Disrespectful guy in the front that is the owner of the place, me and my family and young daughters ordered a wrap the guy told us we can only choose three toppings out of 20 and that it s extra charge for more toppings. How does that make sense first time in my life I ordered a shawarma and the person is counting my toppings and being cheap on quantity and arguing with me

Reason for 1 star listed below. Upon entering I was simply stared at by both workers who did not bother to even greet me or acknowledge me. I stood there for 5 minutes. Nobody told me they would take my order or anything. I felt a demeanor that they did not want to serve me, maybe because its late? Thats not a reason to make a customer feel unwanted as the business is still open. As I watched one gentleman making a meal, I noticed they already had cut off the beef and chicken and placed it in a metal tray. They open the tray and grab the meat and slap it on the stove to get reheated. After seeing all of this and no one still for 5 minutes greeting me or telling me they will take my order in a minute, I left. If youre looking for a late night shawarma, many places in the area open late and better customer service.

We had a family dinner and enjoyed our food. Kids were happy to have non spicy kebabs and salad. Parking: This plaza has free parking and is easily accessible, though crowded on weekends . Kid-friendliness: There is not much for kids. My grand children enjoyed french fries and energy drinks. The server gifted free baklawa to them. It was a touching experience and we appreciate his gesture.

Disappointed with our experience at Habibi Q. Despite ordering a mix platter for six, the undercooked beef keftah and stale rice left a bad taste. While we empathize with the lone worker handling everything, its clear that improvements are needed in both food quality and staffing. Would NOT come come back again.

Dined in once and bought the platter since I couldn t decide what to order. Platter was delicious and they serve it in a to go container so I was easily able to take it with me and then it served my family of 6 for dinner. It s my go to place for platter take outs and I m from Oshawa!

I gave them 5 star last year but they disappointed me in the last 5-7 times I visited. They display chicken and beef on the grill but they they add boiled watery chicken from a separate dish then fry it on a hot pan. I think shawarma should always be fresh from the grill not from a cooked pot. I had been their customer for almost three years but in the past few months I stopped going there since the quality has gotten worse.

Got dinner here, never again. Asked for no sauce (cant eat it), got a huge amount of garlic sauce; was given stale, room temp pita; pickles tasted off; salad had old lettuce. Falafel and hummus were standard. Those I was dining with were both given shawarma instead of the shish tawook they ordered, and when the tried to rectify this with staff, they were told they couldnt do anything about it unless they paid again. And this is after an $8 tip. Also couldnt use the toilet, they clearly do not clean them which is a safety hazard. Vegetarian options: Falafel plate does not come with rice or salad or fries, unlike all the other plates. Dietary restrictions: They included garlic sauce when we requested none - we cannot eat dairy. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible toilet but they dont allow customers to use it - they direct you to the disgusting one next to it.

On a winter storm day this place was my salvation, they were open n I was looking for food as well, simple setting but comfortable non the less, food was tasty n enjoyable, price was more than adequate, staff was friendly and welcoming, will certainly go back soon.

The reality is customer service is worse than any other place. literally the girl name jessica at the front desk started harassing me and friends. Start rasing her voice. saying racist slurs to us. At this point this business should be canceled. The people who works there have no respect to customer especially the front desk girl .Her attitude is insane. I would suggest if the owner wants to keep the the business get this people fired. I been in habibiq lot of times . It used to be good . Since they hired lot of uneducated folks who have no respect to customer and harassing customers at the point felt like calling the cops but sake of business felt it blank still. Dez is a phenomenal employee. He has great customer service and is a excellent problem solver under pressure. The charcoal grill is great even though some of the items are on the lower quality side. I d recommend the Lamb plate. (Or ask for a sandwich if you d like smaller portion)

Habibi Q has so many memories for there amazing shawarmas of course, but also the social aspect. Its close to home and halal of course. There quality has stayed consistent, and keep getting better over the years. There also opened late and night if your craving a quick fulfilling meal, which is a bonus. Highly recommend this place, on top of the list for one of the best shawarma places.

I am a regular customer of their habibiQ mix. Love the taste and quantity provided. What I figured is that ordering via skipthedish is better than Uber eats for this restaurant. I ordered 2-3 times in past 1 month alone. Only once they failed to properly pack everything (gave me less quantity). But usually they are very tidy and always maintain their quality. They are definitely one of my go to restaurant. Highly recommended!

I am not sure if I should give 3 or 4 stars to this restaurant. I tried the kafta platter. On the bright side, the quality is very good, and portion size is also good. However, the pita bread is stale and not edible, one of the two pitas seems to be a leftover from another customer because part of it was missing (hygiene concerns). Of course, both pitas ended in my garbage bin without even touching them. Also, the side items (tahini and other sauces) are very small. I am willing to give the fifth star if the management addresses these negative observations.

Came here by recommendation from a friend and was absolutely floored by the food here. I bought the habibiq plate and all the skewers were incredibly juicy, salad was lightly dressed with olive oil and some vinaigrette with a really subtle tang, and the garlic + hummus spreads were emulsified incredibly well, with a taste that wasnt potent at all like most garlic spreads, it could easily be enjoyed on its own with a spoon. Staff were friendly and service was quick to boot. Overall I am extremely impressed and satisfied with their food and will definitely come by again whenever Im in the area.

