Sunday i waited on line for my pickup, owner of the store constantly reviling his employee in front of the costumers. with his abusive demeanor made her more confused. i dont think i ever will step in the store any more.

Delicious food, fair price and lovely staff. I shopped there for the first time and I am very impressed.

There is a rude woman who s always working the cash register(she should be working in the back and far away from customers) and no matter you buy, she always says is that it? She should be happy that there are customers who are buying anything at all. I think the owner places her there because he tells her to do this cause most men won t get upset if a woman asks that question. For this reason alone, I will never walk into this horrible place. I don t want to be judged for buying the amount of food that I need and I d not need her to tell me to buy more.

Absolutely the most authentic and delicious Kurdish/Persian cuisine Ive ever purchased. Prices are good and staff + ownership are very kind.

In my opinion, this is hands-down the best place for Koobideh kabob and Joojeh. Its a takeout place only, but the flavor, portion size, and trimmings (rice, onions, grilled tomato, sabze) are top shelf and generously provided. The team here is all heart - and you can taste it.

I ordered lam shank and chicken leg and they sent me kebab instead. You could just tell me you re out of lamb or chicken instead of sending totally different things. I m so disappointed

I went there for buying dates, she asked come here just for dates? then buy something more. When I checked date box in home, I found that one of them is 70 grams (one complete row of dates)less than 500 grams. I ve taken so many people here, and I always get the white rice waziri ($23 with tax). It s so consistent. Always so good. Can t recommend this place enough. You do have to wait about 15 minutes but it s definitely worth it.

Used to love this place but stopped going at least 3 years ago. The manager was RUDE and he gave me an old beef kebab dish (was sick the next day). The prices were way too high (about $16 for beef kebab with rice) and I cannot imagine what they are now.

I have been going to this place for the last 10 years. One thing for sure is they never dropped their quality! It s always good, always fresh. Amazing and friendly people. Love it!

Ordered online for two different dishes then I got the wrong order with a note saying they are sold out, instead of calling me and informing me they gave me a different dish without asking for my permission or whether or not I like it.... it was too expensive, and not testy at all!!!

Great food but she stole my money! I ordered a $15 meal yesterday of rice and meat, and politely asked the woman serving for a couple of spoons of tomato sauce just to wet it, and she did quietly I give her $20 and she wont give my $5 back when was time to pay, claiming its for the two pathetic spoons of sauce I asked for ..sneaky! then she offers me a toonie which I refused to take as it was insulating. I woulda thrown the food back at her but I was hungry and rushing. I hope this review was worth the $5you wanted so bad..

Terrible customer service. They just have a sense of distain when serving you. But thats not even the reason for the 1 star. Its the lack of integrity and transparency with the pricing. There are no prices listed and they literally make up prices on the spot. They charged me 10.99 /lbs for chicken and 21 for some mystery beef. When I asked him what it was he said veal tenderloin but again, there are no prices marked. Read the other comments about their shady pricing antics. STAY AWAY.

Great for takeout food and their chicken from butcher is good and fresh as well. They have ready food in hot plates (rice, stews, lamb shank, etc) and also have a grill too cook fresh kebabs for takeout. I go here all the time for a quick satisfying meal.

Worst service Ive seen in my life, the guy inside is so rude with his employees and with customers. Ordered chicken they put kofta, one of the food packaging was bad so fiod fell after removing from bag. This people is providing bad service for the money theyre taking. I call it stealing....

Nawzar is persian, take-away only. The lamb shank, meat kabob, different rices and several sides are all excellent and worth a try. However, the charcoal BBQ Chicken Kabob is fantastic. The seasoned and charcoal flavour of the chicken my #1 Choice. Try it, you wont be disapointed.

We have been going here for years, but usually my husband orders and goes in to pick up. The food is always so good and fresh. We usually get beef kabobs with roasted tomato and onion. It s made to order and best to eat it right away. But they also have other dishes which are made in advance so they just have to plate your order. There s no where to sit and eat here. It s strictly take out. This time, I ordered and picked up during lunch. I had no idea that they also have grocery items here! Many Iranian specialty items I cannot get at my grocery store can be found here. I m glad I went in.

The BEST kebabs!!!! The taste is always fresh, consistent and delicious. It is on the pricier side, but the quality is top. The rice is absolutely delectable. My family has been getting their kebab from Nawzar for years and we are never disappointed!

