My first time trying out the pizza. DELICIOUS! Potato wedges are delicious too. The sauce is unique and the right amount of cheese. The prices are reasonable and they have deals. I ordered the pizza online and it is easy to do. The app is better than the franchises. I will definitely go back to this location. I have been looking for a local pizza joint. This is my fiancé and I first time eating from here and WOW. Amazing pizza and wings combo!! We re on the hunt to find the best wings in the GTA and so far this is in our top 3!! The wings had amazing crunch, they were fresh and juicy !! We ordered our wings with honey garlic and hot sauce on the side. Pizza was not too oily and the crust was amazing. Great taste, and overall presentation! Praba was very welcoming and friendly. Highly highly recommended.

Couple of good experiences ordering through Skip the dishes. Today both this business and the app are getting 1 star. Tried ordering a special delivery combo, courier was supposed to come in 50 minutes. When I escalated the issue with Skip the dishes rep, he said I lied about calling the restaurant. I did call the restaurant. Meanwhile, the restaurant kept blaming Skip the dishes. After almost one hour of waiting, after placing the order, my order got cancelled, though I didnt ask for it. Guess this business lost my business. Thank you, but no thank you. Not recommended! Thats your rating, take that....

Wings are excellantayyyy

Pizza was just Ok, wings were good. The service was terrible. I was paying with a prepaid gift card and they couldn t get there machine to accept it. They said I can t, more like you don t want to learn how to accept it. I m all in favour of supporting the mom and pop stores but they need to there act together.

Ordered from this place and it was one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. Crust was perfect. One of the nicest pizza sauces and perfect amount of sauce. Good amount of toppings. Wings were solid as well. Good sticky BBQ sauce. Good price too. Overall will be ordering again when in town.

Famous Pizza Town is my go-to for delivery. Im not sure its the BEST pizza in town, but good enough at the price to be a great value. Also decent wings.

Forget north of Brooklyn.. for years I feel these guys make the best pizza New York or Brooklyn style.. with the cheese or pepperoni only.. keep it simple and keep it good

Now dont get me wrong I love the pizza here and the wings but they hired some new guy and hes terrible. I phoned ahead at 8:07pm for 1 mega pizza and he said 20-25min. Got there at 8:27pm and it was a little busy for the 1 guy to handle all orders. When he finally got to me he said the pizza wasnt ready yet so I went to my car and waited a little bit. Came back inside and everybody that was in there was gone and 2 new customers were in there. So I had to wait for them to get served, meanwhile he was dressing up a pizza and he put it in the oven. When the other 2 got served he went to the back and put away everything and then came up to me. I asked is it ready? And he said 2 more min. This was at 8:47pm I asked wheres the pizza? And he claimed it was in the oven. I told him you just put that in there! So not only did he not have more order ready even though I called ahead but he was going to serve me a raw pizza because he forgot about my order....I just said cancel it and walked out that ruined my night. I ended up at lizzy nova dissatisfied about the whole incident

Great place. Admit plaza looks a little sketchy. Great pizza, and great prices too. Give it a try. Quick update almost ten years later: Pizza here remains high quality, great prices. Pizza is a nice thinner crust (not thin crust, but thinner) and toppings remain well distributed and generous. We order from here about 2x a month at least.

The best local place at least for my family

I ordered their Famous Wing Combo (large) for delivery. It supposedly comes with a large 3 topping pizza, 12 wings in your choice of sauce, 3 pops, 1 dip. What I got was a medium pizza with cheese. Just cheese - no other toppings. Dry wings with no sauce and only 2 pops. They even got the dipping sauce wrong - ordered garlic, got ranch. Thats 0 for 4! Great job! Famous? Youre famously incompetent! Beware: theyre happy to take your $$$ but wont provide what you purchased.

This place slaps honestly. My family and I have been ordering pizza from this shop since probably around 2015? Ever since they opened! I have gotten pizza from here for so many friends and they all love it. Seriously soooo delicious, amazing crust and cheese to sauce ratio. Also really well priced!

Pizza is usually spot on, but the undercarriage was very soggy this time. I noticed they changed boxes to a thinner, non-corrugated type cardboard - and without any parchment-style paper under the pizza to soak up any grease. The final product suffered. Normally 5-star pizza.

Great, friendly service first and foremost. The pizzamaker was generous with ingredients and the pizza came out just right. Tastewise, the pizza had the right amount of crunch and texture. Only thing lacking was flavor :( It was very bland. Very little seasonings and sauce was sparse. None of that bursting with flavor tomato-ness. Heres a recommendation to the owner to ramp up your sauce and overall savoriness something potentially great!

Best pizza in town! It s tasty and affordable. Owner is very nice. Highly recommend everyone to try it. Some of his meats are halal, but make sure to specify it while you re ordering.

