Ordered one vegetarian soup and one fish soup the other day; both were hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. I called a couple of times before going to the location to pick it up, and both times staff was friendly and courteous. Parking’s not great, but I knew this beforehand.
Ordered chicken soup. Visited in the evening and was only soup with also fish tea Soup was very good, served hot and good amount of food in it. Would visit again to try other items
In my opinion the best soup I’ve had in Canada. Fish soup is my favourite and is always on point. 4 stars only because their hours are not consistent. Hours of operations is dependant multiple non communicated factors. This may have you standing at a “closed” for the day door.
It's like love at first sip. Doesn't matter what you take, you get more than you came for. A remedy for that sickness that doesn't go away. Your before, during, and after treatments. It's a must. Like getting a warm belly hug. Plus, the owners energy can really light up your day.
I love the soup here! I live in the west end and it’s definitely worth the drive to get me some quality soup. I recommend the red pea soup and fish tea. Lovely spot. Always a pleasure to see Sherill as well!! My daughter loves it here too
This places sells exactly what the name says, “Just Soups”. They have 4 soups available everyday and 1 soup of the day. The flavours are good for all I’ve tried so far. It has a nice hint of spice and served hot everytime. They sell out by 3 pm so go early and get it before it’s gone. My only negative comments are 1. There should be more of a presence of the meat in the soup. There are 2-3 pieces of meat I’ve found in each soup that I ordered. 2. They do offer a dine in area that sits about 2 people max. Need to add some more seating and needs air condition as it’s an oven if you sit inside and eat.
Can’t believe I always drive by and never knew there was a soup place in the plaza. I love how much plants are in the store, very soothing .owners son was polite and so was the owner. I must say the soup had a good flavour !! I think the body of the soup could be a little bit thicker and that I had gotten more than one piece of chicken. Regardless I will be back because .I can tell that it was made with love and was very fresh . Keep it up ur doing amazing.

I am so freaking disappointed I order cow foot soup it had no cow foot after driving so far how can ppl sell cow foot soup with no cow foot shame on them all I get was the souse no meat I m from the carbbiean and I know what is cow foot soup I make it my mother and sister make it smh

Get there early to avoid line ups! The secrets has long been out, this is the best soup place in the area and maybe Scarborough! The cow foot is my favourite, and they make it nice and spicy, like how it should be!
Great soup, just very sad I drove here in the snow because soup is great when its cold. The door is locked no sign on door or anything in case an emergency did come up. But on Google they say open until 6. Pls update hours or just let ppl know. Signed hungry and sad.

Im a HUGE soup guy! But im only down for hearty soups that have ALOT of FLAVOR! The Red Pea soup is absolutely fantastic. Id suggest going early so that you get alot of meat. Towards the end of the day you get less meat and more broth Vegetarian options: They have a daily vegetarian soup that is pretty good

Great soup. Flavors are on point. Meat and dumplin portions are not so great. Guarteed 1.5 meat and 1 dumplin. Fun huntig for each of them. If you like fluids for lunch your winning. Call first hours are not kept all the time. Potentially a good experience. Good luck
Went to this place to buy some soup. Figured in the height of a pandemic it s something you can reheat. NO ONE WORKING THERE WAS WEARING A MASK! The cook wasn t wearing a mask, neither were any of the 2 ladies behind the counter. If the is the approach they take to safety, this is not somewhere I want to eat. It s the kind of thing that gives Caribbean establishments a bad name.

You running a business...do not inconvenience your customer planning to arrive and then only to find out that you close restaurant before closing time or you are not open at the time you are suppose to open.
Love the soup my husband and I get a taste of home big up you guys. We love to make our chicken soup extra spicy so we walk with our own hot sauce.
Love the Soup, hate that I drove here and it s currently 4pm and the doors are locked. What s the point of having hours if you open and close whenever. Definitely something y all need to work on, the only reason you lose the two stars

Soup was well fresh need to add salt and there was only one meat in the soup also I found a foreign object in my soup when I went bk inside they did not wanna acknowledge it but I still got bk my money never again will I go there

Really good soup....but mostly because its hard to find a decent soup in Scarborough....Not dissing at....but its far from 5 star wow super soup like Im reading in here
Horrible attitude! Lady owner closes whenever she feels like. The storefront says they close at 6:30 pm, but she rushes out at 5:10 pm....and then says she has a life! Obviously she does not care to have happy returning customers. She had the nerve to tell me that i do not have to come back, because i asking why her hours say 6:30 PM then. This is not the first time she closes before her stated closing hours. Her attitude spoils her business. Her soups are flavorful, but good luck trying to find any dumplings or even any meat. $10 will get you 1 skinny dumpling and a few tiny meat cubes. I will not be wasting ANY more of my time nor money on someone who has no respect for their customers. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! There are tonnes of family run restaurants who serves great food with great attitude! You will not be respected nor appreciated at this establishment .

I have been on and off going to Just Soups for the past 5 years...and hands DOWN their Beef soup/Saturday Soup is like my favourite and its VERY reasonably priced for the quality! Its so hearty and just absolutely perfect on a gloomy day. Just looking at the soup just puts brightness to your day. They do sell some sweets but yeah, focus is on their soup! Thank you for keeping my tummy warm and happy!

Very nice owners. however they lack protein in the soup. there are too many west Indian restaurants in the area to lack meat in your soup. Great size portions. Nice flavor.

Rude lady has no manners. They skimp too much on the soup put more liquid than anything else . Told them about it and they act like it wasnt true if I wasnt talking facts and now reading the reviews it seems to have always been an issue . Tip for you learn to accept feedback and be humble about it instead of giving attitude. Learn to be more professional.

Amazing Jamaican soups, I ve been going here for over 3 Years and have never had anything that is stale or bad. The staff is amazing, I once dropped the soup just before opening the door to get into the office and drove back to order another and they gave it to me no charge. Ps the bag you get it in is classic Jamaican style but it tears easy be careful.

Hands down best soup place ever!!!!! Been coming here for over 8 years. Used to live in scarborough, which is how I started having it. When I moved away I still make an effort to stop here and get soup! Even if its out of my way!! My family loves the soup here!!! My fave is Gongu peas and red peas. Tasty tasty.

I had the beef soup. The broth was very tasty but there was only bits and pieces of veges and hardly any beef. The veges were cut so small.
I went on a Tuesday night close to closing time. They only had the shrimp with calalloo soup left so I decided to try it. It was delicious!! Honestly one of the best soups I ever had. Seasoned well and just the right amount of heat. A nice kick. I cant wait to try the other kinds.
This place has great broth and its tasty,but there isnt enough meat or dumpling in the soup.like the guy said at the top,if you do find a meat its very tiny.People there are really nice dough.=little more dumpling :)
