles, this place is a must-try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
The taste of the food was very good and refreshing. The fried rice tasted similar to what I had back in India. Even the snacks ( punugulu) were almost oil free and were feeling great.
This place has the most amazing authentic street style South Indian noodles! I can't get enough of them. I actually travel 30km just to have these noodles at least twice a week. These noodles are absolutely fantastic and I just love them! ❤️
South Indian Street Bites is the go-to spot for the most authentic South Indian cuisine in town. Their Stuffed Mirchi Bajji offers a perfect blend of crisp and spice with a delicious masala filling. The Noodles provide a delightful fusion of traditional spices creating a unique flavor experience. The highlight dish is the Mutton Pulav– a fragrant, flavorful dish with tender mutton and aromatic rice. Don't miss their Idli, punugulu and Masala dosa. If you're craving genuine South Indian flavors, South Indian Street Bites is a must-visit.
Bajji mixture is not fresh, it is very cold. Looks like mixture was served directly from the fridge.
RACISTS The shiftiest customer service I ve ever experienced was here Avoid this place -Reply- Yes I was asked to wait for 4/5 minutes but not in a good way. The tone and the way that guy said was showing complete racism and also it took 20 mins not 5
Apart from the great taste of chicken noodles and chicken majestic, I felt the price and the quantity of the appetizer chicken majestic was pretty contrast, when i opened the box i felt like they gave me sample. They either need to reduce the price or increase the quantity.
We had ordered a big tray veg noodles for party. All our South Indian friends became big fan of this. Even they arranged to make order by noon. Thanks for everything
Chicken manchuria ani cheppi chilli chicken serve chesthunnaru bro meeru
Worst South Indian food ever. Except punugulu everything was bad. The food was cold, bland.
Poori with chicken: Chicken is not at all good, filled with oil and puri is of small size, not worth the price. It s not poori with chicken curry its poori with oil curry Poori(normal): The curry is worst, no salt at all
The place was smelling like piss when we entered and they took 45 minutes to serve 2 plates of noodles while the restaurant was fairly empty. Never going back again and would not recommend it. Food
We tried punugulu and noodles. Its very tasty and worthy Food
I tried noodles and fried rice. It tastes go good and reminds me of my home. And the service is great.
Tastes good.
Best Indian food in Toronto must try chinna punugulu and chicken noodles
Authentic Telugu Food Reminded us the street food from back home. We ordered Chicken Noodles, palli masala mixture and Tea. Very much satisfied with taste, portion and prices. Food : 5/5 |
Mirchi Bajji and Punugulu with Peanut & Tomato Chutney Worth Trying
Mirchi bajji and veg noodles are very tasty.
Real indian street style taste, friendly staff.
Best spot for hangover with friends for chitchats and have good South Indian foods . I tried all the foods here and it s simply cheap and best I ever had in Scarborough. Totally you should give a try for sure.
Worst taste, not that worth Punugulu was too oily and too expensive Food
This is second time I m experiencing this which Street bites. I have given a phone order and they give time period of 20 minutes even if you reach after 25 minutes the food won t be ready. They ll start preparing our order once we reach their store and need gonna take another 10 to 15 minutes.
Best street food in Toronto for telugu people. Friend suggested for snacks, but went as a group and tried tomato bajji masala mixture, chicken noodles, veg manchuria, poori chicken curry and chicken fry piece pulav. Noodles were same as Hyderabad street style.
Best pulav,I had so far in Canada....
best hyderabadi street food.
Not great experience with both the food and service. Called before reaching the restaurant, I waited half an hour for a shout back that never came, only to find out my food had been ready and left sitting. The receptionist seemed more focused on their phone. The food wasnt great either punugulu, got hard wouldnt recommend. I dont feel the other reviews are genuine either. Mediocre at best
We had a great experience with chicken noodles at this place. The chef did a tremendous job with the spice levels and the perfect taste which reminded us of the Indian street food. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for Indian taste
Great Indian street style flavours
Best.
The perfect Street side noodles I have ever had in Canada in 2 years. The taste was so yummy and spicy. Hereafter this is going to my go to restaurant for Chicken Noodles
Food is ok. Ambience is not so good. Prices are economical and parking is good too.
Okiesh !! Taste vise okay but was oliy(Sambar Vada) The server was not attentive even though there were no other customers. I would just say they can improve on little things, then everything will be good. Thanks
I ordered Punugulu, Plain dosa, Masala dosa and Veg. noodles and enjoyed the taste of every item.
