Food was excellent, very appealing, tasted amazing. However we weren t asked if we wanted a drink other than water, also we weren t fully finished with the food, two more spoonfuls left and waiter just cleared the table without asking if we were finished.

Food is always a hit!! Favourite spot!! Must try the pad thai and green curry :=P Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating!

This place is fun and beautiful and the food is even more so. I wish I took pictures of the food before we ate it. I couldn t finish my whole bowl of curry last night so I just got to enjoy the leftovers for lunch. It s so good.

Everything was good but asking for a tip was not a good thing though. I am adding this part to the review because the owner of the restaurant replied to my review that I should tip if i did dine in. To the owner: If the service was good i should have given a tip. But as long as they are willing to serve us with a mean mentality sorry I wont do that. This was not a practice of your restaurant, i have been to other locations of jatujak, and they were polite and happy to help with the menus. This person was not so happy to see us there. And let me say.

Fast reliable and affordable healthy vegan/ vegetarian food. The only place that has not doubled in price and reduced quantity and quality of food. Atmosphere is top notch too! Very tranquil. Wheelchair Accessible as well and waiters open the doors for me and only one other establishment does that for me. Highly recommend

Love this thai Restaurant for their delicious pad thai and lunch specials prices was a good offer as well. Food was reasonable priced. We got the beef pad thai and chicken saty with mango salad. It was delicious. I did like the present of the dishes. It was about $40 plus a tip and a pop. The service was great. The ladies were friendly and polite. I love the atmosphere, and the decor of place was fun and very vibrant, very thai. Im definitely going back to try more food. Vegetarian options: All items are vegetarian. You just need to add a protien if you like.

VERY RUDE. Especially this lady Lyche. I was asking if their food was halal and the hung up on me after saying everything . I then dined in and 2nd waiter said everything is halal , I then asked for a halal certificate to be sure. They roughly gave me the clipboard where it said only chicken and lamb is halal. It started out fine we were seated despite not having a reservation. It was our first and maybe last time at this location. The customer service was bad bad. Our waiter forgot to bring us cutlery and i had to ask another waiter to bring it then he never brought us the drinks we ordered . And i decided not to remind them . Until the bill came n we saw we were being charged for it. The live singer was the best out of the whole experience.

Its a great experience here.You know why?? Bcz they are trying to reduce the waste from the earth.. But in what way?? Do you want to know?? By charging payment for the bag. When a guest pack the left over food then they will give the box but not any bag to carry to this. And I found this type of unprofessional behaviour very much unpleasant. If you want a bag you have to pay. Our food bill was almost $100. But till they refuse to give us a carry bag as complementary. This approach is not expected at all. Server are very much unprofessional. What ever be the situation they don t even try to understand, their reply remain same for every type of questions. I have no idea do they use their common sense or not.. Food and atmosphere was good but at the end their behaviour just spoil everything.

I ve been to other Jatujak locations and I m genuinely in love with this one - the decor, atmosphere, and food are absolutely spot on. Incredible! Vegetarian options: Tofu options available.

My go to Thai place, what s not to like? The food is amazing, portions are large, service is good and atmosphere is lovely! They have live music on Fridays.

Recently made a large catering order here for my husbands party. Ordered spring rolls, chicken satay, pad Thai, fish etc the food all came nicely packed and tight. Lots of extras, utensils, sauces. The quality of catered food was not sacrificed. Everything was absolutely delicious and our guests loved it. I ordered quite a bit of food but the food was so good, everyone just kept eating. Highly recommend their catering menu and will order here again!!

Favorite Thai place in Toronto! The fact that it s halal (at least as of now) makes it so much better. Pricing is really fair too, especially the lunch specials. The Pad Kee Mao is a MUST! So good, I crave it every week lol. The customer service is amazing most of the time. Interior of the place is stunning, great for dining in. The only reason I gave them a 4 star instead of 5 is because they can be *slightly* inconsistent with their food quality - meaning some days are not so great compared to others (not sure if this is due to a change in chefs or what) but overall still great & I highly recommend this place!

