Taste the fun side of fancy at Red Lobster, the world's largest and most-loved seafood restaurant company serving high quality, freshly sourced seafood for the seafood lover in everyone! Whether it's a special celebration or everyday occasion, take your day up a notch by diving into delicious seafood at Scarborough Red Lobster.
I always feel fortunate when I encounter an exceptionally pleasant waiter during my visits. The atmosphere at the restaurant is lovely, making it a great spot for a meal. One of the highlights, as we all know, is the famous Red Lobster biscuits—they are simply irresistible and a true delight for the taste buds. Additionally, the seafood offerings are always fresh and delicious, making it a fantastic choice for seafood lovers. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, which makes for an overall convenient and enjoyable dining experience.
Came to celebrate my birthday here with some friends last week on Endless Shrimp. The service was as it should be, our waiter was slow in asking us if we wanted more food as it was endless shrimp and had to flag him down a couple of times to get our drinks topped up andI didn't get a birthday treat at the end as per usual. But the food when served was great!
I recently tried Red Lobster’s takeout featuring their crab, steak, and a delicious side of potatoes, string beans, and Brussels sprouts, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The crab was perfectly seasoned, succulent, and tender—definitely a seafood lover’s delight. The steak was cooked just right, with a juicy, flavorful bite in every piece. Paired with the roasted potatoes, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it created a wonderful contrast of textures. The string beans and Brussels sprouts were fresh and perfectly cooked, giving the meal a healthy yet satisfying balance. I especially loved the touch of garlic and seasoning on the veggies, which brought the dish together. Overall, the meal was hearty and fulfilling, perfect for a cozy night in. Highly recommend if you’re craving a restaurant-quality seafood and steak dinner without having to dine in!
We visited for the $25 endless shrimp, and while the shrimp was great and the deal is fantastic, the service left much to be desired, making this likely our last visit. We were seated around 8:40 pm, and it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to bring water, biscuits, and take our order after stopping by the table three separate times. After ordering, we waited over 20 minutes for the first batch to arrive by the time it was nearly 9:25 pm. My final order was the Shrimp Alfredo linguini, but it arrived without any sauce. The waitress did offered to have it redone, I declined since it was the closing time, and I just wanted to leave.
This place has always been great! Have come to this location on multiple occasions and it has never disappointed. I will say, the prices are so high, I understand, it’s seafood, but some of their combos are priced so high, it’s hard to pick them. But when I recently went, food was great. Got the mussels which the sauce was delicious. And got the 3 types of shrimp combo. Loved the Walt’s, and garlic shrimp. The skewered shrimp is also great!
Restaurants in Toronto have lately been a little disappointing. First time here and to my surprise everything was actually GOOD. Usually don't rely on suggestions from the menu, but Angel, did suggest upon request and Aced it. Her service was genuinely good. thank you
We were so surprised to hear the news about Red Lobster going through bankruptcy so we decided to make a trip just in case they start closing locations in Canada. The biscuits were as expected. Best in the world. The Stuffed Mushrooms are their top appetizer so we got that as well and it was really good. We all got the Ultimate Feast so we could get as many flavors as possible. We all thought it was good, but most everything was too salty or too sweet (Coconut Breaded Shrimp). Lastly, we ordered a couple desserts. The New York Style Strawberry Cheesecake tasted like it came directly from the Cheesecake Factory. It was really good. The Key Lime Pie was really tart if you’re into that. Overall, our visit brought back a lot of good memories and we hope that this location stays open!
Our waitress Dariga is so special! She is very attentive and takes care of the adults and children with a smile on her face. She is always proactive at serving drinks and following up with her tables. She is an incredible server!
Parking: Handicap parking close to the ramps but all spots easy access to the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Rams for a wheelchair accessibility from the parking lot to the doors
Service was good, a little rushed but she was friendly the food is beautiful like always! Love the shrimp linguine
Kid-friendliness: They provide crayons and fun kid menu which kids can color. Food
Just went for the dinner service tonight, the waitress took a decent amount of time between taking our drink order, to the food order and serving us, I did order the ultimate feast tonight and asked if I could switch my rice to mashed potatoes, and when it arrived it was incorrect, the food was alright but not really worth the price point. Definitely disappointed, this location used to be really enjoyable and it honestly feels like it has gone downhill which is unfortunate.
It s been ages since I ve been to Red Lobster, but they still serve up the same delicious food and generous portions!