Hello friends, I wanted to share my bad bad experience with you. Yesterday, which was the last day of 2021, what did I do wrong? I chose Super Nozer. You know, I had bought from them once or twice and I was only satisfied with the fresh meat it had and everything it had. And it was close to us, but each and every employee there is rude.... You will regret it. Yesterday, I had no choice. I went again. Wow, my familys last day of the year was ruined. My bank card was lost in the food store and I bought them. They disrespected me, I hate them and I am complaining

I have been coming to this place for ages. The taste of food is amazing and well prepared. The best part of this food is when you eat the 2nd day it taste even yummiest. This Persian food place is a go and grab place for me. Its a small store with compact Persian collections of food like honey, tea, spices, raw meats and take away ready foods. I Tried everything in their menu- Khorma zabzi, beef/sultan/lamb shank with Green rice or saffron rice, Waziri with Cranberry rice, Ghimeh stew etc. The freshly grilled kabobs right from the oven and crispy Tahdig served with combo kebab- are worth of Trying. * Ready to eat food Price is good but service is slow in peak time. Down sides are- price display and communication. They dont write the prices or names of the ready foods& raw meat. I found the servers are more responding to the people talking in their languages. However, Raw meat prices are way too much higher compared to other halal places, You have to confirm before buying.

Rude customer service and over priced items. The girl/lady on the counter was extremely rude and treat customers very poorly. It was my first time there. Never ever visit that creepy place again.

A hidden gem for take-out if you re in the mood for Iranian cuisine. Beef kebabs and chicken tikka are hands down the best you ll find in the area! While I can t speak for the grocery and butcher shop, the selection seemed endless and fresh. Very friendly owners and staff as well. It s a pleasure to shop from here.

My experience with this shop was very bad and unfortunately the food was left and we found skin and chicken bones in the eggplant stew and unfortunately they did not pay attention after protesting and answered very rudely.

The current rating on google for this place is not accurate, it says 3.8 but I ve been coming here for years and the food is always incredible and clean. Under rated and worth every penny. I don t eat most takeout because I don t trust people to be clean and make good food so that should say enough

I have been coming to this place to get delicate and excellent kabab Kubadeh food more than decade But no more, the price of the food went to the roof yet the taste is completely gone from the Kubadeh, the most taste less kubaneh in GTA.

Waziri and cranberry rice was delicious. Soo so good. Fresh and great portions. The meat was perfectly done and seasoned. Rice was perfect. Great presentation as well!! Dont hesitate

Delicious Iranian Kabobs and cuisine.

By far one of the best kebabs in town, owner is very friendly, persian restaurant, food is freshly made, large variety, you also get amazing lamb shank, lamb tongue and many other curries, you also be lamb chops barbeque, beef and chicken barbeque all taste amazing, owner is a very nice person, their green rice is a must try. I am a regular customer here. Last time i ordered 3 lamb tongue with green rice owner gave me one tongue extra for free. Keep up the good work guys ma shaa ALLAH may Allah give you barakah ameen

The way the owner manages this place is a complete joke. The koobehdei served out of this place is mixed with all type of leftover organs that are supposed to go to waste, I wouldn t even feed the koobehdi it to my dog. If I could give 0 stars I would . Mixed plate on cranberry rice is amazing!

The Kabab price too high, I used to have it every two weeks once or more for 10+tax, but now it is 13+ tax. Whether on Lawrence there are better kababs, 10 skewers for 50 only. I will never go back to Nawzar, unless if they lower the price. Food : 4/5

asked if they had steak, they said they had t-bones and asked how many we wanted and how thick. we spent the $15 uber trip to get there to be told its veal and they dont have t-bones, which I could handle until he brought out this. I asked what he did to my meat and he said he tenderized it I didnt ask for it to be tenderized, its veal it doesnt need to be tenderized. I shouldnt be able to see through my cut of meat 2 beautiful cuts of meat wasted for no reason.

The offerings from the hot table here are really delicious - have tried it on several occasions and have not been disappointed once. The lamb shank was really good for the value and the servings of rice is generous. Highly recommended.

The entrance is narrow until you are at the the store where the butcher is. There is hot and ready for available here, lots of lentils mostly Persian food though looks like lots of other Middle Eastern cultural food as well.

