Food is just amazing! Their Nellore Chepala Pulusu the highlight, I just cant get enough of it. A must try if youre in the area.

Their biryani is so bad..It is doesn t taste like biryani s.the rice is so dry it feels like they have made a common rice for every biryanis.very disappointing.

Staff are very accommodating and mindful of reducing spice if needed. I still opted for the regular spice. Will come back.

Went in at 11:45 in the night, ordered a paneer 65 , majestic chicken , paneer do pyaaza and a chicken dum biryani . Believe me or not best food and service. The blend of spice enhanced the taste.

Recently we have visited this restaurant and I must say I regret it . We have tried Starters : Gobi 65 & chilli corn Gobi 65 was the worst appetizer I ever had . It wasn t fried and it was so soft that I hate that. And also we ordered fried rice and it was too spicy . And we have ordered Mandi in non-veg too. It was a disaster. And also they have taken too much time to bring the order. I will not visit again.

They didn t added Mandi in their main menu but you should ask them for it. They will serve you freshly.

Absolutely loved dining at these place .The food is genuinely delicious, and the team deserves a big thumbs up! I particularly enjoyed the Kakinada Royyala Veppudu - it was cooked to perfection! However, I have a tiny suggestion to take the Nellore Chapalu Pulusu to the next level: adding a tad more tamarind juice would elevate the flavors. Currently, its a bit understated, but with a slight adjustment, itll be absolutely fantastic! Overall, great job by the chef Your dishes showcase the authentic taste of Andhra cuisine.

Tried chicken majestic, chicken manchuria, gongura chicken biryani, veta mamsam biryani, junnu. Everything is tasty and delicious. Must try junnu, it resembles homely indian taste. Thanks Rajan, your service was excellent and noteworthy.

Ive been here a couple of times, trying both dine-in and takeout. The food is consistently excellent, with quality and quantity both being exceptional. Its one of the best Indian restaurants in Scarborough - a true hidden gem.

If you are looking for nellore chepala pulusu this is the best place in Toronto , Kakinada royyla vepudu is a must try !! Only place to get fresh junnu best thing is they Don t add food colors like other restaurants they are trying to keep the food as homely as possible which is far more impressive!!!

Recently came across this amazing restaurant, and tried their famous biryani, panner do pyaza , paneer schezwan and mutton. I cant stress enough how delicious everything tasted and cherry oj top was their gulab jamun along wirh their mango lasi. Cant wait to go back and enjoy

We recently dined here, and the experience was delightful. The ambience was inviting and elegantly decorated, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. We indulged in a variety of dishes, each one surpassing our expectations. The Chili Baby Corn and Apollo Fish were wonderfully seasoned starters that set the tone for the evening. The Paneer Do Pyaaza and Butter Chicken were rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the soft Garlic Naan and Butter Naan. The Chicken Tikka Biryani was aromatic and cooked to perfection. To wash it all down, we enjoyed the refreshing Mango Lassi and the creamy Sweet Lassi. The meal concluded on a high note with the delectable Gulab Jamun. Overall, the exceptional food and warm atmosphere made for a fantastic dining experience.

Great food and excellent service. Special thanks to Rehman and Surya for giving us such warm smiling service. That makes so much of a difference to the entire dining experience. For food, we had the lamb garam masala (forget the actual name as in the menu)- this was 10/10 on taste and quantity- super choice for spicy meat lovers. We had the special chicken spicy biryani: fresh and super tasty (perfectly spicy). The mango lassi was pretty much the same like everywhere, but somehow it tasted like a fresh preparation.

Tried this place and loved their Gongura Chaps Vepudu, methi Chaman, Junnu, Chicken fried rice. Definitely recommended for their special Andhra style food

Worst biryani in Scarborough, careful with the meat! It smells raw.

These people are so unprofessional and when we ordered paneer tikka masala it tasted like we are eating chill powder curry. Biryani was very dry and tasteless. Be careful guys don t ever visit. It is such a low quality food. It has only SPICE in all curries but not taste.

chicken dum biryani is the best in Toronto. the guy on the counter and the man from the kitchen, both are exceptional in service. i visited for take out many times and never saw them stressed or tired. there is always a smile on their faces

I had the chicken tikka and paneer tikka for appetizers and loved it! The mint chutney is the perfect kick you need. We also tried the chicken fried rice, it had lots of eggs and a heavy egg flavour! The service was impeccable and everyone kind and polite! I can t wait to visit again soon!