We were three and went there for a quick lunch last week. I ve had the pad thai for the first time in my life and really enjoyed it. The servers were friendly and the lunch menu is a good deal. The atmosphere is amazing and they accommodated the allergy needs. Would love to be back and try other food.

My first time here and I was impressed with the flavour of the food. Friend who brought me here had lived in Thailand previously and said it was the place that tasted most like the food back there. Appreciated the style of the fried egg noodles in the air held up by chopsticks.

This is my 2nd time in Jatujak, and my goodness!! Their exceptional Pad Thai is the best I told them to make it spicier, and yes, it tastes heavenly we ordered Thai calamari, which was also great, and their Thai Chai tea can make a slight improvement, but it is also awesome

The best place I have ever been. It took me back as if I was in Thailand. Reasonable price and good portions. The service was great. Our appetizer came 1st all at the same time. As soon as we were done, they cleared our table to prepare for our main dish. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 27 and went there on a Saturday evening. We ordered lots of of food and everything case in no more than 30 mins. Servers were great and I would recommend you to go there. Parking: Street parking Monday to Friday 9-6 paid. There are free parking lot on the opposite side of the road.

Came here on a Friday on a whim and the place is nicely decorated and had live music. Food was very good and pricing was fair! Service was abysmal unfortunately. At 6:30pm it wasnt very busy while we were dining and yet the server never checked on us after taking our order. I had to go up to the bar to ask for boxes and the check. After handing us boxes the check still didnt arrive until several minutes later. Server never once smiled or had any signs of friendly customer service.

Best place for Thai food!

We have been to Jatujak before but its always been take out. It was our first time at this location. The atmosphere was great with a live singer. Service was super fast. We got our order within 10-15 mins after placing it. The food overall tasted great. The complaint and the reason for the 4 stars was first the service. It was bit too fast. We got our appetizers and not even a few minutes later got the mains. Also, the spicy chicken, it was dry and cold, seemed like it had been out for a while. Overall, we probably wont go back to this location and maybe stick to takeout from one of their other locations.

I love Jatujak and have been to their other location on Victoria Park many times. I wish there were half stars to give as I d give my experience here a 3.5 stars. This location is bigger and nicer with lots of decor. We ordered takeout this time and got 4 lunch specials and 1 item off of their chef recommended menu - Pomelo salad. We felt like the takeout portions were smaller than dining in and the pomelo salad was good, but what we got definitely wasn t worth the cost. It was literally half a pomelo with 2 shrimps and sauce. It was good, other me wrong, but it just didn t justify the cost. With that said, I m a returning customer and definitely worth a try for really good Thai in the east end.

We selected this establishment due to its favorable reviews on Skip the Dishes, and it exceeded our expectations. While we anticipated the cuisine to be of high quality, the ambiance and service pleasantly surprised us. This is such a hidden and lovely spot amongst the derelict spaces and boarded up storefronts along the Kingston strip. From outside, it might appear unassuming, but the environment inside is very lovely. There is a wall of vertical cuts of wood, a ceiling of woven grass circles ( I have not added pictures, in the hopes you will go to see it all for yourself). The menu is very versatile, and the food is authentic and well prepared. The value, portion sizes, and taste is exceptional, and this is a spot that you can safely go to for a quick lunch or sit in for a proper dinner. (WORTHY TRY:) The Jatujak pad thai is perfection!! Please try the lemon grass wings and the spring rolls (appetizers menu)

Its great having a fantastic Thai restaurant within walking distance, Ive been a fan since before they moved closer but since theyve Ive convinced my family to go there for dinners and also go myself other times. Food is fantastic and service is incredibly fast.

This place has a really authentic feel to it, Ive had authentic Thai food before and this is the closest to authenticity that I have found in Scarborough. If you cannot handle spice dont waste your money here, I love spicy food, therefore I extremely enjoyed coming here. Parking sucks though, but thats not their fault, just a heads up if you decide on coming here by car, other than that its all good

Jatujak is our go to thai place! My family and I love the food here!

