100% of the time I order anything it s wrong. They are not capable of cooking a pizza well-done, they are also incredibly cheap with the toppings. I had to order 4x a topping, to which I still received double at best. Worst store I ve ever been to.

Not a good experience.Ordered avocado Pizza.Slices of avocado were on top of pizza.The avocado they used was not ripped at all ,very very hard and had no taste at all.I am not even sure how they were able to peel and cut that avocado. The avocado was not edible.The pizza was good (minus avocado). Also I ordered arugula salad with pine nuts and some kind of sliced cheese.The salad came with no nuts,no cheese! The manager corrected both orders but I am wondering about who is working in the kitchen.

first off there was bugs ALL over the place. there was an earwig walking on the counter near the donation box, flying ants FALLING from the ceiling, crawling on the condiments. super gross. pizza itself was greasy, fell apart when i picked it up and tastes bland. took almost 30 minutes to jus get a large pizza.

Extremely rude behavior of the staff at the counter. A black guy on the counter refused to listen to me properly when I went to pick up my pizza as there was confusion on the name and made me stand there for a while while the pizza got cold! The place also looked unclean and I saw at least one other customer leaving as the servers were not listening to them properly!

Fast service with tasty pizza!

ALWAYS a swift and efficient experience, order ahead and then pick up when ready. In this case I ordered 2hours ahead to make sure it was ready by the time we were ready for pick up. Delicious, hot and made to perfection! Dietary restrictions: You can order whatever you want! Without pepperoni, if you just want vegetables. Theres no issues. Parking: Good parking for pick up or dining.

Stay away from this pizza nova, every time i order from here the food takes forever to be delivered and it is always cold. Terrible customer service too.

This pizza Nova location like most pizza Nova location has an open concept kitchen. I was picking up my order today evening and another customer was present while I was here at this pizza Nova location. This customer noticed a pizza Nova employee drop a pizza oven spatula on the ground AND NOT clean it after dropping it on the ground AND eventually used it to move pizza in the pizza oven with the spatula he dropped and didn t clean WOW! the customer that was with me called it out to another pizza Nova employee. They didn t seem to care like us pizza lovers/pizza Nova customers the employee who dropped the spatula didn t even say sorry or anything at all. No reaction. Turned his back and continued on how can you not say anything we are customers of yours because of us you guys get paid I couldn t believe this and I stayed there while the customer was complaining about this incident. The employee who dropped the spatula and didn t wash it, would you let your kids, your parents, your in-laws eat here again?! Very selfish act. I understand mistakes happen everywhere. But make it RIGHT! Correct the mistake don t continue with the mistake and pretend all is well especially when you are working in an OPEN CONCEPT KITCHEN WHERE WE ALL CAN SEE?! I will report this to pizza Nova head office. This is unacceptable. I will not return to this pizza Nova location. It s funny how you guys keep away all the salt, Parmesan, crushed chilli-pepper,etc away from customers but don t clean up after dropping a pizza oven spatula lol. Disgusting. This real virus is in the mind. I m never coming back here. Even if all other pizza Nova locations were closed. You lost my trust. Who knows what else is dropped and not washed at all huge violation.

Good place ; quality food ; nice management.

Ordered 1.5hr ahead online. Got there 5 minutes before pickup time and got a cold pizza, went back to work and they got my toppings wrong, instead of bruschetta I got broccoli . Never had such a bad experience from a pizza nova before. I d avoid this location.

Absolutely terrible service and the woman with the glasses (not sure if she is the manager) has a HORRIBLE attitude. I ordered a pizza, 10 wings and 2 dips, and for some reason she was just upset at me from the moment i was placing my order? Not sure why - i literally was just standing there. After i placed my order, She said it ll be ready in 20 minutes. I came back 40 minutes later and it still wasn t ready. Honesty I didn t mind, so i just waited in the store. She saw me waiting and then told me in 2 minutes it ll be ready, but at that point i was waiting for almost an extra half hour. I dont like giving people who work in restaurant joints a hard time, but Why lie? When she saw me waiting for so long, she started to get visibly upset at ME for some reason? Why? because i was waiting in the store for my order to be ready? And on top of that, they forgot my wings and when i asked her, she completely forgot my order and became even more upset? Not sure why her attitude was so rude. In the end, they rushed out both the wings and pizza, which were actually not even close to being ready clearly. BOTH PIZZA AND WINGS WERE TERRIBLE AND LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE COOKED BY A CHILD. I ate 2 slices and threw it all out. They didn t even give me the 2 dips i paid for, so I essentially got stolen from. I will never, EVER go back to this location, even if it is the last pizza nova on Earth. And also because of the poor quality, i will think twice before deciding to eat at any pizza nova again.

