Counter-serve stop offering classic Indian fare & Hyderabadi specialties in utilitarian environs.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of trying Iranian chai, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The tea was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The traditional preparation method truly sets it apart, giving it a unique taste that you won’t find elsewhere. If you’re a tea lover or simply curious about exploring different flavors, I highly recommend giving Iranian chai a try. It’s not just a drink; it’s an experience worth savoring!
Dangerous, I found a little metal wire like a thing in chicken biryani tray. We were 3 people and a little boy thank God it was me who got it. I thought it’s a sharp bone, i took it out of mouth and there you go, it was that!
The food was good but it wasn't spicy at all. My Hyderabadi friend said they put less spices to save costs. Also it was overpriced but the dessert was amazing.
Love the tea here. It’s available until late night and there was a steady flow of customers for the chai even at midnight on Saturday. I can never miss a visit for a hot cup of tea if I’m around this place. I’ve also tried their biryani and it’s lit. Amazing flavor and authentic taste.
Hyderabad Palace, this is in a bustling area, offers a unique drive-in experience that stands out. I’ve tried the place and food here multiple times, mainly because there are various other stores within the space, but I always find myself drawn back to Hyderabad Palace for their chai. It’s the perfect spot to gather with friends and soak in the nostalgic back-home vibes. Whether you're stopping by for a quick tea or spending time with a group, this place captures a comforting and familiar atmosphere that keeps me coming back. The quality of the chai has noticeably declined compared to when we first started visiting. I hope they can maintain the high standards they initially set.
One of the Worst Mutton Biryani Experience. Spent almost $17 dollars and got a cold and bland taste of the biryani. Mutton was smelling worst. Never ever going to recommend this place. Seems like they got some fake reviews as well.
1st time went the Chicken Biryani was so good very flavorful and lot's of chicken however 2nd time going there was hardly any chicken and so much oil at the bottom it leaked all in the bag. The flavour of the masala was still great but Im hoping this place doesn't haven't a consistency issue. The irani chai is worth a try
A bit extra quantity of garam masala in the biryani which is damaging the taste, double ka meetha is hard rock solid and rice kheer is not at all like rice kheer rather non-sweet cream.
If youre on the hunt for the finest authentic Hyderabadi cuisine, look no further than Hyderabad Palace. This gem offers an incredible culinary experience, blending rich flavors and traditional recipes that will transport your taste buds straight to the heart of Hyderabad. The star of the show here is undoubtedly their Mutton Biryani. Perfectly spiced, fragrant, and cooked to absolute perfection, it s everything a true biryani lover dreams of. Their Haleem is another standout dish velvety, flavorful, and truly reminiscent of the best served during Ramadan in Hyderabad. But it doesn t stop there every dish on their menu speaks volumes about their commitment to authenticity and quality. From their mouth watering snacks to their curries, each bite feels like a celebration of Hyderabadi culture. Hyderabad Palace isn t just a restaurant; it s a culinary journey that every food lover must embark on. Highly recommended for anyone craving the true taste of Hyderabad and for the true taste of Hyderabad in Canada.
One of the best local tastes of desi foods, loved their egg, chicken and Mutton puffs. Their biryanis are also worth the treat to one out far from INDIA Hyderabad.
Their Irani Chai will take you back to the streets of hyderabad with that authentic taste. Their halee., chakna (special), veal biryani, lamb biryani, chicke. Biryani, chicken 65 are all delicious. As of 2024, they now have an expanded menu with a lot of appetizers as well. Sometimes, they carry specials for limited time. Wheelchair accessibility: No available
They have good irani chai
I came here for the first time to catch up with a friend, and we were both in love with the food! The Irani chai was amazing as well.
Good hyderabadi food .. Chai and osmania biscuit is excellent..Guy at the reception is very nice and welcoming..
