Authentic Vietnamese Family Restaurant
The food was delicious and you get quite a lot for what you order They have this amazing home made peanut sauce. Our server Johnathan was amazing he was the sweetest and made sure we were taken care of! Thank you guy us and can’t wait to come back
The waiter is very sweet,The noodle soup looks very clear. Not too much flavor. In the photo, we added lemon,That's why it looks a little mixed up. Noodles are a little wider than what I have eaten in another house, and they are not so elastic. But this note posted by him at the front desk makes me feel very unreasonable, no split bills at weekend? they can't refuse to provide us with the right to divide the order because of the busy weekend.
April 13, 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had lunch at Pho Vietnam on Midland & Finch and enjoyed authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the service was quick. I tried a variety of dishes, including spring rolls and phở, and everything was delicious. The prices were also reasonable, making it a great spot for a meal. I would definitely return for another visit!
A cute little spot in St Catharine, a-short drive from Niagara on the lake, this place was the perfect find! Affordable, great friendly , service and delicious food. I recommend the winter mango roll appetizer. We were visiting from NY and loved it . I will def be back when I’m in town.
Located in the far corner of the Skycity Shopping Centre on Midland, this restaurant boasts a clean and modern decor, with high ceilings that create a spacious atmosphere. The menu offers standard Vietnamese fare, but the food was somewhat disappointing. The Chả lụa (Vietnamese sausage) lacked flavor and appeared to be a leftover from previous days. The Pho was average, nothing exceptional. Our server seemed uninterested and grumpy, but the service was prompt. We were surprised to find a 10% service charge/tip automatically added to our bill, which we didn't notice mentioned on the menu or in the restaurant (may be they did but we missed it). We dislike this practice and were not informed about it when we paid at the cashier.
Pork shop vermicelli is really good. Meat is fresh and tender. Like that they offer different bowl sizes to cater different customers. Soup broth is very delicious.
Large Vietnamese restaurant located at the Finch and Midland plaza. Restaurant has good decor and seating is spacious. They offer lots of Vietnamese dishes and noodles, which taste great at reasonable prices, and served in good portions. Menu also is written in English, Vietnamese and Chinese. I would recommend visiting if you're in the area. They include 10% service charge calculated on the pre-tax amount, which is the correct way 👍🏻
Eating Pho has been on my eat list for a long time now and we finally made it to this gem of a restaurant. Loved every dish we ordered. The staff was very polite and friendly. Definitely coming back here more often!
Food was good, not great. Appetizers could use more flavoring, both the spring roll and fried octopus. Soup was very tasty as well as the fried rice. Would try again next time.
Food was great, place is really nice, but server is very grumpy and lacks customer service.
Are they changed the owner or cook, the leaf with beef is so salty, before is not
Food is average, not like amazing, just like normal pho. However, the service is not satisfying. Too hot inside, no water serving while customers needed. U have to call them for times if u want to have water. They also have minimum spending here, like $10 per person, which is i dont understand. Tips are mandatory collected for the bill without asking. its included in the bill. One more thing is no split bill during the weekend. Maybe they are busy, thats why they dont provide this service, not affect me, but still. Randomly go to this place for lunch, not the first went here, but it should be the last time.
The food is great, we normally get the house pho. The only advice I would suggest is to give customer small plates when serving appetizers. Also more napkins, they only give one napkin per person and we had to eat on our napkin because they didnt give us plates.
Great food, great service. Pho tasted wonderful. Vegetarian options: good veg noodles too Food : 5/5 |
Nice and quiet, underrated place for sure
Great atmosphere, great value, and great service. The pho tasted wonderful.
This is pathetic and unacceptable. Ordered take out and one of the items were P1 Pho Dac Biet. The items came straight out of take out bag untouched. Opened the soup to see ONE beef ball. ONE! Food : 1/5
I ve been coming to this restaurant for years now. That said, I enjoy the food, but the service could be a little bit better as sometimes it seems like they don t want to be there and that I m inconveniencing them every time I ask for something simple like a glass of water or even napkins. Also, I ve been continuously inconvenienced by their DECEITFUL hours of operation on the Google website. Since December, I ve made multiple attempts to come during open hours but have found that the restaurant is actually closed. Not good. Please update your open hours! I come to this specific restaurant for their pho and spring rolls. Writing this review as I m leaving the restaurants parking lot after being lied to by their open hours..
We ate in. The pho was really good. Note this place doesnt serve alcohol.
The beef pho was great and had tons of flavour, great portion and if requested some ingredients can be taken out of some dishes!
Ordered pork chop rice, chicken rice and pho noodles for lunch. Food portion is relatively small comparing with other Vietnamese restaurants. Not very full after eating. Price is not cheap at all. Im not going back again.
Food not worth the price ordered a basic p1 in large barely anything in the soup i had meatball even cut in half. Barely anyone inside another customer asked they can sit at another table they were NO u can sit here. I would have walked away. Find somewhr else to eat.
Young lady and man service are well. Older woman not so much. Pho comes on 3 sizes: sm, md, lg. I got a Large house pho and wonder how small is the small or medium. First page on menu states due to recent surge in price.... 10% tips applied to each person, min. $10 order per person.... Pho broth usual prepared for over half a day. Their broth are like chicken powder and really bland. The meatballs are still cold in the core. Food was awful. I really wonder how they survive with so many good restaurants around.
Food was tasty, menu is decent. Unfortunately, for a family restaurant with high chairs they sure don t have changing tables
Good price, fresh food, clean place and a lots of parking
Ben, thank you for the excellent customer service. Food was fresh and tasty!!! Will definitely comeback! Beef verm was $16.99 ish / each.