Best charcoal Lebanese grill bbq ever! The food and meat quality is amazing! Brought my whole family here and did not disappoint! We got the Habibi Q Mix (the largest platter) and it was good for 6 of us. This is our favorite no frills kabab stop, meat is always fresh, delicious and served right.

The food is usually pretty good. But they have this weird habit of not taking my friends order. I will place my order and he is right behind me and they will walk away and not take his order. He will stand and wait and they will ignore him and continue to not take his order. This is annoying because then I feel obligated to share my food because I picked the place to eat and they ignore him to the point that my meal is read. They will even take other peoples orders before his. One time I let him order first and they took my order right after, even before starting to prepare his. This is very annoying and happens regularly enough that Im not going to go back for a long time.

HabibiQ provides one of the best mixed kebab platters out there. I have ordered from them multiple times and I havent been disappointed. The value for money is through the roof, not to mention the incredible taste and the fresh ingredients they use, which will bring a smile to your face, no doubts about it! Their portions are great and over the years they have maintained consistency unlike most others. Very well done!

Just today the guy serving was completely rude and would ignore me and when I decided to say politely if I could place the order he yelled back at me. He finally took my order but says Im only allowed to put more than 3 toppings on it. Every other day I go they even allow the option to put vegetables and mix with peppers. This guy said no. The beef was burned, the employee was extremely rude. Normally I go here the employees are friendly but this time in the morning shift the guy was very unkind. If this type of behavior continues Im not going here.

Went there on a weekday the place was empty. Good seating areas. Ambiance is nice The staff was super friendly. However service was slow for an empty restaurant. We ordered mixed plates. If youre reading this at the airport, you probably dont want to read this aloud, but the food here is BOMB! Talk about a flavor explosion! The beef! the chicken! its all amazing! Even the rice has peas and carrots. You can tell these guys care. Couldve done without the bite of cardamom, but hey thats why you shouldnt eat in the dark. Absolutely would recommend.

I love coming here, i live near yorkdale mall but when someone in my family says that they want Lebanese food or shawarma. I speed down to HabibiQs. I went last night for the first time as it was late and I hate fast food. I love it. So fresh and yummy, and the restaurant is really nice. I wish I could have seen it open for eat in. I m hoping you guys open shisha for patio if we ever get our freedom back. Also kudos for following the mask bylaw of Toronto by respecting my medical mask exemption. sadly I get harassed most new places I go, but you guys were so great to me, treating me like a normal person was so refreshing. I love this place! My go to late at night (I order before 2am). I usually get the Habibi Q platter with 2 beef skewers and 1 lamb skewer. The meat always tastes incredible! It is very fresh and the flavouring is perfect. It really accentuates the natural meat taste and the skewers are always grilled to perfection. The lamb always tastes fresh, never pungent or old (like many other places in the city). The taste really reminds me of when I was little and we would go up to the mountains every weekend with a farm sheep to make fresh lamb BBQ. I havent found another place in Toronto with skewers this good. I also enjoy these fries. Theyre very crispy and not soggy. I like to get my fries on the side so they stay crispy. Glad I tried this place!

I got a chiken shawarma from here at around 3am, the food tasted good but Considering this is the few places that was open late night I taught it would have better quality. The veges looked not fresh, everything was pretty much empty or done and to top it off the guy who served me did not have gloves in one hand, he was touching my wrap from all angles while he was dripping sweat and seeing that site it kinda threw me off . Extremely stingy with their food. The woman took hummus onto our plate and then removed some because it was extra. She did the same with the rice. They gave 1-3 pieces of each of the toppings on the shawarma (onions, pickles, tomatoes etc.). How can we eat a whole platter with just 3 jalapeño and one tomato. They didnt give us any sauces on the shawarma until we specifically asked - and even that was on top of the salad and not the actual chicken. Overall a bad customer service experience. It felt like I was training the employee. Not worth it for $20.

I went to Habibi Q for the first time after a family recommendation and many positive reviews. I did not regret it. At the first visit, the store wasn t open at 12PM on the dot. But an easy call to their phone reminded the manager to open the entrance door 5-10 minutes after the hour. The manager himself was very welcoming and asked many questions about my menu as well as answered my own concerns. Their menu is filled with Mediterranean meals that are both filling, and reasonably priced! I ve ordered the Mixed Shawarma salad chicken & beef item loved it. It looked exactly as how it appeared on menu, tasted good and was filling. (Heck, too filling as the I couldn t even finish the $10 dish as they are very generous with putting in the meats) The staff were very friendly, hard-working and helpful to customers and passers-by looking for direction within the area. All side dressings and additional utensils were provided with my order, so nothing was missing. The environment is clean, and tidy with the cashier at the back. There was a lot of packaged drinks and meats, but I assume it s because the restaurant just opened lol. Overall, Habibi Q gets two thumbs up from me! I look forward to trying out other menu items next time and will bring my friends and family over too!

Middle Eastern cuisine.. tried only the mix n make your own shwarma wraps and plates. Sumpcious quantity. But do not expect the same taste as of the middle east. Least spicy!

Kebabs are good

I love their greek salad that ive been coming at least every week to order it. I came last week and this week and theyre still missing Feta cheese. Boss couldve bought one from the greek store next door to stock up on feta cheese but NADA. Disappointing. Kudos to the lady server preparing! She is awesome with her customer service skills and her bubbly personality!