Pizza delivery guy was very lazy and parked on the sidewalk ( which is illegal) when confronted he was verbally abusive.

Paid $20 with delivery and fees for a small veggie pizza. It took over an hour to get to us (5 mins away) and it was as bland as it could be. The sauce has next to no taste

Great place but during our last visit we were surprised by poor service.

The food was good. Not great but good. Place was almost empty. Still had to wait a long time for waiter to checkup on us. Sat for 10 minutes after finishing meal waiting for someone to come. Surprising because we were the only people in the restaurant.

The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The menu is updated often so there is always something new to try. The desserts are fantastic - especially the carrot cake and tiramisu which are made in-house. There pizza is the best in Toronto!

Since the renovation the owners have attempted to appeal to a more upscale crowd. The portions and quantity suffered with the change in ownership. The laminate flooring makes the place noisier than before. The food is ok, but you could do better for the same money elsewhere. I have been coming here since the place opened in the 1960s. Its more a case of nostalgia for my family. Thank goodness Vesey still works there. Shes the one thing that keeps us coming.

Good food, pricing is what you would expect. Clean place and fairly new looking inside. Tables are not on top of each other like some places. Free parking, summertime a tiny patio. Staff are pleasant, good service. Never had an issue here yet and the food is always good. Easy access off of Lawrence. Definitely go back again.

Came to the restaurant with friends, I guess I should ve read the review before coming here. It s a very interesting restaurant in a sense where it s connected to Pizza Nova. So decent pizza is a given, unfortunately I ordered pasta. The lobster fettuccine was blend, while the lobster tail was too salty. But the ravioli was horrendous, it tasted like feet. So I wouldn t recommend any to anyone. The reason for 3 star was our waitress was very nice and very attentive. So for service, I do give her some credit. But in terms of food, stay away from the pasta.

Horrible service!!!!!

They should not allow UBER drivers to use the disabled washroom on the main floor. They have washrooms in the basement for them to make their mess. My wheelchair bound Mom shouldnt have to put up with that. We have out this in the suggestion box countless times but they dont do anything about it. Put a key lock on the disabled washroom door and make able bodied people use the stairs.

Excellent italian food, and super service. The server is not in your face and also not nowhere to be found. Great decor as well. I will definitely frequent this restaurant!

Started ordering their takeout last week while stuck at home , their penne vodka is amazing, as well as the meatballs. Highly recommend for delicious rich Italian comfort food in Scarborough.

The food was alright the place is nice just didnt like the service.

I was extremely happy at this restaurant because I was able to create my own pasta. The food was great and the bread was warmed!!

the food was good but the prices are wayyy too high!! didnt realize they are Pizza Nova. too pricy. i ordered the zucchini pasta which was very tasty but they use miniature scrimp (1/2 !!) for $17!! my boyfriend had the meat spaghetti, none of us liked it. my son had the penne a la vodka which was good but also $17!!

The food is great, the decor is lovely but the staff is what makes it the best! The food in the restaurant is very different from what is offered in the fast food menu. They have standard Italian offerings like pasta and pizza and seasonal specials which are usually very good. The patio is very nice in the summer.

Tasted fair and fresh. Got garlic bread even though through delivery to accompany chicken parm .that was a nice touch!. Ordered pasta al forno and mozeralla garlic bread. Good portion.

This place serves the most amazing and authentic pasta I have ever tried. Ravioli Rosé is a must try! I had been longing for having some great spinach ravioli and had my luck at this place. Recommended for anyone looking for some amazing Italian food in neighbourhood. Economical as well!

What a travesty, just picked up 3 sandwiches for my co workers from nova ristorante assuming I would get food from them but turns out your food comes from pizza nova. My porcetta and their meatball sandwhiches were nothing short of dog food. I actually grabbed the bun for my sandwich and squeezed out almost a cup of oil from it, disgusting. False advertising at its best so if your pet is hungry feel free to take them there but I d even advise against that

Service is terrible. Stood there for 40 minutes waiting for pasta. The kitchen staff were not wearing masks properly or gloves. The cashier decided to have a five minute conversation with her coworker with half of my order in her hand before handing off to me after waiting 40 minutes fir the food (they told us it would be twenty minutes for food to be ready on the phone). Got home and realized the pasta was missing mushrooms which I had added and paid for. Called to get a refund for the missing items and the cashier put me on hold for ten minutes and then hung up. When I called back she said the reason she hung up on me is because it was too busy. I asked her to refund the item and she said she needs the owners permission to do this. Then proceeded to hang up again. If I good give minus 5 stars I would! 0 stars is too good of a rating for this place.

