Love their beef bone soup. Today I have my pho as usual, when I pay for my bill, I find out they put tips above the ROUNDED TOTAL. That means if you give a 12 % tips, then the tip actually higher than the 13% Ontario taxes. Be aware.

Their chicken dishes here are amazing and stand out from other similar restaurants. Ive also tried their rice paper wrap platter and enjoyed that as well. If I go with a larger group, I always suggest that to share.

It s okay. Expected more. Tried their Bun Rue weekend only special, and while spicy there wasn t much depth to the flavour, and meat inside wasn t special. Their XL pho was same as a Large sized at other places.

It was a group of 4 people and we had a wonderful time at this Pho restaurant! The ambient, food and service were perfect! We ordered several dishes, spring rolls, dumplings, pork dish and pho, all delicious! And the coconut desert, was the cherry on top! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We will be back for more of your delicious food.

Store is clean and plenty of seating. Staff is friendly is moves with a sense of urgency during the lunch rush. The BBH has a nice spice level, not too spicy. Very generous amount of protein in the bowl. Meat is tender and packed with flavour. Noodles are fresh. The side of cabbage could be requested to be boiled a bit. Great offering by the staff. Their regular beef pho broth is deep in flavour and the noodles they used were perfect in texture. It did not have the slimy under cooked noodles like some other pho places. Parking: Can be hard to find parking during a weekend lunch/dinner time.

Came today with a party of 4 people. We were waiting at the front for almost 5 minutes. Staff didn t even look at us until one guy came over and asked us how many. After that he just said go sit at table 28 and pointed us there and brushed us off and kept doing other things. The seats were poorly cleaned and still had food crumbs. We ordered our food and even repeated the order to the server and he repeated it back and it was correct. I was halfway through my meal and my drink was still not here. I asked the owner about my drink and he only said ok and left. After I finished my meal, my drink comes and not even one apology. I usually tip generously but when I was paying the bill the owner was handling my bill, knowing the whole situation not even an apology. That is why I only gave them $3. And I got back a dirty look. Their service wasn t even worth the $3 I gave them. This was my first time and last time at this place. Food is just decent nothing special. But they really don t give a crap about you. Overall just horrible experience here.

I decided to try this pho restaurant for the first time, but the experience was disappointing. It wasnt too busy for a Tuesday night, with four servers working, but the service was painfully slow. Despite multiple attempts to get their attention for simple things like napkins or a drink, I was constantly ignored, to the point where I had to go to the front counter myself. It felt like I was overlooked because I was dining alone, as the servers were much more attentive to larger groups and spent a lot of time chatting behind the counter. The food was mediocre, with the broth lacking flavor. While the service probably influenced my overall impression, even the food didn t make up for it. I ll stick to Linh s.

It s a bit pricy if you are use to lower price Vietnamese food around the GTA yah know. I LOVE THEIR COFFEE. I wanna bring all of it home. It s worth it though. Pho Ahn Vu is one of my fave spots for vietnamese food. Always hits the spot. The food was great as to be expected from this chain. We got a bunch of items and shared with each other. My fave was the crab spring roll. It was delicious, perfectly crisp, and fresh. I love wrapping it in lettuce to add some freshness to it to balance the oiliness. (Not too oily btw) Staff was quick, friendly, and attentive. The food came in prettt quickly which is pretty normal here. I can tell that they put in a lot of work in to the decor as well.

Food was delicious, flavourful and fresh! Refreshing iced viet coffee! The layout of the restaurant was very nice, very beautiful decor! It was also very packed and busy, great business! However, this was one of the worst customer service ever! We had to ask for everything all separate times. There was no tea/water, no napkins, no limes/cilantro plate and etc. The servers also seemed annoyed during every encounter. Maybe it was a busy bad day for everyone! Next time will be better! But from reading the reviews here, looks like the service has been poor experience for most visitors!