The food is fine but the papaya salad was not fresh. We asked for a replacement and the servers eventually replaced it but it took some convincing. Been to better Thai places around town. This review is honest because it is not written for a free drink (which they offer for a good review).

Im not a big fan of rice. Which there was a lot of the taste of my lunch was unusual. The add on salad with Manho was very good and just the right size. The spring roll dip was great. The server was pleasant and fast.

This is one of the best places to experience good Thai cuisine. The ambience is great with a very unique vibe of its own, the staff is very friendly and they make sure you get your order in a jiffy. The food is very authentic and full of flavour. On my recent trip the staff displayed extraordinary service - one of the guests that I was entertaining left back her wallet. Before she realized it we got a call from the restaurant informing us that the wallet was safe and with them. This definitely was a perfect example of going beyond ones call of duty. Thank you everyone at JatuJak for making our visit a very memorable one!

Tried this place last week. The new menu is so pretty. I like the dishes but the salad a bit to strong and to flavourful(to much sauce maybe)The other dish I had was in a coconut shell. (Didn t know it comes with rice so I ordered sticky rice,plain rice went with it alot better) It s good, a bit creamy. I couldn t finished all. Thai milk tea typical. It s a good Thai place.

I have been to the other locations at Victoria Park and in Markham. This location has terrible customer service. After the server brought our order, they absolutely disappeared. I tried to get the ladys attention several times but she was not glancing at our table for a single moment while checking in on the other tables regularly. My mother had enough and decided to pay at the register. Meanwhile she was trying to do that, I was still trying to get the severs attention to bring me takeout containers to no avail. I finally called the establishment to request takeout containers. It was really pathetic.

We came today for dine in, don t get me wrong the food was 7.5 it was good. But what got us giving this a 2 star is because of the customer service. Outside the restaurant banner had a patio type railing and we thought there was a patio and asked one of the waitress if there is a patio. The waitress is this tall girl with blonde highlights and glasses gave us a very rude answer and attitude and It was also my first time being in jatujak too. Other waitress working today was very polite and nice but her. Due to that won t be coming there any more almost lost my appetite. She needs more training on better customer service skills.

I was at the restaurant two days ago with my daughter, sister and nephew and we had the worst service from one of the waitresses who works there. She lacks customer service skills and had an attitude. She kept speaking over us and I think she may have been racist. I have order from this restaurant more times than I can count. I only ate at the restaurant once but I will never order or eat from this restaurant again.

I had a great time here. If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine, you must come try Jatujak. The staff (waiters and chefs both) are Thai. Thats how you know its authentic. Very kind and polite. I recommend the Gaeng Panang and the Tom Yum soup. I always get extra meat. If youre a spice lover, you wont be disappointed in how much it packs. Ive never had a bad meal here, always lives up to expectations. Lastly the atmosphere feels very cultural which I appreciate. A lot of effort has been put in and you can feel it. I know. I didnt take a picture of the dish Im reviewing here (the Pad Thai), but you need to try this signature dish here. It was mind blowing to realize that in Canada you can get a better Pad Thai than Bangkok IMO. On top of that, the service was sensational. Pim was so caring and accommodating that we left the place with a smile till we got home. Coming back next week.

Jatujak is excellent Thai food. We love jatujak fried rice, spicy crispy chicken and red curry with chicken.

I tasted Thai Iced tea, Gaeng Panang, Jatujak Pad Thai. Food tasted really good. Rice with panang was okish. But they delivered me thai iced tea on a curry box idk why! Overall, the food is good. Recommended. Day 2: Ordered Pad Thai chicken, it was good as always. However, pineapple fried rice was not up to the mark. The pineapples are largely cubes, and the rice has pretty average flavor with pineapple essence. But, staffs are very good and restaurant is nicely decorated with proper cleaning.
