SISAKET Thai is a Family -owned Authentic Thai Cuisine Kitchen, serving dishes from all over Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Northeastern Isaan Region delicacies. Our mission is to provide the Best tasting AuthenticThai foods, using freshest Thai ingredients & herbs, prepared with care, and delivered with enjoyable service interactions.
🤤🤤🤤 that soup is to die for. More soup/broth than ingredients or chunks of goodness. Beautiful aromatic rice. Ughhhh seriously the flavor. What sucks is more broth/soup than anything. Not enuff "chunks of veg or animal carcass". But the damn flavors are so rich and beautiful!! Rich coconut I ordered medium spicy and has no kick or bite to it. Tofu and veg more abundant than any carcass. The farts felt thighs quaking and belches comin out were tasty yet insane. Bizarre after taste. Food arrived warm not steaming hot possibly due delivery distance. There was a WHOOOLE ass piece of ginger in soup 😑. Despite the inconsistent ratio for the broth and curries vs the pieces or chunks of meat and veg inside them this place is DEFINITELY a 5 ⭐ joint based on flavor profile alone. You can tell this place just doesn't "make food" it's food made with love. Every restaurant can have an "off day", I will be trying this place for a second time for sure.
If you're in Scarborough and craving authentic Thai food, Sisaket is a hidden gem you don't want to miss. Despite being a small spot, the quality of the food rivals some of the bigger Thai restaurants in Toronto. We kicked things off with their Pad Thai, which was perfectly balanced — just the right amount of sweetness, tang, and crunch. The Tom Yum soup was another standout, with a rich, flavorful broth that had the perfect level of spice. It hit all the right notes, warming you up with every spoonful. To wash it all down, we had their Thai iced tea, which was refreshing and sweet without being overwhelming. The cozy vibe and friendly service make this spot a real treat — definitely a place worth visiting again and again. Highly recommend!
Very tasty authentic Thai food at Sisaket. We ordered Som tum (papaya salad), Laab Mhoo, Pad Mhee chom poo, and the appetizer corn and taro fritter…. Love everything - worth every penny. Great customer service Definitely we will go back again.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto. Spice levels are real 😂. Be mindful when ordering. Food was so authentic 9/10
Authentic Thai food with good vibe. The lunch menu is really a good deal. Must try Sisaket if you visit here or just like like us came all the long way from Montreal to try the real Thai food 🤗
My wife & I ordered green mango salad, pad kee mao with shrimp, chicken pad thai, green curry chicken with steamed rice, and Thai iced tea for drinks. Everything was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. The lunch combos are a great deal. This is our new favourite Thai restaurant. The owners are very kind and friendly. Try this restaurant for yourself, you won’t regret it! Updated review Feb 23: We dined in again today. Can’t stay away. We ordered our regular fav mains and tried a new item we have not tried before — Laos style papaya salad. The salad was spicy (as we ordered), and very flavourful. Also tried their lunch size Tom yum soup for the first time and really enjoyed it. The lemongrass flavoured soup was rich and fulsome with a generous helping of veggies and tofu. Absolutely delicious!!! Their Thai iced tea is also excellent. We also had a nice chat again with the owners; such a lovely couple. We will be back again and again to continue to try their many varied menu items and can’t wait to bring other family members there. Forgot to take photos as we couldn’t wait to dig into our food!
I recently visited this establishment, which boasts a 4.7-star Google rating, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. My party consisted of two people, and we both ordered the lunch combo. We savored the Pad Thai with chicken, Green Curry chicken, Mango salad, and Tom Yum soup, and each dish was incredibly delicious. I particularly recommend the Mango salad, which is a delightful blend of nuts, carrots, veggies, and, of course, Mango; it's hands down the best Mango salad I've ever had. The service was top-notch, and our food arrived promptly, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, the restaurant offers a selection of Thai products for sale, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for its delectable food, efficient service, and unique Thai products.
I brought my sons for lunch and loved the food so much I had to bring my husband to try it too. The lunch special is $12.99, a great value especially since it's a dinner sized portion. You can add on a mango salad or tom yum soup for $3.50 and a spring roll for $2.50. They also have a great appetizer platter to try different things. Dinner was the time to try more main dishes so we ordered more as I love leftovers. Pad See Ew with tender beef tasted amazing. The papaya salad has so much flavour and texture. The Tom Yum fried rice is so unique and delicious. Chef Noi, her husband and son even came to us and had a lovely chat with them. Such a great family run restaurant with incredible food. We can't wait to come back to try more dishes.
Vegetarian options: Dishes have the option to choose tofu as a protein source. Food
Food was great but the service was just okay since I think they were busy with takeout. What was the most disappointing is that I was charged an extra 2 dollars for a slice of lime. Had I known I wouldn t have asked.
Sisaket has to be one of my top 3 restaurants in Toronto! Definitely my number one Thai restaurant! I live all the way in Mississauga and I will drive here in a heartbeat if I am craving Thai food. You can tell that they put so much heart and soul into their cooking. The flavours are amazing! I ve been to a lot of other Thai places in Toronto and Sisaket just nails the flavours so well! I have never had one bad dish from them. Every time I try a new dish it always makes me love this restaurant even more! And I have to say, the prices are very very reasonable for the quality of food you get. They also offer a 10% off discount if you pay by cash. Aside from the amazing food, the service is unmatched. They really make sure to take care of you and they go above and beyond. Really great service all around and you can tell they re genuine and they just love what they do. I can t recommend Sisaket more to everyone who wants spectacular food and service! Which nowadays is very hard to find a restaurant that excels at both. Do yourself a favour and don t think twice about coming here. You won t regret it!