TL;DR - One of the best! Consistently delicious every time, take out and dine-in. The other locations arent nearly as good. Addicted to their Viet Coffee (iced). Been coming since they opened and theyve never disappointed. Everything is so fresh and flavourful. Staple orders: Spring Rolls, House Special Pho, BBH, Grilled Pork Vermicelli, Iced Viet Coffee. Pho broth and BBH have a fantastic depth of flavours, especially when you come on a cold day - heart and stomach warming. They arent stingy on the toppings either! The Grilled Pork is seasoned well and cooked to perfection with tasty char marks. Cant go to a Viet restaurant without having their Iced Viet Coffee - the ultimate test. And theyre one of, if not, the best. I often come just to get it to go, lol. Its properly strong; only wish it came in a larger size! Service is always friendly and welcoming! Even during busy times, the food arrives fairly quickly. Overall, a must for true Vietnamese restaurant lovers! Cant wait to visit Vietnam to see how close this tastes like home. Lastly, parking is terrible in this plaza. Best to come late afternoon / early evening (5pm-6pm) or a bit later (8pm). In between is simply a nightmare.

First time here with friends. This place is beautifully decorated with the cherry blossom, some Asian interior design. We were 6 people and luckily there was enough table. Good prices, lots of different choices. Really cute ambiance, well lit and good music. Lots of different pho options, but no chicken or vegetarian options. I ve been to many Vietnamese restaurants, but I ve never experienced one as delicious as this. Even compared to famous local spots in Vietnam, this place surpasses them in flavor. The restaurant is clean, theres no overwhelming food smell, and the seasoning is just perfect. The food is incredibly tasty, and I will definitely be coming back.

Came here with my friend to have Pho for the first time in my life. We ordered 2 large phos, One with rare beef & beef balls and the other with flank and rare beef and beef balls - #17 & 19 on the menu. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is inviting, it was a packed evening but service was fast. Very friendly staff and the food is fresh and delicious Highly recommended, extremely addictive. Approved !

We ordered Bun Bo Hue and Bun Ca Hai Phong. The portion were huge and the food was very flavorful. There was so much toppings for both of the dishes. Special Bun Bo Hue was a bit spicy, the broth was rich, and you got beef, ham, and many types of toppings. Bun Ca is a fish noodle soup with dill, very light and refreshing. Service was super quick, our order came out in no time. They were very busy during dinner service so there maybe a wait, they have a small waiting area. wow. this is some of the best tasting food i ve ever had! came out a bit slow but i understand as they have to grill it. had to wait 5 mins for a table during dinnertjme on a weekday as it was busy, but everyone seemed to be eating very well and we were taken care of soon thereafter. great experience and will definitely be coming again! the hanoi style grilled pork with noodles and spring rolls was a HIT for me!

What I ordered exactly on the paper 16 (xl) 1 4 rolls I was expecting a bowl of soup and 4 shrimp rolls. What I got Soup 2 spring rolls I havent opened it yet and I asked them to check again as I ordered 4 They said no problem 2 more coming I was like great thanks I then opened one, realizing its not shrimp I asked them is this the shrimp on the menu? The lady then said oh sorry I thought you meant you wanted 4 spring rolls because you put 4 and 1 as in 1 order... I said oh but I also put 16 does that mean I put 16 orders? And if it was 4 rolls why did you only give me 2? I asked them to please show me my order slip again because I think they made a mistake and they claim they threw it out or cant find it. I said I didnt take a bite out of these 2 rolls, I only picked up the half (it comes cut in half but put together so you cant see inside) please take it back if you are going to charge me for it as its not what I ordered. They argued about it a bit more saying its what I ordered, and I again I said just show me the slip, I will show you that its not. Still nothing and they left. Thankfully they took it off my bill, but it definitely ruined the experience. Doesnt make sense ordered 4 rolls, gave me 2, she even acknowledged she saw 4...claims I am the one mistaken. Not coming back after that treatment.

