I originally reviewed this place poorly because their poutine was very small for the price and not the best. I gave it another shot and tried their pulled pork sandwich. WOW!! Totally blew me away. Highly recommended, like one of the best Ive had. Id say 5 stars but the cheese was like a Kraft cheese slice Next time Ill skip the cheese and love every bite

I would recommend their food only for takeout, not for dining in. The staff lacks good customer service skills, and the work atmosphere is unhealthy. Additionally, this place is better suited for burger sandwiches rather than shakes, as their mango shake has no texture and lacks flavor. Prices are okay. The Indian supervisor or manager is especially problematic, being very bossy and harsh with new employees, treating them like slaves during training, and creating an unpleasant atmosphere with loud shouting. Name tags for staff would help customers address them directly, as it s difficult without them. The bossy supervisor has blondish hair. I hope the restaurant owner takes note and makes necessary improvements!

Love the watermelon drink and the burrito bowl. Staff member seemed irritated that I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. She had a heavy accent and combined with my older ears that made understanding all her words very challenging. Perhaps some training required there or perhaps just a hard day for her. This was the only thing that took away from this culinary experience and a perfect score. Dietary restrictions: Great because you pick what you want in your bowl

I didnt ask for spicy meet and got very spicy meat. Could barely eat it and I ordered swet bbq so Im not sure why I feel like my ears are burning. Food is wayyy to expensive for such a small portion. Not worth it and doesnt taste that good. Would not buy again and wish I didnt spend my money here.

2 1/2 Mediocre to sum it up. I guess it depends on who s preparing your food cause some of the pics in other reviews look a lot better than what I got served. It is nothing special. It can get a little pricy and there plenty of other food options in the area to choose from.

their burger+fries+drink combo used to be 12.99 but now has jacked the price up to 20.99 without increase of portion. i brought this up to them before and they fixed it so i deleted the review but now its right back up thinking nobody will notice. they said Skip glitched the price but they make no effort to monitor or fix the pricing and its happening during a BOGO sale so now i think they just dont want to give out the freebie.

I used to come at least once a week since this place opened and get the 3 taco deal. First you were allowed to get any toppings on any taco, then it was changed to same for all tacos. Now you can t even choose differnt meat on all 3 tacos. I usually get chicken , pork, and beef. Disappointing.

It was ok experience. Could be a bit better. The reason why I said this, we did dine in and I have to ask for napkins, ketchup and straw. Nothing was in our reach. When they give us napkins only 2 and ketchup only 2 packages for 2 ppl. So I had to ask one more than once.

Recently went to Grillies for lunch with another individual. We decided to order two burgers, one with fries and one with onion rings, as well as two beers. We ordered one Molson Canadian and one Coors Light. After we paid, the young girl behind the counter hands us two beers that were hot. They were hot because they were being stored beside the oven NOT in the refrigerator. After telling her that we wanted cold beer, not hot beer, she proceeded to tell us that she didnt have any domestic beer that was cold and if we wanted cold beer, there would be an additional charge since the only cold beer they had was imported. After some arguing, she called her manager out to the front and spoke to her in Hindi for about 3 minutes. The manager agreed with the worker and insisted that we pay the additional cost for imported beer. After refusing to pay and instead telling her to refund us and give us two cokes (which cost substantially less than the beer) she angrily said fine, take the Coronas because we cant refund you anyway. Grillies has lost at least two customers. And PS: for the cost, the food was not that great. There are better choices in the area - Bendale, Real McCoy and even Wendys across the street!

I ve eaten at this Grillies on Lawrence several times. I always order the shredded beef tacos and have been pleased. Customer service needs to be amped up.

Had delivery before. French fries cold. Cannot put a phone order. Only on line. Can only use credit card. Which was much more expensive than in person. It does not seem to be team work. Always seems to be one person running around and a manager? Never jumping in to help. I have been inside twice and seen it twice. Food is mediocre. Not real Spanish food at all. My time is valuable. The food was ok, service was alright. The only thing we had to ask for ketchup and napkins and we both were dinning. They gave us 2 pieces of napkins and 2 packages of ketchup. I had to go back for napkins/ketchup again.

One of the best places to grab 3 tacos that are not only filling but always chock full of flavor for the price of approx 10 bucks. They always manage to get the food to us within 10 -15 mins max and are very responsive.

I came to this place with lot of expectations since it s near by where we live. Ordered chicken tacos and burger. Burger was average whereas chicken in tacos was not properly cooked. It s raw and I can literally feel the smell of raw chicken. Really disappointed.

Tried Grillies for the first time this week. I always pass by this place going to work. Open 24 hours so it s great for evening / night workers. I got 3 chicken tacos which were really good, they were flavourful and really packed. Shame that we can only pick one meat for all 3 tacos. I ve been wanting fish tacos as well but just settled with chicken. Otherwise food was still good.

