Chinese BBQ
2024 September 4★ A popular BBQ spot in the area. Expect this place to be busy on weekends and holiday evenings. About 13 tables with seating for about 40. Each skewer ranges from $6 to $9 and there are usually at least 4 skewers, generally, most have about 6-8 skewers. On average, it's just over $1.25 per skewer. B2 羊肉串 (6pc) 6.95 Lean Lamb B8 麻椒肥牛 (6pcs) 6.95 Beef with Pepper of Sichuan - very good. Would recommend. S1 炸蘑菇 Deep Fried Mushroom 7.95 S2 焙冷面 Grill Chinese Cold. Noodle Roll 7.95 - not bad. Egg wrapped noodle. C3 尖椒肥肠串 (4pc) 6.95 Pork Intestine w Green Pepper - crispy and soft. C9 指小腰 (8pc) 6.95 pork kidney E2 鸡胆小串 (6pc) 6.95 Chicken Kidney H1 疙洁汤 9.95 Dough Drop Soup - dough in a tomato based soup. Would pass next time. B11 一把牛小粳 (香筑) (8pc)7.95 spicy lean beef - it's ok. Get the other beef instead. C1 双制五花肉 (6pc) 6.95 Pork Belly - not bad. Flavors are decent overall. Flavorful. Smoky and a bit spicy. Though you can ask to make it more spicy or just get it on the side. Good amount of parking. Good value. Not overly priced.
The 3 stars are for the food because they are good, I love the home style Liang pi, 2 stars taken away because of the service. We asked to get the bill twice and ending up having to walk all the way to the front to pay. We understand it was busy so we waited and reminded the server we need our bill, then she walked away but coming back doing something else, like clearing off table. We gave her cues like making eye contacts after asking for the bill twice. She looked us and ignored it.
Good place for Chinese northern BBQ. They are very busy, inside is cozy. Good place for having some Bbq . Price is very reasonable compared to other bbq restaurants. Service is friendly and quick. Very live vibe for late night hangouts with friends
Pretty decent barbecue place with decent pricing. My favourite dish we tried that night was actually the cucumber salad, ended up ordering two because it was so good.
Really great skewers! Amazing flavour and not dry. We loved the flavour and crisp of the potatoes, but they are quite oily. Of course the fried buns with condensed milk are delicious. The staff here are super nice too. Overall: 4/5
This place is FIRE, easiest 5/5. Came here ~9PM on a Saturday and was seated immediately in a packed restaurant. We ordered 6 dishes which ended up being too much for two people. My favourites: spicy chicken cartilage with peanut and lotus root, garlic scallops on shell and lean & fatty beef skewers - but all were good. Each item was perfectly seasoned (not under or over). Perhaps what was most remarkable was the incredible service we received from this unassuming spot; our server was proficient in multiple languages (including English), gave great recommendations, was fast, courteous and efficient, and even offered to pack our leftovers. I highly recommend this restaurant and I I can’t wait to visit again! NOTE: cash and debit only!
Really good skewers for a really really good price! Only $6/7 for 6 lamb skewers We also ordered the pork belly skewers and we all liked that one a lot! For sides we got the fried buns with condensed milk (always delicious,) enoki mushrooms and eggplant with their garlic sauce Total was around $52 + tip for 3 of us Overall delicious and affordable!
Went there before 6pm at the Saturday night, there are almost fully packed with people at that time. Fast and friendly service, food is always excellent authentic and flavourful. We have been there many times from past 10 years. Even to travel from Mississauga to there just for Gala BBQ. Definitely a favourite place of Chinese BBQ for my family. Please make a reservation before you go. They accept reservations for 4people and up.
I always order takeout and the food and flavour is always so good. One of my favourite bbq places.
Authentic
Very yummy food
I strongly praise the guy with yellow hair and glasses in the store for his very good service attitude! Especially since we were sitting near the dining entrance, it was even more obvious. This young man with yellow hair was always busy. He felt like he could walk more than 20,000 steps after work in one day. I really felt that every industry is very hard. And most of the dishes taste very good. The only drawback is that the mutton skewers and roasted potatoes are a little bit old. I hope the store can improve it~
The cold noodles are so delicious! The service is also very good! The price is very reasonable! ! Great value! ! !
