My first order at this restaurant by doordash and It is so good. Chicken Shawarma tastes clean with strong flavors of middle east spices. Rice also was cooked perfectly. I will order again definitely.
Enjoyed a fried fish and grilled. Loved the grilled the most, great vibes and good food, Scarborough gem.
Had shawarma plate combo. Liked the shawarma taste and size. Not like other middle eastern restaurants where they give jumbo burrito sized ones. The taste and size is similar to those I had in Dubai. Hence I liked it. Good value for money.
Always drove by this place, so decided to try it. The 3 of us shared a Tilapia Plate. First I want to say that the staff were very nice and very perceptive, she gave us 3 pitas because there were 3 of us. Even though we only ordered 1 meal. I really enjoyed the the Hummus it was very smooth, the potatoes, fish and vege were basic. But when it came together in pita is was nice.
If there is zero star I would give them. We had ordered grilled sea bream fish and fried red snapper and appetizers as you see in the picture. The fishes has no taste at all and was dry i do not suggest it to try it all the food has no taste at all but we were hungry and waited 50 minutes to get our order just the shrimp was tasty but the rest 0. They should’ve just served the appetizer and we will wait for the fishes. 0 service and taste see the picture how the fish is dry and has no taste i was wiping the spices to eat the fish was very thick and yelow has no taste and the fish smells fish not cooked fish . 000000000000000 Zerooo i will never come back again.
Shwarma was good had all the sauce and the toppings but it was cold. If the wrap was warmed up a little or the chicken as well then it would have tasted much better. It has flavour but as it was cold I couldn’t enjoy it completely
Gave 4 stars as fish is very expensive. The taste is super good. The barbecue Sea Braws was amazing. We ordered one big size fish and they came with pita and other sauces. I’d prefer a good hot sauce and white sauce to have the fish with but they only have a sauce which is bitter in taste. Other than that it’s pretty good to taste fish like tropical countries, they take out the fish fresh under the ice. Their mix veggies with fish was a perfect addition
Ordered the kibbeh (1 dozen), mixed grill and jumbo shrimp for delivery. My partner called and ask that they please ensure quality is met as we had 2 guests visiting from overseas. As seen below, the kibbeh were almost all burnt and could not be consumed. It appeared as though the oil that was used to deep fry had not been changed in some time. The jumbo shrimp were cold and 1 piece was found in the hummus as seen below and the sauce was thrown in the baba ghanooj (not very sanitary or appealing when you open the box). The mixed grill was also cold. There was no Arabic bread added, no napkins, no cutlery. We also ordered knafeh which our guests visiting from Lebanon said it did not compare to back home standards and we felt very disappointed. We ordered Laban which was fine, it came as a drink in a bottle, 1 side of garlic sauce and a side of rice. The rice was tasteless. We decided to order from this restaurant as we heard very good reviews about it, unfortunately we were very disappointed. The whole order came to around $170 and it remained mostly untouched. The restaurant is only 12 km away so there should be no excuse for cold food.

I ordered on December 19 under the 1+1 promotion through Uber eats, BBQ Beef Kafta Sandwich and got a serious bacterial infection of the stomach, I vomited all night every 1-2 hours. At present, the symptoms remain the same. What is this????? How can you sell it????? I always took shawarma from you, but this time it was my last point, I will not come to you again after this. I got a serious bacterial infection from your restaurant!!!!!! Wait for the lawyer

Food is great. Takes a bit of time to get it since they are so popular and busy. A bit chaotic but at the end for the value for money and the taste, you cant get this combination anywhere else.

Compared to other restaurants the wrap (beef kofta) wasn t that good. It s just good for hunger not for taste. I felt I wasted my money. The wrap was cold as well. Beef kofta wrap is not recommended at all. For this price Habibi Q serves better wraps that s serves the purpose which I tasted two weeks ago.

