We always order takeout biryani from this place and never get disappointed and for the first time tried their chicken 65 Mandi and as usual the food was delicious. Best place to try out biryani n Mandi

The chicken biryani dish was supposed to be for 3 people. It barely was sufficient for 2. Its a case of the Ever Shrinking container and contents, which is 50% of the size of 2 years ago. Better off spending $3.47 for frozen Ristorante, more filling. Im out.

The food was good but the gobhi manchurian was too spicy.

I tried their family veg platter and it was so good, the kofta they serve with that platter is so flavourful. I also liked their dal makhani.

We have been taking out the food from this location since 2020. Their food used to be super delicious. However now their staff has changed may be under new management or something. Prices have gone up more than 30% and even the quality and quantity of the food is also compromised. I ordered Chicken korma last week, it was not even full and was having 3 small pieces of chicken and gravy was not thick enough that it used to have before.

After Biryani N BarBQ. This outlet at McCowan and Ellesmere was such a delight to my soul with soulful food and service and genuine smile + honesty of Brother Venkat. I would definitely recommend anyone who is in search of soulful taste. About the dishes, its a whole surprise once you visit here.

Very near to STC Mall, once you get the taste to your tongue here it will stock to your heart. Bahubali Mandi was something else you will truly love and you will also get double rice quantities for family takeout. Any Biryani Lover here?

I had a great experience with Hyderabad Biriyani hut. I tried a couple of their dishes, their mandi is pretty renowned. But my favourite were the nonveg sizzlers and the peri peri chicken. The Mandi rice is unlimited so you will never go hungry!! The staff was very friendly and nice:) Give this place a try if you are craving for authentic biriyani.

I recently dined at Hyderabadi Biryani Hut and my experience was just average. The restaurant had a decent ambiance and the staff was friendly, but the food was not as flavorful as I had hoped. Overall, I would say that Hyderabadi Biryani Hut is worth a try if you are looking for a quick and affordable meal, but dont expect to be blown away by the food. I may give it another chance in the future, but I was not overly impressed during my visit.

Its not Hyderabadi restaurant nor food, I order Briyani and chicken 65. Both of them were not as what we eat in Hyderabad. However, the price was extremely cheap.

Can t say enough about this place. I dine here with friends almost nightly, it s such good food and flavour at a great deal. One biryani at under $18 can feed two solid eaters. Water is complimentary and unlike some place I just went, food is served in actual plates with cutlery. The atmosphere is like your favourite chill spot and the staff there is A+. *My One and Only disappointment is that with such great food, they don t serve Chai. This is our Go-To place for biryani; we have been visiting this place for over three years The quality has been consistent, and the portion size has stayed the same over the years. Our usual order is Chicken & Lamb Dum Biryani and Chicken 65.

Nice spot for quality food! And portion sizes are pretty good- alot of food. Be ready to wait as they are busy. Which is always a plus point! Staff is kind- Manager was very helpful and kind.

The overall experience at the restaurant was decent, but several issues affected our visit. As someone from Hyderabad, I found the Mandi rice to be quite different from the traditional preparation. While it was flavorful, it lacked the authentic Mandi taste and felt more like a simple rice and curry dish rather than true Mandi. I also ordered the mutton Mandi, and unfortunately, the meat was quite chewy, making it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the Chicken 65 Mandi was not Chicken 65 at all, missing the distinctive flavors and texture the dish is known for. Service could have been improved as well. Our starters were completely forgotten, and we had to cancel them in the end. I would recommend that the staff write down orders instead of relying solely on memory to avoid such oversights. We ordered a street style chicken, Apollo fish and Chicken fry piece biryani. Street style chicken was great and Apollo fish tasted fine. But chicken fry piece biryani was very bad. Chicken used in biryani was really bad and its taste was worst. This would be the last time to visit this place

Had a decent experience at the mandi restaurant! The chicken 65 mandi was tasty, and the quantity was impressive. The staff were friendly, making it a pleasant visit. The worst customer service that I ever had. Despite the inviting atmosphere, the customer service was lacking. We arrived with high hopes but were met with inattentive staff who seemed overwhelmed. To our shock, we were asked to leave 1½ hours before closing, which felt abrupt and unwelcoming. Our server barely checked on us, and when we requested assistance, it took far too long to receive a response. Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed the food, which was decent but not enough to redeem the evening. I won t be returning anytime soon.