Meat in the Biryani is raw and please dont ask for spicy you will definitely regret. Dont even go for staters it even too worst. Try to avoid this restaurant. There are just charging to much money for this kind of food.

Both were very tasty, and the garlic naan is flavourful, thin and perfectly cooked. I wish we weren t outside of their delivery zone. Will definitely come back.

I had to meet my Indian friend in Scarborough, so we decided to meet at TSV. I didnt know what to expect and the place doesnt strike you as a decent restaurant. However, the food there is simply amazing, it is now my choice spot for Indian food in GTA. I had murgh badami soup and chicken madjestic, both were outstanding.

Terrible service! We used to be a loyal customer, ordering big orders regularly, but now that the restaurant has gotten busier, they seem to have forgotten about their loyal patrons. Despite my consistent support, theyve failed to recognize us or acknowledge our loyalty. The quality of service has significantly declined, and its evident that they prioritize new customers over their loyal ones. Very disappointing!

If youre around STC, this is the place to definitely try. Their menu has a lot of varieties. Service is super quick. They have newly renovated too. Palak paneer, paneer butter masala, garlic bread, mango lassi, veg Manchurian, baby corn Manchurian were absolutely delicious. Their naan does not contain egg. Also they have jain and Swaminarayan options available.

The spicy Venue lives up to their name. It truly is spicy and it s no wonder because tjye make all their spices in-house. We were served and Easter feast and it was a feast for the eyes and stomach I don t even remember the names of All the dishes but all were made fresh to order and service was great. Definitely worth it to check out if you re in the area.

Staff is friendly and quick bringing out food. Food tasted good with a nice spice. Thought it might be too spicy for me but it was close to my limit. They probably can make it even more spicy for those interested in even more spice.

Food was awesome, tried the veta mutton biryani and chicken 65 biryani! Chicken Biriyani was spicy to our liking! Sweet lassi was good and starters were yummy! Only concern was that it was small place and can hear people talk from next tables so clearly and it was disturbing! Highly recommend for food!

Worst Biryani ever. I ordered chicken 65 biryani and it wasnt a taste of biryani and I didnt find any chicken pieces but full of flour. I dont want to give even 1 star but it was not possible. Waste of money

Try ordering for eggys fryy you will get with lot of oil oil oil more oil dancing with onions fried with two eggs. They charge for 260 bucks on plate and it yuck and pretty much sure why heart stricken are coming . Why r u running these things. Don t you realise when you send the dish.

Must try their Chicken Majestic (10/10)and Chicken Dum biryani (11/10). If you like fish : Fish fry with naan bread is worth trying(8/10). Tandoori Gobi is Okayish. My veg friends mentioned Kadai Paneer biryani is good too. Mango Lassi 9/10

I came across this place by fluke. I was going to the Starlite West Indian restaurant and decided to try this spot. The actual spot isnt much to look at inside but the food was amazing! So glad I came across this spot. My new Indian food joint.

You will get a good tasting Dum Biryani, my tummy says yum yum when eating food from SPICY VENUE. We ordered the HYDERABAD CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI and MURGH MALAI KEBAB/ NAAN. The rice was so soft and the meat was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The spice levels were on point and our garlic naan was very soft. Now I know where I will order my biryanis from. NOW Spicy Venue has become my favorite place to eat Indian food in Scarborough. Recently we saw this new restaurant when we visited nearby temple and wanted to give it a try, and we are glad for that, finally found my inner peace after eating yummiest Hyderabad Chicken Biryani, Since then we are trying to get a pickup at least once a week from Spicy Venue. This is an Indian Restaurant that serves authentic South Indian food. Their food is literally so good. And I personally recommend to try their Chicken Dum Biryani, Murgh Malai Kebab and Nellore Chepala Pulusu We went to many popular Indian restaurants near by but Dum Biryani at Spicy Venue is the best so far. Their overall service is also good enough. This place is a must try for South Indian food lovers.

Visited 2-3times and can say they have good quality and tasty food. Tried following disges so far.. Awadhi chicken tikka: it had authentic taste. Chicken malai tikka: really loved it..no extra cream and butter... taste was really apt. You can try it if you dont like mu h cream and butter in the food. Dal makhani was okay Schezwan paneer: first time it was really tasty but second time it was bit salty. Overall will recommend this restaurant. Next time I will be trying their fish dishes Vegetarian options: Good options to choose from vegetarian section. Schezwan panner is good for the starters.