BEST THAI FOOD IVE EVER HAD!!!! 5Star!!!
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Pad Thai Parking options
Small cozy Thai restaurant with great customer service. Try Kow soy chicken , you will not regret it. Every bite was delicious.
Excellent food, great customer service. We will be back. Food
Im thrilled to have discovered such a gem serving the Upper Beaches and Birchcliff community. The food and service here are both 10/10. I had a great conversation with the owner, who helped me select kid-friendly takeout options and even provided spicy oil on the side for my wife and me. Everything we ordered was fantastic. One of the top Thai restaurants in the GTA and it s such a cool, laid back spot.
The food was amazing! We tried the coconut shrimp, Tom Yum soup, and pad seeew. Everything was delicious, but our favourite was the coconut shrimp! The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy too.
Lots of variety on the menu, including stuff you don t find in regular Thai restaurants. The appetizer plate for two is massive and tasty pad thai was probably the best I ve ever had. Beef Penang was so so. Too many green and red peppers on the plate and beef was a tad chewy. Shrimp curry was tasty and generous. Mango sticky rice was excellent and also a very generous portion. The service started off very shaky took a long time to get our order in. Service improved quickly when the food started coming out and another gentleman took over. The restaurant is tiny so if you plan on dining in, make sure you call ahead. A good experience overall, and I will return.
Such a hidden gem! Amazing food, great service. Will definitely come back to try more
The food was top notch, the gentleman who took are order really took care of us, and made sure everything was up to their standards. Service was excellent and food was there to back it up. I would definitely come back.
This place is amazing!!! The service was quick, attentive and genuine. The food was hands down the best Thai food you will find in Toronto
By far the best Thai food I ve ever had, all the flavours were so well balanced and each element was perfectly prepared. The serving sizes were very generous too with such reasonable prices, especially for what you get. The service was great also, super intuitive and genuine. Will definitely be back!
Randomly trying something new and got the best food in toronto .
Amazing food and even better service
I was very disappointed in a couple things from this restaurant. The little size dishes were ridiculous for the price. I ordered the lemongrass soup, tiny little bowl & I ordered large. There was a few green peppers, little tofu, 2 onion slices & the broth tasted like a very boring beef broth. Mango salad was just ok. Pad sew was a joke for Thai food. Very expensive for what we got.
ANAZING FOOD
Wow Nice food and good service mind. I will be back again Delicious food, impressive service I recommend the basil menu. Vegetarian options: Recommended menu: fried corn, fried taro.
Have been here a total of three times and decided to dine in as usually I take food to go or order in. The service, atmosphere and food were all AWE-MAZING. It was quite lovely to have the ppace to myself as well while looking outside. Highly recommend eat here whether its ordering for take out or dining in. The prices are also more than reasonable!
The flavor, the spice level, the portion size, this place is the real deal. Tried the drunken noodle and green curry, both were flavor bombs. My wife has been coming here with her colleagues for a while now and I totally get the hype!!
Great pad Thai. Had the lunch special
Delicious food and welcoming atmosphere! Would be back :)
Absolutely fantastic. We just picked up their shrimp cold roll and Crispy Spicy Pork and they were the best .. delicious !!!! You cannot go wrong with this place. Food
Always good food, always.
Nice hidden gem for Thai food!
This place is spectacular Just go. Worth every penny. Fiercely fresh and flavorful. Deep rich flavors without needing to be blow your ears out spicy. Love the pad see ew and the Khao soi. Pickup some of the house chili oil if you want a kick. Vegetarian options: The tofu is an excellent option for the pad see ew. Maybe better than the beef if you are like me a former veg who enjoys meat and vegetarian options equally
This is the best Thai food in the Upper Beach!!!
My husband and I went for dinner tonight and we were so pleased with Sisaket! The service was charming right form the start. The food was FANTASTIC. We started with the Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup, and it tasted exactly the way I want it to taste - absolutely packed with flavour. We had the green curry, which was decadent and deeply delicious, with just the right amount of heat. The cashew stir fry was sweet, had tons of veggie, and was so very tasty. The pad thai had a lovely tamarind flavour. My husband is gluten free and they gladly This will definitely be our go-to thai place from now on. Im so excited to try even more! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free friendly
Very tasty and if you like spicy food, definitely try medium or spicy. Here you can try some more unique dishes that are not as widely offered at most Thai restaurants. They also have a really good chilli oil that you can take home - its smoky, spicy and garlicky.
Very good food but inconsistent when swamped. I ordered a green curry with rice for pickup, this part is my fault for not checking the ticket or opening the bag but I was given a red curry with no rice. The curry itself is half a portion, less than half of the takeout bowl was filled, now I m having to cook my own rice to eat my $20 half portion of red curry. The portion size and lacking items is not acceptable, I haven t had this issue previously but this is egregious enough to make a different review.
Always wanted to try this place after it was promoted on CBC radio one morning. Modest atmosphere but the food was fantastic. Very flavourful and well prepared. Outstanding service . The gentleman who owns the place is very nice. Will definitely go back and recommend
Our favourite Thai spot in the East End! Delicious food and very friendly service!
Lovely place. Delicious pad Thai. Will be back to try more.