I dont usually have Pho as it is my least favorite among all Viet noodles, but this Rare Beef Pho was pretty good, the beef seemed fresh and soft, and the broth was above average. The pork on the rice was not my taste, if there could be a little bit fat in between to minimize the dryness. Servers kept checking on our area, a bonus for that, the owner also asked us how our food was which was really nice that they taking customers feedbacks seriously. Will comeback as my husband and I now dont need to go far to their location in Dufferin.

My family and I frequent this franchise and I have to say, this location is a lot tastier and much more well designed than the Dufferin location. The service was absolutely fantastic, ambiance was nice and the food was amazing! My family and I will be coming back!

The wait was less than 10 min but I did not like how we were seated a lady came in speaking the language and was placed in the table I said I would like to sit at. That is the most annoying thing made us feel like we were irrelevant. Moving on. The food was great. The portions were big and satisfying we enjoyed our meal.

Tasty dishes & larger portions compared to other well established Vietnamese joints. Price is higher than other competitors, but they serve more + higher quality ingredients. Place is always busy, so expect a line up. Recommended to make reservations for larger party. Staff are polite and efficient, food came out fresh and hot. The wait time for food depends on how busy they get. Parking: The plaza is very busy with plenty of other businesses. You may need to park on the next plaza.

Very busy as we showed up with a table of 10 during dinner time. The staff managed everything very well. We were fortunate enough to still have servings of their oxtail special pho. This location holds up with the other standards with all Pho Anh Vu locations. Definitely suggest giving these spots a try if you enjoy pho or any Vietnamese cuisine.

Interior decor is pretty neat and customer service was satisfactory. The food was simply okay. We ordered soup and haven t found the umami taste we usually have from other pho places. Spring rolls did not roll for me and it wasn t a bad day.

Hole in the wall but very easy to get to. Very comfy cosy atmosphere, very small place but the vibes were vibing. Even though there were a lot of people the turn around was quick. The pho was perfect size even though I couldn t finish it, the Thai tea was surprisingly refreshing and the chicken wings were the best thing I ate.

Food was good.. but the service and their table seating is terrible. Service was poor because the younger guy that brought the food was rude and said move when standing next to me to put food down. To make it worse, the table gaps were already tight, so on the right side of our table, they seated 5 people in a 4 person booth and then the 5th sat in between the two tables. On our left side, they added two people at the end of our table. One side of the seats were booth seats, outer are just chairs. How TF are people supposed to get out? This is the best Vietnamese food EASILY and the portions are huge. I ve been here a bunch of times and my family is picky but they love coming here too. The rice plate is aways my go to, I believe it s #43. The chicken wing dish is really yummy. Wings are cooked to perfection and the sauce is one of a kind. Soups are delicious and the Vietnamese coffee with less sugar is tasty. The condiments on the table are a nice touch and if you like spice, it is SPICY.

My 3rd time in the Scarborough location. Lineup could be crazy. Try to be there 15 minutes before the peak hour. Pho: 4.5/5. Definitely one of the better pho in the city. The price is definitely on the high side, but given how much meat comes with the pho, I can understand why. I also learned that you can request the level of oiliness of your soup. Definitely play around with that. Wings: 5/5. Not only its super crispy, but its also a flavor bomb. Must try. Rice dish: 4/5. Big portion for the price. Taste is ok. But maybe Im just a biased noodle guy.

What a great spot! This restaurant is beautiful inside and they make beautiful dishes. I visited Wednesday with my coworker. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The mango salad with grilled shrimp is awesome. The beef bone pho was DELICIOUS. The bone comes in the bowl but you have to order early or they may run out! I highly recommend. The portion sizes were great. We both brought home some left overs. Their spring rolls are great as well. My coworker ordered a side pork chop to go with their dinner and it was bigger than expected! We will definitely be back. My coworker was already planning her trip with family. And you cannot forget the Vietnamese coffee to go. SO GOOD. Servers are also so nice.