We had a good dining experience here. The food is so tasty the chef has put some efforts in making it to that mark. We have ordered chicken dum biryani, gongura royyala vepudu soo yummy one of my fav . They made it fresh and served hot . Special thanks to the chef for taking extra care for the orders. At the end we got junnu as complimentary dessert tasted amazing .

The best Hyderabadi biryani I ever ate in Canada!!

Been here in canada for almost 2 years now and went here randomly, ordered mutton biryani and chicken 65 it naan and by far this is the closest to home I ve felt here. Reminded me of hyderabadi shaadi ka khana The host was super nice and friendly. Said if you hyderabadi s are saying the biryani is good, then it has to good Highly recommended, will definitely visit again

This place serves authentic Telugu food that is really spicy. If you like that kind of food, you will love it here. But if you can t handle the heat, you might need to ask them to turn it down a notch.

Really fresh delicious food! The flavors are outstanding.. We only had vegetarian food so I can vouch that their vegetarian food is great and they have a lot of veg options.

Worst food service ever in Toronto, we placed an order for Appolo fish, shrimp and gongura chicken over the phone. And they delivered it very late and the fish is not appolo, the chicken is not properly cooked. Food was tasting really bad. We tried speaking to the manager and the response from him about their werent good. His reponded that its their special recepies to make food awful , spoil the cutomers health.Main point to note is the quantities-you can count on fingertips. Hope the manager and staff will start tasting food from other indian restaurants before naming their food items as Gongura chciken, Appolo fish etc...

We were having an office party and wanted to have some biryani. We order chicken dum biryani for 10people and kadai paneer biryani for 2. The quantity was good and taste was out of this world. Would recommend you to taste their biryani. It was spicy as we ask them to make it a little bit extra spicy. Overall the quantity and quality was good, specially the rice, that was not dry. I forgot to take some pictures but you should go for it.

We order Hyderabad chicken dum biryani and veg biryani both were so tasty we also asked them for extra dahi and they didnt charged for it and said it is for kids. I recently visited The Spicy Venue at Scarborough, Toronto and was really impressed by their food! Quality of the food is top notch and so flavourful! Spoke to the manager of this restaurant and came to know that they create their own spices and all breads are also freshly made. We had their Dal Makhani, Chicken Kadhai, Palak Paner, Chicken Hariyali Kebab, Tandoori Chicken, Baby Corn Chilly, Paneer Kebab, Butter Naan, Chicken Biryani, Mango and Normal Lassi. All the dishes were equally good but the best two we loved were Dal Makhani and Chicken Kadhai. Definitely recommend this Indian Cuisine Restaurant!

Tried this restaurant recently found everything yummy. It has lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. I like dal makhani palak paneer , chicken biryani and Kadhai chicken and chicken kebabs. Halal foods.. confirmed verbally by the lady serving /taking the order . Also has a copy of the halal certificate from the poultry source, at the counter. All the dishes ordered are very fresh and delicious. Family restaurant environment, not very flashy, but neat and clean. If you like spicy foods, this should be the place for you. Visited this place for dinner, service was really slow ordered chicken 65, chicken tikka masala and mutton biryani . Did not even get our full order have to cancel biryani after waiting for more than an hour for our order. The place was not busy and had only 3 tables to serve. Food was good but not worth the wait.

Pradeep and Happy , both are key person at dine in. It was amazing food , soft and crispy naan is a jewel. We ordered Methi Masala , so delicious. Must order paneer biryani , very delicious.

Just a food place, nothing impressive.

The portions are relatively smaller compared to the previous time. The pepper chicken I ordered was wrapped with some other stuff, and there seems to be no chicken inside it, apparently.

Ordered Chilli Prawns, Majestic Chicken and Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani. The food was nothing worth mentioning. The Chilli prawns were very spicy. The Majestic Chicken was just turmeric and Garlic. The Hyderabadi Biriyani was not at all good. The atmosphere was dead but service was good.

A proper homemade butter chicken. I could actually taste the butter! The lunch special is fine value at $10.99, if a bit stingy on the boneless chicken chunks. You also get a dal makhani thats even more flavorful and goes well with the generous portion of rice and naan. Call ahead to pick up. The food is made to order and worth the wait.