Very nice staff
Had an excellent family style dinner here about a week ago. The food was excellent. Very flavorful and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.
Extremely tasty Thai cuisine. Really friendly staff.
Loved everything about it
Very authentic flavours of Thailand! SO GOOD!
Food was great, a little on the spicier side. The staff are very friendly, the service is fast, the selection is great and the atmosphere is cozy.
Beware: bloody chicken Make sure you check before eating. All 5 chicken pieces ($12.99) were bloody. Still had to pay for the chicken (as they made a new order) but the appetite was already ruined when it should have been ON THE HOUSE. The male server was good but Food portion is small, a bit on the pricey side, taste of the beef is mediocre. JATJUJAK is the BETTER option in terms of Thai Food.
I love Sisaket! The food is always fresh and flavourful, portions are great, and the management and staff are so friendly! Would highly recommend placing takeout orders through them directly via phone call or their website vs the food delivery apps. I feel better knowing all my money goes to this small business. Their website was super easy to navigate! They are a gem in the community. My go to s are the Pad Thai and Green Curry, but I have also enjoyed the Pork Skewers, Spring Rolls, Holy Basil and Khao Soi, all great!
The protein portion is very low compared to other Thai restaurants in that area. Food is average, nothing special. Overall, not worth it compared to the price you re paying. I read some other reviews, where the owner justified the thickness of tom yum soup. I had some of the other Thai restaurants and their tom yum is thicker than Sisaket and the protein is also very generous portion for additional $1. They charge $2.50 extra for chicken and still fail to meet the restaurants who charge a loonie extra. Sorry but you don t deserve more than a star.
Love love love the food here! The green curry and coconut shrimp are my go to s and the service is here always feels warm and welcoming. Definitely try the khao soi here as well, you won t regret it!
Awesome Thai joint. Service was quick and the food was tasty! We tried several dishes and they all were excellent.
Im incredibly impressed by the pad thai. Its one of the best Ive ever had. The staff is so kind and welcoming. This place is a true gem.
Authentic Thai food that tantalizes your taste buds with explosion of flavours, at reasonable prices. I tried their pad Thai, massaman curry, mango salad. All were attractively presented with generous toppings and good quality ingredients. I ll be back again.
We went to sisaket when they first opened and visited again recently. Their food has improved, even more delicious. The chef is Thai so the food is very authentic. We have been to other Thai restaurants and Sisaket tastes more homey than others. Highly recommended.
Cozy family run restaurant. Flavors are amazing, better than a lot of the other chain thai restaurants in the city. Khao Soi and Pad Gra Pao are a must try
This mom and pop shop are probably the best Thai spot I have had in toronto. I have been to quite a few. Just getting back from Thailand this was the closest thing I had to back there. Try their Chilli oil. We bought a bottle of it. So good. They were kind enough to give us a Longan tea which is incredibly refreshing. We will be back in no time. One of our favorite spots.
Really great and very close to golf course. Have something sweet if your sour at the greens
Very delicious! We got the pad Thai (mild for kids), spring rolls, shrimp chips, and other curries the owner/server recommended. Everything was great! Medium is quite spicy (think: almost fire noodles) so order with care!
Probably the best Thai food weve ever had (went with family and we all agreed!). Most of our party is vegetarian but there were tasty options for everyone. They were even able to accommodate my daughters nut/egg allergies. From what I heard from other tables (its a small restaurant), it seems like quite a few people with vegetarian/vegan diets visit there. (Would recommend the mango coconut sticky rice to finish off a great meal.) The restaurant itself is quaint and service was great. Would definitely recommend.
The food tasted decent but overall the takeout experience was disappointing for a few reasons 1) there were pieces of chicken floating in what was supposed to be a tofu/veg red curry 2) prices charged at pick up were higher than shown on the restaurant s own website, which is from where we based our phone in order 3) portions were quite smaller than expected as compared to other Thai restaurants in the area Wouldn t choose to go back there for these reasons.
EDIT: I originally had left a negative review due to some issues with declining quality of my favourite dish, Pad Kee Mao. The last few times I had ordered this dish, the noodles were broken and very mushy. After leaving the review, the owner promptly responded to my review and actually called me to explain how they would revise their processes to ensure higher quality. Based on this, I can tell the owners care so much about their customers and I feel very valued as a loyal customer. The dish was cooked perfectly on my next order and I remembered instantly why I love coming to this restaurant.
Nice ambiance and food
Second time being here! And the food is amazing both times we ve been here glad to have them in the neighborhood
We had UberEats delivered the food for dinner yesterday. Actually my brother living out-of-town ordered it for us as a treat. He picked Sisaket based on online reviews. The Pad See Ew was too salty. The steamed rice that came with the Red Curry was like paste (cooked too much water). The beef in the curry too lean and a bit overcooked (maybe due to the delivery), and tasted a little dry.
This place is really cozy and the food is great. The service was super polite and courteous. Vegetarian options: Almost everything can be made to be vegetarian just without adding certain proteins.
Super cleaned and amazing atmosphere. Very lovely people
The best Thai restaurant! Love everything I ve tried, especially the Green chicken curry, mango salad, fritters, veggie spring rolls, and chicken Khao Soi. Staff is always friendly.
