One of the top ayce sushi around in Toronto. I always got their party tray before from Ai sushi Markham but wanted to get ayce with some friends and heard this location does ayce and decided to try it. The quality is just as good as the Markham and was so tasty. All the other sushi ayce I ve tried before the quality are so bad. The price aren t too expensive too with a lot of options to pick from. The ramen noodles was a little too salty and was kinda bummed that that don t serve roast fish other than salmon. But the experience overall was great and will def come back again.

The food is not that bad its worth the 40 bucks per person but the service is horrable the waiters ate ok to a point we seem to be looking around for them in order to get refill but the food service is horrable we order food and got 3 out of 6 items so we put in orders again to j7st have to ask where the orders are it seems like the items that may be mote pricey or bit more on the expensive side seems nor to come we ordered 2 orders of something and asked 4 times about it and still at the end we did not get it ... but yet I still have to pay the full price .....not good at all so this last visit l9st them 4 customers......many other places around we will try next time

We are regular customers who have been visiting the first store before the epidemic. We usually take out and dine in at various AI branches. Last night was the first time at the Scarborough store AYCE. When I first entered the restaurant, I happened to be taken to a location where it felt like it was always windy. Because I didnt want the air conditioner to be blowing all the time and it would be cold, so I asked a waitress who happened to pass by if she could change to a table that didnt have an air outlet. The waiter said expressionlessly that she didnt feel the wind blowing and all the tables were similar. You can go to other empty tables and try it yourself! After I passed by, I looked up and found that the air outlet was at the head of the row of two-person tables, and it was very obvious, so I asked if you could help us adjust the position of the air outlet. I thought it was very unprofessional for the staff not to know where the air outlet of their store was, and it was obvious that the waiter was very impatient and did not want to find another seat for us, so he was casually doing the job, so I was already a little angry and ready to leave. Later, she said that there is a booth nearby where you can sit. How about you try to see if it s cold there before deciding? I don t understand why guests are required to walk around and use wind detectors. And I can t understand why she insists that we sit at a table for two, and can t transfer the booth to us from the beginning. We enter the store at 7:30, need last call at 8:45, and close at 9:30. There are empty seats everywhere, and we can t immediately Find a suitable place for your guests to sit and eat? Do you want the guests not to eat, or will they get sick after eating? What kind of service attitude is this? And what made me angry and crazy the most was that this waitress actually made an expression of contempt and disgust in front of me, curling her mouth to the corners of her eyes and rolling her eyes to the back of her head. Ordered chicken pad Thai. Its all going in the garbage. It looks like noodles with red coloring and tastes sugary. Wish I had opened the bag it was enclosed in before leavingthe restaurant (I ordered takeout). I hope they remove it from their menu because this was not it. $12 wasted. Only gave it 1 out of 5 but it deserved zero stars

Vegetarian options: I was the only vegetarian in my group of 13, it was my first time at this place. There was a small number of veg dishes that I could have, but that is understandable since its primarily a sushi restaurant. It was a good dining experience but I probably wouldnt eat here much because of the limited options for someone like me.

Not a lot to share, the restaurant itself is okay and fine if you want AYCE sushi but there are several places that have a wider ordering option at a lower price. Dont expect quick service if heading in on a weekend or as a 2 person party they seem to only care about larger tables. Had the treat of seeing the head server last night drop clean chopsticks onto a very dirty floormat and then proceeded to return them to the clean bin. I have been to this place before and I ve loved it ever since. And I ve always been impressed with their hospitality. Today when I got my food for take out, I saw that they had packed me an extra miso soup with a cute lil note that said free soup! Get well soon! I had been going to Kuu sushi for years, sadly I burnt down. When I saw they had opened Ai Sushi as a dine in I knew by far its the best Sushi all you can eat in the GTA. The quality is exceptional, atmosphere is nice, service good and overall pleasant. Id recommend this to anyone that likes a variety.

First time, read the reviews and went in with decent expectations. Severely disappointed at the over all service and quality of food. The concept, while trying to be innovative, not very practical. Service was slow, multiple mistakes with our orders, very long to rectify. Some werent even rectified by the time we finished dinner. And for the high price, not worth it. Doubt Ill be passing back. Much better experience at other AYCE sushi spots. Ill even go as far as saying better experience at Makimono, and they werent that great either.

