Pizza Nova in Scarborough

Store closes at 12am but an old unpleasant person refused to serve at 11:45pm. Very pathetic

nah this place sucks.

Went in during lunch time and got the Chorizo slice. The pizza was on point, the service was quick and the space is clean and well kept.

Always has an attitude, super rude, doesn t give receipts and doesn t give back change. The pizza isn t good either, he also doesn t wash his hands after taking cash and making pizza I wish i could give 0 stars tbh

I came to get a party pizza for my family after work. The atmosphere was nice with the Italian inspired music in the background. The gentleman working was kind to me and quickly prepared the pizza. My family enjoyed eating the pizza. Thank you.

My first time at Bamburgh location. There was 1 pizza cook who coughed constantly with no mask, did not wear gloves at all nor did he cover his face while coughing. It was sickening. When I got home I nuked the pizza to try and kill the germs Im sure that were in the pizza. I will NEVER go there again. Mask and gloves should be mandatory while preparing food for customers in this Covid environment, and more so when he has a bad cough. He should not even be preparing food for the public. Not happy.

Does not honor buy 6 slice get 7th slice free card properly. My card already had 4 validated slices. Went in store to buy 3 slices the worker only validated 2 slices and said free slice next visit. I said buy 2 the 3rd should be free ?? Didnt argue but on principle should have only paid for 2 slices. Scamming never visiting again. Keep your free slice.

Thin crust. Hankering for thin crust, this place can satisfy. Selection of dipping sauces is available for purchase. Has been at this location for a long time. Parking was of no concern as I walked.

There was this old guy at counter who didnt even looked at the customer when they come. He was continuously ignoring and doing the work inside the kitchen. No communication whatsover. After that I ordered a penzaroti which was originally costing 6.79$. But he charged 9$ and cheated me. When I asked for receipt he didnt gave me the receipt and instead gave me dip and pop which i didnt asked for. Really terrible

Worst pizza delivery experience ever

I went to this place and it was the worst experience ever. I genuinely like pizzas here but at this location there was a man who was very rude and misinterpreted the order which I gave. Afterwards he gave me a pizza which had those last thick pieces of onion and that too very unevenly spread. Very bad experience

Dear Manager, I am writing to complain about the rude and unprofessional service I received at your pizza shop (395 Bamburgh Circle) on August 29, 2021, around 8:30 pm. I was ignored by the staff for about 5 minutes when I entered the shop. When I asked him to take my order, he did so impatiently and told me to come back in 15 minutes without taking my payment. I returned to the shop after about 7 or 8 minutes, knowing that my order was not ready yet, but the staff treated me very disrespectfully and asked me why I was staring at him. He said he did not like people watching him work. I told him I was not staring at him and asked why I could not wait there. He said there were people before me, which I understood, but I could not accept his rude attitude towards me. The worst part was that he refused to serve me and told me to leave, and he even swore at me! That was unacceptable. He should not be working in the service industry. If he was the owner, the shop would definitely go out of business. I hope you are a big company and you should take this very serious issue seriously and give me a reply. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with your service and I expect an apology and a compensation for this unpleasant experience. Sincerely, Connie

WARNING! Do not go to this place! if you are looking for well handled food and protective measures against covid dont come here! The main guy who has been working their for years has always had issue with washing his hands. Today I thought I give it another try. I saw him handle a lot of money at cash then went straight to pick up chicken to bake and then went to prepare bread and dough. His mask was not even covering his nose and clearly has no care for the pandemic. Moreover the second person making the pizza had dropped food lids on the floor to which he clearly picked it up and placed it back then continued making the pizza.I urge anyone not to come here as it is clearly is a safety concern . Theres has been numerous complaints about this pizza nova and the way they handled food and just simply washing their hands as seen in the comments below and towards the management. Clearly nothing has changed over the years and sadly they have gotten worse right as were in a pandemic. I highly advise to avoid this pizza nova for your own safety in these tough times. Also if you are a community member who has seen pizza nova not complying with simple food handling and health concerns please voice out your opinion. From what I see they have bots in the reviews who has been reviewing their places to make their stars higher. - a person who cares.

There was a mixup with the online order. 2 pizzas ordered. Some how the toppings for two pizzas went on 1 pizza. And cheese on other. And size mix up. But the pizza was still good

Rude customer service.