We had good meals and fantastic service at Red Lobster. Our server Anthony was very polite , helpful, courteous, and friendly. He made the experience wonderful . We had the meal deal of the day steamed snow crab legs , and roasted potatoes that were crispy and full of flavor . The seafood stuffed mushrooms for appetizer was great , dripping the biscuits in the garlic and butter sauce of the stuffed mushrooms was tasty. The fish and chips perfectly cooked , crispy and no oily taste . Definitely will go back . Hopefully we get the same level of service .
Great dinner experience.
Made reservations and arrived on time with no wait to be seated. Server was polite and had great suggestions. Was able to order our daughters food first and came in timely manner.
Server was very attentive
The sangria was refreshing. The platter is a bit expensive but worth it
I tried surf and turf. The lobster was good but the steak was dry.
Had the lobster feast for 55 dollars and the asian insipired shrimp dish and a drink which came out to 90 dolars almost. EVERYTHING besides the biscuits and the actual lobster were bad like very bad. Dont eat at red lobster and if you have to order the pasta dishes.
The food was not good. We had pasta with a cream sauce very bland. No dishes with Alfredo sauce on the menu. Cheese cake was tasteless as well. Pricey and hadnt been for 10 yrs. Wont be going back. Not like it used to be. Cheese buns not cheesey.
Went with the endless shrimp. Everything was overly salty and the service was slow.
The food was good as we were sure of as we ve been to other locations but the service was so bad. Especially the person serving as and did our billing was behaving as if he was doing a favour by having us there and was super irritated. We tried being extremely polite as we are aware that in service industry people do have a bad day but this person was still being extra mean and showing extremely rude behaviour towards us. I highly recommend management to talk to this person because this is absolutely not the way to behave in the service industry.
Sat for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us on a Friday night at 9pm with a half empty restaurant. Walked right out and wont be coming back.
Always enjoy our meals here.
Super friendly stadf but greasy low quality food
I was with my family 3 kids and wife they told me wait10-15 minutes after 20 minutes they told me you should wait more 20 minutes.
Great service and food was tasty as always.
Red lobster has been a place we as a family go for our birthday party. The staff is simply amazing they do take care of their guests.Great food if you love seafood it is the best .
always love coming here
Highly recommended, very delicious sea food and drinks Parking: Easy to park Food : 5/5 |
Red Lobster has the best customer service at this location! We always receive the best service and the food here is absolutely delicious! This is my favourite restaurant and I recommend checking it out. If you love seafood, this is the one for you!
The food quality wasnt great. The Admirals Feast in particular tasted like grocery store frozen food. All of our cocktails were painfully sweet. Service was ok.
My wife and I came here for our 4th year Anniversary. our server (Martina) really went above and beyond assisting us with our orders and provided excellent recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Red Lobster is a reliable go-to for seafood lovers craving a hearty and satisfying meal. The menu offers a broad selection of classic dishes, from tender lobster tails and juicy crab legs to flavorful shrimp scampi and the ever-popular Cheddar Bay Biscuits, which are served warm and deliciously buttery. The variety ensures there s something for every palate, whether you re a fan of fried seafood, grilled platters, or lighter fare like salads. The service is consistently friendly, with staff members who are knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to diners needs. Even during busy times, the waitstaff works efficiently to ensure that meals arrive promptly and that guests feel well taken care of. The restaurant s relaxed and casual atmosphere makes it a great choice for family dinners, date nights, or gatherings with friends. Portion sizes are generous, providing great value, especially with the popular Ultimate Feast or Create Your Own Combination options. The seafood is generally fresh, well-cooked, and seasoned to perfection. While it may not offer the fine dining experience of high-end seafood restaurants, Red Lobster delivers consistently good quality at a fair price. It s a dependable spot for seafood comfort food that leaves you satisfied.
Definitely a restaurant in decline. It was empty for lunch.
Server placed my order wrong. I had to get another service take it back. My server just laughed about it. By the time I got my meal, the rest of my party was finished theirs. Then he brought the wrong bill. I asked if he took the cost of my meal off for the inconvenience he caused and he said no. He wanted to just give me a free dessert. With the prices theare charging now, the meals are not worth it. Was bad service from the start. This is the location on Shepard Ave and Warden in Scarborough.
Fantastic service, Evanghelos was amazing. I believe he is a great asset for that location. Food and atmosphere were good.