Genuine Hyderabadi Biryani

Worst biryani Ive ever had. Its 80% rice with very little chicken in the middle. Tastes very bland and salty.

Good experience with service and food

Ordered kodi vepudu and chicken 65 biryani.The taste of kodi vepudu was so bad.Literally the masala was raw.We asked for a replacement but the new one tasted horrible too.The biryani was below average.The chicken was rubbery and it didn t taste like chicken.The quantity was really good for the cost but on the whole total disappointment with taste.will never recommend to anyone

You guys this is a hidden gem . I don t think a lot of people are aware of this place. They have delicious food especially if you are looking for an Indian taste . The serving lady was so polite and welcoming . We went on my brother s birthday. It was a great experience.

We ordered Hyderabadi piece chicken Biryani and Awadhi Murgh Tikka. The quantity was good, the taste was excellent, will be visiting again!

Update: Looks like the taste varies, maybe based on the changes in their cooks/chefs. My third visit was a total disappointment I can t agree more to this - Taste wise the best indian (Hyderabad/Andhra style) food in GTA. The chicken in all their dishes is very juicy, fresh & very well cooked in all dishes that we tried and I found it nowhere in GTA. Definitely worth a visit for the amazing food. The seating & ambience is not upto the mark yet but their quality & taste of food compensates for it. Im sure they will modify the interiors sooner or later but their food is so great not to miss. Loved their Chicken Majestic ( crispy outside & very soft n juicy inside ) ; Awadhi murgh tikka & Chicken Dum Biryani.

Hey, We recently went to dine-in and ordered gobi 65, Fish Pulusu, biryani. Gobi 65 was not cooked properly and it was completely raw, also the chicken pieces in biryani not cooked properly. Fish pulusu was okay but rest of the items are not at all good. Hospitally is the worst part above tha all, when we complained about food quality they treated and responded in a poor way.

Without being bais the food and service is incredible. Definitely do give it a try if u r nearby.

Delicious food! Reasonable prices! Excellent customer service! I visit there once in two weeks. Every staff member is friendly. Shyam is very polite and handle the place nicely.

Firstly the food was amazing we have ordered the chilli fish and prawns starter and fry piece biryani... Everything was at its best and the food was sooo yummy couldnt resist to share my experience ... Above all the service from shyam was sooo heart warming he made us feel like home and suggested the best dishes ... Would surely come back for the amazing food and service ... Thanks shyam

We had veggie and chicken biryani and my kids absolutely loved it. This is will be my only Indian cuisine destination now. Staff is super nice and atmosphere is so clean.

Very delicious, the butter chicken is reasonably priced, the sauce is silky, great amount of spice, and they don t skim on the chicken. The chicken is moist and juicy. The restaurant service is great, the restaurant is always very clean, and the staff are adorable and kind. Definitely best!

paneer 65 was okay but they only filled the container with 50% of the amount. rest was empty and it was sealed so driver did not take it. Restaurant themselves put 50% of the amount. Also, I am not sure if chef changed but malai kofta and paneer butter masala had so much oil. it was super unhealthy! I have had their palak paneer and dal makhani in the past and both were good. Not sure what happened.

The food taste same like back home.I ordered butter Panner masala which was mouthwatering and the masalas were authentic. Gobi 65 was spicy and tastes next level. Now you can find best service and best food with original taste of India at spicy venue.

Best lamb biryani , almost everything tried on their menu turned amazing, these guys always surprise me with the authentic taste. Nellore chepala pulusu is the best with steamed rice . Indian food at its best.

Food was very average. We ordered malai methi and it was bland - slightly on the sweeter side. Tandoori roti was good but dry. I would want to order again but only to try other items. I highly suggest not ordering the malai methi. Vegetarian options: A Lot of vegetarian options. Parking: A lot of free parking and space for many people.

We loved the experience. Food was amazing. We tried hyderabad chicken dum biryani and awadhi murg tikka. As suggested by the sever. We would recommend coming to this place.

Had Masala Mirchi Bhajji today at The Spicy Venue, it was delicious and mouth watering, the staff too was welcoming and provided quick service. I would like to recommend this restaurant and this snack to everyone

We were provided excellent customer service. All responses regarding the menu were prompt and professional. Both husband & wife were very friendly.Clearly, the owners were keen on helping us choose the items for kids n our parents and no doubt we loved their suggested items taste was impeccable , price & portion size was really Awesome.