This place makes the best Thai food. Very authentic and extremely tasty dishes. The service is excellent and the staff is very very friendly. If you want to eat the best thin food in the city, this is the place to go to
Living in Thailand since 2 decades I can say the food at Sisaket on Toronto is exquisite, very authentic and done with real passion and creativity. Ate there a few times. The best thing is their value for money and specials. As for the service you cannot find more knowledgeable and friendlier staff. A kudos to the owners and Chef!! Definitely when back in town I will return. Cheers, Martino Kid-friendliness: Just ask the Chef or staff and they are so accommodating
I 3njoyed the food, its tasty and affordable.
Kris was fantastic. Great tasting food, fantastic service, attention to detail. Great lunch specials!! Thank you for the comforting meal!!!
The food is simply delicious. The servings are just right, everything is made with care, they even make their own chili oil! Beware on that one by the way, its spicier than it smells. Youve been warned! It does taste awesome, though, so give it a go! All in all, very enjoyable, and fairly priced.
This is not a 4 star resturant. Food is just average
Such a great experience and service with delicious food made right.
Stopped in to get take out. Ordered two Chicken Pad Thai and I have to say, it was one of the best Ive ever had! Really looking forward to visiting some time to try more dishes and dine in at the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly! Thank you!
#whenhungerstrikes17 Our journey takes us to this small Thai restaurant at Kingston Rd and Warden Ave. The decor is charming and welcoming. Some pictures of menu items hanging on the wall. Some small wooden tables and chairs for dine-in guests. The restaurant was not busy when we visited around 1:30 pm on a Sunday. Parking is only paid street parking, which is $2.75 per hour via Green P. We ordered a bunch of lunch specials at $12.99. It comes with choice of pop or you can upgrade to premium drink for $3.50 like Thai Ice tea, Thai lemon tea, Thai matcha green tea, Thai ice coffee (O-Liang), Mango/guava/pineapple juice, Thai coco water. The Thai ice tea was served in a mason jar mug. Very refreshing drink. The appetizers were good. We got the deep-fried coco shrimps (6) $13.25. The shrimps were served with a coleslaw salad and a tamarind dipping sauce. We tried the pork satay skewers (3) $10.95. The skewers were served with peanut dipping sauce and pickled daikon and carrots. The skewers were a bit on the small side. The green curry chicken lunch special was a standout. The broth was aromatic and spicy. The curry was served in a small bowl with chicken breast, bamboo shoots, green peppers, and broccoli. My wife enjoyed her curry. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao - Drunken noodles, which is a stir fried thick rice noodle with scrambled egg, bell peppers, fresh chilies, bamboo, young green peppercorn in Thai basil sauce. The noodles were not too spicy and just the right depth of flavors. The A9 papaya salad appetizer platter (4 person) $45.99 was kind of pricey but offerred a variety of appetizers like spring rolls, coco shrimp, tofu wedges, salted egg, shrimp chips and choice of green mango or papaya salad. The platter is nicely presented, but its hard to justify the price point. Overall, it was a great experience. The server was very kind and courteous. They also sell some Thai local products on a shelf. We wanted to order the mango sticky rice dessert, but unfortunately, mangoes were not in season, so the dessert was not available. I would definitely come back. I just wish they were closer to home. #whenhungerstrikes definitely mark this one on your bucket list. I will try their Khao Soi noodles next time.
Ordered on Doordash but the food so good I had to review here. Wow that was one of the best thai food Ive ever had and ive tried many! First time trying Khao Soi as Ive always ordered Pad Kee Mao or other dishes and wow that sauce was FANTASTIC. Padthai was delicious. Springrolls at other Thai places are usually not good but this was def THE BEST thai springroll. Thank you for the amazing food. Will be a long term customer
Best in Toronto
Wonderful Thai restaurant in the community! Great khao soi, Thai holy basil, and pad thai! Can sometimes get busy and seating is limited, but takeout portions are good!
Always an incredible dining experience. The staff are so sweet and the food is SO delicious, Ive eaten here many times and tried quite a few dishes. Big fan of the Khao Soi and the rest of their curries. Highly recommend, a gem in the east end. Vegetarian options: Theres more than one and theyre all delicious!
Absolutely beautiful restaurant, the service is beyond amazing and the food is to die for, highly recommend this restaurant for lunch dinner of even a snack!
Found our new go-to Thai restaurant in the east end! Everything was delicious: spring rolls, khao soi, pad thai, eggplant delight. The massaman curry was good, but the potatoes were slightly underdone/hard. Perfection in every other way. Will order again and again. Food
My husband and i absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always delicious, we ve tried a number of things on the menu. The service is great, the owners are incredibly kind and really care about the food and customer experience. And they can do modifications for any dietary issues that don t compensate on flavor. Such great Thai, it s our go-to!!! You gotta eat here
Best Thai Food and best servers in town!!!
Had pad thai there which I didn t like.
The food was prepared fresh, was SO flavourful, spicy without just been HOT for the sake of it. We ordered two dishes to share and were able to have enough to take away for lunch the next day. The server (we think the owner) was the right level of attentive and hands-off, with genuine care and gratitude. This will be our new haunt!
Food is amazing, fast, and fresh! I was sad to see the other thai restaurant go, but honestly Sisaket is an upgrade! Owners are super nice, and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing food! Authentic and delicious. The staff are amazing and they helped plan a wonderful party for us at the restaurant Vegetarian options: A lot of veggie options Kid-friendliness: We had two kids with us and they were welcomed and accomodated
Ordered food from Uber eats, before that I called the restaurant to make my order as per special instructions, the person who picked up call was understood my request and made it really well. I was looking for Good Thai restaurant from very long time, had tried many different restaurants but I think finally found the best Thai food. I had ordered Vegan Pineapple fried and Pad Thai taste and portion size was adequate and delicious. Will be ordering from you AGAIN SOON!
