404 Old Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1C 1B6, Canada
This Scarborough gem is a MUST HAVE for breakfast!!!!! I was alittle weary in trying a new breakfast place based on previous Google reviews as we were severely disappointed with our last breakfast offering. Most of the reviews were good about the food and service but what had me very worried was the comments about bad service due to race. I like to form my own opinions and I'm happy to say those comments didn't impact our experience. This is a real Mom and Pop diner that has been a Scarborough staple for over 70 years. It was homey and clean. We were warmly greeted by Barbara who invited us to sit wherever we wanted. She took our orders promptly without writing anything down. You could see she's been doing this for many years and it shows. The food arrived quickly; it was a generous portion and DELICIOUS!!!! I managed to take a picture of everyone's food but mine lol. I had the meat lovers omelete with sliced tomatoes as I've been eating low carb diet. Barbara without hesitation was ok with it me substituting the potatoes and bread as she's been on a low carb journey too and LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!! Barbara came to check on us to make sure everything was good. The boys rated the meal 9.5 out of 10 which is amazing as their super critical of EVERYTHING lol The restaurant patrons and staff was WELL DIVERSE. Maya was super friendly when were settling the bill. I was extremely impressed and cannot wait to come back again!!!!
Came due to reviews and pics. Server, a movie star good looking male, started off great, friendly and upbeat, and went downhill from there. Had to ask for water 3 times, it was lukewarm. No ice?? Ok. No offer of coffee refill. No syrup for pancakes, had to ask for it and by the time I received the syrup packets, pancakes were cold. Sausages were such a werid texture I left all of them. Eggs were cooked a perfect sunny side up. And the pancakes, although cold, were excellent! Bathrooms were dirty and had no paper towels. To be fair, the whole place had a grimy feel to it. When we went to pay the bill our server almost seemed mad at us and had another server finish our bill payment. Would I return for the cheap food? I don't think so.
This old school diner is straight out of the 60's with plenty of old school charm. The exterior of the restaurant even has that old greasy spoon look. The menu and food is basic diner fair and is done really well. The weekday breakfast time is not too busy so service was reasonably quick.
Been coming to this diner for decades and it has never disappointed me. Really solid diner food and experience. We had roast beef with potatoes and vegetables, and chopped steak with potatoes and vegetables. Garden salad preceeded the mains. Really excellent value!
One of the best diners I’ve ever been to in my life. Breakfast combo was superb. Delicious. Filling. Great value for money. Great atmosphere and service. The vibes were all perfect. I’ll be back!
We arrived at 11 am on a Sunday. Parking was tight, but we found a spot. There were 2-3 open tables, but when we left, there was a lineup out the door. It's definitely a very busy place. Love the vibe of this diner. I felt I was in the 50s! Loads of families (so, very family friendly). Our server was extremely friendly with a touch of humour. He enjoys his job. The coffee is great. I ordered eggs, bacon, potatoes, and rye toast. I was offered sliced tomatoes (you can have 'em fresh or grilled). Highly recommend. Breakfast for 3 was $40.
My family owned this place in the 70’s, my uncle before us and other relatives after us. There were constantly lineups when we ran it and the food my Uncle cooked was top notch! We went back to experience it again. It was half full. Very little has been done since we left. In some ways this is good for the diner ambience but there are some ceiling tiles that need replacing. We ordered the hot Hamburger and hot turkey sandwiches and I have to say the food is still very good. I just wish a little more care was taken in terms of its maintenance. Great value, two great meals under $30.
I have mixed emotions on this place. The food was really good but the establishment is run down. Even though they did some touch ups years back there is a lot of dust, rust, and even food stuck on things that it should not be stuck on. The ceiling has a lot of water damage and stains. I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen looks like. We waited 40 minutes for breakfast this morning. The coffee was good but not real hot. The place is not very big but it was packed and there was only one waitress. She did an excellent job keeping up with everything. This is not a place that I would frequent but again, the food was very good. You would have to check it out for yourself before you form an opinion.
I love Ted s Diner! Like the clock stopped working 70 years ago. This is no attempt to look vintage, it IS vintage and a gem to be experienced. So I also shot some photos while I was there. I ll be back for sure.
If you like cozy, off the beaten path, not comercialize, and homy, this is a place you may want to try out. Its been a long time since I saw a diner like this. Food
Friendly and cozy atmosphere, a good place to meet friends.