Great place to have tea
The Irani tea is perfect
Fantastic Irani tea ! thats all folks! Every time i tried anything else, it turned disappointed: talk about stale snacks, pan and worse ever dabal ka metha. its a dirty filthy looking place. Food : 1/5
Best spot for the chai lovers! No dine in, only takeout..
I have had hyderabadi chai here and everytime it is as good as before. Sometimes it is a lil bit off the taste but I would say it is my go to place for irani chai anytime.
Great place of Hyderabadi chai and snacks
Biryani is average taste, costly. Party trey always finishes very early around 6pm, though restaurant remain open till 11:30 pm. They say to order on phone in advance for party trey, and the phone never works. Never recommend to anyone.
There was too much salt in briyani, and 65 was a nightmare. Need huge improvement. Again, its not authentic Hyderabadi restaurant, although owners are from Hyderabad.
Ordered tea, tastes good.
Vegetarian options: Very limited Kid-friendliness: Yes but small take out place Wheelchair accessibility: No
Superb biryani
CLOSE TO Hyderabadi taste Irani Chai and snacks are available only in this place in GTA.
Best Irani tea in Toronto
Great tea!
The chai was good but their food is average
Great for chai, but dont waste your time on anything else.
Only tried chai, which is good but could be better, chai is watery
Amazing chai spot
The portion was good, the meat was alot , the spice was nice, I had left over for lunch the next day. This is my spot from now on when I come to the Scarborough area for biryani.. Chefs
Authentic Hyderabadi biryani and chai
This review is only for TEA and it was delicious.
No taste feeling like it s spoiled no masala even I ask for it very bad.
Great chai, really good biryani and fast service with pleasant people.
Best tea I had
Customer care isn t a thing here, I tried their tea a few times they act like they don t care about their customer that much. The Irani chai isn t worth the money.
Tried their Tea, Chicken Samosa, Singara. It was okay. Quite popular compared to adjacent shops. Unfortunately theres no sitting place but there were a lot of buyers despite of that.
Over priced Chai, 4$ is too much for take out that too quantity is less than small cup at Tims, Tim Hortons will give you world class coffee with clean sitting place and wifi for less than 2$, biryani taste is also not consistent.
I love their masala chai, but the chai cups used are very thin. They are not fit for hot beverages, they need to spend the extra money on proper coffee cups. Everything else is delicious here as always.
Great place to have food, Tea was fantastic!! You can feel like you are in Hyderabad, I fully recommend this place to have Hyderabadi food..
Its a take out. Mutton Biryani, Mirch ka Salan and Haleem the best in Canada..
tea is awesome.. but nightmare on eating chicken curry , I didnt expect that from Hyderabad chef I literally throwed it and again went to different takeout for dinner.
Closed. Sign says opening soon!
Really like thier Irani chai and double ka meeta
Good tea. Could be more friendly
Charged 45 for this but no proper quality. More masala. Not worth it.
Please remove hyderabadi name from your biryani because I haven t had a worst biryani like this in entire Hyderabad, its not biryani rice its samiya I haven t thrown any biryani in trash in my life , you just broke my record If you need recipe i can give you 100 times better than this Had tea and thats good but not worth $4 (for a single tea) Will not be coming back to this place again
I pray for God to continue to bless and promote their business. I was hungry and had no money on me but fortunately, they offered me a free meal. Their staff are professional, understanding the verbal and nonverbal communication, had empathy and personal respect. Thank you so much for your selfless kindness.
Good Irani tea
Price for a irani chai regular small cup $4. Idk what it makes that expensive. Decently not worth it.
Best tea in the town.
Quality food and tasty treats please . Parking: No problem to find parking Food : 5/5 |
Regular adda for chai and haleem.