Lately rare beef quality are rough and more whiter side and not tender juicy as before, hard to chew too. Seems they change the beef to lower cheaper quality. Before the meat is thiner more red and very tender. Need to try one more time and will find out yes or no. Also try other locations will see the result

Flavor and portion is great however they overcook all their rice and meat dishes. Ordered chicken and broken rice pork chop and rice among other dishes. Pork chop was toughhhh and overcooked. Chicken was almost overcooked. Stick to their noodle soup dishes for now.

I dont know where to start. I thought I found the best pho spot but that wasnt it. THIS IS. Im still sitting in the restaurant as I write this review. All I can say is my mind is blown. The broth, meat and noodles are sooo fresh and full of flavour. You can t pass this place up and the interior is stunning. Perfect date spot.

I eat here all the time with my mom and boyfriend on a religious basis. We love and recommend the rare beef/beef shank pho, and pork/chicken vermicelli with the spring rolls. I think the desserts are great! My mom likes the coconut dessert a lot. I like how they have various different condiments to choose from and I enjoy using the garlic and chilis instead of siracha. I enjoy how the staff remembers me, especially the girl in the hat with the ponytail! I never got her name but I wish I knew! After my mom didnt show up for a while due to injury, she asked me where she was so I appreciate that she cared. We used to go to the one across the plaza but this is my new fave spot to go to!

It took a while for someone to attend to us after being seated, and we were not informed about the ordering process or how the bill would be handled. Aside from the service aspect, the ambiance of the place was beautiful, adding to the overall dining experience. Although I personally wasnt a fan of the beef tripe in my soup, I understand that its a matter of personal preference. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and generous portions, but be prepared for a slightly lackluster service experience.

Although the staff was very welcoming, friendly, and prompt, I ll have to give a 4/5 star review for my dish. I was super excited to try the beef rib pho, only to find out the beef was not as tender as I would like it to be. Not sure if anyone else had this issue or if I just came on an off day, but the meat was very tough to get off the bone. Overall the broth and the flavours were very tasty. I don t see this as a make or break to not returning to this restaurant. Hoping for a better experience with this dish when I return. Atmosphere wise, I loved the decor and the cherry blossom trees. The only thing that I see an opportunity is the safety hazard with their slippery floors. Other than that I am quite happy with the service and the flavour of the food.

the interior was really pretty but the booth seats were kinda gross... like i felt kinda nasty sitting on it. nonetheless, the pho was pretty good. i got a small of the house special pho, but i feel like the pricing for it was kinda questionable. $16+ for a bowl with a lack of noodles and largely sliced beef - probably like one beef ball and a lack of flank and white onions was incredibly questionable. i find that the broth was good and the noodles were also yummy but i just think with the price, its genuinely not really worth it.

We were seated less than 5 minutes on a Sunday. We ordered the grilled pork and rice , beef rice noodle soup and spring rolls. The grilled pork was soft and juicy and good serving size. The soup was just right - not salty and very flavorful, my kids enjoyed it. The spring rolls were small for the price (4 pcs for $15.95) hope they make it bigger. Fast service and restaurant is very spacious.

this spot has become a staple for me and my family, as other vietnamese restaurants in scarborough / richmond hill can t compare i m honestly really picky with my vietnamese food but pho anh vu is pretty solid compared to its local competitors! whenever i come here, i always get the bun bo hue or any of the rice/vermicelli dishes. the bun bo hue is a great change if you re into spicy/tangy broths, and the meat in the rice or vermicelli are super tender and flavourful as for appetizers, the chicken wings are a must - the portion sizes here are big too and the price isn t too bad, i just miss when a large pho was $12 although pho anh vu is not at the top of my list for best vietnamese restaurants in the GTA (west end and sauga do it best..) i think they are definitely one of the better restaurants in scarborough / richmond hill their portions are big and the food here is flavourful, and they have plenty of room to cater to any group size! if you re ever in scarborough or richmond hill i d highly recommend checking them out and supporting them

Beautiful location and wonderful staff! I got the bún bò hu (special spicy beef noodle soup), which was delicious. I would recommend getting less spicy, hu style spices are no joke. Their Vietnamese coffee was a bit different than traditional but incredible nonetheless.