Great butcher shop, fresh meat with many Middle Eastern prepared meat (kafta, kebbeh, raw kebbeh nayeh, makanek, sujok). Best fresh bread in town, delivered hot every morning. Cheese and Zaatar freshly baked look awesome I havent tried them yet.
The Best mix shawarma sandwich and fries in GTA. I will go on a limb here to state that this shawarma is better than most Dubai shawarmas. The only issue is the price as the combo now costs around $17 tax included.

I am very impressed! The meat on dough was absolutely delicious, the raw kibbeh was perfectly seasoned, and the grilled meats were full of flavor. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic and tasty food
By FAR the best shawarma in Toronto. I live in the west side of Toronto but make it a priority to travel all the way to Scarbs once a month to have their chicken shawarma wraps. The taste of the chicken, and the regular garlic + spicy garlic sauces are so unique tasting.

Very expensive. Small serving. The taste was beyond disappointing. Some people there are good and care about good service and food quality but there are others that dont, it is really difficult to keep supporting this restaurant.

Due to the life altering experience I ve had here today I had to change my review. Ghadir is officially the absolute best shawarma place in the entire country. Some people may not agree (perhaps they are not mentally sound) but I can guarantee you that no other shawarma place will make your order exactly how you want it and do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your meal like these guys do. I m always in and out of there but the few minutes that I m in there all the people that work there are super nice. Most importantly the food they serve is always very clean and fresh and the flavours are out of this world. I don t like to give my kids outside food much but I feel good sharing the Ghadir plates with them and they love it. Don t waste your time or money anywhere else. This is by far the best you will ever find. And if you re not in the mood for Shawarma they have so much other stuff too that I will be trying in the future. I love Ghadir so much I think I might name my next child Ghadir

I recently visited this restaurant and was highly impressed with both the food and the outstanding customer service. The highlight of my experience was Fatima, who works in the fish section. Fatima was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I honestly thought she was the owner at first because of how much pride she takes in her work. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you re looking for quality ( fried or bbq fish).
The kitchen guys are not nice at all. Very bad service and mean for no reason what so ever. They look at you like you have a problem with them I ve been told this before but didn t listen. Got my lesson. We will never come back.

Please do us a favour please don t sell chicken shawarma anymore, you are bad example for a shawarma. I had shawarma across GTA but this the number 1 worst shawarma i ever had, the chicken is rough and dry I still feel the paste of chicken in my mouth, no flavours no juicy, on top of it s a $10 I wouldn t even eat it for free because I feel sick
This is the best Shawarma I ve ever had in my life. Unfortunately, the people are little rude who make them didn t like the customer service at all, but I only go here just for the taste of the food.

Best shawarma in the GTA hands down
Easily one of the best shawarma joints in Scarborough (which is saying a lot considering Scarborough has arguably the best shawarmas in the entire GTA). Food pricing is comparable to other establishments however they do have a student discount for their single Chicken Wrap. Atmosphere is okay, the dine-in room is seperate from the take-out room, which is also merged with their butcher shop and rather miniscule selection of groceries. Of the items that were on sale, most notably were what I think were uncut submarine buns that looked to be freshly baked in-house. Ordering system is that you order at the POS station then wait for your order number to be called behind the counter on the opposite side. When they call your order number, you may take your food and leave. My only real gripe about this establishment is the rather mediocre parking/entry/exit system. As stated in other reviews, theres only one entrance/exit and its a bit tight, especially with cars parked on both sides, which they almost always are. Hopefully when Ghadir expands they can fix this!
I always buy my (halal) meat and chicken from them. They are honest and clean. Have a lot of options for those who missed our Arab food and Arab grocery products.
Food always tasty, servings vary. Some nights stingy and you can taste the folded dry pita when getting wrap. Some its proper stuffed.
Had the whole chicken barbecue with and without the combo (including rice/fries and an extra pita bread). The whole chicken barbecue here is really good, bringing back memories of the Turkish restaurant flavors we enjoyed in Qatar. The only thing missing is the onion and parsley salad with sumaq if they had that, it would be even tastier! The price is also worth it, with a portion thats good for 2 to 3 people maximum.
I live in Sauga and I ll make the effort to come taste proper real Shawrma every now and then. Just some pickles and garlic and it s literally the most legendary Shawrma in the whole GTA. Real Shawrma is about the seasoning and how juicy the meat is.