Sometimes all you want is a solid, well made meal that you can count on. Teds doesnt try to be anything it isnt. From the classic decor to the reasonable prices, there isnt much more you could ask from a diner. Come hungry and leave happy, thats the Teds way! Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family. From 9 months to 99 years, youll find something to love. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy street access
Been there since 1954. Old time restaurant. Nice and cozy. Great all day breakfast.
Great food paired with a cozy atmosphere and good prices. What more can you ask for?
Pretty average, cool wall!
Sever was wonderful, friendly, and very efficient.
This is a classic 60s style diner. The atmosphere feels like it. We came for breakfast and were sadly disappointed based on the quality of the food. The server did as well as she could, but clearly very busy handling the entire restaurant. The scrambled eggs were both dry and wet at the same time. Their consistency was hard. They were basically unseasoned. The peameal bacon was over cooked, lost its softness and lost most of its flavour. The French toast was good, so were the pancakes, however the maple syrup is clearly not 100% real. It tasted like a mix of real and fake. We had certainly hoped for better based on reviews.
I loved the vibe of this diner it s so family-friendly, and it really felt like stepping back into the 50s! Our server was incredibly friendly with just the right touch of humor. Parking: It s a little hideaway diner with not much for parking Kid-friendliness: They do have quite a few meal options for kids
Classic Toronto diner with all the breakfast standards. Good ownership & a local favourite.
Enjoyed Steak and Eggs . Birthday treat
Prices are reasonable.
Friendly service, simple old school diner vibes, tasty breakfast options...what more can you ask for? Oh and the prices are fair :)
Love this place!
Scarborough Landmark
In MANY movies and tv shows Teds has a classic diner look. Many people LOVE the menu, coffee, pie and rice pudding. Wait time? Take your chances. Parking: Depends on what time and day. Sometimes you can get a spot right out front.
There really needs to be an option for no stars. Teds lives up to the name Dive. I used to think the only redeeming quality was the food because the service has been 10/10 unacceptable every time I go. But as my husband is keeled over, I think not. Nothing I hate more than people in customer facing jobs who hate their jobs.
Nice homey diner. Cheap but Good food, fast service, nice staff and owner!!! We crave for Teds food every week!! Our new favorite place to eat!!!
I recently visited Teds Restaurant at 404 Old Kingston Rd in Scarborough, and I had an absolutely delightful experience. This place truly captures the essence of a classic diner with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and prompt service. The décor is charmingly retro, and the ambiance is warm and inviting perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The menu offers a great variety of comfort food, and I was impressed by the generous portions and reasonable prices. I ordered the classic bacon and eggs breakfast, which was cooked to perfection. The eggs were just right, the bacon crispy, and the home fries were deliciously seasoned. My dining companion had the Teds Famous Club Sandwich, and it was packed with fresh ingredients and flavor. What really stood out was the quality of the food and the genuine care the staff took in ensuring we enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure our coffee cups were always full. We also had a slice of their homemade pie for dessert, which was a perfect way to end the meal. It tasted just like it came out of a grandmother s kitchen pure comfort in every bite. Teds Restaurant is a gem in Scarborough. Whether youre looking for a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a nostalgic diner experience, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon.
Finally made it to Teds. Had heard about it for years and years, but never managed to make it there. LOVE the retro vibe, feels like very little has changed since it opened. Nice waitress, run off her feet, but very pleasant. Good, big breakfast, Im sitting here afterward wanting a nap. Definitely would go back, but have to time it right - probably 20-30 minutes after we got there it was packed. Parking: Parking is a right pain
Havent been there in about 18 years. Still a great spot to grab some brunch! We made it just before the rush, thank goodness because it got crazy busy. Our server was friendly and professional. Food was good, classic breakfast yummies.
The best breakfast I first went to Kathryns dinner on kingston the pancakes fat and uncooked chewy and the eggs were over cooked looked like leather I returned the food and came to AMAZING TEDS. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING...eggs cooked perfectly, the best bacon I had in Scarborough crispy and the customer service is outstanding. The lady working brought the food out to my car while I was waiting, she didnt have to but she did. Thank you Teds family for great food and great service.
Unreliable hours. Used a lot for movie and TV shoots, which is great, but owners should try to post updates on Google etc. to save people the trip when they re closed.
2-2-2 all the way.