Unbelievable food my favourite place to take out so far in the GTA. Love it. Close your eyes and pick any of his barbecue, I eat the chicken legs the rice you have to mix it I like the green rice and the pomegranate rice amazing.

Ordered the Waziri with cranberry rice. First time customer as well. Food was great, tender meat, yummy rice, good vegetables as well. Only complaint had to be the rice didnt taste like cranberries. Overall, good.

I was very excited when I found this place but just had one of the worst customer service experience in my life with the man doing the kabobs, who I believe may be the owner. Would have spent much more if not for him and will gladly drive the extra 20 minutes to Yonge and Finch for persian groceries to be treated with common decency. As for the food, it was overpriced. Much better quality and exceptional service at Sedaghat Restaurant at Danforth Road and Danforth Avenue.

Extremely bad customer service in particular the owner and guy making kebab are very rude. No one is wearing a musk. Almost everything has no price tag and when you ask the price, its twice as much as other places. There are better persian stores in the area than there theives.

I bought some pomegranates which the lady affirmed was from the mediterranean area. They were a dollar more expensive than any other grocery store and very very bitter and rotten. Also she sold me cake which she confirmed was very tasty - it turned out to be a very expensive bun

5 stars for their kabobs alone! Such a great, classic, and healthy meal to go made over fire. Love when the juices of the meat, lemon, and tomatoes seep into their pita breads.

Stumbled upon this place tonight. Im always curious about ethnic strip mall stores. This place had a lot of dry goods and flat breads, but I was distracted by their steam tables. The food looked soooooooo good I had to try it. Got the lamb shank ($9/each), some kind of lentil stew with dried lemons, some kind of spinach stew with dried lemons. Their saffron rice looked really delicious, but I decided to skip the rice and got some lavash bread instead. All of the food was really delicious. Definitely going back to this place to try more Persian food. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. (Sorry no close up photos of the food we ate it all... mmmmmm so good!)

If youre going there expecting customer service and all smiles then dont go. Everyone seems to hate their job at this place (except for the young girl who has a life outside of this place since she smiles somewhat). Just place your order and stand quietly aside. Dont smile dont say nothing! Having said that, if you want good tasty food then you have to check out this place.. amazing bbq chicken. I dont worry too much about customer service since Im in and out anyway .. So Im giving 4 out of 5 because of the above average pricing... (Keeps going up all the time).

Also there is a preparing food section which you can consider it as small but fresh food takeout restaurant all the time. My friends and family have been ordering food regularly at this location for over 10 years. The short, stubby manager is extremely unprofessional and rude. He gave my employees and myself rotten rice with a mold taste. I called back to explain we are regular clients and this was not normal. He yelled at me and was screaming on the phone. He said next time you come you ask for the manager , you ask for the manager. I dont want to ask for the manager to get fresh rice, what kind of business is that? Do I have to see the manager to get fresh rice? Awful, awfulllllllll customer service and he didnt want to accept the disgusting left over food incident instead he yelled and made me feel useless. I will never ever go back to this market, it is awful and he is so rude to everyone I have ever seen him interact with. The rice situation has happened twice the first time I let it go and thought maybe it was a bad day for someone but the second time around I knew this was not normal. I would call public health on this store, extremely unsafe to re-use food.

This is a butcher/take out/grocery store. The staff is very friendly about explaining their options of food choices. They serve a kabobs with sides and rice. The kabobs are fresh with a strong bbq flavour and the rice is perfectly cooked. Also, FYI the meat is halal. The beef kabobs comes in skewers of 2 and the chicken comes in skewers of 1.

Foods is great but worst customer service. All the time. More than once and I think it s one of the owners. Always the older Persian men that are rude. Don t know how they do it where they come from but this isn t Iran, it s Canada. Start treating people with RESPECT especially if I m giving you my business!!!!!

The person/cook who answered the phone was very rude and should never ever answer the phone or even speak to a human let alone a dog. He was talking to me like hes too busy for me and in a condescending tone, must have been because I was speaking English after he answered the phone with salom. I know for a fact he wouldnt of talked the way he did if I came in person.

I used to buy my meat and other dry ingridience without asking how much they were then I found out he is over charging me. My last experience was a very old bag of rice that smelled horible. Even though its very close to me I have stopped going there.