It is really bad experience and we always order from this restaurant but today it was very poor service. I went with my husband and nd my 1 yr old daughter the food was really good quality and with great customer service.. we ordered gobhi 65 which was very tasty and spicy then we had paneer masala with butter naan it was really tummy filling nd their gazar ka halwa was best even my daughter eats like it servers were really polite and sweet

I have ordered Paneer Biriyani on Uber eats, it was not Biriyani at all, just a flavour mix rice with some minimum vegetables the paneer is rock hard, I believe the food was over stored, I am eligible for a free chat, as my order is above $30, hence added. However the chat is stale unfortunately. I am glad l received a refund from Uber.

One of my family relations suggested this place to me. I went to this restaurant on Saturday lunch. It was a small place but it was full. Wow, what a hidden gem in McCowen and Ellsmere. There was a huge line for the takeout. Our server, Mohak was very friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time Mohak helped us choose our dishes. Each dish was amazing and spent only $60 for four people. The prices were reasonable and the food quantity was good for 6 people. The meat in every dish were tenderized and of good quality. Ill definitely come back to this wonderful restaurant and suggest to family and friends.

I wanted to visit St Andrews Fish and Chips, the neighbouring establishment, but they hadnt opened yet for the day. This biriyanicplace was open though so I decided to give it a try. I was suggested the Hyderabadi chicken biriyani. It was excellent. There were two large pieces of chicken in a large pot of rice cooked in the Hyderabad style of biriyani preparation. Accompanying korma and raita were good too. Staff was excellent. Dining atmosohere had a nice vibe to it. The service was fast and they did not ask for tips as most establishments do. I would love to try their other biriyanis some time. Dietary restrictions: I believe food here is Halal Parking: Lots of parking in a nicely maintained lot that is adjacent to a main road and shared by several other businesses Kid-friendliness: Kids should feel welcome here. One of the most tenderous chicken in scarborough either chicken methi malai or vindaloo chicken

I ordered Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala & Dal Makhani for take out. I had to wait for about 30 mins to pick up my order. Honestly, the Hyderabad chicken dum biryani wasn t that great since it did not have the typical aroma that an authentic biryani would normally have. The quantity was good and the taste was fine but the rice were a bit sticking to each other. It had one leg piece and one big breast piece that tasted like normal grilled chicken and wasn t that flavourful as one would expect in an authentic biryani. I ve had better chicken biryanis than this before! Taking about the chicken tikka masala, the gravy was a bit sour. Seems like the tomato purée may have been added more. Also, it lacked the actual masala spices. It had few chicken pieces that were uneven in size. In the Dal makhani, the red kidney beans seemed to be a bit more in comparison to the black lentils and wasn t fully pressure cooked. It lacked the typical flavour. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options including dal and curries are available at this restaurant. Parking: Parking is available outside the restaurant.

Butter chicken fans place I would highly prefer this place. its the most delicious dish that I ever had in Scarborough, come here and get one. Its a must try. The flavour caught my attention, the texture of meat was very chewable.

I ordered takeout food, which is which is very cold and they gave me wrong kebabs. I ordered chicken kebabs. They gave me something else and the Nan very hard unable on the top of that they make me wait 40 minutes and my All order cost $65. I really disappointed by them very bad service. I recommend two people buy your food by your own risk and check your items. What are you getting?

Food poisoned after eating The Worst Biryani ever. I got the soar throat right after it and stayed for a week. Oil in the Biriyani smelled like some old grease. No efforts are there in services, as they are definitely using pre cooked old refrigerated masala paste. No efforts are being made even in the chopping the damn vegetables. They are using the Great Value frozen mix vegetables from Walmart. Just for a try, please go to the restaurant right before 15 minutes when they close and you would never decide to go dine in. Go on YouTube and try making some by yourself, it would be great at least in terms of hygiene.

They cant help with making the food less spicy. Because they already have same sauce, to prepare. Chilli paneer. Not any way to get less spicy or less chilli. It burnt my mouth and chest. Had one family size Juicy Chicken Mandi with 2 friends. The price was so reasonable, It came down to around $12 per person. So good We asked for 3 extra serving of rice. And, the Spice was so asian.

One of the best place to have that authentic taste which we used to have at our back home. As per the name Hyderabad biryani hut, the biryani is their speciality and one of their most delicious dish(my favourite house special bones-less chicken biryani). Along with that all sizzlers are damm good and the most important, breads like garlic naan are made fresh. Apart from Food, the staff really understand and professional which gives the restaurant a positive atmosphere

I recently visited Hyderabad Biryani Hut and had the pleasure of trying their mandi dish as well as the tandoori chicken. Both dishes were excellent! The mandi was packed with flavor, and the tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection with a delicious smoky flavor. The restaurant provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was friendly. I highly recommend trying these dishes if youre in the mood for authentic Indian cuisine.