It tastes so good. I like skewers. Parking: Small
best cold noodles i ever had. bbq beef is on top
My favorite barbecue restaurant come here every now and then
Roast beef is delicious
The taste has completely changed. Its very salty and sour. Its not delicious.
The food here is delicious, but I saw a guy wearing glasses with a very bad service attitude, which was very annoying. I don t know if it s because he s too busy, but I also saw him yelling at other waiters fiercely...
Lightning protection! Extremely bad attitude! They dont welcome 2 or less people to dine there! White Eyed Wolf Restaurant! It was past 9pm and there was an empty table at the window booth. It was empty, but the waiter said they wouldn t take it! Because there were only two of me, the table was not given to me even if it was empty. After filling out the form, go outside and wait for a call! The attitude is also very bad. It probably means that if there are more people than me coming later, others should be given priority! There are many good barbecue restaurants in Toronto. Whether you like this business or not, I won t like to come here either! Tell your friends not to come!
Food is great, one of my favorite place to go , air conditioner and ventilation system need to be improved for the summer and suggestions for having ice along with all your drinks would have a better experience for drinking
Zero
The male waiter wearing glasses at the front desk has a really bad attitude. He rolls his eyes while answering the phone. If you don t want to go to work, you don t have to come.
We were not satisfied with the fried potato cubes, so after giving feedback to the waitress, she actually made a new one for us! Very crispy this time!
Loved it! Especially the fried mushrooms and meats were all great! Less salty than other places and food came quickly. 10% off for cash as well. Only thing is i wish they had more drink options but it was still great and i would come back!
A very good experience, the food was very delicious and the portions were large.
Had no issues eating here. For the people that said service was bad I had no such issues. Must be the customer problem . Food
Food was great! Wait time is also fast. The place is quite small though so you will have to wait during peak hours.
the eggplant was burned so badly of the skin I dont eat the skin but it taste bitter inside the meat because of the burned skin
Best Chinese BBQ in Toronto
A very delicious kebab shop and very cost-effective. I have been here several times. Highly recommended. Roast pig trotters is my favorite Parking: Parking is very convenient
The short male waiter wearing glasses has a terrible attitude and will never come back again.
There is a waiter whose attitude is so annoying! What about being an uncle?
The service is very good, and the barbecue menu is very comprehensive. I recommend the soy sauce tendons, pot-wrapped pork and big noodles.
There are not many parking spaces, so I had to wait for an hour. The skewers are ok, and the pot meat is a bit tough. The price is good, recommended.
The chicken wings are the best in the whole place, the fried instant noodles are a bit disappointing
The best Chinese barbecue I have tried so far in Toronto. Loved the flavour and tenderness of the beef.
Great food , great staff
Have eaten here many times, very delicious! The chicken rack is a must-order every time. It would be better if there is a non-spicy and garlic-flavored chicken rack!
Overall Best Chinese BBQ, #1 pick if I am in the area
Delicious but average service
The foods and prices are good, but the owner and the teen server was so rude. I asked them to help to stir food(liangpi)for me, but the owner argued with me( I didn t say anything, just listen to the owner..) they didn t get any training about how to stir food, customers should done by themselves, plus the owner said they can do heat the meat service but not do what you requested!
I ordered grilled skewers, pot-roasted pork, and pimple soup. They all tasted good and not bad.
Very tasty! The portion is not small either
Cant do reservations, which is too bad, but the food is actually good!
Taste good. Make sure you bring lots of CASH, as they don t accept credit card.
Delicious food and friendly staffs! Will visit again!
BBQ: 1/5. Its about the sauce brushed onto the meat. Their sauce lacks flavor (more of a sweet taste), meat lacks mass and fat, and doesnt come presented with a warming frame (skewers were cold after 2 minutes). Fried mushroom: 2/5. Its ok. Raw meat skewer: poor cuts of beef strips with a bowl of soy sauce. wth? Price: ok. reasonable. With the high standards of Chinese BBQ in Toronto, this one does not stand out.