This place serves one of the best tea in the area. Peak time is in the evening. You will get variety of samosa and certain sweets too. Small area but the service is not compromised. Great location too Vegetarian options: Vegetable samosa available. Parking: Free parking area available
I used to enjoy visiting this chai restaurant, but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. They ve increased their prices to $4 for a regular size chai and $2 for a small, which seems unreasonable. Additionally, they now charge $0.25 and $0.50 for small and large extra cups respectively. To make matters worse, the guy at the counter purposely underfills the cups, yet still charges $4.75 for a so-called regular size. On top of that, they always overcharge us, so you end up paying an additional $0.23. To add insult to injury, they only accept debit or cash, which is quite inconvenient. I can t recommend this place anymore due to their unfair pricing and poor customer service. There are plenty of other places that offer better value and service. Avoid this chai restaurant if you want to save your money and enjoy a properly filled cup of chai.
Avoid this place The guy in front is incredibly rude. The biryani was awful , and I had to throw away the sweets because they tasted like they were 15-20 days old. Additionally, they only accept debit or cash. I dont recommend this place. Food
As its in the name their chai is proper Hyderabadi Chai. Their chai is on point.
I had tasted many items from their menu and was ver happy because the taste was just like how I would find in Hyderabad, India. Their quality, quantity and pricing of food also is budget friendly.
We visited all the way from Detroit where there are no authentic Hyderabadi restaurants. The lamb biriyani was good. The irani chai was good too! We tried dum ka murgh, tomato chutney, mirchiyo ka saalan and it was fantastic!!
Highly recommend this place! The food was great. Can t wait to come here again
Takes you back to Hyderabad
Average
Must try their chicken biryani. Parking: In the peak hours generally on weekends its difficult to find a parking spot. Food : 5/5 |
Amazing chai.
Nice little takeaway shop. You get all kind of Indian and Pakistani cuisine at reasonable prices. karak chai is a must if you visit.
Extremely disappointed with the increase in price of irani Chai... $4 for a cup, you guys are exploiting it... Sure shot way to lose your customers.
Always a pleasure to eat at Hyderabad Palace !
Feel Hyderabadi when you are at Hyderabad palace
I primarily go there for tea. They have increased tea price from $3 to $4. Thats a big increase! Not only that, u have to pay cash only, other wise you will pay 80 cents extra for debit/credit card. $4.8 for a cup of tea!!! Thats huge. Lots of better options with that much money. Not happy at all.
Too expensive. For chai in SMALL cups that are sold as regular it s $18.22 for four small caps :(( Service
Love their all day 24/7
Best hydi chai in scarborough so as osmania biscuits and samosas
The food was okay not as I remembered. Khubani Ka meetha was not good. I guess it was a take out place food.
Ather Mian, last night, at your front counter while you and I were talking about treating customers as friends for good customer service and a good human rapport: Your cashier charged me $ 3 .96 for two small teas. I dont think that is a good example of your philosophy, your front line staff need training in fairness of pricing and honesty to the job and customers. A business is supposed to absorb the charges on a credit card and not pass it on to the customers - and definitely not a 33% charge ( most times we pay cash). Now in comparison, I just wanted you to know that Your small 4/5 Oz cup is costing roughly about - 400% more than Tim Hortons A 20 Oz Tim Hortons tea is 2.09 - 200% more than Starbucks, A 20 Oz Starbucks tea is 4.69 They both come with a sit down experience in a clean world class environment and a brand proposition and prestige. The Hyderabad Palace( Chaikhana/Bhatiaarkhana) take out is a good Chabutra experience away from home . Its becoming a hangout point because of the little feel home and nostalgia factor for Hderabadis in Toronto. BUT this erratic pricing doesnt justify anything. It wont be long before theres more people feeling ripped off or till a competition opens up in the vicinity. My advice and feedback to you Ather Mian is enjoy the success while it lasts but also focus on long term pricing and customer experience strategy. Good luck!! Hasan Update: 2nd May 2024 : Your self indulgent reply speaks of how much out of touch you are , about peoples feedback. Please take time to read what others are saying :-) .... *Its not about returning 60¢ to one person if you are price gouging on all fronts and illegally charging 15/20% on credit cards When CRA comes or Better Business Bureau comes knocking your doors, you may have a lot of explanations to do .... *60¢ each customer= 60$ ( that should easily fund your free sheerkhorma) but thats not the point here, thats the governments job to steal from the people and then give them freebies NOT yours. And the 10 bucks certificate, you should save it for a rainy day to buy an umbrella. Good luck with the attitude and arrogance - people are going to watch this with interest or till another semi-decent place opens up. ****Take time to read all reviews from other customers - not just whats in your head and your inflated opinions about your outlet .