I visited the restaurant today and unfortunately had a highly disappointing experience. Despite waiting for 30 minutes for my meal, it never arrived. Upon inquiry, I was informed that the kitchen was busy, which is understandable, but what followed was even more frustrating. The staff admitted they had missed my order and asked me to wait an additional 10 minutes. As I was in a hurry, I opted to take my meal as a takeaway. What compounded the disappointment was the lack of compensation for the inconvenience caused. Additionally, despite assurances from the staff that they would follow up with me, I had to initiate the conversation again myself. Overall, this experience significantly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience and left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. I hope management takes note of this feedback to improve their service quality and ensure similar incidents are avoided in the future.

Tasty food and really lovely staff! The place has a beautiful atmosphere and very comfortable feel. We ordered a variety of dishes, the pho and spring rolls were particularly delicious. Really enjoyed the viet coffee too. We ll definitely be returning Kid-friendliness: Lots of families and kids in the restaurant. Very family friendly, one of the managers even held our baby!

My spring rolls were soggy and oily. Utter disappointment. Also got the crab spring rolls and they weren t soggy. Compared to Linh Anh in the same plaza, some of the filling for this had shrimp whereas when we had it at Linh Anh, it was all crab. On the plus side, the vegetables were great. Between the spring rolls and the crazy parking lot, surely there are better options.

Food is good at this location. Service is average nothing memorable. Some of the items on their menu are higher than other locations which I find is unprofessional considering it is a franchise so it should be universal across the board.

I m not from the area and popped in for lunch. Beautiful atmosphere, quick service and the food was delicious. Best pho I ve ever had! Highly recommend. I love that we got tea upon arrival. If we re in the area again I d definitely go back.

Great atmosphere with good food. If you are debating between Linh Ahn or Pho Anh Vu in the same mall, this restaurant is suited for bigger party. Their lunch menu is smaller but portions are large and good for group sharing. The restaurant is more spacious with bigger atmosphere. Both have good and fast service. Pho Broth is slightly better at Linh Ahn. They are both debit or cash only.

There was a point where I visited this place once a week because their food is so good. Trying their pho dac biet and bun bo hue is a given, but also do try their garlic chicken wings.

Food was good, but a cockroach fell from the ceiling and onto our table. We still finished our food though. Would come again if there were no more critters.

Authentic Vietnamese food that was very delicious and well balanced. Generous portions. The staff accommodated our large (~15 guests) group and provided great service.

We tried to order 2 special list on the menu, it was a stone pot. The waiter firstly tell us it need to wait for 30 mins to make a pho, and after come back to tell us, the kitchen is very busy, no time for cook it. yhis is so rediculous, if you thjnk make a pho which you lister on your menu as Special is time consuming, why you put it on the menu, and why you open a business. taste super normal, no need to experience it, highly recomend to try elsewhere

I had special house pho at this restaurant. Generous portion and delicious though on the pricier side. Iced coffee was strong and sweet. Seating is limited and a bit crowded though. Overall they have good pho among other Vietnamese restaurants in the city.

Solid Vietnamese cuisine. Food is above average but not the absolute best (7.7/10) and its presentation is pretty. I do wonder why the menu has more Chinese writing than Vietnamese. Staff is nice despite some needy/rude customers.

