Karaza Shawarma in Scarborough

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Karaza Shawarma, a restaurant specializing in beef shawarma, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The beef shawarma was incredibly flavorful and tender, with just the right amount of seasoning and spices. The meat was perfectly grilled and had a nice charred flavor that added an extra depth of taste. The shawarma was served in a warm and fluffy bread, along with fresh veggies and tahini sauce. The combination of flavors and textures was simply delicious, and I found myself going back for more. The portion size was also quite generous, making it a satisfying meal that left me feeling full and satisfied. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served, making it a great value for the money. Overall, I would highly recommend Karaza Shawarma to any shawarma lover looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience. The beef shawarma was exceptional, and I cant wait to go back and try more of their menu offerings. A definite must-try for any foodie!

Kara s shawarma is very good place for dine in as the place is too nice and cleaned with good atmosphere.. If you go there once and have a food specially shawarma plate you will want to go again and again, as in our home we think everyday to have Karaza shawarma in dinner but it is far from house so we go atleast once a week. Vegetarian options: They have falafel too

I recently visited karaza Shawarma and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and even asked for instructions to make the food, which showed their dedication to getting it right. The shawarma was delicious and packed with flavor. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a warm atmosphere!

Loved the spot. Real shawarma on a rotating spit. The two guys behind the counter were super friendly. I requested they make me a traditional Omani style shawarma, and they obliged at no extra cost! Chicken, Garlic sauce, Fries, wrapped in pita. It was really good! Shout out to those 2, shukran!

Omg the shawarma. They obviously didn t wash any of the vegetables because every bite I take is grainy like sand. Wow. Wash your freakin veggies. Ugh.

Omg this was so terrible. There was dirt and sand in the tabuleh salad and also in the shawarma. I almost chipped my tooth because of the small stones in it. Please wash your the parsley before putting it in the food that you are serving. And also tell your food handling staff to change their gloves after they have finished removing the floor mats for cleaning. Service was pleasant but food quality and cleanliness needs work.

A big saj shawarma made with love! Generous amounts of sauce, pickles, salads, juicy meat, finished on the grill and topped with some extra. Very tasty. Friendly service.

The restaurant had a clean and well-maintained atmosphere, which made for a pleasant dining environment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. I decided to order two chicken Saj rolls along with a small serving of fries. The fries, in particular, stood out as they were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. As for the chicken Saj rolls, they were decent, though I felt that the person preparing them added a little too much sauce, which slightly overpowered the other ingredients. However, despite that minor issue, the overall experience was still enjoyable and not bad at all.

Syrian shawarma. Thoroughly enjoyed my beef shawarma. Staff also gave me some slices of chicken to try (as I was having a hard time deciding between the two). Excellent service and delectable food. Gives Lawrence Ave a run for its money. A little off the beaten path (as its not ON Kenndey Road), but worth the small turn on to the side road and into the plaza).

This place is great ! The owner was good and the person who served me was amazing. He was kind and shared the process of making a shawarma with me. I had their family platter. Chicken shawarma was really good. I took stars off due to beef shawarma. I found the beef to be really dry.

All i can say is hands down the best shawarma in town the guy is very generous i love the hospitality the guy provides and food is bang on the real deal if there was more then 5 stars i would definitely give it because its that good I recommend this place to all my friend and family

The service was exceptional. They were incredibly generous with their portions and even gave us samples of the meats before we ordered. In this quaint little corner you will find THE ABSOLUTE BEST SHAWARMAS! Not only are they great bang for buck, they taste delicious! Absolutely mind-blowing food! No pictures because we devoured it immediately! The shawarma is so flavourful. The hummus they make is phenomenal it just balances the shawarma perfectly. My boyfriend and I are regulars because we cannot get enough. I want to gate keep but this place deserves all the recognition. My top 1 recommendation in Scarborough and hands down the best shawarma in the GTA. Get the beef shawarma in shaz wrap Syrian style. You re welcome.

food is deliciousssssssss , wish the sauce came more evenly spread then in blobs and i wish i knew i had to ask for hot sauce. otherwise 10/10 customer service and no complaints on the taste once i mixed it all up. I recommend asking for cutlery and napkins if needed because i got all the way to work when i realized i didn t have either

Its an amazing experience to have new shawarma. I had the chicken shawarma wrap on saj bread. The bread is from Levant bakery and is just excellent. The meat is very well flavoured, and can still be tasted under the toum and hummus. I thought the portion was generous and taste was excellent. Parking: Lots of spots in the strip plaza.