Came here about 2 days ago and honestly service was not great. I literally had to ask the server to get me water and there was no tissue paper in sight, the time they take to get to you is long. I got the shrimp Alfredo and the portions are just getting smaller and smaller each time I visit, not only that, there was barely any sauce, won t be returning anymore, just a disappointing experience overall tbh
Outstanding service paired with exceptional food. A truly remarkable experience from start to finish!
Good food yet the service are on the average
Good place for dinner, the unlimited shrimp deal is a catch. Must try the alfredo shrimp. Also, the honey garlic shrimps are good. Seafood stuffed mushrooms are delicious as well. Ambience is good, however service could be fast.
Good meal. The cocktails were very good. No more Red Lobster in Quebec so we were happy to go back
Two excellent seafood meals at lunch today. Thank you.
We always have an incredible meal at Red Lobster! The service & food is always fabulous! Food is always hot & delicious! Thanks to the staff!
Living nearby, Red Lobster has been a convenient spot for our family to grab a bite for special occasions. To say our most recent dining experience was a horrible was an understatement. My husband and I brought along our son there Sunday evening for our anniversary dinner. We were ushered in to a corner table in the restaurant. My husband ordered the endless shrimp, I ordered a lobster and shrimp linguine, and we got the fish and chips kids combo for our son. On top of it, we had ordered mussels for starter (which tasted amazing). When the food came, we immediately noticed how the lobster pieces on my linguine were barely noticeable - it was more like a shrimp linguine with a sprinkle of lobster sheds. Then my son took a bite of his fried fish and refused to eat more. We tried the fish and realized why our little fish lover didn t like his food: not only was the fish dry and rubbery, it also did not have any flavour to it. (We later told the waiter about the fish and he deducted it from our bill). Later came the problem with my husband s so-called endless shrimp. He finished his first plate and had to ask other waiters to track down our waiter before he could ask for seconds. Then came another 10 minute wait for the shrimp, which he finished in a minute because he was so hungry. Yet the problem of waiting for our waiter came again - throughout our evening, we had to proactively look for our waiter. In fact, our waiter didn t even once come by to refill our water nor asked if we wanted anything else. In the end, the celebration cake he said he was going to give to us for our anniversary never came. We were so fed up that we just paid our bills and left, and my husband was still hungry when we got home. Parking: Plenty of parking spots available. Kid-friendliness: Not good. If you have a young child, they just abandon you in a corner.
Somehow they weren t friendly and not ready to accommodate anything in the menu, too strict unlike most of other restaurants.
Disgusting behavior from the staffing at this location quality of food had gone down over the years but the last 4 visits have done it for me no wonder its going out of business.
Great service with reasonably good food. Feels expensive for what you get.
Went here for the 1st time in over 10 years I ordered takeout food was delicious
I love it, I always go
The salmon bowl was the best
Understaffed and didnt hold our reservation
Spoke with the manager about the online delivery portal and was clueless that it s not working for delivery Spoke to another manger and she actually knew that there was changes. manager at warden and Shepard needs to follow up with what s going on. Clueless at 1000 and oblivious. Thank you baby at the Yonge location for your knowledge about red lobster
Lawrence was an amazing server. Food was fast and fresh. Biscuits always warm. Great to be back!
Fresh and great tasting seafood as usual.
Yummy yummy! The food was so good! Great for a special night out or for a special occasion. The biscuits are the best Ive ever had! Food does not disappoint. Staff is super friendly and check on you regularly. The food is so delicious and full of flavour! Update September 15, 2023 - they have the limitless shrimp deal right now for $25 per person. It did not disappoint. Customer service was fabulous again. Had the virgin version of Pina Colada and it was amazing. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the salmon dish was spicy with tons of flavour.
This is my first visit in years and it was a great experience. The food was better than I remembered and service was excellent. Everyone from the hostess to the servers was so genuine and nice. The biscuits will always be my favourite but the brussel sprouts were a close second. Red lobster will always be nostalgic for me, growing up it was one of those special occasion destinations lol.
I recently dined at Red Lobster, and despite the bustling atmosphere, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service. From the warm welcome at the door to our attentive server Li-Tun , every staff member contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. This location stands out as the best among others I ve visited. The food was immaculate, with the coconut shrimp and shrimp linguine being standout favorites, and their strawberry daiquiris were made perfectly as always. I ll definitely be returning for more great meals and stellar service. Servings are great, definitely needed to go boxes!
