my family and i come here every time we crave good food!! our favourite spot!

Deep fried chicken, sashimi bento box - yummy.

Food was okay nothing special. It was way better before. Menu looked so worn out cant even read some of it. Service was good except waiter keep putting his finger inside the soy sauce dish. But I remember theyre served better and more fresh fish before.

Wait time was not long, the food was great, and the service was top tier. No complaints.

The dishes were very delicious, especially the vegetable tempura it was crispy and flavorful. I will definitely come back in the future. The server was very polite, and the environment was very clean. There were Japanese ukiyo-e paintings on the walls and a small bar that made you feel like you were in a corner of Osaka.

I enjoy the bento boxes here, especially when it comes to their sushi, sashimi, and tempura. The quality is pretty good and the price is quite reasonable. The staff are friendly and nice. The place is a little small but the atmosphere is calming. Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant and definitely will come back. I only tried their Japanese items and I am sure their Korean ones are great too!

This place is so underrated! The food is amazing with so much variety, especially their sushi. The atmosphere is also clean and service is super friendly and fast. The price is also very reasonable. If you re craving Korean or Japanese food this is the place to go!

The tempura that came with it was delicious. Light, crispy, and not oily. The place also has such a good vibe because the people that work there are so pleasant, friendly, and hospitable! That makes all the difference. Wishing you continued success. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming. When we dined there for lunch, we had a kid in our group. There was also a large group, with 4 adults and 8 kids.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my Father-in-laws birthday last week. The whole family loved the food and the customer service. My son loves it so much that he wants to have his celebration at this restaurant, I couldnt agree more.

Went here for my grandpas birthday, and it was quite the enjoyable experience. The service was done by Rei, and he was very generous and executed his job flawlessly. Easily some of the best sushi Ive ever had. The barley tea that they serve is super concentrated in flavor, and I found myself drinking several cups worth. The tempura was very well battered, and my only disappointment was that my stomach isnt large enough to eat more. Would definitely come back here. Update: Just came back for my birthday, and ordered a different set of Sushi; Last time was mostly Sashimi. This is the only restaurant Ive been to where Ive enjoyed the California rolls.

Decent sushi in Scarborough. Good quality for value. This place is obviously run by a Korean owner so the Korean food is naturally better. Kalbi short ribs are a winner.

Amazing Philadelphia roll. Hidden gem

This is a wonderful little sushi restaurant in Scarborough. My friend and I prefer to come here on our own, and a couple of times when Niji was too busy. The food is great! Both the sushi and the Korean dishes are tasty and have good portion sizes. The customer service is excellent. Our server was so attentive, constantly pouring us tea and checking in with us to make sure we were satisfied. We came back not just because of the food, but also because we remembered the wonderful service Thank you!

This seems like an extremely underrated place. These guys serve Bento boxes, teriyaki, chirashi bowls, and various sushi rolls. They have excellent food presentation. The cook really takes the time and effort to make the sushi rolls look nice. The waiter was attentive and caring. They gave us a discount and an extra miso soup on the house without asking. Thank you! :)

The best sushi pizza, portion size and lunch special is amazing.

The Seafood Soon Tofu was really good and had lots of large pieces of mussels and shrimp. Our server was very attentive and careful about my allergies :D

Fabulous quality! Beautifully prepared. Very fresh and wonderful options. First time my husband and I tried this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We have found our new favourite sushi restaurant. Our 19 month old son loved the sushi too and devoured 2 bowls of the miso soup! Thank you for a delicious meal!

Went here Christmas Eve with Chinese family. Service was quick and attentive and helped us put our gear in a safe spot behind the counter. Had a funny feeling they were waiting for us to leave so that they could close but thats my own paranoia. Everything was lovely, but there was a fish dish that leaked a little (it should have been in a bowl but was instead on a plate).

The service was good, and the food was good too. I did not appreciate the ramen that much, but the chicken donburi was good (if not slightly salty). The best would probably have been the California roll that comes with the ramen. I did not expect it to be that delicious but it was probably one of the most delicious cali rolls Ive had in a while, considering Ive been to a number of Japanese restaurants.

One of my favourite sushi places! I ve been going to them for a while and their sushi has always been great. I especially love their sashimi donburi and tempura. They forgot to include a side sauce in my last order, and after calling them about it, they included free sashimi pieces. Really appreciated!

My go to place to get sushi in the area. The sushi is amazing and always consistent. Staff are friendly, place is clean so great to dine in or for take out. Prices are also quite decent.

We had the chp jae and it was delightful. The ebi shumai was small but tasty. The sushi was excellent.

So much food for such a great price! Got the veggie bento box and was so surprised they let me do a bunch of substitutions for the same price. Switched the tempura to all broccoli and yam, and switched the veggie roll to a yam tempura roll. For $22, great meal! Service was also very quick and attentive. Will definitely be back!

As soon as we walked in, the staff was so kind and welcoming. We went for dinner and ordered main dishes and appetizers. Food came very fast and excellent service. Sushi portions and sizes are so big and very filling. Definitely coming back, absolutely loved it and worth the prices!

Really delicious and beautifully presented specialty rolls, big portions too. The service was top notch and I would go back again just for the service alone. The waiter was very enthusiastic, adding water from time to time and asking how the food was. The food tastes good and the price is normal. The stone pot beef rice has enough ingredients and tastes good.