Amazing! Great atmosphere, delicoius food from an Italy and European trained shef, great prices (including wine with generous portions at a great price). We love their seafood pasta, mussels, and cesear salad. We often come here for date night. The servers are very nice too!

Had a group of 26 for a Christmas get together and everyone was extremely happy with the food and the service. Thank you to Nova for being the gem it is in Scarborough

I had the Tuscan pesto. It had penne noodles with chicken, artichokes, red peppers and goat cheese. Flavour was Amazing! Noodles were a little too aldente for me. Service was average. Overall good experience.

This is my favourite Italian restaurant in the GTA. The service is always top notch & the food is always on point. It s a good restaurant when you want good food & a nice ambiance without breaking the bank. Me & my husband like to go there from time to time for date night and we still go even though we moved further west. It is worth the trip! Their ravioli of the day is always good and that s what I always go for It s always a nice surprise & worth every dollar. Last time we went Delle was our server & she was great. Made some jokes with my husband which he loves & the service was fast & efficient but we always had enough time to eat in between service. I highly recommend this place and I know I will try to come more this year because we didn t go for a while & when we did the food was excellent & made me remember why I love this place so much!

Too many hala food, most meat pastas are halal

The service was a little slow from the start, from waiting to be seated in a basically empty restruant to our server not knowing the daily specials.. everyone who worked there seemed like they were 50+years old.. my friend was served a small meat pizza when we ordered the small meat lasagna, when we told the our server the order was wrong she made us feel guilty and insisted that we ordered the pizza. She took it back and we got the lasagna pretty quickly. Which was nice, but I could have been handled in a more polite manner. The food was pretty tasty and well priced.

I came here last week and I loved it. Staff is friendly, the service is great, and the food is amazing! Best Italian restaurant in the city.

Came here two days ago, my first time since it was renovated and renamed. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The menu was extensive and the food was delicious. I had the NY Strip and the meat was tender and flavorful. For dessert I had Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake, which was also flavorful, nice, moist and not overly sweet. The staff is very friendly, and the owner whom I know, comes around to ask how everything is and tries to answer any concerns. This is a great place to go to and eat.

One of the original pizza nova locations. Now turned into a sit down Italian resto. Stick with what they do best - the pizzas. The more daring dishes are often not successful. Long time staff are making it a welcoming location

Stick to the pizza it s what they do best The atmosphere is great, service is great, the restaurant is clean, but the food quality wasn t the best. My partner didn t enjoy her meal to the point where she actually sent it back for something else because she couldn t eat it which is something she never does ever.

Restaurant was recently renovated and it looks great. The service was really good. Good for the family dining. Pizza is not mind blowing, but fresh and tasty. Prices are pretty good too.

Basically supposed to be an upscale version of Pizza Nova but I found it to be nothing special regarding our takeout order. The sandwiches were okay but my colleagues said their pasta dishes were awful. At the prices we paid I cannot recommend them at all.

I used to love coming here. Not going to go into detail but the service and atmosphere has gone down tremendously. This is after multiple visits leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. Wont be coming back.

Went to a 50th Birthday party at Nova Restaurant on Sunday. The food was delicious, a generous tasty plate, served hot (not an easy feat with 50 + people) and full of flavour. Al Dente Pasta with red sauce, Lamb and Chicken, with mashed potatoes,carrots and broccoli. The restaurant is clean, tidy and well situated with plenty of parking. The wait staff, the manager and the kitchen staff were friendly, happy and very nice to us. We are going back very soon !!!

Never realized that this was just around the corner! Very cool history and great patio! Food was good too! Love that they have a grilled calamari option. Pasta and chicken parm were really good!