The food is amazingly delicious.
Food is so good and tasty
Speechless. Tastes like home!
We had punugulu and mirchi Bajji at this place and they got it authentic crunch of punugulu to the top notch. Definitely Togo place.
Felt like home! Veg Noodles were too good. Food
Tried chitti Punugulu and chicken noodles. Punugulu peaks unai. Noodles was ok!
Reminded the street food from back home. We ordered Punugulu ,Chicken Noodles, bajji masala mixture and Tea. Food
Pakka telugu style food and taste.. must visit.. a celebration to thr palate
Punugulu and mirchi are good and reasonable Noodles are very salty and not worth it Food
Hands down the best fried rice and noodles i had in canada they tried there best to make it taste like what we get in telugu states. Punugulu was so crispy it was decent amount size for the price they charge. The mirchi bhajji was okay not great. It is a must try for there noodles and friedrice.
Punugulu, mirchi bajji, dosa, veg noodles taste is too good. Felt like back home.
I will definitely suggest this place. Especially Chitti punugulu and tomato bajji mixture peaked here.
Step into the vibrant world of the Souths indian street food scene at this restaurant, where every dish tells a story of tradition and flavor. From the crispy delights of chiti punugulu to the aromatic chicken fried noodles, each bite is a journey through the bustling streets of Asia. The chicken fry piece pulav takes center stage with its tender chicken and fragrant rice, while the masala mixtures add a playful crunch with their spicy and tangy flavors While the ambiance may lack the chaos of the streets, the food speaks volumes, offering a taste of authentic street fare in a cozy setting. Whether youre craving a quick snack or a hearty meal, this restaurant promises an unforgettable culinary experience steeped in the essence of the streets.
Ordered noodles, mirchi Bajji, chinna punugulu , egg misture and tomato mixture. Noodle were okay but mixtures are disaster . It s just combination of puffed rice and egg with some spices .. if you are from Andhra you are wasting your money on it.
Excellent South Indian street food..
Waited an hour for the food, and received cold stuff. Not sure what s the point of making the customer wait, if you re just giving cold food item.
Really very very bad!!! I will give ZERO rating! Tomato Bajji, Mirapakaya Bajji and Punugulu we had after seeing multiple Instagram and TikTok promos. Really very very bad service they took almost an hour to give tomato Bajji, Mirapakaya Bajji and punuguly, thought they were making it fresh and it ll be hot they are too cold and tasted too much oil like used canola oil which is not at all good for health. Adding to that the premises of the hotel is beside a Philippine and Vietnamese restaurants and there was very bad odour coming. I d really not recommend this place. Don t believe the promotions. Please avoid in going there.
I got chinna punugulu? They taste good but chutney is not fresh. You can say with the smell of it. They can improve, first they need to be in a better spot.
Amazing Andhra street food now in Scarborough.
Ordered last night, Punugulaki Nostalgia vachindi bhayya, Bhajjis, noodles & Fried rice aithe adbhuthamga unnai, All the best! Any more branches?
Fast service, excellent taste
The best traditional and deliciously serving Telugu Restaurant so far Ive been in Canada. A must try for all Telugu Canadians. We ordered Chitti Punugulu, Chicken Noodles, Veg noodles and Wada. Very satisfied and pleased with the taste and portion of the food and overall prices. Reminded us of the meals at home and Hyderabad street food.
Idly, Mirchi Bajji, Bajji Mixture, Noodles, Punugulu.. These are the items I have tried so far. They are striving their best to serve better. A place to eat some snacks. .
Good place to have a tasty snack time... Serving tasty South India street recipes with South Indian flavors... Not a best place to sit and eat but food tastes really good Parking: Good enough spots to park Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible special spots available near the restaurant
It isnt a fancy place or fine dining, though the food served is really awsome. This was my frist visit to this outlet and first impression has so far been the best. Good place to hange out for a quick evening snack and chai with frnds. About the service, its self served. But the person on counter does ask forr your feedback and works on it to get it better.
Ghee Karam idly, chinni punugulu, stuffed mirchi Bajji, chicken fry piece pullav. Must try. hard working boys who make delicious food. Will definitely be coming back!!!!
Vegetarian options: Good food Food
An authentic South Indian delicacy. Must visit place to treat your taste buds, Just feels like home food.
Excellent south Indian street food. The best for Andhra street noodles.