Really good place to come with family. Loved all the items we tried.
food was bussin li bussin Service was good quick and nice The atmosphere of red lobster was incredible Food
Took food to go. Everything was still delicious by the time it got home.
Fantastic service, great food.
I love red lobster and I hope the can stay in business.
Red lobster used to be our number one seafood restaurant to eat at. Unfortunately, we visited it 2 times during summer and got very disappointed. The menu has changed! Plates are smaller but prices went up! We used to have the option to alternate the options on the ultimate feast plate, but today our waitress said we can not do that. The side was rice and we always changed to baked potato at no extra cost. Also there used to be different options on the seafood plate. We could replace for different types of shrimps or add pastas. The waitress told us that we could only order as is! It s very pricy for what s on the plate. We won t be back.
There are better seafood places but we went for my mom s 82nd birthday as she likes RL and loves the biscuits (we all like the biscuits). It was ok; prices are reasonable. Our server was good but made a mistake with the order - no biggie. Staff is friendly in general and washrooms were clean.
Our waitress named Sadie at the Sheppard and Warden location was absolutely amazing. She has such a lovely personality and wonderful customer service skills. She made our dining experience memorable. I would also like to mention the young Chef who not only prepared a lovely meal but also cares for the beautiful flower garden that surrounds the restaurant.
We come to red lobster quite often. Today we came for two birthdays and the service we received from the waiter named Sylvester was terrible. He was very rude and only checked on us every 30 minutes. Was not happy at all.
Good
Food was good, enjoyed a decent birthday dinner here. Steak was surprisingly cooked to my liking & the strawberry spiked lemonade was great.
A mainstay for years. Servers are always courteous, food is always great. Recently had the crab, it was so tasty!
One of the last of these left. Food always good as well as service. Highly recommend I
The worst experience today. It was my birthday dinner. The front desk person made my birthday dinner miserable. From the beginning.
Overall food was tasty the portion sizes looked underwhelming at first but actually filled you up!
Everything went very well except most of all 3 orders were not so hot.But the waitress was right on point.
Food was on the salty side which is kinda expected. I ordered a margarita flight and the blue one was really terrible and I couldn t take a second sip so left the whole drink untouched. It s almost like a cleaning solution and undrinkable. Spoke to the server but nothing can be done. Thursday s special is Dinner for two which has 2 petite lobster, scallop, and shrimps, one appetizer, two sides and a dessert. It s actually quite a good deal.
Great place for a family dinner night out
Food is always awesome and staff is very kind and gentle.
I come here for special occasions and it is always a great time. We always ask for Dariga as she was the server the first time we came. She always remembers as and is so kind and caring. The food is always good and the servers are great as well, not a lot of turnover so it feels like a home environment.
Portions were less for the price. The servers were snotty never explained the menu details over all a non recommended place unless there is no ther choice of seafood in markham will not go back again
Best place for seafood!
This place has gone down hill a lot since covid. Our family used to go there at least monthly. Our server George reeks of cigarette while serving us or taking our orders. He s hardly even drop by unless necessary. Can t find him. Whereas the Asian guy serving the others are very attentive to his customers. The food portions is mediocre and prices too high for what you get. Pasta is cheap, so it wouldn t break the bank to be more generous. Won t be going there. Update a year later: glad to know Red Lobster has closed down. Good riddance.
I ordered the lobster duo, and I should have questioned why one looked different from the other, but I didnt because we were waiting for 45 minutes, and I was hungry. It turns out that one lobster was overdone, the sides were cool, not hot, it was VERY disappointing. I should have sent the plate back. It was a very expensive meal, and not enjoyable, sadly.
Love the biscuits, great deals and delicious seafood!
Phenomenal!
Service is always exceptional! The food I good too! The only thing they need to work on is timing.