Unwelcoming place and staff. If your a regular and white they smile and talk to you all nice and stuff. This place is like something out of the 1960s when it comes to racism. If you are not white dont plan on getting served quickly or even acknowledged throughout your meal. Rather shocking, I dont know how they survived this long with so many minorities in Scarborough. Breakfast was cold , sausages taste salty and full of freezer burn, low quality and not all that cheap. Much better quality of food ambience and service elsewhere in Scarborough. I still gave a tip in case the server was having a bad day- but no thank you or good bye.
Food was out quickly. Server was very friendly. A small wait on coffee refills but from what I saw it was just the one server and there was at least 8 other tables and people coming and going. Homefries went seasoned, easy fix with the salt and pepper on the table. Place does look a little outdated and could use a deep clean but still clean enough I would return. Parking: Theres about 3 or 4 right in front of the door and some street parking 10 feet away. Theres parking in the back, not tons but enough. Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs available , you can pull your child right to the table with you to share your food. They are very reasonably priced for child drinks.
This was the first time in 10 years that I went back to Teds. The food was fine but the service was incredibly slow.20 minutes to place the order another 35 until the food came out. Will not be back.
I wish I can give 0 the most unwelcoming place ever maybe the color of my skin was the problem thats all I can say never again for me and whats funny is I always really wanted to go ther but I havent got a time but that day my sister came to visit me I begged her because she is pregnant but very disappointed but the food was good. We enjoyed it .
Service was fast and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was not spectacular, but absolutely nothing to complain about. Large portions. Parking: Very busy at the time we went and had to park across the street
Havent been there since the late 80s... certainly a flashback!
Great food, staff and atmosphere a must go to with family and friends you will definitely make this a regular place to go
Great food and quick service!
Great service and food.Parking can be limited behind the restaurant but there is a parking lot across the street.
Food is good service was excellent and prompt and just nice
This Allday breakfast restaurant diner is in my top 5. Just know its Retro and cozy.
Very good food, friendly service and good pricing. But, the place does seem very rugged, lots of stains and tears in the seating. A little humble, but also unappealing for my friends who didnt want to sit in it all.
Always a perfect simple breakfast. Love all the nostalgic decor. Great coffee. Quick service.
Every December it has become a ritual to go here Very very old restaurant that has outlasted all gentrification of Toronto Its an old school diner I hope they never change Very affordable breakfast
Feel like home :) Kid-friendliness: Our kid loves Teds. Food : 5/5 |
This is my second time ordering an egg sandwich from this location. Asking the eggs to be over easy. The eggs are over well done hard, try, no salt like I asked . When I called to express this was the second time the person who answered the phone asked if I wanted to speak to the chef, when he came in the line he asked me what can he even do . Terrible customer service ! It even happens when I ve dined in
Teds, the hidden gem of Scarborough. Most of you who havent been to east Scarborough wont know about this place but its the actual star of my community. Feature in many movies and TV shows Teds brings you that small town diner in the city. Now, I went in for the 222 ( 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and sausages. Let me tell you, the food was great. I was greeted with a cup of coffee and my choice of breakfast or full menu. 9.5/10 on the all around food and vibe. 10/10 on service.
Welcome to a real diner. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible Food : 5/5 |
A neighbourhood icon! Awesome food with great portions and value. Friendly, efficient service. You just have to try Teds.
Five stars easily for Teds Food was good. Not overly oily like some breakfast places make them. Servings were generous which was nice in these days of shrinkflation. Service was top notch even though we went there at peak hour lunch on a weekend. Atmosphere is unbeatable for an old time dining experience. No wonder Teds is so often used for movies and TV shows.
Dive restaurant with great cheap food. My family has been going here for 50 years.
Went to Teds for lunch - ordered a toasted western on rye. I added cheese and sliced tomato - it was hot, piled high and delicious! Best fries ever on the side. Ordered coleslaw too - came with dill pickle slices - also delicious. Coffee was hot and steady. Waitress was professional and on the ball. Great experience. Excellent value for the money. Restaurant is diner style with a 60s feel - will be back. Parking: Free parking on the street, in front of Teds and out back Kid-friendliness: Family environment - kids welcome - kids menu - good prices
Delicious food and good price. Will definitely go again
This restaurant has an old-school look and feel to it. I thought the food was mediocre, however, the potatoes that came with the Breakfast Combo tasted DELICIOUS! There was only one waitress so it was hard to get her attention when it got busy.