I thought I had already reviewed it, but I didn t expect it yet. The store is really not big, but the service and barbecue atmosphere are really good. The price is not expensive. The pimple soup is my favorite. I have eaten here three times and it has a different feeling every time. It is crowded on Friday and Saturday. There were not many people there at 10 oclock on a Sunday night. There was no need to queue up. The service was fast and the service was enthusiastic. It made me feel that Haidilao is not an ordinary excellent barbecue restaurant. I hope to keep up the good work.
Short male waiter with glasses and bad attitude. Serving food or serving water is done by shaking or throwing. I will give you a tip and I don t owe you any money! I will never go there again!
BBQ! Eat barbecue every festive season!
recommend: Mixed vegetables (sweet and sour, slightly spicy, soothing and delicious) Northeastern fried rice noodles (the sesame sauce is very fragrant) Grilled solid eggs (reminds me of Northeastern grilled skewers) Dry Tofu Cilantro Rolls Old-fashioned pot-wrapped pork So-so: Spicy cabbage fried rice (nothing special, very salty) Tin foil enoki mushrooms (garlic smell is very strong and very salty) Northeastern cold noodles (not as delicious as Chosunya) Grilled cold noodles (not as delicious as the street stalls in Northeast China) Cooked tendons (a little salty)
The best Northeastern barbecue in Toronto, the cold noodles and pot-wrapped pork are very authentic. Ive been here countless times, the price is affordable and the service is great.
Nice chill out place, good food, good drinks friendly staff
Just average, mediocre and unremarkable
very delicious
Toronto is No. 1 and will not accept refutation.
Great value for money BBQ!
At first, they said there was another table in front of us and they might have to wait 40 minutes. After waiting for an hour, they said they would have to wait another half hour, but when we looked at it, we found that the table in front of us had already entered and there were people jumping in line. Then why dont you leave a phone number and call us if you have a seat? Youve already jumped in line.
That male waiter couldnt understand people and kept interrupting us? Negative review Lightning protection.
Ok food. A bit pricy
tasty! The best BBQ joint in Toronto! The grilled skewers, cold noodles and mixed vegetables are all delicious! The waiters attitude is also very good! Good! Delicious!
The food is served quickly and the service is good. Authentic and delicious! Recommended soy sauce tendons, raw skewers, grilled cold noodles, pork belly, fat intestines, Northeastern cold noodles, Best Chinese bbq in town!
got addicted to this restaurant recently! yummy food and great service!
Our favourites are the lamb chop skewers, lamb skewers, New Orleans chicken wings and the stir fried clams! We can t stop reaching out for the clams. The wings are so flavourful and tender. Beef skewers are a bit dry for our liking. Other things we ordered are good but not worth mentioning one by one. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
The lady boss is really enthusiastic and makes you feel warm!
Every time I go, the food is delicious and the service is great. Been a loyal fan for several years.
The service is quite satisfactory, but I, who is from Changchun, was misled by Northeastern Barbecue because I have never had barbecue in Shenyang and Harbin. I would like to remind you that except for beef and mutton, everything else in their barbecue is brushed with hot and sour sauce. So it tastes a bit sour, and it feels like the sauce really covers up the original taste of the ingredients, which is a pity.
The service attitude is very good. Help with packaging. You can tell them if it s not too salty or too sweet.
Gala BBQ is a fantastic BBQ restaurant that I highly recommend! The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, a five-star experience that is not to be missed.
The two kings of Toronto and the good brothers dominate again
delicious bbq food
Tastes good but waited too long
tasty!
tasty! Very authentic Northeastern (sweet) barbecue. It s been a long time since I ve tasted such sweet and sour Korean cold noodles. I was so impressed. Authentic northeast China bbq
Too salty and too much MSG, thirsty after the meal. And price is a bit fancy compared to the portion.