Chai here hits the spot every time
Great place and I like that it is open till late and still dont run out
This is one of the best places for value for money. No other restaurant comes close in terms of the quantity of food at Hyderabad Palace. Delicious Biryani and Irani Chai (Hyderabadi Irani Tea).Serves the best which needs no more explanation whether it is about taste, aroma or look.
Tea yummy
Biryani is good but not consistent with taste. Sometimes full of oil and some time good.
After I found price going up Ive started cooking zabardast biryani, haleem, Nihari, chicken 65, tea better than what they make. The only reason for me to go have outside food us just fun, otherwise is too expensive and not satisfying taste. For some reason Ive noticed the catering biryani is different than what Id ate several times there. Service is good there.
No place to dine in. Only take out. Amazing chai. You can get authentic hyderabadi snacks and sweets
Hyderabad palace is a restaurant. I used to go in here a couple of times. To be honest, service was good. The quality was not satisfying as biryani was tasty at first chicken is good with two pieces with affordable prices as well. one day, i tried chicken 65 i found that the chicken was a bit cooked before it was not fresh i had to throw away a few pieces. i liked biryani though but not the chicken one day i also got Gulab gamun i really liked it. They should improve on the areas like cleanliness, sanitation, quality, and the food should be fresh as well. Health is the first and foremost priority as well.
Amazing chicken burger . Amazing food and good staff
Good Place.
Irani Chai
Only get chai from here nothing else.
The food and tea is good at this place, but the environment is too nasty. People just throw the cups around on the sidewalk and parking lot, the owner should ask people to dump the trash properly.
Price gouging. They charge $11.99 for a small container of Chicken 65 and call it as a Medium size. Total rip off. Very disappointing.
Just a take out restaurant but yes it is Hyderabadi joint. From the time you enter the atmosphere is typically Hyderabadi. Lovely & tasteful food, great customer service and a a pleasant experience.
Irani chai
Good place to hang out with friends to have a cup of Tea Food
best authentic indian tea!!!
Will never buy again. Utterly waste, literally biriyani tasted like a plain yellow rice with no spice, salt.. nothing Worst biriyani Ive ever had in my whole life Food
Very very tasty haleem!! The best!!! Recomended place if you want to try best haleem!
fire food 10/10 Dietary restrictions: Halal Parking: Busy plaza
Chicken Biriyani is awesome Only takeaway.
I ordered mutton haleem and chicken biryani, especially during Ramzan it could have been a special delight to everyone. In fact, I got cheated by the restaurants reviews and guys, please avoid having a meal or haleem from them. It seems fake reviews and food was not at all tasty.
Food was ready to get, haleem had authentic flavour, Im not sure how long the food sits out but I didnt get sick, maybe a refrigerated display case for the snack items would make them more appetizing or any deals to get some movement on the food
No chicken in chicken biriyani!!! Worst place
Great Kadak Chai
Its very disappointing, I frequently visit this place for tea (chai) they have increased the price of tea to $4.
Haleem is delicious and Irani chai is good
So much oil in biryani
Amazing chai
Indulging in tea at Hyderabad Palace is an absolute delight! Their tea selection is unparalleled, offering a diverse way to satisfy every palate. From traditional chai to exotic blends, each cup is brewed to perfection, delivering a rich and aromatic experience. The ambiance is charming, providing a tranquil setting to savor every sip. Whether youre a tea enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxing escape, Hyderabad Palace is the ultimate destination for tea lovers.