First time here. We were a party of 6 and were seated promptly. We ordered and the food came pretty fast. They were also attentive and gave my girls small bowls for sharing. We had the rare beef and beef balls pho. They were generous with the meat portion. We had the shrimp roll and spring roll. Pretty standard. I also had the grilled chicken with rice. Very well seasoned. Couldve had a bit more veggies but it was still good. I love the interior. So pretty with the trees and decor. Customer service was amazing...I forgot my satchel and they raced out to give it back to me. Thank you thank you so much! Kid-friendliness: They have boosters seats if needed.

When i try a new pho restaurant, i will use bbh to evaluate its authenticity to Vietnam cousin through the chef skills, passion, and commitment. The chef did not disappoint me and the Bbh is a must. The basic one is better. The spring rolls are authentic. As much as it is not the cheaper version pho, it is worth the buck.

The restaurant was very nice aesthetically. This is suppose to be the new popular pho spot. The pho was pretty good, however I think it was a bit overhyped. I ordered the regular pho, but I think they are famous for their pho tower or ox bone pho. I also ordered crab spring rolls which was just okay. The menu is quite small compared to other pho places. Parking is also a nightmare right in front of the restaurant. Service was friendly.

Went there with a business client. This branch hasnt been open very long. Only regret that my dinner partner couldnt get chicken broth for her pho but they had tasty options. The muscle meat beef Pho was GREAT. It will rank high with my go to Viet spots and give North York Viet spots a good run for their money.

Nice new Vietnamese place in the area. Got the grilled pork with fried egg and it was filling. I also got coconut milkshake which was consistently creamy throughout and not too sweet. My friend got the beef bone pho and it was a large portion and very filling! Will come back again because they are spacious and have good seating.

Loved this place! The decor is warm and unique. Their dishes are very authentic and presented in an eye catching way. You will find dishes here not many other Vietnamese restaurants carry. They also have a beef rib pho that does sell out so dont go too late. Also one of the best crispy rolls in Scarborough.

The food is good, they accommodate requests and its a nice setting the the trees and architecture. Hard to find parking though and I bit pricey compared to other pho places.

Went here to celebrate for lunch and this restaurant was just amazing. The garlic encrusted chicken wings were just so mouthwatering flavourful. The soup was also amazing with those massive beef ribs. The mango salad and shrimp was yummy as well. Pretty much everything we ordered was top notch. Will definitely come here again.

Opted to try this place due to its distant location from their other branches. Found the pho to have a subtle soup base with minimal beef bone flavour and bland in my opinion. The fried spring rolls and rice dish were underwhelming. My boyfriend and I have had better soup and similar dishes at Linh Ann in the same plaza. Food was also expensive compare to other restaurant $30+ for pho. Well probably stick to the other Viet restaurant for now even though the queue is a bit long. One of many locations now open, this one did not disappoint. Came here for lunch on a cold day last week. We got an order of the pho dac biet small and an order of the com tam with grilled pork chop, the grilled chicken and steamed egg (subbed with fried egg) Service was ok, they sat us quickly but forgot to bring tea until we asked 3-4 times while food came out Food was good as always at pho anh vu. I hope the restaurant food quality stays the same as time goes by. Ambience is Vietnamese authentic flair, large space for parties of 4-6 and many small tables. I d give it a 5 but the service irked me with missing tea on a cold frigid day. Always next time ;) 4/5 Parking: Be patient when looking for a spot. Lots of food options in this area keeps the lot busy.

The food was delicious , service was good hopefully they wont change. The place is nice but a bit crowded.

Came in on a Saturday, we got seated right away. No one came to bring us any menus or tea. After about 10 min of waiting we had to tag down the waitress to ask for a menu. We ordered the typical Vietnamese coffee that every restaurant serves. I ve never once had this in my life. They make it backwards here due to the fact they add the ice already and put the condensed milk without mixing it when the coffee is cold the milk cannot be mixed this made the coffee extremely bitter. We also got the fresh roll. The peanut sauce is very watered down. I ve ordered the rare been pho. It was very oily. Not sure if this is supposed to represent the northern version or what but in every spoonful you can taste the oil which has a very gross aftertaste.