Ordered N1 Pad Thai with beef, C2 massaman with beef, N4 Khao Soi with beef, Virgin strawberry mojito and a Thai iced coffee. Pad Thai was average and more wet than what we are used to. The Khao Soi and massaman was not bad. All dishes were a tad too salty for us. The beef used for the massaman and Khao Soi was too lean so it tasted dry. As others have said, its too expensive for the portion that they serve.
The restaurant is cozy and has a good ambience. The pad thai was average for the price point. The green curry was good but it had too much eggplant, in comparison to other vegetables. The rice potion was small when compared to how much green curry we had.
The Coconut Soup was good. The Pad See Ew was not so great. It had an unpleasant eggy smell to it The Cashew StirrFry was ok, had very few cashews though. The Panang Curry Gaeng was good. Portions are small. Service was good. Parking: In the evening parking is free on the street.
AMAZING PAD THAI!!!!! Blown away with how good this dish is. Also got the Pad Sew via Uber Eats. The best I ve ever had!!! Will definitely be recommending to others.
If you are looking for Halal thai food, you should give this place a try. Staffs are very welcoming and i really like the thai themed atmosphere. I loved their Tom Yum Soup and Pad Thai. Highly recommended Dietary restrictions: Halal
We made a reservation at Sisaket for 7 and arrived on time. However, they did not have a table ready for us and tried to first seat us at a 4-seater table. This showed poor planning on their part. They had to rearrange several tables and seated us by the door. It is January, so every time the door was opened, a cold draft came in. Most of my family members had to keep their jackets on the entire time we were there. We placed our order, and the food took 45 mins to come out. The takeout orders were coming out swiftly, which shows they prioritize their takeout customers, and the ones seated are ignored. We told the waiter to ensure all the food was made with low sodium as we read several reviews stating that the food was salty. However, the Laos Papaya salad I ordered was extremely salty. The medium rare steak my partner ordered came out well done (see picture), and they said they ran out of beef when it came to serving me the khao soi. They said they had JUST run out, which meant that they prioritized one of the takeout orders with beef, leaving the customers in-store with fewer options. Very disappointing. The other family members ordered a fried fish with mango salad and pad see ew, which they enjoyed. Im not sure what was wrong with my Khao Soi, but ever since I got home, I have been having diarrhea. Ive never had this happen when ordering Khao Soi at other restaurants (its my favorite), so Im quite saddened by the overall experience from such a highly rated restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Very friendly staff, food is excellent, not expensive at all, overall great hospitality. Thanks sisaket Thai kitchen.
Great customer service and staff. Very tasty food. Authentic Thai cuisine at a great price. Portion size is just right.
My wife and I went to Sisaket on New Years Eve for a quick bite. We intentionslly over-ordered because everything looked so good. We wanted to try as many things as possible. The food was incredible - fresh and flavourful, and staff were delightful. The kitchen staff even came out to check on how things were. This is definitely our new go-to place for Thai.
My new favorite Thai spot in Torontos East. Sisaket is a must try for authentic Thai fare! Do the Khao Soi & ask if Chef Noi is trying anything new in the kitchen!
Loved the food! We eat alot of Thai food and this place is definitely one of our favourites. Price is very reasonable. The service was exceptional. Will definitely go back!
This place is great! Had the green curry, pad thai and the spring rolls. The green curry was one of the best Ive ever and thats including being in Thailand. Great food, would go again.
I was here precisely two weeks ago, and was totally blown away by the menu, the friendliness of the owners, the quality of the food, and the value. We are no strangers to Thai food, and have eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in Toronto. All I can say is that Im thrilled that its in my neighbourhood. A welcome addition to the Kingston Road strip. Kris was great -- gave good guidance on the menu, and we had the Khao Soy, as its one of our favourite Thai dishes. Chef Noi knocked it out of the park. I liked it so much -- were going there tonight.
Such a great find. This is a little hole in the wall on Kingston road that I drive past all the time. Finally went in for dinner it s awesome. The squash fritters and grilled mushroom salad are amazing. We also really enjoyed the Laos style green papaya salad - proper funky in the best way. Also the chefs homemade chilli oil is so glad I found this place - some of the best Thai I have had in toronto in a long time!
The perfect and authentic Thai restaurant.
SISAKET food is always fresh, and delicious! So nice to have in the Birch Cliff neighbourhood!
One of the best Thai spots in the east end. The Tom Kha is amazing and refreshing, and the Sirloin Beef Steak is to die for - guaranteed to blow you away. Great service as well, highly recommend!
Very lovely restaurant, delicious food and drink, the manager and the owner are both very nice!
Friendly owners. Tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere.
Incredible pad Thai and chicken wings. Exceptional, friendly service. I really recommend you try this place.
Amazing food!!! Quaint restaurant and Excellent service... shall definitely be back!
Absolutely loved the food, great service and a very cozy spot
Even better than the previous Thai restaurant that was in that space. Owners are very friendly, and food has never been disappointing. Favorite place in the neighborhood by far!
Very good, reliable dining experience. Vegetarian options: Items allow protein selection Dietary restrictions: Protein option for menu items; server asks if you have peanut allergy; both indicated on menu.