Their service was sooo good! We ordered the sushi and tempura bento and the sashimi and tempura bento. The tempura was really big and delicious! The sashimi was super fresh. They also refilled our water and tea frequently which I really appreciated. Also they gave these little chewy candies that were really good! Definitely will come back! :)

This place is VERY cute and has really great food. We dined in and it was such a pleasant experience. Not only was it very clean and well-lit, but the staff were very friendly. The food tasted amazing and the portions were huge! I cant recommend this place enough! You wont be disappointed! My favourite sushi in Scarborough, rivals many places in the city. Always fresh rice and good quality fish. Lunch specials are great and a good price.

We had the udon noodle with California roll, and also the bulgogi with sweet potatoes and rice. Waiters were very polite and food came fast.

This has been my go-to spot for bentos and sushi for over a year now, lovely atmosphere and the waiters always provide excellent service which is quite rare to see these days. Great place for casual dining. :)

The food is good and service was fine, but a little pricey and the place was for the most part empty but lots of take out orders.

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim and so glad we did. My boyfriend ordered Matsu Sushi and it was great. I ordered the tofu teriyaki and its a definite must for anyone looking for vegetarian options. Its so juicy with the right amount of sauce and crispiness. Cant wait to come here again! Not the best sushi in town. Rice grains were dry and not seasoned well with sushi rice flavours. Some fish tasted like they were thawed from frozen. Takoyaki were soggy and small, but tasted alright. But 7$ for 6 pieces doesnt sound very good.

The quality of the food is superb. The portions are good for the price. They have a wide variety. The place is aesthetically beautiful with a quiet and intimate ambience. The staff here are exceptionally polite and helpful. I felt like I was in a corner of Japan or Korea.

It was OK. The wasabi was not spicy as we expected. Otherwise, decoration was nice.

The foods amazing and they are very fast. I did a walk in oder and even while they were busy they made everything in less then 10 minutes. Ill definitely be back!

Had a great experience here! The waiter was very kind and the food was delicious. Got gyoza soup, crispy salmon roll (HUGE!), bulgogi dinner, and crispy gyoza. Would recommend this cute spot to anyone! Cant wait to come back and try more of the Korean food on the menu.

Food was fresh and delicious. Server has some communication skills issue. We asked her about the possibility of ordering lunch that is being offered M-F and she said yes but then said No when we are about to place the order.

I have a huge appetite, and got two filling meals out of my order.

I love ordering takoyaki and their bulgogi food is tasty and staff are friendly. If I didn t move I d still be going here often! Everything is a must in this restaurant. You guys should try their glass noodles as well

What an amazing place in Scarborough! The tempura rolls, bibimbap, japchae, and yaki udon tasted great! Shout out to the floor manager (Marc), who was friendly and always collected (even with the influx of customers!) making the experience even better.

Food was decent, prices were good (hasnt changed it years), but service was excellent. James (server) was very friendly, very polite, and wonderful. He handled the entire restaurant by himself.

Ordered Chirashi, did not eat it. Tuna was discoloured on the outside, and smelled like rotting meat. Ordered on a Saturday night, I wonder how many other people got the same thing and will be sick Sunday morning.

So me and my boyfriend decided to go out to get sushi, for date night. myself who doesn t eat much fish or much sushi I can be really picky! We chose this restaurant roll n bowl because a friend told us about it, it a little out of the way but we decided why not? Once we arrived we were welcomed so nicely and we were seated right away. We were served by the manager who was also training a new server that was very helpful and polite. We ordered more then one dish and the food is surprisingly filling even after one dish we had to take our other dishes home. Also the service was fast and the presentation was neat and clean and made so good. It was a clean restaurant not like mostly places in Toronto and the staff was so nice and prices was reasonable better then downtown to be honest, the have great deal which one of them I got was 10% off your bill when pay in cash! Charming, great service and fresh, well prepared food every time. Always worth driving here, even though its pretty far for me. Its so consistent. Parking: There is a medium sized parking lot, thats a little difficult to negotiate, and its very full most of the time. Wheelchair accessibility: easy access into the restaurant for those of us with mobility issues to get into the restaurant itself

I and my partner used to come here but there were so many instances that safe food handling standards were not being followed, for an instance, the server went to the washroom, mopped the floor and without washing his hands served our food. Also, there was this one time while waiting for our food, the server started mopping the restaurant floor with bleach, the smell was quite unpleasant and again he served our food without washing his hands. We decided to never come back to this sushi place, we value our bodies and we would rather not end up in the Emergency Department.

I went here after playing badminton as not many places were open around 8 on a Sunday. The server was friendly and welcomed us in. We were swift to order as we were hungry after breaking some sweat, and the food came out in 10 minutes or so. I ordered a pork bone soup (can t go wrong), and my friend ordered a Bento. Both dishes had good quantity and the food was delicious as well. The pork bone soup was worth the bucks, or in other words, solid dollar to protein ratio. Only thing that could be improved would be to step up the sidedish(banchan) game. Other than that, a solid place, would definitely return in the future.

Tried ROLL N BOWL. First time and it was amazing. Tried Dynamite roll and Matsu Sushi everything was great staff is so friendly (REI) they helped us to choose these dishes. Will come back again . Thank you guys