We have gone to this restaurant for many years, back to when it was plain old Pizza Nova. Generally very good service and reasonably priced dishes. Since the change to Nova Ristorante the mains have been updated to a more modern selection. They can take larger groups. Noise level is fine. Vegetarians would probably be okay here with the pizza or salad. On this visit I had the Tuscan Pesto and A had the Chicken a la Nova. The Tuscan Pesto is a combo of pasta, chicken, artichoke and red peppers. My only issue was that the chicken seemed a touch rubbery, Serving size was good. (4/5) $15 A had the Chicken a la Nova. Grilled chicken with roast potatoes and vegetables. She gave it 5/5 on taste and serving size. $19 The whole wheat buns before dinner were served warm. We both enjoyed them. 5/5 We didnt have dessert (no room after those dinners) I had a cappuccino which was really good. A had a latte but was disappointed and wished that she had had the cappuccino as well. Server was good (Delle I think) With the entrees, a 9oz wine, a beer and coffees, tip it was just over $70. If you stick to the pizza (which is good) you can keep it down to $40 (for 2)

I have been here multiple times - and walked out very satisfied. Now, We just walked out without ordering. The Menu did Not show prices. We had to ask the server the prices of items we thought of ordering, she had to check the order computer. (IN SHORT) $28.00 for a meat lovers medium 14 inch was way to high -- The Prices were not posted on the menu because they were WAY TO HIGH. THE THREE OF US were the only ones inside. And we left... (Seriously). No Prices On Menu in a Pizzeria ????? IT IS NOT A HIGH ENOUGH LEVEL OF AN ESTABLISHMENT -- For prices on the menu. No No No !!!!!

Not so glorified reliable pizza joint been around forever. Food is tasty and predictable. Tess (sp?) the waitress is like a fixture here and well worth a visit here if only to encounter her. She is a character and doesnt slow with age.

We held a retirement party at Nova Ristorante on June 1, 2018 and had over 50 guests. The food and the service were outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had met with staff prior to the party to sort out some details and were very happy with the reception that we received and with their knowledge. Everyone raved about the restaurant, and the food, which was still hot when it arrived at the tables. I can assure you, that no one left disappointed. We would definitely return here, whether for another party or with family. Thank you, Veronica, Dawn, Stuart, and (cant remember the young ladys name) for all of your professional, friendly service. We had a blast!!!

Wonderful service, went for Valentines day and the restaurant was understandably busy but the waiter kept us informed as the night went on. Portions were large and filling and priced well. Definitely recommend for a nice, but casual dining experience

Absolutely amazing! The food is excellent and the staff is super professional and friendly. My dad dropped on the floor a personal envelope that contained a large amount of cash and our server found it and handed it to the manager immediately. We were extremely shocked when we called the restaurant back the next day and the manager told us they found the envelope and were very happy to return it. Super honest and friendly staff!!!! This is one of my favorite places to eat. I m not from Scarborough but anytime I am in town I beg my friend to go with me. The rose sauce is insanely good, the waiters are decent, but there is one named Delle who is exceptional. She is quick and knows her stuff about the menu, prices and drinks. on top of the good service she has amazingly good humor and jokes. I get penne al a vodka with a side of dad jokes when she s serving. Talk about one upping your job. She goes above and beyond. Vessy is amazing as well. Without these two I think the store would be less than what it is so I hope the owners realize that.

Food was a 5 out of 10.

Staff was pleasant and the food was better than expected. Atmosphere was really relaxed and had a good mix people from young to mature. Plate presentation could be a little better.

Loved my experience at Nova! They were promoting a culinary tour and had complimentary spaghetti tasting. The chef made variations of spaghetti and even explained the process and answered questions. We made reservations for 4, but ended up being a table of 5. The hostess was very accommodating. Our waiter, Spencer, was very friendly and helpful. He constantly updated us on the status of our food and often asked us how we were doing throughout our visit. The quality of food was very good. Everything came hot and my entree, the pork medallions, were the highlight - not too salty and just the right amount of flavour. The mashed potatoes it came with were kind of bland though. Other than that, everything about my visit was great! Prices for entrees are also worth what you get. I will be coming back to try their pasta!

This place is as fresh as you can get in the area! The food is always outstanding, perfectly cooked and hot every time I come here. Add to that the fact that the place is always clean and comforting, and the staff are very friendly and youve got a pretty perfect neighbourhood restaurant.

Came here with a friend after finding out Pizza Nova has an actual restaurant. Everything we ate tasted excellent, was well seasoned, and very filling. I ordered a steak sandwich without the bun and a Mediterranean salad, which was awesome. The patio area offers a pleasant outdoor experience despite being in a parking lot. I will definitely come here again. If enjoy Pizza Nova, you definitely want to check this restaurant out.
