The pizza here is great, and the takeout service is quick, but the business itself is unreliable. You never know when they’ll be open. Just yesterday, they were closed unexpectedly, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened. It’s frustrating when a place you like randomly closes without warning. A business needs to be reliable, so customers know they can count on it. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here anymore.
This place is a regular spot for me, and it never disappoints. The owner is real Italian, and makes everything to order down to the minute of when you're expecting to eat! The wood oven produces the greatest chew in the crust. Pancetta e patate is something worth trying, the rosemary oil on top is beautiful. The quattro formaggi is very indulgent and gorgonzola-forward, wonderful if that's your type of pizza (it is for me!). The olives that come when you dine in are really beautiful too. Wish they had an app or two on the menu or something to share in a group.
An absolute neighbourhood gem! I've had takeout a few times but last night was the first eating in- in addition to the great pizza there was a lovely chianti and a great atmosphere. Perfect for a date! The pizza is the best authentic Italian style I've had outside of downtown (I actually think it's the best in the city). Not North American style so if you want pepperoni or a thicker crust it's probably not the place.

I grabbed pizza and tiramisu for take out. The pizza was really delicious. 5 star for taste but I found the price a little high compared to options downtown hence 4 stars on the food rating. I loved the atmosphere when I walked in. Would be a great date night location. The tiramisu was good but I have also had better elsewhere. Given the price point, I also give the tiramisu 4 stars. Overall, still the best pizza joint for the neighborhood and I will likely be returning in the future to try the in restaurant experience!

Best pizza in Toronto I would say it reminds me of going to my husbands home town in Northern Italy in the mountains for pizza....so authentic and delish...having it tonight as a matter of fact!!!!!

Summary: A very okay pizza that cost waaaay too much. I came here with a friend for some dinner. It wasnt too busy and we got sat immediately. We ordered some drinks - which, sidenote: $5 for a CAN of Coke? Seriously? Anyway, we ordered drinks - which to their credit, were good - and then put an order for a very simple pizza to share between the two of us. We got the pizza pretty quick and it was just...soggy. The cheese and (I guess the sauce) were very watery and I guess that sogged up the middle to the point where while Im trying to cut up the pizza (they dont cut it for you btw), the toppings are just dragging off the pizza. And flavour was so basic. To the point where my friend had one slice and was like You finish the rest. Ill get food from somewhere else. And to top it all off: The pizza was $23. $23 for a basic, one topping, uncut, wet-as-a-noddle pizza. I will say: The service was good. The waiter was really attentive and welcoming. Overall, I had such high hopes for this place because of the rating and the fact that they plaster that theyve been around since 2004, but it was just so....meh for such an extravagantly priced pizza. Wont visit again.
Just driving by and stopped to get a pizza, what a surprise. Amazing pizza. I would say one of the best I tasted. I will say it is on top of my list as the best pizza place in GTA.
They have good pizza but wish they would get their act together. They are always putting random signs on the door and closeing You roll the dice going here if they will be open or closed. This is the third and last time I will try this restaurant

I cannot believe how good this pizza is. I was so hungry and this place was in front of me and gave it a shot. I dont know how I was eating garbage at reginos or pizza pizza. This pizza is so perfect. I even feel good after I eat it. It is as authentic as you get and by far the best in the city.
We came on Friday night. We ordered the Prusciutto E Funghi and Peperonata. So delicious, I could have eaten their entire menu. It is the perfect balance of flavours. The service is friendly and attentive. I m surprised this place isn t packed or has a line outside the door on a Friday night. You gotta eat here!

First time at Pizza Rustico. Oh my gosh so good. The wood oven pizza was absolutely delicious. We order the margarita and the divola. They staff were so friendly. I enjoyed chatting with the young woman who took my order and I walked to the back prep area and chatted with the guy making my pizza. Again so friendly. We spoke about Italy while the pizza dough was flying. Parking: Parking on street in front of shop

Perfect ambiance, so homey and pretty. Great fresh pizza, thin with a satisfying chew, I personally as a absolute monster for dairy will ask to pay for more cheese on my anchovy pizza next time but its perfection as is! Fab service too. Great cheap and cheery spot! Retro and rustic...oh decor, delicious authentic pizza and smiling staff. What more can you ask for? Vegetarian options: A couple non-meat options for vegetarians but hard to avoid cheese if you are looking for vegan. Kid-friendliness: What kid doesnt love pizza and a relaxed atmosphere? :) Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and open entrance and dining area. (Didnt check the washroom)
The best Neapolitan pizza I ve ever had. Perfect crust. Best to dine in, as once it s in a box the crust softens and it s not the same as fresh out of the oven.

Ran in to get take out but decided to eat-in instead as the place felt so quaint. Very clean & you could watch them make the pizza behind the counter. Even the bathroom was spotless - not the norm in Toronto! Pizza was great and very large portions! Parking: parked on the street, but very easy to find..

Popped in the first night it opened. Can t say enough about how good the stone baked pizza tasted. I had the lasagna pizza. The atmosphere is really welcoming and bright. Will be out new pizza spot.

We love supporting our local restaurants but were sadly disappointed with our meal. We ordered takeout so not the best way to eat stone oven pizza but it was small, basic and over priced. We were really excited to try the chocolate tiramisu and it was just ok.
Have been twice already! Pizza great, perfect beverage pairings, dessert yummy, and warm and friendly staff!

We were so excited to support a local restaurant, but we were completely disappointed with our experience here. We waited almost one hour for two pizzas, only to be told that it would be another 20 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up having to leave without any food, but were still charged for the wine that we didn t even finish because we were waiting for our food to arrive. They are definitely prioritizing take out orders over their in-house customers, which is a real shame. I ll wait to see reviews indicating that their service model has improved before chancing it here again.
An authentic Italian pizzeria in the neighbourhood with good service and a charming atmosphere. My husband (who is Italian) enjoyed the Quattro S declaring it the real deal . The accompanying vino also accompanied nicely as did the delicious Tiramisù. Hoping for a GF option so I may also enjoy these fabulous wood oven pizzas!