AI is all the rage these days but AiSushi is the only Ai that lives up to the hype. We just stumbled upon this place by accident, we were in the neighborhood and were looking for an AYCE sushi place. We were not expecting much, as these kind of places generally have passable level of food quality and freshness. From the outside it looked unimpressive, but it was bigger than it looked once we got inside. The decor was simple but not unpleasant and the place was quite busy. They handed us a printout with two QR codes, one to connect to their wifi, the other to connect to the ordering page. Up to 2 devices can connect per table. This was my only minor criticism, as viewing the menu from our phones was hard for our old eyes, but we managed. I much prefer the iPad method employed in other establishments. They took our drink orders and came back with them immediately. We ordered some Miso soup and some hand-rolls as a starter and were amazed when they arrived after just a few sips of our drinks. This was incredibly fast. The soup and the hand rolls were delicious and the fish very fresh. We decided to pile on a bit more and ordered some sushi, maki rolls, and teppanyaki. Once again all of the food arrived within 5 mins and it was all delicious and fresh. I started looking around more closely and noticed just how many people were working behind the counter making the food. It was crowded back yhere but there was a real rhythm and efficiency which was quite impressive. There were also a lot of servers running around checking in at all the tables, refilling drinks and seating people. This place was a well oiled machine. After stuffing ourselves silly, the server noticed that we were slowing down and asked if we wanted anything else. We were done, so he brought us the bill and we paid and left. A truly great experience which raises the bar on AYCE sushi restaurants. Definitely recommended!

It is extremely annoying to order though the phone with them, 90% of the time the staff can t hear you on the phone and yet after being notified many times, they still refuse to get new phones. Service has gone down hill a bit, staff on the phone is usually rude now, they respond by just asking what you want now instead of how can they help or serve you Lastly Sushi isn t as fresh as it use to be but still acceptable.

I have been coming here almost every month since I came to Toronto! Ayce is a very cost-effective Japanese food~ There are many kinds of food, my favorites include thick-cut salmon, sweet shrimp (it s really not bitter, unlike some restaurants where they are all bitter), arctic clams, grilled beef tongue, and cheesecake! And their various grilled sushi rolls never fail to impress! My husband loves to eat

Had dinner here Friday night. A really good selection for all you can eat. I can get amaebi sweet shrimp, hamachi sushi here along with skewers of various meats and seafood.

Such a great sushi spot, their food is really good quality and lots of variety! I like the speed of the service and the prices are also very good! My only recent qualm is that the last few times i ve gone there, they start mopping the floors and cleaning the bathrooms before the restaurant closes and makes the entire place smell like bleach and cleaner which has made me sick both times. It s disappointing because otherwise i ve had a great experience there! They close pretty early (9pm) so kind of annoying that they begin to mop before last call. I think they should wait until all the patrons are out of the restaurant before cleaning, especially with such a strong cleaner. Overall, really great spot and this is my only issue with the place!

