First time here 2 days ago and was so impressed. Everything was very fresh and tasty and portion size is great. This is one of the best kebab spots in the whole GTA. You can see the amount of time and effort they put into having such good quality food. Will be a regular spot for us now. Note to the person who gave a bad review about a month ago and was complaining that they bought a $40 platter with bad portion sizes etc... YOU have the WRONG restaurant. This place does not have a $40 platter and they are not cheap at all with the portion sizes. You should make sure you have the right restaurant before giving any reviews. Overall 10/10 for Aliz Restaurant
This is hands down the best restaurant you can go to in Toronto. The prices are worth the quality and quantity you get. The staffs there are very humble and the food is delicious, I am sure it'll make you keep going again and again. Myself, I have visited the place for the fifth time in these two months. It's a gem of a restaurant. And for the beef lovers, you need to try their koobideh kebab, you'll fall in love right away. This is the best beef I have tried in Toronto. I have tried all their dishes and I gotta say, the meats are so tender and juicy. When asked they said that, their meat is procured fresh everyday and hence the taste. Humble staffs will lighten up your day. People don't miss this place. I am giving this review because of the good vibe the restaurant gave me. Don't be shocked if you see me there eating when you pay a visit. 😉

The best kebab’s I ve tasted in GTA and probably the juiciest beef you can get. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try Persian cuisine. The quantity of the food is very well for the money we pay. Special mention about the owner, he is the kindest I ve ever seen and patiently handles everything.
Came here on a whim, first time at this restaurant and location. Enough seating for a medium size group, but what they may lack in space they truly excel in food and service, which is why you go to places like this anyways. I had many questions and had a bit of trouble figuring out exactly what I wanted but Reza was super helpful and we got exactly what we wanted and MORE! Truly put their hearts into something as simple as a last minute dinner. You can't beat that! 5 STARS all around! Food was definitely top tier for us.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. There was a lot of food and all of it was good. The meat was grilled to perfection and everything tasted so good and balanced/complimented to each other. I only wish I had more dressing on my salad but everything was great! Also, the owners are super friendly and always checking in to make sure you are okay and the food is the way you like it. I could ask for a better experience. If you are considering going here, do yourself a favour and dine-in and experience the great service and the excellent portion sizes (that won't fit in a to-go container)!
Very delicious and healthy food which taste like mummy’s food. Uzbaki polo has a very great taste and price is very good. The kebabs are very delicious and the portion of the food is very large as well. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

Went here for the first time, such a nice guy taking the order and the food was so delicious and good ! Price was great too and worth it! We paid $40 for this platter and they gave us so much rice and such little chicken and such little beef. These portions are so bad. I don t know why anybody would go to this place this place sucks don t go here Not to mention the rice was barely seasoned. It was plain white rice garbage place.

Food quality is absolutely good. Cooking style and the taste of the food is way better than any other Afghan cousin in Toronto and very close to watani food. The only problem is thier location. They should find a better location to get more attention.

Fresh , clean and delicious
Ordered takeout through Uber Eats and was thoroughly impressed with the presentation and packaging. The Zereshk Polo and chicken leg kabob were tender and delicious. Rice was a nice combination of saffron and barberries although there was too much we couldn t finish it. We definitely want to come to the restaurant to try the other dishes next time. I got takeout. The ghormeh sabzi was good but was abit greasy. I was not a huge fan of fan of the Uzbeki Palau. It tasted very dry.

Felt like Kabob after work. First one that showed up nearby. Glad I went, because this is a great establishment with a nice atmosphere. Price is more than reasonable considering their portion sizes. As for the food best kabob meal I ve had in a long time. Great food. Will be back.

Really great food that I ve tried on different occasions. All types of chicken dishes were good, the breast, the tandoori and the leg. Portions are pretty big also which is nice.

Good price, delicious foods
I went here with my wife as we are big fans of middle eastern food, especially Turkish, Persian and Afghan cuisine. I had the #6 Vaziri Kabob and my wife had the #3 Chicken Leg Kabob, we both enjoyed our food a-lot as it was flavourful and cooked perfectly. The portions are huge maybe too big as the rice per person was enough to feed 3 people easily. The pricing is very reasonable and we plan to return here in the future, thank you Aliz for a great experience!

What a Great Experience on New Years Eve Aliz entire team deserves a Standing Ovation for their delicious food, Love, Respect & Humbleness towards their customers. My wife ordered her favourite Chicken tikka & beef kobidah Skewer and They sent an extra skewer to show their love for their regular customers.. I must say this restaurant should be the Gold Standard For all the restaurants in the GTA.. I was in the area and it was nearing 11pm and I realized I hadnt eaten supper. Thinking that Id hafta settle for McDs or something I checked on maps and I saw it on the map and thought to myself -- 4.9? Is it possible for a place to have a 4.9? And its open this late? -- Let me say that its not only possible but this place should have a perfect 5.0! I loved the food. Absolutely fantastic, delicious, filling, Im stuffed. I feel great. I love this place.

I haven t had a culinary experience this good since my time in Mashhad. The moment I walked in, I felt like I had entered a different world a world filled with warm, inviting vibes and absolutely amazing food. The staff were so attentive and warm, making the whole dining experience feel like I was among friends. Each dish was prepared to perfection, combining flavors and textures that reminded me so much of home. Thank you, Aliz Restaurant, for bringing this much-needed authenticity to the area. Dont know where to start from the taste of the food or the quality of the meat or the best customer service this one i must say meets all. Place is clean owners are very friendly and kind. the atmoshphere is very welcoming....now for the food you can tell right away the quailty is so fresh and tasty. The flavors are all mixed in so perfectly it doesnt get any better. He bbqs on charcoal right infront of you this isnt a come pick up and leave after sitting cold and reheated this is the REAL FRESH. Price is super cheap for the quality and quantity you are getting love this place i highly recommend!

One of the best kabobs Ive had. There are many Afghan restaurants around now but if you want real authentic Afghan food this is the place to go. Make sure you try the tandoori chicken.

The meat I ate from here was beef kebab and chicken kebab and chicken chunk pieces and it was absolutely juicy and perfect. The rice that was served was plain and I would like if it was broth or flavored rice, they give the sauce bottles so you can use how much you want if you dine in which I did.
Everything on the plate was so good and so fresh!! Service was friendly and kind, they make you feel so welcome, the place was super clean and bright as well. Making this my weekly spot now. Thank you guys for opening a yummy place!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering on Uber eats from this Iranian restaurant, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. Despite it being my first visit, I can confidently give it a well-deserved 5-star rating. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Lamb Shank, and the Uzbiki Pulao was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were rich, authentic, and a true delight for the palate. The meat was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the generous quantity of their dishes. I can confidently say that they offer some of the most generous portions in Toronto. You wont leave here hungry, thats for sure!

Lawrence and Warden have a few delightful Afghan and Persian resto, and Aliz is one of the best if not the best. The kabobs are grilled just right, moist and juicy. The Uzbeki pulao is amazing and always a party favorite. You can tell from the quality and taste how much thought, care and passion Chef Aliz, Reza and bros put into each food they serve. We have been coming here and have become our family s and friends most requested food.