Taste food. Reasonably priced
We had bajji mixture after long years with the exact taste of from hometown, this is the best place for people longing for South Indian snacks.
Food at its best .. Literally love the food, pure authentic taste of indo-Chinese noodles and fried rice. (Exact replica of local noodles bandi ). Mirchi baji mixture and chicken noodels are must try. And amazing pulav s at 11.99$. Too good. Food
Order numbers are for a reason, if multiple people order the same item, people should be served the item accordingly, no co-ord. Waited for more than 40 minutes and still not served. Ordered onion mirchi bajji, just only the taste of onion and lemon, no taste of bajji
Simply pathetic. AVOID.
Best Indian street food loved it highly recommend this place....
We travelled from toronto downtown to try food here and had very unpleasant experience. I understand it was crowded, but you got to figure it out. Poorly managed and only way to get food was to keep standing near the counter and remind them of our order multiple times. Literally killed our excitement to try the dishes. People inside were clueless. Hope you guys manage KOT well and provide better experience to customers.
Highly dissatisfied with our visit to South Indian Street Bites. Despite heavy advertising, the management utterly failed to live up to expectations. After a lengthy journey with children, we endured a 15-minute wait in line, only to be informed that orders wouldnt be taken for the next hour and a half. Its evident that they prioritize deceiving customers over delivering satisfactory service. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment
Here it says shop is open and seems like it is closed. Many of us came and went back with a disappointment. Not a good practice to do on a weekend. At least it should be updated in google, so that people won t start driving
Ambience is not good at all.Weired smell may be due to Chinese food store besides or be of bakery beside..ordered sambar vada, chicken fried rice,uttappam..sambar and sweet chutney is bland ..vada is not hot ans not tasty.
All the items taste so good gives homely feel but prices seem bit higher
Cant rate them on their food or Service as they never served their food. We stood in line on Sunday night for 15 minutes to understand that, they cant serve the food. We came from brampton to this place because of their promotion. Honestly if you cannot serve pls stop promotions. Issues in kitchen happen but you can update google that the restaurant is closed. The ambience was worst of all I visited till now. Weird smell around.
We ordered chicken Noodles, chicken fried rice and chicken pulav. Expected the street style. It is very very ordinary, not worth the hype. I went on a weekday.I might as well make the much better tasting food in 50 mins. Not worth waiting 50 mins at all. In comparison, Noodles was better than Fried rice. Overall- would not visit again. Overhyped.
Long wait, average taste. Bajji and punjgulu were not at all hot.
We travelled from guelph to taste the food . The food is very cold . We have better restaurants that serve hot food . If you think the hotness depends on the item . As far as i know , punugulu should be served hot . But they are so cold . Taste was average . Very dissapointed . None of my friends liked it . Sorry !
I went to this place and the food was terrible, served cold and they took a really long time to prepare the order. I was so disappointed as I travelled all the way from Guelph to Scarborough to visit this place. I really felt so bad. I do know some items are to be served cold But I ordered different types and all are cold.
If you want to waste 60 minutes of your time just for one Bhaji which is in average taste you can visit this place. Over hyped, never trust insta influencers for coming to this shop. This is really waste of time and money not at all worth . Please stay away!
Despite a bit of waiting, South Indian Street Bites served up tasty treats. Their bajji mixture is a must try! Just plan ahead for wait times, and youll leave satisfied.
We have ordered chicken noodles its really very bad.. Minimum wait time is 30min.. the complex has 3 other Chinese restaurants and the get a mild foul smell. For Punukulu you can try once rest all you can ignore..
Food is very tasty.Defenitely recommend for street food lovers.I went in very busy time, more than 20 people are in the line.I got the food after 30 mins.I tried Tomato bajji mixture, chicken fried rice and Chicken fry piece pulav.
I have tasted the authentic Indian street food it tastes awesome give it a try here
Great Taste and good Service
Go to place for south Indian food. Really really good. Must try: chicken noodles, fried rice with extra egg . There is limited place, so dont rush in and blame the restaurant. Be mindful.
This is a pleasant place to spend our evening with our friends and family along with a great food in affordable prices. I felt I was in India for a minute after seeing their menu .. All proper authentic Indian food is being served in this restaurant.. especially fried bajji and noodles is next level. Management takes our concerns , our requirements and customisations as first priority.