They go above and beyond to make their customers happy! We recently celebrated my FILs bday and the staff had made sure we had a warm welcome filled with surprise!! Without doubt the food was top notch, will ne back to try more dishes!!
I m sure their food is delicious and I wish I could ve tasted it. But unfortunately they re more interested in taking phone orders then taking walk-in customers for takeout. It s too bad. I get it they re busy but when a phone call rings you can say, please hold the line and serve the client that s been standing in front of you for the last five minutes.
Came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was by far on of the top Thai restaurants in the city. The staff was warm and friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend their shrimp chips, Thai ice tea, and mango sticky rice. Their mango sticky rice is arguably best in the city.
Went into this place for the first time, what a warm welcome by Chris who is the husband of the chef Noi. It s been a long time since I ve had a warm welcome and an authentic experience with someone at a restaurant. I believe it s owned by husband and wife, cute little place and food is authentic. I will be coming back and already shared it with people I know.
The food is delicious
We were on our way to some other place and came across this restaurant by chance. We stopped by and ordered a Mango Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice, and a Mango Juice. The juice was concentrated and mixed with cream, which didnt taste nice. But that was forgotten as soon as we started eating. The Mango salad was tasty, and made even better with the squeezing of the orange segment they had in there. Then the dressing for the fried rice was the perfect kick to an already tasty dish. We wiped it all clean and if we are in the area, there is no doubt well be ordering from here again.
Delicious food and amazing service. Not quite my favourite thai restaurant in Toronto, but with a cuisine as delicious as Thai it doesnt really matter, its all great. Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian
Green Curry, Wings and Mango salad is my top choice.
Amazing little Thai place. Food was tasty and high quality and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend their zucchini squash fritters
Authentic Thai dishes,very good.
really this food is made for your soul. all the flavors are incredible, the vegetables completely fresh, the protein is incredible. Thank you for making our visit such a success, and Aris service is incredible. Thanks to the chef and her husband for such an incredible restaurant.
I ll caveat that I ordered this food through Uber, and acknowledge that the quality suffers as a result, but the Sisaket Pad Thai has zero redeeming qualities.
Most amazing Thai food and amazing service
Best Thai Food Ever!
Delicious! Thanks to Chris and team for making a delicious Pad Thai that reminds me of Thailand! Food : 5/5
AMAZING!!!!! I ordered the pineapple shrimp fried rice with Pad sew today both no egg and my rice order was messed up because there was egg in it, and I am not sure if it was the owner or the employee but babeeeee this man went completely out of his way and brought me my correct fried rice order with a mango salad on the house! to my house ! and I don t even live that close to the restaurant!!! My roommate and I had no cash on us which was unfortunate because we would have 1000% tipped him BIG and it made it even better because the food was to DIE for. This was my first time ordering from the restaurant and honestly even the customer service over the phone was 100/10 . I wish I remembered this man name but he is so amazing and I will be back with my TIP and some friends lol and I highly recommend the pad sew with fish. They definitely gained a loyal customer.
My daughter is obsessed with the Pad See Ew! Their menu and food in general are awesome. I liked everything so far! I find it cheaper compared to other Thai resto with complete Thai food line up. Best value. I went at the store couple of times and have always come back, I even order online. I highly recommend!
Excellent fresh made food. Its worth the wait for quality made Thai cusine.
All their menu items are very flavourful. We ordered pork satay skewers, massaman beef curry, chicken green curry, sisaket pad thai, spring rolls, spicy Thai rice topped with fried egg. Everyone enjoyed the food. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
I recently went to the Scarborough Bluffs area and dont know what to have for lunch. As usual, I searched online and the first restaurant to show up on the list is the SISAKET Thai Kitchen. Therefore, I decided to give this restaurant a try. TOM KHA (COCONUT SOUP): The soup is silky smooth and full of coconut flavor. The ingredients are fresh and it is freshly cooked. This is one of the most refined TOM KHA I had tried in Toronto. THAI ICED TEA: Their Thai iced tea is not as sweet as other Thai restaurants, which is a good thing. I can taste the natural tea flavor and rich cream taste (not milk). The owner told me they use 10% cream for their Thai iced tea. In my personal opinion, this is the best Thai iced tea I have tried in Toronto. PAD MEE SEE CHOM PO (PINK NOODLES): This is my first time trying this dish and I am amazed. I can tell the chef put a lot of time and effort into this simple dish. The pink noodles are a little bit sour, which increases appetite. The crispy pork is very crispy and flavourful. The stir-fried egg does not taste like ordinary fried egg and the chef told me this is the Thai style fried egg. This is a must-try item. MANGO & COCONUT STICKY RICE: The mango is fresh and sweet. The sticky rice is not too sweet but a little bit hard. I also suggested the chef use their original way to serve this dessert dish instead (referring to the previous online photo). As placing the mango sticky rice on a plate instead of inside a bow will make the presentation look much better and easier to share among people. The chef did listen to my opinion and served the mango sticky rice using a plate the next night I visited this restaurant. I gave this restaurant one more star because the chef values customer opinion. Out of the dozens of Thai restaurants I previously tried before, this is the only Thai restaurant both their dishes look and taste great. As many high-end Thai restaurants have great presentation but the taste is only average at most. Also, this is one of the most welcoming experience restaurant I have dine in the whole GTA. The couple who operates this restaurant are super friendly. I like this restaurant so much, I actually invited my family to have dinner at this place the next night. Highly recommended.