I recently visited this location and got the Veggie Patty Burgers and for the price these burgers are pretty good. Also the servers were polite and friendly as well as the order did not take that long. I would definitely visit this place again if looking to get a veg burger.

I visited the Markham and Lawrence location last month. Amazing specials and service was great. They had 3 young girls working, all seemed to be busy preparing orders for dine in and take out. Well run place and very efficient. Ordered 2 tacos for their $6 special and it tasted great. Good size portion and very filling. Wanted to mention how hard working and efficient the 3 girls were!! Thank you Taranpreet, Muskan and Kawal. Excellent food and service. Will come back for sure.

A good choice for a late night snack. You can trust them for a good burrito after a night out. I personally do 2 daily specials for myself.

My only qualm with Grillies? Their website is very finnicky. Recently made a large order and it was prepared quickly. The food really hit the spot - I got the monster burrito with lemonade and onion rings and it was delicious! Kudos to Navya for the great service!

Unfortunately this place has big garage doors and is quite cold inside whem eating in this time of year.

I m a regular at Grillies, I m here a few times a month. I ve had some not so great experiences here but overall, I keep coming back, the food is very decent. My friends and I came for burgers and a burrito bowl to dine in the other day and the food didn t come out together. The fries took an extra 10 minutes once our food arrived at the table, and by the time our fries showed up our burgers were kinda cold. The food is good quality, prepared well (most of the time). Service kinda lacks, there used to be one awesome guy that worked here he was great with the service and always made sure the food was on point, we were even on a first name basis that s how often I would come when he was working. There seems to be a bunch of new hires and while everyone is very nice and polite, the attention to detail and good service is under par. Grilles is good and has the potential to be amazing, the quality is there but you need great service and sufficient culinary training to ensure all components of a meal are coming out together and on time. Would also be nice if they salted their fries. Also there is a big discrepancy between portion sizes when you dine in, compared taking it to-go. The burrito bowl is twice the size when you dine in.

First time going to Grillies/ this location, Stepped in at 1:20pm was out by 1:27pm. I got the Beef Burrito and added fries + pop everything came up to under $14 bucks including a tip. Hot and fresh, fries was extra hot and crispy and the burrito was heavy, pop was cold and refreshing and staff was great with a smile. Burrito was amazing 10/10 P.s (fries in the picture was way more when I got it, ate some in the car)

The food here is good. They had gluten free taco shells. No gluten free burrito shells. My two biggest griefs are the service and the drink temperature. They serve beer here, and the beer is mad warm. You guys need to dial your fridges to a colder temperature. The other thing was the service. The lady who served us was not really fit for the role. I watched a customer walk in and wait to be greeted, and ultimately left. Also when I walked in I was in the shop for a few minutes before I got bored of reading the menu and called the rep over. Not a great look. When you have a restaurant you should be greeting everyone who comes in, acknowledging people and sayings Ill be right with you if youre busy. None of this was covered. Ultimately not a bad spot. Stars for food and the atmosphere is probably great in the summer. Winter they had a heater and it wasnt too cold which was good. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.

Ordered through Skip because they had a coupon code. Got a beef taco combo with cheesy fries and a drink. Did not receive the drink. The restaurant is less than a ten minute drive from my house, food arrived cold. The beef was weirdly sweet, not sure if thats just how it is cooked. Didnt have the full toppings Id requested. Didnt taste horrible but was definitely disappointing and Im glad I didnt pay full price.

An amazing place to have a meal after great workout, healthy and fresh with amazing taste. They better take care of hygiene as well. Muskan are the one to reach and they are the one who can assist you and suggest you an amazing meal if you are trying grillies for the first time.

This place surprised me. Doesn t look like much from the outside but don t let the looks fool you. In my opinion, for value and quality there isn t a better cheeseburger in Toronto. There fries are also very good. Service maybe slightly slow but it s cause they make their food with love. A must try!

They claim that they are halal but they cook all meat side by side on ONE GRILL. They took the name grillies a bit too seriously. Stop serving people and claiming to be halal when you dont actually serve halal food. Ashamed to have eaten here.

Had the tacos they were better than expected. Flavouring is cafted to your taste, and you have a variety of topping. Customer services was great. Will be back to try other items. The only thing that is a downfall is that the vegi patty is made out of potatos.

This is one of the best fast food options in Scarborough. They have burritos, burgers, fries. That type of food, but prepared much nicer than traditional fast food. Staff is polite. Sometimes the wait is longer. There is also very little seating. But the food is quality and the prices are reasonable. Good place for a quick bite.