Sambar Idly taste is very good
Nice place to have a south Indian style of food. Prices are also moderate. Good maintenance of Hygiene. I had Utappam and Mutton palav, taste was delicious. I love the chutney at this place. Must visit.
Last week I visited this place and I tried punugulu, ghee karam dosa and mirchi bajji I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. It definitely got that authentic South Indian touch, its a must visit place.
Its an amazing place for South Indian street food. I have tried a few items and I really like it, looking forward to visit again
This Andhra food is perhaps the most authentic I have encountered in Canada. The food is delicious, but the wait time is unfortunately quite long. It would be advisable to call them an hour in advance to place an order.
Amazing food! Tastes just like street food back in India. Will visit very often
Food is very delicious we tried chicken Noodles and fried rice at that place and reminded me back home
Authentic Telugu Food Reminded us the street food from back home. We ordered Punugulu ,Chicken Noodles, palli masala mixture and Tea. Very much satisfied with taste, portion and prices. Friendly staff. A must try for all Telugu Canadians.
Food is good. Taste matches 100% with Indian street food. Only very minor problem is waiting. Each order takes minimum 20 mins. Food : 5/5
Food was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Good quality and quantity. It s a must visit spot if you like street food.
Very poor taste. Not authentic Telugu taste. The Pulav and Mirchi Masala were very average. Food
Chinese items are better than the south Indian dishes. Tastes okay ! Wish they grow to improve their location and Food.
We had Sambar idly and masala Dosa at this place and it was really amazing..
Noodles are good with indian style and flavour.
An excellent place to enhance your taste buds The yummiest street food ever in scarborough. Must recommended Food
Chicken fry piece tastes good, must try and recommend for South indian food.
Had one the best veg noodles ever. The taste resembles the same as we used to get in Hyderabad, India. Would recommend to give a try.
We recently dined at this place, and it was a delightful experience. The dosas were incredibly good, the idlis were soft, poori with chicken curry amazing and the punugulu were perfectly fried. The array of chutneys and sambar added a burst of flavor to every bite. Must try their chicken noodles/fried rice and Chicken fry piece pulav. Looking for South Indian street food these is the best place in Scarborough.
Masala dosa & Chicken noodles was amazing
loved the food, and the experience. I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants great food and amazing tasting food.
The best street style food you can ever ask for! I ve been craving for perfect punugulu and this restaurant serves right on spot! Much recommended.
Food is just awesome. Everything is must try!! Those who wanna try South Indian street food this is the place. I m from Vizag. And I personally liked tomato bajji, punugulu, muri mixture. It was so damn good!!! Everything is freshly prepared and this is my second visit. Prices are very reasonable!!! Deliver time for food is also good! You won t regret visiting this place for sure. Pucca nachestadi!!
Tasty food but slow service
I had the Chicken noodles reading the good reviews about it. Nope! Didnt like it. The noodles had just no flavor at all. It just tasted like cooked chicken was mashed up into smaller pieces with the noodles. They provided ketchup on the side, which didnt help at all. All the 100% positive reviews below..hmm not sure about that.
Good variety, authentic taste, reasonable pricing Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options available Parking: 10 Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly

One of those few south Indian restaurant thats actually good. Very authentic. Vegetarian options: A lot Food : 5/5 |
Super tasty dosas!! Very authentic. One bite transformed me to hyderabad. Definitely recommend this place
Taste - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Quantity - 2/5 Overall tastes good like South Indian but less quantity
I enjoyed a homely meal, must try their poori with chicken curry and their chai was truly delightful.Small, well-maintained place offered excellent service.
Had a pretty decent experience with this restaurant.Food is very tasty and satisfying. Prices are reasonable. They are offering fresh food all the time. All the very best and Will see you again . Food
Such an authentic experience having food at this place. Various varieties of South Indian street food all at one place is really a great idea. Specially as a dosa fan I really loved the chicken kheema dosa which I have had for the first time ever. Loved the hygiene and care they put while cooking. Must try and gonna visit again and again.
Yesterday i tried chicken keema dosa & poori with chicken curry I loved it. Prices are affordable definitely recommend this place ..

It is so relieving to have a pure South Indian cuisine in the Scarborough neighbourhood after a very long wait. I would recommend their Masala Dosa to anyone who craves an authentic flavour. It brings back so many memories. Also, Chicken Noodles are amazing! The service is top level. Cant wait to be back! Keep up the good work.

Best South Indian comfort food
Tasty & yummy food with reasonable price, friendly service.