Awesome old style diner
Great breakfast with big servings
Great breakfast place
Quaint little restaurant serving Diner style food. My Son had pancakes said it was really good.
Still good
Food is fantastic, Quinn is so down to earth awesome
Limited menu on Sunday
Quaint and yummy hangover food
I love going to Teds, its always amazing, (Pun intended) Food is always great, staff are great. If I had to pick something negative it would be the lack of parking, but there is almost always plenty of parking across the street at the plaza.
Weve been to Teds on several occasions and usually have amazing service. Today, not so much. Service was very slow, order not taken properly, refills on our coffee never came. We had the Western Omlette which had too much onion. Ill give it a pass today because I know its an amazing little place and everyone has an off day.
Great food and a homey feeling
Come here every week for breakfast, great spot with more than reasonable prices. Servers do top notch job!
You can t get better than Teds!!! The food is always that home style cooking you crave from a diner! Most of the servers are amazing, weekends could be better but during the week it s always on point and the coffee cup never runs empty!! Definitely worth the drive to Highland Creek!!
Small older booth style restaurant Breakfast basic no added pieces of fruit or anything fancy however there are several choices on menu for breakfast. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs at entrance
Omg most wonderful place interior is fairly authentic and breakfast. Pancake was out of the world. It was fluffy tree at the same time and bacon. Oh my gosh I need to try even French toast with your delicious and coffee was amazing to your choice. Reversible working very hard. It s a nice place. It feels like I was traveling back in time. I would love to come back here.
Service and food and price
Old favorite you cant go wrong.
This is the perfect small-town diner. The workers were absolutely lovely. All of them had worked there for years and it was so fun to talk to them about the development of the diner. Several shows and commercials have been filmed in this little spot! The food was AMAZING. Our milkshakes were the perfect consistency and the food was quality.
This place has been around since I was a kid. Its changed hands once or twice over the years but theyve kept it the same. Food has always been good and friendly service. The place could use a little cosmetic upgrading starting with the seats at the booths. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible unfortunately.
Awsone down home family feeling great food first time in 40 years since there last went to high school near there nothing has changed dont miss out you will love it
Went here for pancakes and an authentic Canadian diner. Did not disappoint. Lovely friendly service. Amazing pancakes. Better than Tim Hortons for sure!!
Routinely visit for a great reliable breakfast.
What can I say, Teds has been around for ever. Typical dive diner, but good and inexpensive breakfast.
Great restaurant friendly people work here. Food was really good and have decent prices. Very clean. Very retro. Love it. Wish they opened for dinner.
Great little greasy spoon breakfast restaurant. Friendly staff, great service, great food and classic atmosphere.
Its Teds. So like always great all around. If you want that old-fashioned atmosphere this is the place.
Old school diner that has ok food and great prices. Place is clean and service is friendly.
For old times sake I am not giving a lesser score. However, we had not been for a while, but were really disappointed in the food. The portion sizes were very meager and the plates were not put together very well. Also my roast beef seemed as though it had been reheated in a microwave. It was dry, leathery and had an off taste. The worst impression though was how filthy the booths were. The seats were stained and in terrible repair. Perhaps they are waiting for another production crew to fix them. We chose to sit at the counter instead. The vinyl seats seemed like a safer option. Its also time to fix those stairs outside. They are unsafe and the rise is too high for people with mobility issues. They should also replace the chairs with ones that are higher than 15 . Many people have issues sitting in such low seats. Dont think we will be back.
Great food and staff. The breakfast 2 2 2 is a must order. Only downside is parking lot and the dining room could use a lot of freshening up.
Love coming here. But closed at 3 means closed at 2... Will only let you do take out after 2 and will not let you sit
Good portion! Good food! Great service! A local favourite for sure.
My in law family talks about this restaurant all the time and my partner wanted our son and me to experience something he used to experience with his late grandfather. I was excited since I ve been wanting to try it since he s been telling me, the minute we got there, we were warned by my mother in law & niece about our waitress attitude, I understand being the only waitress is overwhelming but I ve never been so in welcomed at a restaurant in my life and being indigenous, it happens a lot but this experience was obviously not racism just overwhelming but no matter how much you have to keep up, you don t take it out on what looked like your biggest table at the moment. As I was done making my order, I was about to order my sons single pancake and she disregarded my son & my niece and her friend mentioned the look she had when she had to go back to me to simply write down a single pancake. We were still waiting for refills after getting our food, despite being by the cash and trying to get her attention that seemed to just be ignored by her - that I ended up sharing my drink with my niece. The food was good but after a half hour, my partner and I started not to feel good and as we mentioned that, my niece spoke up and started talking about how her bacon didn t taste right. We didn t want to assume anything right away since we aren t early morning breakfast eaters so we went on with our day. This was Tuesday the 1st, the next day wasn t feeling the greatest but didn t think anything of it until Thursday morning when I had to go to the hospital and now I m hit with a bacteria infection from food poisoning. I m hoping it s not from the restaurant as I would like to come back and hope for a better experience but cant guarantee when that will be I ve never experience food poisoning this intense.