Vegetarian options: Yes Food
Always~~ so good!! Good service and good foooood
The best Chinese BBQ I have ever had in Canada. As someone who lived in China for several years, this tasted exactly like the dongbei shaokao I ate over there. Both my Chinese friend (visiting from USA) and I could not believe how much we ate because everything was top-notch. Being the only non-Chinese person in the restaurant, the Chinese menu and amazing food really brought back a lot of positive memories I had of China.
With this attitude, it feels like I owe her money
excellent skewers! Cold noodle is the best! I will absolutely go to Gala bbq again!
I ordered skewers, but they were not cooked an hour after I placed the order. I didn t want the skewers anymore. I wanted to pay and left, but the lady boss said that the skewers were being grilled and I couldn t take them away. . . I can only sit here and wait for him to finish baking. I am speechless.
Delicious food and good service. Recommend the cheese corn with a lot of cheese. I don t recommend the shredded pollack, it doesn t have much meat.
Will probably be my new goto Chinese bbq place. I m usually concerned when the Chinese bbq place over-season their skewers (way too salty). This place is just the right amount of seasoning. Reasonable prices with quality food. The deep fried spicy potatoes is the best I ve ever had. Friendly service. Expect a 30-60min wait when you visit during rush hours.
The takeaway I ordered was okay. There were quite a lot of people. The pimple soup and spicy and sour potato shreds were good. The kebabs were average.
Both the skewers and the cold noodles are delicious, but the oil for frying the fresh mushrooms really needs to be changed or filtered. It smells like ham and makes me feel sick all night after eating it
Serious health concerns felt awful shortly after the dinner and started throwing up. Asked for the spicy powder on the side because some of us cannot eat spicy skewers. Everyone who used this felt ill afterwards - not sure if they gave us the spicy powder that they were putting on the raw skewers while cooking or something like that.
Dietary restrictions:
Its well-deserved, its really delicious and has the taste of hometown. Didnt live up to the long queue. The cold noodles are very authentic, soy sauce tendons and pepper beef are also good
The taste of the skewers is okay, a bit sweet, but a little cold. Maybe its because its past 10 oclock and its quite late. The chicken feet are delicious and very spicy.
It tastes great but it is highly recommended to open at 3 oclock on weekends! ! ! (Opening at 4:00 a.m. on weekends is often crowded)
Very busy place and foods are great. Do expect a little bit wait to get seated. Place needs better ventilation otherwise I would give a 4 star
Dont go, you two. They will reserve seats for three or four guests who come later than you. They will also reserve seats for guests who make reservations an hour later. Anyway, they wont give seats to only two guests.
The dishes are all fresh, the seasoning is right and not too salty, and the service is also good. My favorite is beef short ribs and cold noodles. I always arrive at the door at four oclock to avoid the hassle of queuing.
The best BBQ in Toronto. Unlike most of BBQ restaurant to serve pre-fried skewers, Gala has fresh bbq skewers. The most important is they use quality meat, so they don t need to pre-fried. I also like the cold noodle, as it s tasted the same as what I had in the northeastern of China. The service is also good. The only downside is always having a long line. But that s the only thing you can t complaint, as a good restaurant always has a vvvery long line. ;)
Many choices of skewers
One of my favourite BBQ places
The food is delicious, but the environment is not that good. Is the smoke exhaust system broken? Or what? The whole environment was so smoky that we almost cried
Let s talk about the decoration first. It s like a restaurant that costs about 20 yuan per person. The service is like that of a food stall, not bad, but definitely not worth the per capita consumption. For barbecues at the same price, it is more recommended to go to No. 9 Small Courtyard. As for the food, some meats are hard to chew, and the seasonings are never on point. They are either bland or have a very strong taste. There are two things that are very good, 1. The food is served quickly, and 2. The portion is very generous
Food was good. The cold noodles was really really good! Waited almost an hour for a table on a Friday night.
Yummy!!!!!!!!!
One of the best Chinese BBQ in town, also has traditional entrees that go perfectly with the skewers. Would recommend! One of the best BBQs and lots of delicious side dishes! Wall crack recommended!