First time here.Good taste and Great service by Mr.Evangelos. Highly recommend this place for family visits. Food
It pains me to write this review, as my Mom and I normally frequent this Red Lobster location for many years now and have never had an issue with it. In fact, this was the primary place we come to enjoy Red Lobster. However, as of Sunday, July 22, 2024, I have to say that this was the worst dinner experience weve had at this location. First off the service. Our server, Sylvester H, was by far not up to the standards that this location has provided in terms of service. His lack of knowledge when regarding simple things such as the quality of a drink (eg. Lemonade and whether they make it more tart or too sweet, by giving a generic non-answer) questioned our confidence in him. Also, throughout the entire night, not once did he check up on us and ask if everything was to our liking, say for one moment where without uttering a word, refilled our water. Another thing was that he never asked us if we wanted more biscuits (or brought more by default) other than the one initial serving that was provided. And when bringing our food, he completely forgot my Moms Caesar Salad, and another server had to come in and explain that it would be coming straight afterwards. However, he had simply forgot to bring it along with the rest of our food. My suggestion is that he undergo some more hospitality training before hes allowed to serve guests on the dining room floor again. Second the food. I gave it three stars because my own food was good as always. But I cant say the same for my Moms. As she doesnt normally eat the crab legs and steak, she decided to give it a chance this time. And she was incredibly disappointed with the quality of the food she was given. The steak while well-done, was too tough and dry. The top of the steak was supposed to have crab as well but was hard to find among the lackluster cream sauce. And the crab legs (snow crab) was puny sized than what was advertised. I have to say that were extremely disappointed with last nights dining experience and will probably avoid this location for a while. Theres certain things that are still great to enjoy, but specific servers and food items should be avoided if you choose to dine at the Sheppard location.
Our server Martine or Martina I believe was her name, was extremely professional, pleasant and appeared to enjoy being part of the Red Lobster team. She checked for my sister and I that the cheese cake would still available by the end of our dinner. A dining experience like that makes me want to return to the Sheppard Warden RL location. All locations need servers like Martina. Vegetarian options: Salads are awesome side veggie dishes and cheddar bay biscuits depending on your diet Dietary restrictions: I m sure you will find something Parking: Lots of parking and love the large oak tree in the lot as well as the garden and bench out front. Kid-friendliness: The kids in the lobby and the ones seemed to enjoy themselves. When ours were young we all dined at this location over 30 years now. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to park our SUV and to walk around. We walked up the ramp as we don t do stairs very well. There are nice benches in the lobby to wait.
Food is a little bit salty
First time at Red Lobster. Servers are friendly and service are swift. But for food, only queso crab dip nacho was good, rest of the food are either overly salted or under/over cooked. Ordered Lobster shrimp salmon combo, lobster was chewy and very salty. Shrimps are ok but on the salty side. Salmon was cooked just right but have more than usual fishy smell and taste to it. Rice is also undercooked. Definitely not worth the price.
Very happy with our experience today. Server was so nice, food was good and left feeling happy with the experience.
Absolutely delicious, great service and our food arrived at a reasonable time.
Service was good, food looked great, decent portion size, but was a bit too greasy
Vary fancy place worth the dinner date from oshawa to scar me and my gf had so much fun for her dirty 30 plus we got a free Sunday because it was her birthday
Great food and service! Our server Sophie was so kind and attentive to us, and made our experience a memorable one :)
Food is Not bad at all. Parking: Plenty of free parking spots. Food : 4/5 |
Updated: Sad to hear about Red Lobsters financial troubles, while we dont go very often we are always happy with the food and service. We have never found the food too salty or sweet as others have said, and as everyone has a different preference to how much they like food salted you can just ask for less salt instead of leaving a 3 star review like a child.
with Red Lobster you know you re getting that consistent seafood. The lobster and Mac and cheese side was good. Shrimp and crab felt a bit stale though. Go for that nostalgic magic but don t expect anything to wow you.
Lobster had extremely small claws, kinda disappointing, but the stuffed mushrooms were amazing.
I have been going to this Red Lobster location for years this has always been the place to go to for whether your celebrating or just meeting someone special. The staff like Anthony, Patrick, Lawrence and others have always been warm, friendly and yet efficient and professional. Atmosphere is always relaxing with some sense of privacy. Food was serve in a timely manner and has always been mouth watering. Weekends are busy which should is normal. Set course meals are reasonably priced. I highly recomend this place. Parking: Lots
I managed to enjoy it with my friends.
Love eating here. Red Lobster has its own appeal and flavour. On the menu was a very saucy crab dish, très bien. Don t go. You would be missed. Food
We ordered fish and chips, cup of chowder, shrimp cocktail. Shrimp cocktail was very good, chowder no flavour, fish and chips very light coloured tasteless batter and not enough fish. We were at this restaurant two weeks ago and all the food was good. Disappointing.