This All You Can Eat Sushi restaurant only accepts debit or cash. No credit cards allowed here. The restaurant is kind of a small sized. You order the ayce menu off of your phone, you connect to the website for your table number and order your food from there. For each order, there is a specific limit and then you cant order anymore for that order number. Once you submit the order, you can order more food again. They have all sorts of Japanese food (sushi, sashimi, deep fried etc), some Chinese food, and some Thai food (green curry etc). I took a lot of pictures of the food. There really is alot of variety. I read that the ramen in actually decent in the ayce menu. And I tried the ramen. The tonkotsu ramen is pretty decent. Compared to Matsuda, the ramen at AiSushi is pretty good. Some of the sushi is really good, better than Matsuda. The sashimi is okay. The unagi torced sushi had fish scales in it... so it wasnt good at all. The fish wasnt cleaned properly. They are really quick on their feet if they see your cup of water half empty. They fill you up real fast with more water. Their dessert is pretty good. The ones that we tried. My friends liked the Japanese cheesecake. I didnt like it cause it was more like a sponge cake instead of cheese in the cheesecake. The lychee jelly is super good! So addicting. My friend got so addicted to the lychee jelly that after we left the restaurant, we went a Chinese grocery store to get him a bag of lychee jellies. +100 for lychee jelly. My friend said that the mango ice cream tasted like cheese... And that for some reason, all ayce restaurants had cheese tasting mango ice cream. The black sesame ice cream was pretty good. You could literally taste the black sesame. Its definitely in there alright. Would come back here again. The food was good, the quality was good too. I wanted to try more of the ramen/udon, fried rice, green curry, Thai and Chinese dishes, but I didnt have enough stomach space to put it in. Each of us (3), paid around $46 for the weekend ayce sushi experience. On the cheaper end of ayce sushi in Toronto. Parking: The restaurant is in a plaza, and the plaza parking lot is large. Theres enough parking spaces. Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of children with their families eating there in the ayce sushi restaurant. Lost of small children, toddlers and babies.

Affordable sushi trays and rolls for takeout. They are responsive with requests such as keeping sauces from some sushi rolls on the side or removing them. Just wish the included ginger didn t always taste like BO. Sometimes the sushi rice can be hit or miss in their maki rolls. Otherwise, a decent place to order takeout sushi!

Best Japanese Buffet Restaurant in the area!

We love ayce sushi, so we have been to many places. We loved their take out party trays so we decided to give it a try on ayce. Super disappointed!!! Here are the reasons: 1. They charge $8 for a 3 year old! Other ayce places are mostly free, max is probably $4. Our 3 yrs old doesnt even eat. 2. They charge $1 for tea. At other sushi places, tea is usually free. I had to ask if they charge for water, and luckily the answer was no. 3. Choices are very limited and basic. Nothing special or particularly good. One thing I find weird is that they have lots of woks and curries, its a sushi place, not an Asian buffet... In addition... they dont taste that good either. 4. Service was bad, the lady never smiled since our arrival. Usually waitresses would greet our children when we go to restaurants, she just ignored them. When we told her that they gave us the wrong order, she judged us and didnt apologize. She also showed us a bad attitude. After my husband gave her a good tip(he always does), her attitude changed 180 degrees. Unfortunately, I will only give 5 stars to the waitress who cares about their customers rather than for money. The place was not even half full on a weekday night, where the other sushi place that we have been to are always almost full. I believe the above reasons explain why. We will not go back to their ayce and we will not recommend it to anyone.

Ai ayce is really lacking. The system restricts your ordering and sashimi is limited to 9 pieces each. With already a small sashimi selection, 9 slices of salmon for 9 people means we only get a slice each. And trying to order more took about 20min each time. Near the end we ordered a salmon head that never came. They finally said they ran out. Ok. Couldve just told us 2 orders and 30min ago. Compared to other ayce Japanese restaurants, we really felt like its not worth coming back to.

I ordered the grilled saury and found this gross green mush inside the fish. When I ask the waitress, she immediately informed not to eat the fish and got me brand me new chop sticks. Naturally, after having eaten a fair bit of the fish I was a bit concerned, so I asked her if she could ask the chef what exactly is wrong with the dish. She looked at me as though I was crazy and rather rudely replied, Why do you want to know that? So let me get this straight; you serve me fish that was spoilt, and then REFUSE to take responsibility for it? Not even willing answer the customers queries about it? Its not surprising that an hour after I left I started to experience severe stomach pain and nausea. Its only a matter of time before someone makes a complaint to the health department

Came here on a weekday evening. Sashimi was fresh and fried dishes were good. No missing orders. Service was efficient. Dont like how orders are limited to 9 pieces, but you can just submit another separate order.