Food Poisoning!! Our family went to eat at 5 oclock last night. We ordered a Northeast cold noodle and a bunch of barbecue. We were very happy and the food was delicious. But when we got home and took a shower, we started to have a headache, dizziness and nausea, and lay down Sitting is not stable. It didnt take long before I started to vomit. After I vomited, I had to come back and start pulling Then my boyfriend vomited. It was too exaggerated. When will Toronto pay attention to food safety?
tasty!
The barbecue is delicious, you can order whatever you want! Cold noodles (if you are not used to them, you can ask the kitchen to cook them softer), mixed vegetables are a must, and there is also a chicken rack! The hygiene is relatively clean, the ingredients are fresh, charcoal grilled bbq, gala No.1
The best northern barbecue place in the town. Tasty, a lot of choices, and the most important thing: reasonable price. Tips for eating Chinese BBQ: regardless you can eat spicy or not, dont ask the chili power onside for dipping, unless you want to have some great bathroom time. Food
Food poisoning could taste the meat is not fresh and it was covered by seasoning. Service was bad when pay the bill, cashier is not helpful and not even try to find out how to apply Snaplii discount . Not recommending and will never go again
The best fried skewers restaurant in Toronto
Awesome!
My wife s favorite kebab shop during pregnancy, it s clean, hygienic and delicious!
Wall Crack Recommends Bacon Enoki Mushrooms
The kebabs are delicious, and parking is a test of your skills.
Cold noodles are available
GALA never misfires, glad I found this place. They have some really nice surprises like the dongbeinese cold noodles n salad options.
an absolute gem of Scarborough! loved their bean curd, lamb and beef skewers, can t pick one that s best. The dried tofu roll with cilantro is also incredibly delicious, overall very satisfied with everything I tried. The service was great and quick, must visit! Food
The most authentic Northeastern charcoal barbecue in Toronto, very delicious!
tasty
If you want to eat skewers, you must try it
I have ordered take-outs from them quite a few times. Food was overall tasty and I was lucky enough not coming across food safety issues as other mentioned from their posts; the middle-aged female waitress is always friendly (she might be the owner or manager). They would have otherwise winned 5 stars if only they can keep front desk better covered when some male-seemingly-nice waitor was (or pretended to be) busy talking on a died phone leaving some walk-ins in the middle of nowhere. (It just feels bizarre when you walk into a nonverbally different vibe of welcome zone) Friendly but strongly suggest to the owner: the nature of your business is in service serving others, and people can sense if the experience is positive or manipulatively played out. Next time recruiting waitor(s), youd better focus on some one with a caring heart. (It is a simple labor job. Every body can perform the hands-on part within a few hours training, but not every body has a caring personality, which is actually the key to being successful in serving industry. People most times choose a foodie place over other choices not because of their tasting buds but simply because of their experience of being taken care of. Therefore, youd better hire a genuine warm-hearted smile, not an actor. ) I and every body I know will have to stop coming to you from now on, based on what I encountered yesterday evening at the front desk with your male waitors creepy talking to an empty incoming phone, on top of the fact that I just noticed what others posted about your potential food safety questions which still have left unanswered. We believe we would probably possibly help you spread positive words for you down the road if the quality issues could be resolved and if your team could be truly able to provide genuine welcoming customer care in the future.
Long wait, food taste good though price is fine
Great value for money. I like raw meat.
It has to be this one There are a few new dishes recently, and they are quite delicious.
The best and must go BBQ in GTA!
This place was Awesome!!! The skewers were delicious and the flavoring of the skewers were top perfection, the atmosphere is cozy and brings some fall and autumn vibes and service was amazing with the skewers brought to us super fast and it was good too! I recommend
Very good
The owner and the teen server was so rude. There are plenty of resturant in the neighborhood, we definitely wont come back.
Very atmospheric and the salad is very tasty The small skewers are also good
Very quick, hospitable, and amazing service, very yummy food, good portions, and good price! Highly recommend! Basically, if you want some meat on a stick, this is the place to be.
The service was very good. On Saturday night, there were a lot of customers but the service was still very good. There are at least 3-4 waiters in a small shop. The skewers are a little thin but the other food tastes good. The cost per person is only 28$, including tax and tip, which is very cost-effective.