Valentine dinner was excellent. Second visit for a birthday dinner. Free dessert for the birthday person. Food
I ordered online and the food was actually hotter than if I ate there
First time trying Red Lobster. My first impression of the building (at this location) was good as the building looked new, and it was clean outside. Plenty of parking and the parking lot was in decent shape. The inside decor was a bit old, or it felt a bit old to me. Since this was my first time trying a Red Lobster restaurant, I decided to try something safe and easy to get right, which is fish & chips. The fish & chips from here were not good, and I didnt even finish my food. It just wasnt good compared to other restaurants where I had fish & chips. Im hoping this is the only dish that wasnt good. Would I go back again? Maybe, but try something else to give a more fair evaluation of Red Lobster (at this location)
You never go wrong going for lobster here, just lobster. after all it is what it is named for. Can t say the same for the admiral feast that is a plateful of an assortment of fried seafood- the breaded fish is not delightful, the scallops ok, clam strips were replaced by shrimp popcorn and there was the breaded shrimp that was the only tasty one in that plate. While it is an admiral feast, the portion is not the feast-o-plenty.
2/3 of our group got the endless shrimp and the third person had some fish tacos. The food was pretty good, just pretty salty so we were DOWNING cups and cups of water haha. The biscuits were absolutely amazing, as always. Each of the shrimp dishes was good and if you are able to eat a lot, its a great deal. Our server was 10/10 so nice and fun to talk to!
Always a great experience and good and consistent foods.
Pretty good value, good quality food, everything was tasty. Maybe we had low expectations going in, but we were pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent. Had the lobster duo, good size portions
Food was okay, found it to be a quite too salty. Shrimp skewers tasted off and hadn t realized when I was told I should try this drink from the server, that it was going to be $15, my own error for not asking. Server was nice, but kept disappearing and not returning after he said he would be right back, which caused our dinner to turn into a 2hr event. All the other servers were around except him. Atmosphere felt a bit outdated, but otherwise it was nice, dimmed lights and not too loud! Our bill for 2 people was $155. Kinda wishing I spent that at the Keg instead!
Meals cooked to perfection. Excellent service. Keep up the great work !!
Havent been here for a long time. Came here tonight with my friend and her parents. The place was packed by 530pm!! I was worried if the food would take long to arrive, nope! Didnt happen. Instead their friendly staff and caring attitude made me feel welcome the whole time. Food was great, much better than what I had remembered. They looked better than they looked on the menu haha! Betty was our server and she is amazing! Despite the high volume/demand, no upselling (we didnt order much), Not only we didnt feel pressure, she took care our needs/requests promptly. We found other waiters were also approachable and helpful. The place is clean, and the food was great! A very pleasant evening! Excellent management! I highly recommend it to seafood lovers!
I went to dinner on Friday and found a rubber band in my plate. Management came out and offered desert. I understand yall may be filing for bankruptcy soon but seriously that s NOT how you treat paying customers. They even admitted that the rubber band is used to hold the claws together.
Love the baked seafood here
Service was great... food was a bit too greasy though.
Portions are small for the price points. Flavors are alright. Nothing worthy to come back. First and last time coming to red lobster. Might be worth if getting endless shrimp. (Pictures are what one serving looks like) Our server Danish was not checking up on us at all, we had to make an effort to flag him down. The table beside us had a different server, older lady and she was treating her table with superior customer service and care.
Went there on Saturday May 11th. Had a reservation for 6:30pm. Didn t end up getting seated until 7:45pm. Very disorganized.
Loved the experience at this location! I ordered the 3-shrimp styles + 1 side (garlic, corn, and coconut + mashed potatos). I was surprised it was full of flavors, which did not happen at other locations like the Eatons one. Biscuits were warm and tasty. They offer coke instead of pespi (one more plus!). Dessert was Chocolate Wave. Yummy. I shared everything with my husband. Check was around $55 with tip and tax. Atmosphere was not so nice at the foyer, but got better by the tables. Our server was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable! Enjoy!
My mom and I had a fantastic dinner at Red Lobster tonight! We both ordered the Salmon New Orleans. The flavors were bold and very tasty! The salmon and shrimps were cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were great! The service was also excellent. A big thank you goes out to the manager, Peter, for making the experience a memorable one. Thank you!