Great food!
Great old spot. Just the way I remember it.
Fantastic portions, great food, reasonable prices.
A Highland Creek culinary fixture and a location for countless movies and TV shoots get your family and friends to Teds as soon as possible. Hot coffee and the best breakfast east of The Don River are what will bring you, the atmosphere and great service will bring you back time and again. Parking is tough, but youll find a spot. Its on Old Kingston Road, so travel back in time to Teds today.
I ate there recently, somebody I know told me that the staff there arent top friendly with people who arent white. I wanted to disregard it as maybe wrong profiling. But, sad to say I am very wrong. Some of the servers there seemed to not take my as seriously as the other white customers. They didnt give me condiments to my food. I felt like it took a bit longer to get to me. My food came cold for some reason. It seems like to me the staff doesnt want to serve anyone else who is not white. Just my impression, I dont understand especially in 2023 that this behavior exists. PLEASE HIRE NON RACIST STAFF, learn that Canada is a mutli-racial country.
My boyfriend took me here. His parents used to take him here when he was little. It brought back so many memories for him. And the food... huge portions with low prices. Everything was delicious! The staff are fast and friendly. I highly recommend Teds!
ONE OF THE SERVERS ASSAULTED MY SON. He ripped the menu out of his hands, knocking him over. He didnt make eye contact with anyone at the table and didnt say a word. After, when I confronted the server he gave an insincere apology and said my son was distracting him, so it was 50-50. They deleted my last review.
Ill forever love this spot ..been going her for many many yrs
if someone were to ask me, is there a restaurant that serves food from your culture -- I would have to send them here.
My go to when I come home to Canada
An institution in Centennial/Rouge for over half a century. Good food at a reasonable price.
Great breakfast spot, its been here for years
I am on a quest to try all of the older breakfast spots and i was unfortunately disappointed by this one. The ambience is exactly what i want; old school diner feel. Excellent. Unfortunately the excellence stops there - The home fries had that off taste from old oil which made me feel sick instantly. This is always a sign to run for me. If you cheap out with the basic thing like oil that has such a huge effect on everything you make, you will def fall short in other areas. The best thing abt it was the rye toast. My feta omelette came packed with feta i will admit, but the eggs were rubbery. Coffee had like oil residue on the top. I tipped generously as i always do because the servers were smiley and courteous. Will not return. Dissapointed. Parking: Park across the street in the little plaza
I cannot think of another restaurant in Scarborough where you get better value for you money. Generous portions at very reasonable prices, along with service that you wished more restaurants had.
The best restaurant in Scarborough for all day breakfast Great prices and service Food
A nice slice of authentic breakfast diner atmosphere, with a reliably delicious breakfast
May I take a stand and say, I say, this is true blue environment that keeps the passion of bacon alive in the spirit of cholesterol.
I love old diners. Teds fits the bill perfectly. When I dont feel like making breakfast..you know where to find me
Very good all round and reasonable prices too!
Ive come here many times over the years since very young, and I am now 40 years old. Mom and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Im glad youve stayed strong over the years to continue to provide high excellence in food service.
The portions of food are large, the place has a homey feel,i have been going here for years, watch out weekends are super busy and its always fresh tasty food with good prices to match, waitresses are friendly and fast to serve you.
Reacher approved!
Been going here since I was a kid and it is still the same great food and service
Working today Easter. Was in the area and ordered sausage and eggs! Food was amazing!! Definitely will return!
No good
Excellent food, service friendly but a little slow .
Popular and busy place. A hidden gem.Terrific food! Great service.
Such a gem.
cute little diner
Food was good but waitress had bad attitude and down right rude, not the first time either will not go back there until they fix the problem and I have heard this from many regulars whom also stop going there, been a go to place for decades not anymore......