Not recommend for large group gathering. Some server are rude. Some food is ok.
The taste is very good and the service attitude is also very good
The service and the food were great! Especailly cold noddle! a must try!
Awesome food and service. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Had a great time dining here.
Their lamb skewers, sausages and pork belly is to die for. Amazing place for bbq. I have ordered at least 50 times from them lol they never disappoint. They are my favourite bbq place in Toronto.
The most authentic Tieling skewers, I am not from the Northeast but I heard my friends say so. Anyway, it s the number one skewer restaurant in Toronto in my opinion. I ve been here many times. You can order whatever you want from the entire menu and you won t be disappointed at all.
I went to this restaurant with a friend who never tasted Chinese BBQ before. She doesnt like it because of cumin, Which is the most common, or the essential ingredient in Chinese Dongbei BBQ. (definitely not the restaurants fault) Servers were friendly . We left quickly because we were tired after work. After we arrived home we found something on the list was not served. I called the restaurant and they paid me that dish with e trans. The food was overall okay for me, 5 star is mainly for service :) Thank you for being honest with the bill. Today I took a foreigner for dinner who has never had Northeastern barbecue. She didnt like it very much because she doesnt like cumin. Of course, this cannot be blamed on the restaurant. After all, there is no barbecue in the north that does not use cumin. The waiters were very friendly. We didnt stay long because we were pretty tired just after get off work. After I got home, I realized that I had ordered a dish but it wasnt served. Later, I called the restaurant, and they recognized me as a customer who had just come to eat. They admitted that we had left before they could prepare what we ordered, and they also gave me the price and tip for the dish that was not served. Forwarded to me. The food is okay for me. The five stars are mainly for the service. Thank you for transferring the money afterwards :)
My go to spot to treat myself after badminton. I think they have the best grill gluten in Toronto
Overall ok bbq place. The bbq skewers are relatively cheaper but also smaller compared with other bbq restaurants. I came with very high expectations as some posts I read online brag about them sooo much. The BBQ dishes taste ok but I won t rank them as top3 in my bbq place list. Some of the Korean like dishes are not my type, taste too sweet. I don t live nearby so probably won t come all the way back again.
Best Chinese BBQ in Toronto, not one of! Transitional Northern China taste, great food and service
You can order mutton skewers, soy sauce tendons, lamb chop skewers, and Northeastern cold noodles. They are fresh and delicious, and you won t make any mistakes. The king of kings, the grilled gluten-grilled eggplant was average, not very tasty, but not bad either. The price for two people after tax was 72 dollars, which was a lot to eat and packed a lot. The food was served quickly. The waiters and ladies were very beautiful and had great attitudes. Highly recommended!
The real barbecue place and taste good ( not deep fry)
Delicious, very delicious
The best Northeastern barbecue restaurant in Toronto! ! !
Too sweet Certain things are not fresh ( veggies tofu skins ) If you like sweet bbq , sweet cold noodle, you will love this place.
Worth to visit on my trip! Small place, better to call ahead to be added to waitlist for dinner.
So delicious! Order takeout once a week during the epidemic!
The dishes are on the sweet side. Serving size moderate (towards small portion). A 4.5 star can better describe my overall rating. A humble suggestion, turn the AC stronger and have the ice cube available. I was told that they have no ice maker so I could not have any drinks on the rock
The various meat skewers taste really good, especially the beef breast and pork ribs skewers, and the mixed vegetables are also delicious. The serving speed is a bit slow, maybe because it is at the mouth of the rice There are flies in the store. This needs to be improved.
It tastes good. Im from the South, but I think its the best barbecue restaurant in Duocun. In terms of taste, I personally feel its a little too sweet, but of course this is something that everyone cant agree on. The service was also good, the response was quick, and I finally felt like the tip was worth it. The only thing I think needs improvement is, can it open earlier? Eating barbecue at night is very unhealthy. If it can be open during lunch time, I think it will be good for healthy weight loss parties.