Loved both the food and the service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very fresh, flavourful and tasty. I had matcha green tea and that was so refreshing. Would definitely recommend!
Came in on a rainy night and had an absolutely fantastic meal, highly recommended
- Food was overly salty. - Noodles for the pad see ew had a nice bite. - Portions were a bit small. Food : 3/5
Friday nights here are buzzing with takeout orders, serving delicious food with friendly service. A perfect choice for a delightful evening!
My daughter and I went there for lunch and had a nice appetizer platter which was perfect and two dishes. The flavors were awesome and the food delicious. The service was quick and so courteous. Would highly recommend this restaurant!! Just keep in mind it is small. Thank you
The restaurant itself if nice but the food was really disappointing. We ordered the pineapple fried rice which was pretty good. We had also ordered pad Thai which was way too sweet and as soon as the dish was placed in front of us, we noticed the colour was darker which makes me believe that molasses was used instead tamarind sauce. The molasses overpowered every other flavour in the dish which made me feel a little sick. I was most excited for the Thai chilli bbq pork belly but when it arrived the pork was buried in a lot gailan, Thai chilli and sauce. There was barely any pork belly. There are other places in the area the server a lot better and authentic Thai food
I ordered lunch from here via Uber eats and will not be doing so again. My order had tinfoil in it somehow. Disgusting.
Amazing authentic Thai food experience. Great customer service. Very tasty food and good portions. Prices were also reasonable. Would highly recommend and would definitely be back when in the area. Food
Wow
This was not good value for money - unfortunately this delivered meal was disappointing. I ordered a wok stir-fry and it was 90% rice and 10 %stir fry. Very little meat and almost no veg to speak of. They do charge extra for extra meat so we ordered double meat for the Pad Thai again there was hardly any meat in the dish it was 90 to 95% noodles! It was expensive to eat considering we basically got seasoned rice and seasoned noodles! We used to eat Thai frequently and are used to the dishes being one pot meals - lots of meat and veggies in the dishes. Also both meals were very sweet too sweet compared to other Thai food we have had. I do not think I would order from here again.
Sisaket Thai Kitchen has an amazing menu with authentic Thai dishes. Their Tom Yum soup is a must-try, its incredibly flavorful and packed with fresh ingredients. The service is good and the staff is friendly.
My first visit to this Thai restaurant and definitely wont be my last. I normally go to another local Thai restaurant, but decided to try a new one. I came here tonight (Friday) to dine in with my wife and two toddlers. Right away, they offered booster chairs and wiped them down for me. I was greeted with a warm friendly smile. The staff were very accommodating and most importantly, the food was amazing. There is metered street parking outside the restaurant, or just a few steps away you can park on the street by the nearby church for free. Kid-friendliness: Toddler chairs available
Excellent ethnic Thai food
Ive had a lot of Thai, have some favourite spots downtown, and some great options east end, but Sisaket is right up there with the best Thai spots Ive been to in the city. Food tastes fresh, feels scratch made, and flavours are interesting and nuanced. I highly recommend this place, it is very much Toronto style Thai food but just a little bit better than everywhere else I know. So good.
A friendly little place tucked away in Torontos south east. The shop may be understated, but the food was really good. I had the green curry and a spring roll. A good level of spice in the curry with lots of flavour. The spring roll was very tasty too. (Should have got the order of 3!) Well be back!
OMG amazing food!!! Wonderful and friendly staff.
Very good and authentic Thai food. Service is also very good. Will definitely come back and recommend. Love this restaurant.
Absolutely incredible Thai food. We talk a lot about other Thai restaurants in Toronto but Sisaket Thai is the best of the lot. The place is so good, the folks here are so kind and the food is so special. I have travelled around Thailand quite a bit and this is my fav spot in the GTA for Thai food!
Ordered the Tom Yum soup, Thai Laab Minced Pork salad, Laos Style Papaya salad, and Pad Thai. Everything was very good. The chef and workers are clearly passionate about the food they serve. The chef came out to chat with my wife and I and made us a special spicy sauce/dip that is not on the menu after I mentioned I was looking for a specific type of eggplant dip. She even offered to try and make the specific dip I was looking for if I called ahead of time and requested it. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
Absolutely excellent, will come back, nice plating presentation too. Ordered the PAD PRIK KHING CURRY (c1) and pad woon sen. Highly recommended. Food
Drove by the place so many times....finally stopped...so glad we did. Absolutely delicious food. Best Thai food in Scarborough!
5 stars all around. Exquisite flavours and delectable dishes! Gorgeous presentation as well. You can tell the chef/owners take immense pride in providing an all around amazing culinary experience way above most other run of the mill Thai restaurants...but at very reasonable and affordable prices. Service was amazing and super attentive despite how busy they were. Love how dishes can be customized and adaptable for gluten free diets. Lots of option for vegetarians. The mushroom salad was to die for. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie and gluten free options too which is amazing
Great food and exceptional service. The staff and owner were so friendly and happy to serve us! There were many great tasting vegetarian options and it was reasonably priced. Would recommend!
Best Thai food I ve had so far! The Khao soi is sooo delicious! The Noodles and chicken cutlet were cooked to perfection and the base was so flavourful and not overly spicy. Highly recommend! Also- Pad Gra Pao was just as good! Right amount of spice and blends well with the crispy egg and the rice (which is also cooked perfectly!). I also appreciate the generous portions at an affordable price. Great customer service as well. Overall, an amazing hidden gem and perfect for our community!