You ll definitely get Hyderabad vibes. Irani chai is good (can t expect hyderbadi style obv). Chicken Biryani is also good. You can find all kinds of Indian snacks as well. Haleem is very good here.
Their chiken biryani was delicious and has unique taste. More for 1 person and less for 2 . Portions are satisfying and no dine is bit disappointed. Vegetarian options: Lot of desserts and snaks lik samosas puffs available here Parking: Busy place Kid-friendliness: This place is not good for kids Wheelchair accessibility: No
Biryani
Ordered Chicken 65 and Mutton Biriyani. No flavor whatsoever. Biriyani was cold and bland, chicken 65 was 80% oil and paste, with a few tiny nuggets of chicken. There are many better options in the same plaza.
Their Irani chai is amazing
Pocket friendly place providing quality and taste of India at one place
If you want to have haleem can go here, if you want to have Hyderabad haleem just take U turn and go back..! Its bland and so oily (its not ghee). Food
A store that provides snacks and the famous tea drink It is characterized by its simplicity, price and halal food
Satisfied taste buds
One of the best Indian restaurants around the Etobicoke area. The food is very authentic especially the Biryanis. Even their Indo Chinese cuisine is super. Even their masala chai is very good and unique. The only issue is parking which is why we prefer take outs. Food
Very nice irani chai. Must try item.
Amazing customer service!
haleem is heaven
Take out $15 Mutton Biryani, Smaller box, Food not hot at all, mutton pcs are mostly with bones, Much less flavour. Didnt look fresh. Disappointed. Not worth the price. Quality appears to be non consistent. Bought $11 Mutton Biryani Last Sunday at Silverspoon, fresh, hot, tender meat pcs, nice flavour quantity good for 3 people.
Best Tea in city 10/0.
Its a terrible decision to have chai from this place. The first we went there chai was good. However, when we were there for our 2nd visit the chai was not great, it was as if they made the chai and it was overcooked and had a weird texture and taste to which we complained politely however the person wasn t interested in giving us any explanation. He just said oh so many customers didn t complain. Duh! Coz we are foodie and we paid for it. We saw that he wasn t interested in saving his customers and so decided to leave all 4 cups of chai at his counter. Which definitely didn t bother him.
Very dirty place
The Chai is just too good! And good handout spot for friends! Tho there is no dine in I and my friends mostly stand outside the place and have our Chai while having our fun talks. Its always a good experience to handout with friends and the Chai makes it even better!
I love the Haleem here. I tried in 5 different stores but nothing beats haleem here. Going every week
Nice place for Hyderabadi food and Hyderabadisnacks...specially Egg puffs, Osmania biscuits, Haleem and Chai
Exceptional Irani chai, the best!
Great chai :)
Best tea in GTA.
The worst food of all times.. I went there from reviews, ordered two lamb biryanis, the biryani was soggy, filled with water . No taste no flavour, utter garbage also it gave the entire family terrible diarrhoea and stomach upset! Please save yourself a trip to the doctors if you care about the family or have kids! Also the guys working there have 0 food handling skills and ethics. No proper hygiene 0 stars!
Best Hyderabad food n T
Best Tea in the city and the briyani was delicious
Best biryani I had.
Biryani
Chai here was tasty I felt like drinking in India
Chai is really good here, the atmosphere, you will almost feel like it is India.
Best Place 4tea
Always here for the tea even till late night one of the best place to get great chai. Parking is always an issue due to the other stores around. Try avoiding from 8 to 10 pm.
Really good Biryani and irani chai.. definitely a stop for us whenever we are passing by Scarborough
Extremely curious staff
A touch of Hyderabadi taste. I like chicken & beef puff for 2.5$ each Do you know how to live after death?
The biriyani is tasty but its mostly rice. Not worth the money. I wouldnt go back again