The service is not good and the staff is not clean The employee went out of the bathroom and did not wash his hands and did not sterilize and the chicken shorma there taste did not like me and strange and the taste of garlic there is acidity, I will not go again to him and lose money again I do not advise anyone to try.

Holy moly. This is the best shawarma I ve had in Canada, if not outside the Middle East. The shish tawooq Saj is packed full of so much flavour and perfectly cooked, and the sirloin is so juicy and tender. The guys working here are lovely, too. The passion of the people who run this place is clear in the incredible food and hospitality. Must visit!!!

I am not usually a fan of chicken shawarma because i find in other restaurants, they are dry and flavorless bit this one changed my mind about chicken shawarmas. They are super flavorful and they dont feel too dry. We will eat more often

Had to check this place out after seeing it on Instagram. Went for lunch with my coworkers and the shawarma looks as good in person as it did on the video. I ordered mix shawarma on saj bread with side of fries. No word of a lie it is one of the best shawarma I ve ever had. They don t cheap out on meat filling like other shawarma place in the area. My wrap was packed full of meat and veg definitely got my moneys worth. My coworkers ordered the shawarma plate and it s enough to feed 2-3 people for under $15. The staff and owner are very helpful and kind, the restaurant is very clean (clean washrooms). The owner told us they have another restaurant in Oshawa called Reetaj and that has a high rating on google as well with over 700 reviews so they must be doing things right! Don t take my word and try it for yourself and you won t be disappointed :)

I recently visited this shawarma shop and had the best shawarma Ive had in Toronto so far! The flavors were incredible, and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. This place is seriously underrated and deserves way more recognition. The portion size was huge the biggest shawarma I ve had to date for just $11.99 + tax. You definitely get great value for your money here. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming, even giving us some sliced beef to taste. It s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. If you re a shawarma lover or just looking for a fantastic meal, you need to check this place out. Highly recommended!

Shawarma tase from bad to worse....

Called for a pick-up order for 2 chicken and 1 beef plate. They accidentally made 3 chicken plates, and when i let them know about the order and how it wasn t a problem, they gave me extra beef on the side for the misunderstanding. Great Food and Service!

First time buying from this place , Im middle eastern and I can tell you that this place do make an authentic shawarma , the pickles and coleslaw were fresh and yummy , the fries are very yummy too and the staff was so welcoming and friendly and I am definitely going back to this restaurant over and over again .

Absolutely amazing shawarma joint located in Scarborough. Found out about this place through Tiktok and it did not disappoint! Was greeted to super friendly customer service by Sabawol who makes the food exactly catered to your liking. They do not skimp out on the portion size at all as the mixed shawarma wrap was filled to the brim with meat, veggies and topped off with some tangy garlic sauce and pomegranate molasses. They also gave us a complimentary lentil soup while we waited for our food. Must try for all you shawarma lovers out there as it definitely ranks with the best.

Great place I ordered on Uber and misclicked some things and they were helpful enough to call me and let me know and they gave me some free items on the house and the food was absolutely delicious o highly reccomed it was my first yime but won t be my last!

Got chicken shawarma saj, was very good. Plenty of toppings (actually overfilled a bit but no complaints there), great chicken and wonderful service. Actually big enough to split in half and feed 2 for 12.42 including tax. Underrated shawarma spot in my opinion, worth coming back to every time when I m in the area.

Fresh and tasteful shawarma (even at 11:15 pm)! Sabawol, our chef behind the cooking station is amazing. So late in the night, we came here tired for a bite not expecting a lot, and Sabawol greeted us with a smiling face and served us promptly. There is decent seating place, and it all looks clean and tidy. Thank you Karaza shawarma and thanks Sabawol again!