I havent visited the Scarborough location recently. The last time I visited was prior to Covid 19. The food was good so was the service and the atmosphere . The cost of the meals was reasonable. I will definitely consider taking a trip back there hopefully sooner than later.
I love this chain of restaurants, but this one was a disaster. The waiter was simply terrible (bald Chinese man), terribly inattentive, slow, I ordered a mango cocktail, brought berries, said that he had run out and at his own discretion brought another, what kind of self-will is this?
I am disappointed for my first time visit. We got the crab dip and there was mostly tomatoes and cheese for 16.99. And the garlic shrimp, shrimp scampi was over cooked and the grilled scallops was burnt that my boyfriend recieved with his ultimate feast which is 53.99. He ordered the grilled sirlon med rare snd they over cooked it. I got the fish and chips but substituted the chips for lobster potatoe which was really good but the fish was really salty. We waited 40 min for a table but that was our fault because we didnt make a reservation. But the waiter was very very nice and the other workers was very nice as well. We understand they were really busy for we spent $135.53 and we came from far east and we were hungry but this wasnt worth the money or time. I think with how busy they were they were rushing.
Excellent site, many options. If you like seafood, this is the right place. Sea food is the focus of the restaurant, accompanied by seafood or meat. They have some of the best bread ever. And the chocolate cake is incomparable. Completely recommended place. Parking: You have parking spaces in your lot Kid-friendliness: Yeah Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah
I had a great time. I took my mom for dinner last week. We had a fantastic meal our server. She was fantastic. They had quick specials on that. We took advantage of like I said it was Fantastic.
The vibes here are good and the staff are quite nice. But the food is mid (mediocre). Honestly your breaded seafood is soooooo bad... especially the breaded clam strips. There was basically no clam and just bread. The breaded flounder was also terrible. I dont think I will come again, but I will note that I did not have lobster (which is what they are known for I guess), so take my opinion with a grain of salt (I wish some of the breaded stuff had salt tho cuz it was bland). Avoid breaded seafood here at all costs.
Server was amazing, staff was not accommodating when walking to bathroom you have to navigate around
The food and service was very good and reasonably priced.
The food was great! It exceeded my expectations and the waiters were very friendly. Love this location
Very Good Food and for the price you cant go wrong . I suggest making a reservation and they will take great care of you . You cant go wrong here . Food
Seated in a timely manner, food is amazing and biscuits were hot and fresh, server lady was sooO nice (forgot her name started with M). Will be coming back for sure :) love this location
Came to have an early-dinner bite with an associate, as there was a 20 minute wait we opted for the bar seating. It took about 30 minutes for the bar staff to acknowledge us, until we decided to speak up. The food arrived quite late, was cold and mid-way through; the standard bar glass broke from the bottom and spilled entirely on my outfit. At which point, the bar staff associate did rush to clean up the splinters but did not acknowledge myself or refill the drink. There was no compensation for this horrible experience and as someone who has always loved to visit this location, I will surely not be doing so again which is quite upsetting and unfortunate overall.
Just like you remember it - minus the biscuits which seem to have undergone a recipe change! They now offer all you can eat shrimp as an option on the menu permanently, which is a great idea! The kids menu is limited to say the least. However - we were able to get a side of rice with our 2.5 year olds grilled shrimp. The food was decent - no complaints. My fave was the coconut shrimp and shrimp Alfredo. My husband preferred Walt s shrimp and the salt and vinegar shrimp. Bonus for kids - the live lobsters! Service was excellent!
Came tonight and was told itd be a 30-40 min wait for a table so we decided to sit at the bar instead. Was greeted with a blank stare from the bartender (no hello, no smile) who continued to look disinterested throughout the entire service. He never asked us if we wanted to order any food even though we were clearly looking at the food menu, and walked by me when I asked if we could order. Thankfully the other bartender came and took our order instead. The food took almost 40 mins to arrive and when I asked how much longer it was gonna take, he just said ill check instead of apologizing for the long wait. When the food finally came, my dish was lukewarm and the lobster was dry and clearly not fresh. Ive been to this restaurant in the past for lunch and have always had a decent experience but tonight the food and service were extremely underwhelming.