It tastes delicious , we had tasted a variety of items like dosa, fried rice , noodles and masal vada. All itmes are feel like homely and fresh.
If someone wants to experience pure authentic south indian, i can say this is the place for you guys. Apart from South Indian breakfast, they make best chicken fried rice in the town( must try).
Ghee karam idly soft and tasty. They were perfectly cooked and well seasoned, I would definitely recommend them to idli lovers, people looking for a healthy food
Food Taste is delicious..!!
Definitely not recommended. The place ambience is not good. Its a small food court next to couple Chinese fast foods. But place is very old and not renovated. Food was also not upto mark. I think they planned to serve best for low price. But I didnt like taste. I took egg bhajji, chicken friedrice and dosas. None were tasting good. Compared to other shops in Scarborough, price was way less. But same in quality as well.
My family and I came here for a post-exercise meal, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals we got. We got the Idly, poori, and chicken noodles, and were very satisfied. It s inside a mall -like plaza, with lots of seating available and it has a washroom to wash your hands. They made the noodles at the perfect spice level that was tolerable for our kids.
Best place to try punugulu with decent price , chutney taste reminds back home !
Champesaru. Tried punugulu, poori and tomato bhajji. Must try. Great pricing and sweet people.
Finally found the best Telugu authentic food place . This food deserves more stars. The moment you take a bite, you feel that you are back in hometown. Thank you guys!
Loved the mirchi bajji and punugulu. Tried multiple places but couldnt find this authentic taste anywhere else. Food
Very tasty southindian food.
Very good food! Friendly ppl. Tried ghee karam
The food here is so tasty. Literally takes you back to authentic Telugu foods. Tried tomato bajji, tea, punugulu, masala dosa, fried rice. Its a must try place especially if you are missing Telugu street food and are looking to satisfy your taste buds. PS: Kadhu ka kheer is mind blowing. *In Telugu* Asalu masala dosa ayithe chaala kamma ga undi thinadaniki. Not able to select chala punuglu in the recommended items kani. Anni must try items.
Avoid this place at all cost. Dirty place, poor hygiene and very unprofessional staff. Most likely you will get sick if you come.
Recommend place to visit, The restaurant offers homely and delicious food, showcasing excellent quality and quantity at an affordable price. I particularly enjoyed the chicken noodles, punugulu, and dosa during my visit.
Must try if you miss homemade tiffins and snacks
Amazinggggg place! The chicken noodles here reminded me of street food in hyderabad. Also, the mirchi bhajji is nice and fresh
We tried Idly, Vada, puri, mirchi bajji , punugulu ,chicken dosa all the items are good and price also for better than any other places
Recently we went to this place with our family.we tasted mirchi banjji, punugu and chicken fried rice. All are tasting very good we just remembered our days back . Especially I should mention about mirchi bajji .its too hot and taste yummy with onion and lemon stuffing inside.
We have tried chicken pulav and chicken noodles. Both are very good. Especially Noodles taste remembered street food taste back in home country. I recommend this place for South Indian snack items as well. My friends like Chinna punugulu snack Item here!
We have ordered snack items here. We loved chinna punugulu, masala vada and masala dosa as well. I recommend this place for South Indian snack items.
Loved the chicken fry piece pulav and mirchi bajji. Must recommend for street food lovers!!!
Nice Andhra food place Punugulu, Dosa, chicken noodles are really good With very reasonable price. Telugu people must try this one Food : 5/5 |
Food was terribly bad. It was served cold on the edges and hot in the middle as if they were microwaved. My cousin s family and I weren t satisfied with the food and the service coming from the kitchen. Dosas should be crispy in general but it was all soggy. Not recommended to eat at this place if you re looking for South Indian food
Tried egg noodles,it was delicious and remind me of Indian flavours.
The food was homely like.dosa was ok.not spicy for kids ..not restaurant style..the sambar was too watery .forgot to provide sides for 1 of our dosa ..dosas might be fresh, but I doubt chicken pulao....price was average..good for budget students....atmosphere wil be in minus .very dirty place...its like a food court but dirty...many tables were not even clean..no water.not at all a busy court even at 8 pm....if they could improve the taste spice level and clean d place, they might get repeat customers...as for me ..am not going back..
Its a nice hangout spot that opened recently. The food is awesome and must try Chicken Noodles, chicken kheema dosa, egg bhajji I will definitely recommend for all