Ordered the medium one topping special for pick up. First time I ordered from this location since I was nearby and Im a big fan of pizza nova especially the crust and the sauce on their pizzas. Never had a bad experience until this time. The crust was sour and there was barely any sauce on the pizza. Very disappointed since t I was looking forward to enjoying this pizza. I will still order from pizza nova but not this store. Reading the other reviews it looks like other customers have problems with this location as well.

ordered 2 party sized pizza for the hotel meeting. Absolutely the best tasting pizza I have ever had. A little bit crispy crunch out side make a amazing texture when combined with perfectly soft bread. A lot of cheese but not overwhelming and covers all the evenly spread topings. That is so called finger licking good. Despiting the amazing taste, along with the professional service. The driver is really humble and friendly. Even it is a hard time to everyone right now, He is packed with enthusiasm the whole time, with all the caring details in his service, simply made the delivery a five star experience. Over all, a wonderful experience totally come back again. And recommend to myfriend.

I have regularly picked up pizza at this location for a few years. We always get well done pies and find them very tasty and well made. Service is excellent - the pizza is usually ready by the time I arrive to pick up (about 15 minutes). Owner and staff have always been very friendly and courteous. Once having locked my keys in the car, they drove me home to pick up an extra set, and took me back to the car. You cant get better service than that!

This place is very special to me, I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years now and their pizza always hits the spot. Highly recommend their garlic dipping sauce to go along with pizza!

#WOW so Ive been here a couple times now.. hands down this is my favorite Pizza Nova. Consistently the pizza has been #1.. Ive been to other locations in richmond hill and in T.O and every time the pizza is inconsistent. BUT this Pizza Nova every time the pizza is mouth watering. I brought my kids to eat at the McDonalds at Bamburgh Circle but my kids started crying they wanted Pizza instead. So we went to Pizza Nova. The man who made our pizza was so nice and he even gave my kids a bag of chips each for free. The pizza was so amazing and very tasty. Now my son keeps asking for pizza and my daughter already asked if we can order her pizza for her birthday. Thank you to everyone at this Pizza Nova. First impression is amazing. I wish I could upload the video I took of my kids eating. They were so happy!

I went to this Pizza Nova 15-20 yrs ago. I m 70 yrs old now and came here on Friday. It was so busy I was going to forget about ordering. I have a bad leg and didn t want to stand around. The server said don t worry please go wait in your car and we will bring it to you in 10 minutes. I was lost for words. This is the best service I had and will definitely return. I dont understand how a majority of these good reviews are from bloggers. This place is horrible, the guy has no respect for customers or knows how to talk to customers. Super rude. Make sure u always ask for receipt, this guy tried robbing me of 2 dollars when I paid with a 20 for a slice. He gives u less change . Why does he get so angry when you ask for a receipt

Pizza Nova is always a good choice for pizza. You have to add the spicy olive oil, garlic, oregano for enhanced flavour! Can use some improvements in customer service! Nothing bad, nothing that stands out.

I ordered a pizza for my kids as dinner. It turned out to be very spicy. My kids just took a bite and didn t want to eat it anymore. I guess they used the brush or wrong sauce. So I called the customer service number and they said I can get a free replacement. But when I took the pizza back, the staff was super rude and refused to admit it s actually spicy or replaced it for me. To be honest, the pizza don t taste good. I ordered from it only because I live nearby. I don t even want to mention a medium pizza costs more then $20. It s insane with customer service like this. Will never come back again!!!

I wouldnt recommend this Pizza Nova. We ordered online and they still happened to get our order wrong. We ordered a pizza that was supposed to be ham and cheese and they provided pepperoni and cheese. We also ordered wedges and the box was half full like someone ate half of the box. The combo was supposed to come with pizzelle but it came with some type of crackers instead and we werent even advised that they would include it as a substitute. This could just be a one time occurrence but it was our first time ordering from here. Person who checked me out seemed ok - not rude but also not nice. Either way, we would never order from this location again. I just wish we opened the boxes before bringing it back home.

Bad customer service. food is nothing special. the (owner im guessing) is incredibly rude and from what I heard is that he puts in very little people per shift and over works them. they dont care about individuals as they mainly make money from school deals.

It is the worst pizza store. The staff does not wear mask properly. The service is so terrible. I asked my daughter to order it. But the staff did not have patient even did not listen to my daughter speak. At that time, there is only I and my daughter in the store.

Fred and his associate, Richard, are both extremely friendly, helpful and considerate. The service is excellent; no delays. They always make me feel welcome. Both men are kind to my daughter with a disability. They make sure that she leaves with a treat, which always makes her happy. Great place to go to!

I ordered a vegetarian pizza on line for pickup. It was hot and ready when I got there and it was excellent. I remember other veggie pizzas from elsewhere that were tasteless.