I just ordered through Uber eats and the person who packaged my food forgot to add a whole order of 12 wings I asked them if they can deliver they said no that I have to take it up with Uber eats even though its not even Uber eats fault on top of that since its the pandemic Uber eats arent replying so I just lost money and apparently theres nothing I can do about it. The man who answered was also very rude . He could of gave me the wings that I paid for but he doesnt care about his customers just the money . Will not be ordering again . Thanks a lot .

Absolutely my favorite local neighborhood pizza joint. I usually order their chicken and wing specials. The halal beef pepperoni with black olive pizza or the hot peppers with anchovie pizza is my fix! My family are picky so we do half of each toppings to satisfy everyone. Their food is always fresh and piping hot! I suggest you upgrade your wings to larger size. The wings are top rank! I usually get them dry and order the Franks or BBQ sauces as dippers. #SupportYourLocalRestaurant

Excellent pizza

This was my very first order from Famous Pizza Town which was delivered by Door Dash. My order arrived on time, however the 2 litre bottle of Coke which I had ordered was not delivered to me and was forgotten entirely. I asked the door Dash driver what can be done about this situation as I had alread paid my $2.99 for it. He simply stated that it wasnt his problem and all he did was deliver what was waiting for him at the store. Thanks Famous Pizza Town, you just squandered any chance of me ordering from you ever again. The name Famous Pizza Town is quite a fitting name..........youre famous for all the wrong reasons !!!!!

First time ordering. Liked the 3 topping for a great price. However very shy on toppings. And the garlic bread wirh cheese was toast no taste and burnt. Not on regular loaf bread. Very dissapointing.

Absalutly horrible service they messed up our order and would not fix they mistakes they made .My son is highly allergic to fish and they put anchovies on our pizza and told us that someone else did not want the pizza so they gave it to us . The person that answered the phone was rude and hung up on me .this is not acceptable . Do not buy from these ppl

Ive been living in the area for more than 20 years,I always drive by but I never been in there to buy a pizza,although I always see that the pizza joint is always open,lately Ive been wondering how good those pizzas will be that they have never closed down,so now after read some of the reviews I have to buy me a pizza there as soon as possible.

HORRIBLE customer service. The employey starting yelling at me , because he got my pizza wrong and blaming ME saying that I ordered something different when I know damn well what I had ordered. Then when I told him to fix it, he kept yelling at me. Absolutely rude. The pizza isn t even that good. Never ordering from here again.

Not sure why its the customers fault when they get an order wrong. Instead of yelling at their frequent customers for an error on their part, they should have tried to rectify the problem. They just lost one of their best customers for their bad service and rude attitudes.

I would give them 0 star if I could. I went there at 10pm on a Friday night and they didnt have any pizza slices on display. I said Will you make a pizza to give me a slice and they said No. What kind of a pizza business doesnt serve slices on a Friday night? Your policy doesnt include not making pizzas for a slice. Terrible business.

Great locally-owned pizza place- our family isnt looking for any frills and this place fits the bill for our take-out/delivery pizza requirements. The food has always been delicious and hot at a very reasonable price! I would recommend.

The pizza was terrible - one of the worst I ve had. Plastic cheese and almost no ingredients to be found when eating it. First pizza place found when moving into this area and tried it because of the high ratings ... I can t believe others thought this was good.

Pizza is cheap and tasty, but not filling.

By far, the best hidden pizza gem in scarborough. We always look for an independant pizza joint that has better taste and quality than places like pizza pizza ( cardboard) or 241 ect... and this place in the past 4 years has never dissapaointed us EVER!...we always ask for extra sauce and well done and the Pizzas have been PERFECT everytime. Customer service is friendly but can be busy at times just cause they are so popular but hey!!... when you offer quality pies at this price?.. no complaints. Just take the risk if youve never ordered here and you wont be dissapointed!!

My Husband and I call Famous Pizza Town every time we order pizza. The Staff is super friendly. The service is just as great. and the delivery time is really fast.

Pizza was great and well made. Ive seen a lot of small places like this butcher a 5-topping large pizza with bad topping placement etc. etc. Pizzas from here come out great, crust is always just perfect; sets up well. All at a reasonable price. I called in at around 10:30 on a Saturday night and went in for pickup at 10:55. Ive had places gladly screw me out of an order being so close to closing, but no issue here. The pizza was hot and well made when I got there and the guy didnt seem to mind at all. Free delivery if your close enough on orders over $15, and most the deals are reasonable. (The menu and open hours here on maps/Plus are up to date) -EDIT- No clue why but they seem to have taken down the pics of the menu-EDIT- The potato wedges however are (as expected) salty and too greasy, alongside being quite a small portion; like any other wedges from any other place that isnt really inclined to do such a thing well. Most the sauces they use are pretty strong, except the dipping sauce for pizza. All in all: a great, old school, one-off place with classic method.

It was an order of pizza and fries. It will not be an order of Pizza and fries any more. unexplainable exprience.