Growing up in Dubai and moving to Canada many moons ago left a huge void that lead to an endless hunt for the most authentic tasting shawarma that s reminiscent of back home. #ghadir for the win. Definitely my go to despite the long commute from the city all the way up to Lawrence. Well worth the drive!

The best meat, fish, & baked goods in the 416! Get your fresh meats to bbq at home, or get freshly made delectable dishes! But the star is the fish market. Pick your fish, have them grill or fry them and add some appetizers and you re in business. Oh and the meat and cheese pies from the bakery are the best in town! And complements to the new knafe chef who makes some tasty pastries!
Its a bit chaotic getting into the lot and even when you walk . Feels like a world wind. But the service is great and the food was delicious! The fish side is not inexpensive but totally worth every penny. Ill be back !

One of the best quality and tastiest shawarma spots on the Lawrence Ave. Meat and toppings are always fresh but be prepared to wait a while for your order especially if you happen to be there around dinner time. One of my favourite shawarmas in the city. It s very similar to Dubai style shawarmas that I grew up eating and miss very much. Could use a bit more garlic sauce, and sometimes is inconsistent with how fresh or juicy the meat is, but over all my experiences here have been great.
A young man was our server last night, he was very kind and polite, and provided excellent service. All the food was amazing and looked delicious.
Authentic Lebanese Shawarma
I went there to eat their shawarma which I watched a YouTube video about. I took some bites immediately and it tasted pretty good but when I ate the rest of the shawarma after 20 minutes ( after warming it up). It was not the same. Also, very important, the quantity of meat was very less compared to the price.

A great place to enjoy seas foods like fish, salmon and shrimp. The portions are big compared to the price, and a plate of 3 dishes can adequately satisfy 5 adults. The staff are friendly and hospitable. There is always an issue of having tables and the same is true for parking. There are limited parking spots. You might need to wait a bit of your meals compared to other places, but it is for a better reason and have patience with that

I really like their shawarma plates. Now, shawarma wraps Id say average, there are better options in the same area, hot sauce flavour in the wrap not my favorite. It was busy and I had to wait 20 min for the shawarma wrap.

I recently visited a fantastic restaurant in Scarborough, and I must say, it s one of the best I ve experienced! The food here is absolutely delicious, and the prices are very affordable. Whether you re craving fresh fish, cooked, fried, or prepared just the way you like, they have it all. The kebabs are perfectly seasoned, the chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the raw meat dishes are fresh and tasty. One of my favorite parts was the fresh bread and Saj bread, which added a great touch to the meal. Honestly, whatever you re in the mood for, you can find it here. Comfort food/grocery in Scarborough. This is honestly so authentic and everything tastes amazing. Whether your opt for seafood, shawarma, or manaeesh, you will love the food. This place is more traditional, so do not expect a fancy dining experience. And honestly, it adds to the vibes. Im a regular here and its honestly one of the most nostaglic/homey experiences in Toronto. Its comfort food.

They maintained the quality and taste of the food. So many food and grocery options are available. Spacious dine-in area but almost always crowded and noisy.
I came with a lot expectations but customer service was very poor... The two ladies at the cash counter not at all responding properly and felt like just more responsive to arab speakers only. I paid for water and she dont even wants to show where the fridge is. I ask for an extra plate for my kid to them and they sent me to the food counter and the guy over there told me to pay first then I will give you the plate, again back to pay to the counter and they says not to pay for extra plate.... Silly things but felts bad with kids to go back n forth... Never recommends for a 2nd visit.. even when you serve good food with bad attitude, the food tastes bad too....
This afternoon, my husband and I had lunch here and witnessed a medical emergency at the next table. I was impressed by how all the staff stepped in to help everyone was incredibly caring and attentive. The restaurant manager was especially helpful during the situation. On top of that, the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place for both the quality of their service and their fantastic meals.