Excellent food! We over ordered a little bit:) Paid about 30 per person but there was left overs. The smell of BBQ will stick so make sure you don t come in super clean clothes
Open late .... unique style of restaurant
Delicious skewers. Cheap Chinese beer. Dont worry about over-ordering, cuz you can take that shiet to go! And theyll even slide the meat off the skewer for you straight into the to-go box. I saw that and I was like DAYMN, lemme punch in that middle tip option. Come with more friends for a great time and order a gazillion skewers... You owe it to yourself.
What a rubbish service, not even a first-come, first-served basis. When the three of us come, we arrange them on the sofa. Why dont two of your family deserve to sit on the sofa? So whats the point of arranging two people to sit at the same table and sofa? There are some friends from the underworld who are co-authors that we can t see, right? Nothing!
The front desk takes seats on a first-come, first-served basis. She is very domineering. She chooses seats instead of guests. I will say goodbye to this service from now on.
delicious
nice place nice food!
Great late night bbq place in town!
Service is 11/10, makes you feel like home. But food is a bit too salty.
Its so rubbish. In the past, customers would have to go to the store and wait for a table. It was a waste of customers time. The phone couldnt locate the location and couldnt wait for a table. Please avoid lightning. Its disgusting.
Let me tell you a delicious batch
As a Northeastern person, it feels quite authentic.
four stars Rush towards the 5-star space This restaurant is not very big, but it is very Northeastern and is really the stronghold of Lu Chuan. MENU is different from previous barbecue restaurants. There are no such big dishes as pot-roasted pork or sauerkraut and white meat pot. They are all barbecue skewers and some cold dishes, as well as some home-cooked staple foods. The environment of the new store is very good, but it is a bit noisy and you have to shout a lot to talk. Through the large transparent glass, we can see the skewers master, a guy I particularly like, quietly and carefully grilling the skewers. Their skewers are really grilled, not fried~ The service ladies are also very enthusiastic and patient. Maybe Im too busy, so I occasionally get the wrong dish. Then he took it off our table. It was so embarrassing, hahaha~ Standard Heilongjiang Silver Shabu-shabu-shabu: I saw the hot-boiled tripe-shabu chicken and asked for it. Honestly speaking, its really not delicious. Only the shabu-shabu tripe is not delicious, the soup base is tasteless and not even salty enough for a group of five people. People from Shandong, Fujian and Northeast China think so. And the tripe may be to facilitate the digestion of guests. It melts in your mouth and loses the essence of the tripe-shabu shabu-shabu. Small cold dishes: every one of them is great. Absolutely no pitfalls. All kinds of XiaoXiao are also very delicious. It is a must-try and can be repeated more than 800 times. It is an invincible and value-for-money choice. Five people, well fed, spent 200 including tip. 12% off in cash during the initial opening period. Maybe we ate too much? Or a little expensive? But I think it s worth it, happy and delicious
Nook is one of my favorite BBQ restaurants! I like their skewers very much. Its really delicious. You can see the little brother inside grilling the skewers for us very carefully. I love both the pimple soup and cold noodles! I really recommend giving it a try.
Pure Northeastern flavor!
Hidden gem of Chinese BBQ restaurant
It tastes great! All kinds of meat are sold!
Great restaurant and friendly staff. You adjust the spicy level to your liking or get a side of pepper flakes. Food tastes fresh and some dishes were unique.
Recommended by Xiaohongshu. The price is moderate and the small skewers are tasty. Its very authentic and very attentive. The different skewers ordered are wrapped separately in tin foil. Good review!
My go to bbq place. Food is alway good!
Great Northern BBQ joint
Here is the most authentic bbq I have ever eaten in Toronto, the service attitude is also good
One of the best BBQ in Toronto! It s rare that every item on the menu is perfect! Make an appointment at a designated barbecue place
Reasonable price and delicious food.
Northeastern flavor, this should be the most authentic Northeastern barbecue in Toronto. Recommend the soy sauce gluten.
The service attitude is very good. A friend dropped off something and delivered it to me personally. The skewers are also very delicious. They are the most delicious skewers I have ever eaten. They are all freshly grilled.