We had lunch here today. Very tasty food. Very accommodating staff! Will visit again to try other dishes !
Came in looking for a soup adventure and it did not disappoint. Staff was great with heat recommendations (Im on the wimpy side) and the Tom Kha with noodles and chicken was delicious! Food
We came here for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. We ordered from the lunch special which was very reasonably priced for the amount of food youre getting. We had the pad thai and pad see ew. For an additional side of tom yum soup and fresh rolls, it was only $3.50 and $5.50 respectively. We also upgraded for Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee. Everything was so yummy. Well definitely be going back!
I have visited here several times. Delicious and spicy! Wow! I love the extreme spicy salad one. Excellent services as well. Highly recommended
Vegetarian options: Lots of big and healthy/fresh vegetables in every dish. Kid-friendliness: Very relaxed and space to sit and enjoy. Staff are super patient and kind. Food : 5/5 |
Charming spot! Food was declicious and not too expenstive. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic staff. We look forward to returning!
Plates with good balance flavor Tasty and well-balanced dishes. Excellent service. Good quality and prices. I recommend the tea drinks. Parking: On the street.
The food here is by far some of the most delicious that I have had anywhere. I tend to try and make small orders, but unfortunately these guys have way too many dishes that I cant seem to place an order without including. I am obsessed with the thai tea and the mango sticky rice (automatic include on every order). Every single main dish that I have ordered has been above and beyond my expectations. What puts this place over the top in my opinion is the customer service. The gentleman who is always at the front desk is a great guy who always takes care of his customers. We recently had a bit of a hiccup ordering through Uber (the apps fault, not the restaurant) and we called in and he was a great help getting us sorted with our order. Beyond that, he is extremely friendly and offers great recommendations for dishes to try. Easily one of my top restaurants in the city.
Nice little Thai place on Kingston. Me and my friend went there on a Sunday night and it was empty. We ordered the Tom Yum soup and Pineapple Fried Rice. The Tom Yum soup was absolutely delicious and had a generous amount of chicken in it. Only criticism was it couldve been spicier, but they had homemade chili oil on the table anyway, so that fixed the problem. The Pineapple Fried Rice was okay. It had a mild sweet and spice taste, but honestly, it didnt really stand out with any flavour. Overall portions werent too bad for the price and its an affordable place to begin with. Overall, wouldnt mind eating here again, but wouldnt recommend this place as a standout Thai place, especially with the other Thai places nearby. Parking: Green P Street parking right in front of the restaurant. Only $2 per hour
Ordered the Tom Yum fried rice was sooo good. Their chili oil is so good and you can taste the roasted garlic flavour way more authentic flavours and better quality of food than other Thai restaurants in the area
The north eastern style papaya salad was a great pairing with shrimp pad thai for my lunch. Staff were very friendly. Thank you
Ordered dinner from my cellphone from their website to be delivered as it was raining out the other night and we were a bit exhausted after work. After clicking on the dish you want, you scroll down and down and down... and see tons of optional add-ons (extra items such as condiments, etc.) for extra fees. Dishes came in environmentally-friendy brown disposible containers; however, portions were average. We specified spicy for the Pad Thai but it was much too spicy and we struggled to eat it and gave up. We put hot sauce on our food every day so the chef went a little mad with the hot peppers. Overall the restaurant was ok. We will stick with Jatujak as it is better value for money.
Sisaket Thai Food is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Thai culinary adventure. The Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice alone are reason enough to make this restaurant a regular haunt. Immerse yourself in the vibrant flavors of Thailand and let Sisaket Thai Food be your passport to a culinary journey like no other
Its probably the best, most flavourful Thai place in the area . Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Food : 5/5 |
I ordered catering from Sisaket for a holiday dinner party for 15-20 people yesterday and needless to say we were blown away with the restaurant s generosity, thoughtfulness, and willingness to work within our budget. The food was amazing, so much so that I didn t have time to take pictures because we all just started eating! Highly recommend!
Brilliant local gem.
Ordered takeout from this spot on the weekend. Overall - the food itself is quite tasty although portion sizes are quite small based on what you re spending. We tried a variety of dishes and most were quite good (red curry & the khao soi is great). Service was otherwise good as well when picking up. No real knocks on this place, I just think there are comparable restos with better value for $ in the area.
Was craving Thai so decided to check this spot out and it did not disappoint. Food is amazing and authentic! Small joint and it was crowded but food didn t take too long to arrive. Defo worth going back to!!
Great food and reasonable prices, staff was also very nice and open to explaining what dishes were like
Food was very good and the service was personal and thoughtful even as they were very busy.
Awesome food and service with a smile !
Got the pad Thai with extra spicy peanut sauce. The taste was great, just one downside was that the noodles got clumped together when it was a bit cooled down by the time I opened it for lunch after it was delivered. Id suggest using a wider container instead of a narrower tall container so its easier for me to manage it if that happens. Overall I enjoyed the flavors on offer.
Wow! We just finished a delicious meal from SISAKET. Best Thai food! They were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions. So many options for gluten allergies and dairy allergies. It was so fresh! Great job on limiting the plastic in the to-go boxes as well. We look forward to ordering again soon.
Great eats, great people, good prices. Has a small dining area, limited seating so plan accordingly.