These guys messed up three orders (2 deliveries and 1 pick up) within a week. On top of it, customer service is absolutely rude (pick up experience). Strongly advise to avoid this location. Mar 13th - lunch & dinner deliveries Mar 16th - pick up order

Ordered a jumbo pizza and it was burnt. Had asked for black olives on one half of it but it was put hardly on 4 pieces.

I love Nova pizza , but this location is the worst, wont come back anymore , I order 2 times , the guy always said cash only when I choose to pay credit card method , he lied about their card machine not working , he took out the card machine when I insist the payment method. Inside that ,the pizza were soaked and slice not evently. The wings are burn but not crispy.

Forgot using a gift card because the machine is broken and if I try to pay credit card, I get the pay cash or debit excuse. This guy has been like this for 20 years. fast and convenient

The reason I have been using Pizza Nova is because their salads do not contain iceberg lettuce and their wings are not supposed to be fried. Yesterday my order contain 20 wings; it tasted quite weird. Does not seem they are doing quality control. They were not only extremely dry, the taste was not good. Maybe too much preservatives? I am not sure what went wrong but I tried to eat a couple and had to through out the rest. Maybe I will just move on to Swiss Chalet as I heard theirs is not bad.

Omg there pizza at this location is so good First time have their puzza melt in my mouth especially the new Chacko chicken with spinach loved....we normally order from Pizza Pizza but this Pizza Nova veggies is so fresh we can taste the difference

Often visit this location for the pick up special order. The franchise owner is not customer friendly at all. I would recommend someone from head office come in and retrain this franchisee on the importance of being polite.

My experience with their crew was terrible. Here is an email that I sent to their support team: Hello Sir, I have recently went to a Pizza Nova store located at Steeles and Warden and I had some very disturbing customer service problems that I believe should be fixed. Firstly, the workers there are not very efficient and this shows the long hours that I had to wait compared to other locations where I only had to wait a couple of minutes. Furthermore, the workers there are very rude. For example, a worker that seems to be leading the team though I failed to take note of his name, screamed at the customers in his store to get out because it was crowded. In addition, there was a calculation error made by the workers (not the register as that gave out the right receipt) that was made on purpose in order to snatch a few dollars from unwary customers. I know this because though others have paid $20 for a $9 order, they have only received $10 change. I approached the male worker mentioned before and when I told him about the possible mistake, he laughed at me and told me I was cheap. In fact, he laughed at me in front of the many customers and made no attempt to apologize. I hope my problem with these thievish workers will propel you to do something about it. Please get back to me as soon as possible as I am currently writing a blog about Pizza Nova. Thank you for your time.

Horrible pizza. I live in the buildings like 1 minute away so ive gotten a good amount of pizzas due to the convenience. But they are horrible This is an absolute disgrace on pizza nova as a company. The reviews speak for themselves. I havent seen this rude angry Persian man but the pizza is still terrible in comparison to other pizza nova locations, shameful. Pizza Nova really needs to personally step in this is unbelievable.

Worst pizza nova location ever! The owner aka the old persian guy is very rude and ignorant and acts as if hes the founder of pizza nova! Hes the WORST pizza maker, zero customer service and extremely cheap when it comes to making the pizzas. There is no toppings and cheese just a bit of sauce on a thick crust thats undercooked. Ive been to this place numerous of times and every single time he makes the pizza i literally just throw it out and waste my money. Ive learned that hes there every sunday so avoid this place on sundays trust me itll save you headache and money.

I once ordered online and asked for a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. I got the cheese pizza but the other pizza had peppers on it. They refused to give a refund so we ate the pizza.

Terrible customer service, and tried to steal my cell phone when I left it there. I asked if i could look around the place and he threatened to call the police on me. After tracking my phone when i got home, it was exactly pinpointed on the Pizza Nova location. Pointed this out to the manager and he reluctantly returns the phone. Absolutely disgusting service, and terrible people there overall. I would rather walk through 2 ft snow for a good mile and a half to the nearest pizza store than come here ever again.

The person who played iphone and took my money didnt wash his hands before started making pizza. And he is not friendly at all. We threw it away after we found a big piece of green color stuff in the pepperoni pizza when we ate it.

This is the second and perhaps the last time I buy PN at this location because of the service not the food. The first time, the person at the counter wasnt friendly at all and didnt use utensils but hands to place the slices properly in the carton box after they were heated - not the best approach in terms of hygiene. Today I decided to give the place a second chance. As a result, what I had for lunch was slightly warm pizza, not a hot crispy slice just from the oven youd expect (I didnt check for how long they kept it in the oven if they did, do I have to?).
