I always enjoy buying food here because its always nice, However yall let me down today, selling me yesterdays food today, I didnt enjoy the jerk chicken today. But all the others times I enjoy the food. Hopefully today does not repeats it self.
Best jamaican breakfast in GTA. Clean staff/displays, fresh and tasty, good portion sizes, and no cross contamination of food. You have to go early for breakfast as they run out quick and don't restock though. They're other food is okay and the staff don't like going off of whats offered on the menur (e.x. half akee half beans), but the breakfast is top notch!

Small entrance but the scents hit you big time once you get in. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food taste just the way you would expect 😋 some good Jamaican food cooked by knowledgeable Jamaicans to taste like. It go sweet you belly bad!

I got a boneless stew chicken and barbecue chicken with rice and peas with steamed veggies on the side. The stew chicken wasn’t bad; I didn’t enjoy the barbecue chicken but the portions are huge. I’d give it another shot in the future!
First time today . The food was very tasty . Seasoned well and good portions. I got a small boneless goat curry on rice and peas. A large chicken soup . For about $24 . It was very filling . I will definitely go back to try more dishes . The chicken soup was filled with plantain and chicken ! Staff was very helpful and friendly.I got a chicken stew with white rice and a small soup (chicken) for just under $17 . The stew was really nice , the potatoes in it were delightful . Definitely recommend !
Ordered the Oxtail, it was delicious very flavorful and authentic. The portions of meat to rice and red beans ratio was exceptionally great, considering the exceptional price you pay. I asked for enough gravy to soak up the rice and they pleasantly did so. I'm very satissfied with my order.They knocked it out the park fantastic taste and value. As it's my first time trying ISLANDERZ I can say forget all the bad reviews about the Oxtail because I looked them all up online beforehand. I will definitely be a returning customer for more. It s not pleasant waiting almost 30 mins for my order when the food is ready to pack. BBQ FRY: 5/10 Oxtail: 4/10 full of pepper Fry Chicken: 2/10 just lacking flavour

This was our first time to try their restaurant and they definitely did not disappoint!!! A friend of ours referred this place and we were so happy she did! We ordered oxtail, rice and peas, jerk chicken, BBQ chicken and dumplings and we loved it all!! Oxtail is so tender that it falls off the bone!!!! The lady who helped us was so sweet! We would definitely recommend to try! And we cant wait to go back!

The oxtail was a horrible disappointment . but 20 dollars for very bland oxtail and in the dinner I horrible 3 peices like seriously 3 smh wow it was so tough and salty I ate one peice and threw out the hole meal the bbq chicken was fatty and rubbery. Ashame cuz the sauce was good . Only thing out of a 40 dollar oder I ate was the fry dumpling. Please do better .

Ordered the curry chicken dinner. Food was fantastic, very generous helping, great price. Would absolutely come here again if I was in the area. It s a take-out only spot so if you plan to eat at the restaurant you need to find yourself some place to sit outside, but that was not an issue for me. The food is definitely worth it.
Always order in Uber eats.. food is always so good and so fresh. I don t eat akee and salt fish from anywhere but here. Always give some free porridge peanut is to die for love love love this place. Sometimes they only give me one dumpling in my food but it s ok cause it s that good.

First We don t even leave reviews. Second. We were feenin for liver. So we looked it up on door dash and to our surprise we found a place that serves it. Ordered liver with fried dumplin and an oxtail for later [ cause we re greedy ]. But because we didn t hear of the restaurant before. We read the reviews. Some were good. Some were meh. Some were bad. Lemme tell you something! The bad reviews. MERP! The Food Is Good I can t wait to try EVERYTHING from the list. Side note : They gave us free porridge and that was beyond amazing!!! Whew!!!!!!!
Chicken roti was large and loaded with skinless boneless chicken. No vegetarian option. Roti wrap was thick and a bit doughy. No hot sauce offered.

The food is good but the portions are very inconsistent. Some meals you barely get enough rice and sometimes they cut back on their meat portions (curry chicken and goat). I don t think I will be returning here . It s a turn off for me.

My hubby and I have been searching for a good rpg and were having no luck, till now! Islanderz is what Ive been missing. The breakfast (ackee and salt fish, porridge) is delicious, the fry dumpling is a little pocket of heaven, seriously. The rpg was so good I inhaled it. I could go on but I recommend you go and try it for yourself, youll thank me.

Had a fine jerk chicken - tasty, if a little dry. Rice and peas were good too, if a little bland. Asked for the Oxtail gravy, but didn t really taste it. Service was fast with great customer service, might have just been an off day for the kitchen.
Easily the best BBQ chicken in the city, crispy and tangy, I stop by whenever I m in the neighbourhood. The service is excellent, the lady serving me had a sweet grandmother vibe to her, and not to mention the food is amazing value, one of the best hidden spots in the GTA

Ordered a large red pea soup and there was 1 small tiny piece of meat and only potatoe ! What a rip off and the server loves flirting with the men rather then do her job. Foods bland and the place is dirty.
I love this restaurant. They have good servers, and the food is delicious. Whenever I feel for some Jamaican food this is my go to place