Used to come here as a kid with my family! It s a great chain restaurant and I still love going here til this day! Food: 4/5 - all of the shrimp and lobster dishes are tasty there hasn t been one thing that I ve had that I really didn t like. I usually come for the shrimp trio and get the following: Garlic Shrimp, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, and Walt s Favourite Shrimp. All a 4/5! Garlic Cheese Biscuits 4.5/5 - famously known for their biscuits, they are so good when warm and them being free makes them taste even better! Service: 5/5 - always have had a friendly waiter or waitress and such prompt service! Ambiance: 4.5/5 - a nice family seafood diner vibe! Would definitely take family here in the future! Parking: Busy parking lot but enough spots
No wifi This place looked old and dark except if you were sitting by the windows. In that case you would have been baking in the sun Service was ok. But the servers... Our male server chain smoked before serving us so we could really smell the cigarette smoke on him mixing in with our food! This was a real turn off There was a female server who put on sooooo much cheap perfume that at least one customer commented that I feel like I was at a strip joint! Parking: Outdoor parking The disable parking spaces are further away from the entrance than the regular spots Ok amount of parking spots Wheelchair accessibility: See above
Ordered the Shimp cocktail and escargot which were delicious. Got the 3 margaritas and under the purple sea drinks were delightful. Mains were bar lobster lovers dream and the bar habour which was 7/10 portion size for the bar harbour was lacking for seafood compared to other locations.
Went here for the dinner for 2 special on Thursday and was happy about the service. The cheese bread is a favorite and we always ask for some to go after dinner which is great. The new cheese fries are delicious. Lobster tails were an ok size and tasted alright. Some varieties of shrimp arent too good (Walts fav shrimp, I wouldnt get again) but others are alright. Mash potatoes come seasoned and there is no gravy. Green beans I would pass on next time. Service is good, although you do have to wait a bit if theyre busy which is not unusual. I would definitely return.
I wish they had a nice salad as one of the sides Wheelchair accessibility: good ramps in parking lot Food : 4/5 |
Was a little disappointed tonight. My friend and I went there tonight on a whim for some appetizers and drinks, the server who was originally serving us was leaving for the night and then switched with someone else ( who was lovely by the way). She came over to ask us if we were okay and we told her we wanted to order another drink. She then told us that our server had told her and the manager to not serve us anymore drinks because we ve already had 2..I had the mai tai which I m pretty sure they forget to even put the alcohol in, and a martini along with TWO appetizers, the muscles and the calamari which we didn t end up finishing because we were FULL. We ate before we came, like I said we went on a whim. Now I understand that SOME people can over drink, but as a bartender myself, it s up to you to use your discretion. If you see someone acting out and visibly drunk, then you have a right to stop serving. We felt very singled out and embarrassed, it made us feel like they were trying to imply we were drunk and other tables heard it as well. The policy felt made up probably based on the people they deal with on a daily basis, with that being said, it felt like profiling. My experience was ruined and we probably will not be going back there.
Thanks Matt for being so considerate. We will definitely be back.
Great food. The wait time was super long.
If you order endless shrimps on Mondays, sometimes you have to wait a very long time between orders.
Food quality has gone down so bad. Pop corn shrimp taste so fake. Galic shrimp didnt have any garlic taste. Alfredo sauce was just cream no cheese flavor at all.i have been your customer for about 35 hrs. Its a shame to serve food tasteless in a reputable restaurant.
Tasty food and friendly staff. My only note is that the restaurant is quite dark and my visually impaired partner had a difficult time navigating. Turning up the lights a bit would make it more accessible.
We were seated in our own area in a private room & we were attended to promptly. Our waiter Shaun was very helpful, knowledgeable & very funny. He also let us know which specialty drinks were up to the patrons palate. We were dining at 3252 Sheppard Ave east.
Sesame soy salmon bowl is very good, you gotta try it at least once. Darigha, our server, is very nice and friendly today as well.
Sean was probably one of the best waiters I ve had in a long time, he was attentive, had a good sense of humour and kept me and my boyfriend entertained the entire time. Please keep this gem!
Had dinner here tonight with the family. We didn t have to wait for a table due to the snowstorm! We ordered the calamari, bacon-wrapped scallops, Friday Surf and Turf and Endless Shrimp. The food was good and the service was great. The crispy green beans with the calamari were a pleasant surprise. The bacon was also crispy and browned nicely. The Surf and Turf was a great deal at $25. They Endless Shrimp had a good variety of options. Our server, Sean, was really awesome! He was patient, attentive and funny. He acknowledged everyone around the table and made them feel included throughout the service. Looking forward to our next visit and hopefully we get Sean as our server again!