Me and my friend visited yesterday morning for breakfast, we liked the food but oh my god the waitress is full of attitude and behaving as if she is the owner of that place. She is so rude and arrogant. She is slow with her service and is so lazy with the orders. We were two people and she just gave us one menu, we asked for extra milk she was late with it aswell, she did not offer us water and we had to ask for it twice. The plates were not clean and she was constantly being rude. Some of my friends asked me not to visit as they experienced similar confrontation with the waitress. I highly recommend you to replace her and get someone who is not arrogant and respects people. Very very very very bad customer service, such a shame.
Havent been to this spot since I was a teenager (years ago) I used to frequent it often with friends and always had a great experience. Wanted my good friend to experience what I once knew to be a great restaurant with great food and service so we decided to dine there a few days ago. We were extremely disappointed with our experience from beginning to end: Not sure if someone called in sick the day I went but there was only 1 staff present to serve an abundance of people who filtered in shortly after we did. We waited patiently for our server to arrive and take our order and when she finally did arrive we felt pressured to rush ordering our food but we had questions about the menu ...she gave us short answers and hurried off. There was no warmth or friendliness in the way she served us. During the 20 minutes that we waited for our food, not once did she come by to check on us to see if we would like refills -or anything- while we continued to wait for our food. When the food finally did arrive, we realized it was moderately warm...as though the food had been sitting around for a bit. We were so hungry at this point we ate everything. Food was okay but definitely not fresh off the press. We also noticed that said server was often on her phone when she could have been tending to the customers that were already in the restaurant also waiting long periods for their meals. It was abundantly obvious she was much more pleasant to those customers that appeared to regular patrons. Every customer should be treated with warmth, caring and friendliness -unfortunately this server did not display those qualities with us. A very unpleasant, unprofessional experience all around. Very disappointed, will not go back, do not recommend. I suggest the owner look into educating their servers on how to display professional, friendly customer service - you would think that is a commen sense trait in this industry but I guess not!
Sunday July 17. We had a young man. He was the best waiter I think I ve ever had. This boy will be able to work in the very best restaurants in Toronto as he gets older. Thank you young man (I wish I had his name)
A Highland Creek staple for a classic breakfast. Great service and always great food.
It was annoying listening to the person working there complain they cant get anyone to work there because young people dont want to work these days. Food was ok, but not like it used to be .
Great food, reasonably priced and great service. Old diner decor. Bathroom hall outside and inside could be brighter.
Nice atmosphere, clean, good food, one waitress only who was busy and didnt offer a hot water refill for my tea, parking is scarce. Still, I like this little mom & pop restaurant.
Plaid shirts were in then out then in again, probably about 4 times over the last 40 years. They re always in at Ted s. You like diners because they re comfortable and you don t have to take off your hat sitting in a booth and the coffee s good? Done. I think the omelettes are bigger now too. But the plaid shirts are the same.
Service from Karey was Second to None . She is an Excellent Waitress !
I love the old school diner feel that Teds has with very cool blue seating. I tried the steak and it was amazingly cooked to perfection.
Whole experience great. Clean environment with friendly staff. Club house really tasty. We look forward to our next visit
Excellent as always. Great place for breakfast.
I was there about 50 years ago. It hasnt changed.
After decades I still enjoy the food and atmosphere! It s always fun to see it in movies too
Only 2 servers, long wait between coffee & food. Missing bread & jam, when it finally arrived, it was cold. Not going back!
I really liked eating, here, havent been back in a few years but I remember the food being really good. The pancakes were fluffy, moist and delicious. Breakfast was always served as you ordered it and it was always came ot hot. I remember the chicken fingers being big, juicy and plump and very tasty. But, my favorite was always the fries and gravy; the fries were always crispy and hot and covered in a thick and rich brown gravy, sinfully delicious! Id be back if they had vegan food. A few movies have been filmed here, also. A great diner with good atmosphere and good food.
Great food, reasonable prices. Old fashioned decor.
Local diner thats got good food, friendly staff. Good service. A lot of breakfast options.
Great service and food.
Great breakfast dinner generous portions. Diner. Atmosphere. Has been in business for decades. Love it here
Nostalgia is on the menu here. Step back in time to a simpler era over classic breakfast and lunch dishes. We were served quickly and efficiently, with enthusiasm from our server. We didnt catch his name name, but hes a pro! Our food came out quickly, was hot and adequately seasoned and the price was right. We love Teds!
