Usually go out for their kotthu roti, mutton roll, bun, fish paddy and masala tea. Service is good always. They also have good options for evening snack. Highly recommended!

Breakfast combo is the best option of all. Best value for and decent tasting... milk aapam is good but the coconut cream is a bit thick, would prefer coconut milk. Parota is nice and big. Masala dosa is big but a bit bland for my taste. Chicken kothu roti is on the spicy side. Would be able to enjoy it if it is accompanied by a gravy (serva/salna) as it gets dry. The chicken pieces used in this was from other preparations, I had a big piece which tasted with biriyani masala. These small things need to be attended to.

Came here when they opened. Ordered 2 veggie samosa and a mutton roll. Bad idea. It was leftovers from the day before (they microwaved it before giving to me) and the mutton roll was more like a veggie roll until the last bite had 1 small piece of mutton

New Kalyani is a must-visit! The kothu roti was excellent, and the mutton rolls were great and super crispy. The customer service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Today I went to buy 2 boxes chicken kothu rotti around 4.15 pm I asked them no onions or chilli because my kids can t eat spicy but he added more spicy powder that s bad spicy smell also he made careless he put some egg shells inside the kothu rotti . I throw the kothu rotti right away also I bought some vada that one also I think they made yesterday I m really sad because I wasted my money they changed 24 dollars for the kothu rotti and 6 dollars for the Vada I wasted 30 dollars my money today really bad experience for me

Best place for kothu roti in My opinion. However I noticed the price is always different on the same items. im a daily costumer So I Noticed. I feel the cost of food is random here because even this menu they have posted for a breakfast special is missing the price. So much useless information on the poster and no price. The place also has one person working and the wait time sometimes exceeds 45 mins for kuthu even when you order ahead of time on the phone. They are not organized. Short staffed and seems like they are being over worked. The food is good though.

Everything I got was delicious. Full of spice and flavour. Just served some New Kalyani food today to a Tamil couple who told me that it was authentic, just like their mother used to make in Sri Lanka.

I used a credit card but they only accept debit and my payment declined and I was enjoying my food in my car at the parking lot. The extremely nice cashier came to me and told me to finish my meal and come inside. When I went back inside, I realized that the payment was not done and they were very nice and professional about this fact. Im impressed by the service and quality of food and also its very cheap + they have halal options. Vegetarian options: Tasty options with various menus! Parking: 4 spots Kid-friendliness: Very safe environment with proper cleanliness and regular disinfectants used.

April 9 Easter Sunday after long time went to buy some food at new kalyani restaurant. I was really disappointed. Ill say totally waste of time and money. After church finished went to buy some special Indian food at this place. When I went to check out the food customer service cashier person lady rushing me to buy food. Customer service should need more patient and try to explain properly food. Specially when people work at restaurant need more patient. I know its lunch time but after long time Im visiting. When I asked about lampraise she even didnt explained properly. One order is $15.00 +tax. I never try before so thought maybe should try. When I asked about string hopper and pittu didnt even check out right away she said no. Ill tell everyone please dont waste your time and money. There lots of other place best quality food. Also price is really too much. I know now a days everything is expensive. But if the food quality is good and taste dont mind to buy it. But today service food quality everything is terrible. Even when I bring the food home taste lampraise fried chicken uncooked inside raw. Also chicken curry put it all bones no meat. Boiled eggs bad taste. Im really disappointed frustrated angry. Im not going to this place any more. Waste of time money and service. Even I dont want to give one (*)....

Kalyani is your classic Sri Lankan takeout spot. They have the typical hot table setup with various curries, carbs, and short eats. It caters towards that community so the food is very authentic. Food is amazing and extremely affordable. Large quantities and great taste. Small store but their focus is on quality and service, which are both outstanding. Definitely deserves the high praise and rankings online.

Hi yesterday I finished work late and on the way I went to buy some food for dinner at 11pm. I bought string hopper mixed and I came home and opened the box to eat. I noticed bad smell from it and its spoiled. I feel so bad. I came to home with fully tired and I throw the food. I always buy foods from here I dont know how this people selling spoiled foods?

The Biriyani is great!! Had a little bit of spiciness which I liked very much, as most of the restaurants offer spicy food which are not spicy at all. Overall food is of great taste!!

The place is great and has quite the variety. If you can look past the dingy location the people and the service is as phenomenal as the food.

Very very dirty business. I bought 2 sets of appam .One yellow thin lady said to wait for appam 10 minutes .Then gave 2 set of appam and she said that they are fresh and hot. After I reached home and I open The appam very very dried look like plastic plate. Cheating and lies doing business. Then I gave back the appam and didnt get back money too. Kid-friendliness: Very bad food are given to kids.

After much hardship am I resorting to this review. Been visiting this place even when it was called Amma Catering . Although food is quite pleasant the service and practices definitely need refinement. Recent experience (Sat Sept 09 2023). After placing an order for three Kothu roti, a goat curry and a few roti whic amounted to roughly $80 because the young Indian lady decided to charge for things such as plates and sambas etc. I understand the cost of such is rising and a venue must pass on the incurred charges but a quarter a plate was interesting. That wasn t event the worst part after maybe 40 mins of wait time she didn t include the Sambal packages I paid for(3 dollars or so). I know these might seem like an honest mistake. But the kicker is, this happens often with this establishment. Once the forgot a Kothu rotti, they overcharge or change prices when paying with cash etc. If you are fortunate enough to catch this blunder their customer service is as follows. The lady we called about the Sambal after arriving at the event we purchased food for, I quote Well that was my mistake, but owners not here I can not do anything. I m busy I can give the money back next time, can you call back when managers here tomorrow then She hung up abruptly. Absence of basic customer service indeed. Nonetheless we had to record to ordering Sam Al for the even via Uber ears and another shop LOL. This will be the final visit to this establishment.

I tried the mutton kothu roti as recommended by lots of reviewers and it was 10/10! The food was fresh and delicious with great big pieces of mutton and roti. Also, when you request spicy its actually spicy with lots of green chilis - I would suggest going for medium spice. Mutton rolls and mutton paratha was okay like 7/10.