Today I ordered takeout and tried the Chicken Stir fry with Oyster Sauce. By itself it cost $9.99, not including rice. If rice was ordered it would of been an extra $2.50. It was SO good. Perfectly cooked with good chunks of chicken and loads of fresh veggies. It was yummy. Would highly recommend. I hope to try another stir fry menu item next time I have also ordered take out twice so far in the last few months. It has been not bad. Price is good; service good. Good value for money. We usually order from Ai when were looking for something thats more middle ground: nothing fancy or super premium-quality, but still fresh, well-made, and good-quality. Their sushi/sashimi sets have decent variety, and the rolls are generously portioned. They also offer cooked food (like unagi donburi, fried rice, and fried noodles), so its also good food for family members or friends who do not like sushi/sashimi. We typically do take out, so we order ahead online or by phone. It can get busy on weekends and holidays, so its best to offer ahead of time if youre looking to grab a meal at a certain time.

So to begin with, they only take cash or debit which isnt outlined anywhere online. We spent $100 before tip for 2 all you can eat and 2 beers. For 100$ I dont think its worth it. The sushi was ok, nothing special, the meat suuuper fatty and the rest of the food was flavourless. I think the best part of the meal was the miso soup. I wouldnt return.

Food came fast and a server was always around

Two things; I get that all-you-can eat restaurants use a bit of salt on their meats to get you to fill up on water, but this restaurant is insane. The meats were covered in so much salt I couldn t even finish what I ordered, it was making my tongue numb, and I love salty dishes. And second, 1/3 of the tables there were occupied by sleeping employees. Yes, employees were laying down on the chairs and booths sleeping. I counted 6 of them. With those two things in mind, this was NOT worth the $40 per person to eat here. It was a such a bizarre experience and I m suprised there s so many good reviews.

went for ayce. sushi doesnt taste fresh, very mediocre. not very good varieties

Had to wait 25 to get 3 veggie rolls. The only negative part about AiSushi. Otherwise, i LOVED that they have more veggies than rice in their Maki rolls - I just tried the avocado roll and the veggie dragon roll - AiMazing!! I got a takeout, but their ambiance inside looks amazing!

Enjoyed my meal here and had a good variety of food and pretty good quality. Would come back!

If you order online they dont tell you when you food is ready; i waited 1 hour and got no response and when i called they said it has been ready for 50 minutes. They are too busy to click order is ready button according to them. Would not recommend as they did not even apologize or offer anything.

I just concluded a date at this fine establishment. Having previously enjoyed take out at another location I was pleased with the freshness and selection. This dining exprerience lived up to the positive experience I had previously. The oriental themed decor was well complemented with the helpful and friendly staff. The sanitarly encased cutlery was a nice touch. The only element to this that I would have prefered was an actual menu, however I understand that modern times cell phone usage is the norm to view menus. The selection of sushi and sashimi is best described as fresh and tasty. The varied menu will satiate the most demanding pallets. I most certainly would say to make this a place for the date night.

Worst food had hair in my ramen.. Tasted so bland and complete waste of money.. Gave me hives and itchiness in my throat.

The location is not very good. Xiaohong Bookstore looks quite big, but it is actually a very small store. I would not go there.

This is my go-to takeout place for well-priced sushi/sashimi platter for events. Gets the job done and in a reasonable time.

One of my familys go-to. We did gravitate more towards the meat/grilled/fried dishes than the actual sushi/sashimi here which was unremarkable. If you are a meat lover, this place is actually amazing. The dishes were really high quality, had a good variety, nicely presented, tasted good, and were hot/fresh/savory and kept us wanting more! 2 hours limit but everything came lightning fast. Portions can start from literally 1 piece so I appreciated that a lot.

The fish is super fresh which is so amazing. They slice the sashimi really thick though. The breading for their deep fried food is bland though and not the greatest. We decided to try a new sushi restaurant instead of going to our usual place. The restaurant is cute and well kept. Service was prompt and efficient. They have a lot of variety on the menu such as sushi, Thai dishes, soups (shocked they had ramen) , steak, short ribs. The steak and short ribs was soft and delicious which was impressive for a sushi place. Portion sizes are perfect- the udon noodle dish is big enough for 2-3 people and all other dishes you get to choose how many pcs you wanted. The sushi either came per pc or 4 per order which I loved this allowed us to try a variety of different sushi because most places it s 6-8pc and between 2 ppl that s quite a bit when ordered 3-4 kinds of sushi. Would definitely try again, great for a local spot