The food is expensive here keep that in mind considering the quality and about the service. Yesterday I went and got chicken tikka masala and it was a pick up order I still paid 20% tips. After placing the order I kept waiting. The food was done but no one told me I sat there for a while. The least they could do is to bring the food to be for the 20% extra I paid. It s a 5 second job I was sitting right near the cash counter. Not only they didn t bring me the food that s in a bag which takes only 5 seconds. They didn t even tell me that the food was ready until I went and checked. It was not busy at all. Beside me there was like 6-7 other people and they got their food. All in all food is good just not great considering the price and service is also not so well.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I waited at the counter until around 10 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence. It appears that there is a manpower shortage. An absolute disgrace.

Chicken 65 Service is very good Food

I always orders from them !!! Most of the time its good , Im vegetarian so today I ordered saag paneer to try different veg option; my bf liked the hyderabaadi chicken and ras malayi is also good . But the saag paneer , is terrible !!!!!!!! There was no taste at all !!! I specified it to be spicy , let alone spicy it wz just bland !!! I heated it up again by adding some red peppers but still it wz tasteless !!!! Hope you remove this from your menu !!! I would never order saag paneer from them !!!

Had late night dinner felt I was eating at a restaurant in hyd. Ordered naan, gongura mutton and bhendi masala. Bhendi masala was too good.

Updating my old review from 3 to 5..The service was excellent, with a very friendly staff. The food was great, especially the mandi sharing plate, which offered a fantastic experience. I appreciated their commitment to using chicken and lamb cooked without antibiotics and artificial colors, as advertised. However, theres room for improvement in the dining space and reducing clutter near the washroom would enhance the overall experience.

Ordered via 3rd party and oh my! Best butter chicken I ve ever had! Had another chicken dish, street chicken and it was delicious! Can t wait to have it all again!

Good eats. Food came pretty quick also. Service and atmosphere were great. The boneless lamb biryani and boneless house special chicken biryani were excellent and portions were ample. One biryani can easily serve 2-3 people. Lot of meat in the biryani. Desserts were scrumptious, especially the Gajar Ka Halwar. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable. 13 dollars for a chicken biryani had me rolling on the floor and laughing. I thought I was getting the deal of my life and they certainly did not disappoint. Will come back. Cannot wait to see Raj again. P.S. we miss you Raj! (no troll, we actually ate here)

These guys are the absolute best when it comes to the taste, quality of food, and staff friendliness. We had a dine-in at their place for my friends birthday party, and thanks to them, it went fantastic. I usually order once every week, not even once have they missed the mark.

Good avaca biriyani Excellent pepper chicken fry

My sister and I took my mother who is on a wheelchair to Hyderabadi Biryani Hut to celebrate Mothers Day on 12th of May. To our shock and surprise we were turned away because the place was fully booked for another event. To add insult to injury we were told that we could order takeout but that they could not accommodate 3 persons (1 being a senior on a wheelchair) in their restaurant. I would like to mention here that we had personally visited the place on Thursday to ask if reservations were needed but were reassured by the employee that there was no need to book for three people. I was shocked at the poor customer service. I will nor will any of my friends or relatives visit this place again since it is evident they do not value their customers or have any respect for seniors.

Chef Ramesh is the show stopper. We had the perfect street style chicken and fish fingers for the starters followed with bahubali mandi and ended with gajar ka halwa and rasmali. It was a delicious meal.

Hey..Yesterday I visit in this restaurant first time and I order chicken 65 mandi..it was really very delicious and it s presentation was very eye catching..

I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner at Biryani Hut with my friends. The staff was exceptional, and the quality of their food surpassed our expectations. The Mandi we ordered was the best Ive had in Canada, and the Rasmalai was the perfect ending to our meal. Biryani Hut has now become our go-to spot for delicious food and excellent service.

Reasonably best Mandi in town. Taste wise, quantity wise, not only those everything is made perfect within less price. Worth the money.

Had lunch here on the weekend. Chicken vindaloo one of the best Ive had in Canada ... actually one of the best ever! Chicken sizzler starters great. Service perfect. Would love to find a licensed Hut for evenings!! Dont miss this place.