We got the around 9PM on a Saturday. First impression, the waiter that lead us to our table looked like he didnt want to be there. The restaurant is in a very busy plaza so kinda surprised it wasnt busy. We placed our orders noticing on the first page there is a minimum charge per person which Ive not seen for a very long time. I can understand why in some case as a way to detour table squatters. We place orders for spring roll appetizer, a rice dish, a bun thit nuong (cold rice noodle salad of sort), and 2 pho. We first get served our spring roll then the rice and bun thit nuong comes. Now, Ive been to my far share of pho restaurants and normally the pho comes first to the table after the apps as thats kinda ready made toss on some meat and serve kinda dish. But no we waited for a good 20 mins for it. We notice another table that happened to be seated long before we got to the restaurant just being serves their pho. I waved down the not so happy waiter to ask for some napkins (which we had none at the table when we got there nor was it given when we got our spring rolls). I then asked politely to see if the rest of our order was ready. 5 more mins of waiting later the pho was finally served. At that point I believe they forgot the order. I technically would give 1 star due to the exchange of interaction with the wait staff or in this case the lack of. But the food was Ok. Not the Asian OK like its good to very good or the variation of... But this was simply OK, Im hungry and the food portion was good and editable kinda way. Ive had better bun thit nuong, pho, spring rolls and service. The one good thing that came from this, kid enjoyed their over priced frozen strawberry and condense milk shake.
Staff is unprofessional and racist, the two waitresses with bad breath kept staring at my table and made inappropriate remarks about my fiancée and I not knowing we could understand their language. The restaurant is disgusting, food and garbage all overthe floor, the bathroom smelt horrible. Save your money you can get better service at a McDonald
Great local spot for a bowl of pho. Nothing fancy with this spot. Just authentic food.
The food seems to get better here every year. We ve been patrons since pre pandemic. Ordered the mango salad, pad Thai noodles and some omelette. The mango had a spice I think cinnamon. That was new for me. Delicious. Ripe dark yellow mangoes were used. Dressing was a bit sweet but ok. The noodles were also great. The omelettes were ok. More fun than anything because you have to wrap the omelette segments in an iceberg lettuce leaf. Must try
We generally order the pork chop with vermicelli and the deep fried crab. The crab is a bit pricey, but its so delicious. Overall, portions are fair for the price you pay and everything tastes great.
Food is average, the service is suprisingly bad. Im not sure if people working here knows how to smile or greet the customer.
Its really good. Prices are good
We found an eyelash in our take out and when we ordered it they slapped on a 10% service charge? If you re looking for authentic pho, you won t find it here. We ordered a Dac biet and the broth had a noticeable layer of oil on top. The broth was also very pale making for a lighter taste than what pho is supposed to be. Overall, I would give this place a 5/10 as it is just decent with not much of any hype.
Good food alright prices Just take note of the 10% service charge Vegetarian options: A bunch of vegetarian options, got an entire page on the menu
Great tasting bahn mi sandwiches. Filled with a lot of meat and toppings. The bread is soft and doesn t get soggy. A bit small for the price however. One sandwich is $10 and is really only a snack.
It was alright. The pho dat biet had a very clear soup but lacked flavour. The bun bo hue was on the sweeter side and decent, not as good as some other restaurants Ive tried. Service is fast and atmosphere is bright and clean. They tack on a 10% mandatory service charge which, if you dont pay attention, you end up double tipping and you need to tap around the machine to avoid tipping again. I personally find this scummy and predatory.
Always quick and friendly service. My favourite spot for pho!
I visit Pho Vietnamese with my mother every few weeks. We return each time because of the excellent food and great service.
Overall a great environment to enjoy Vietnamese food. Unfortunately the pho broth lacked depth and some flavour, but it was still good We ordered: - P1 Special Pho (3/5) - Fried Spring rolls (4/5) - Bánh Xèo Vietnamese pizza (3/5)
Good Vietnamese food. Fresh ingredients, and the service is good. I think the prices here include tip, when I went to pay the cashier skipped the part where you choose the tip amount. She said it was included.
It s pretty decent. Service is good and prices are fair. The portion sizes are ok. The food is a solid B. Not the best pho I ve had but it s good.
Mission of looking for delicious G i Cu n. I like Goi Cuon here, because they have thin vermicelli (reduce the amount will be perfect), pork (I preferred fattier pork belly, but their pork was good), Shrimps, garlic chives (must have), mint, lettuce, bean spriut. Last but not least, yummy dipping sauce. They served mixed Hoisin Sauce. I asked for extra dipping fish sauce (recommended). Both sauces were deli!!!! Mind you. There is 10% service charge added to the bill.
Clean place and food was good. Went on a weekday during the quiet mid-aft. It is family run and has a good family vibe.
Great Service, amazing food. Loved the tea and service. Got the pineapple slush it was soo delicious. I would recommend this place
Ordered the Special Beef Noodles and the Vermicelli with Roast Pork and Spring Roll. Food was fast but the taste is average, small portion. Prices was $35 for two.
Love the food & atmosphere!
Our go to place for VN food.
Went on a Monday night. the waitress was very rude when we asked to sit at a different table even though the place was almost empty. There is also a mandatory 10% service charge and a $10 minimum order per person. We ended up going to another place in the next plaza over (Vietnam noodle star) and the service was much nicer and the prices were better too.
First time tried Vietnamese cuisine - Pho..really recommended ..
Its my first time trying this Pho place out and the food was alright. We ordered the pho with beef brisket, tendon and noodles and also vermicelli with grilled beef wrapped in mint leaves and a shrimp paste covered sugar cane stick. The beef noodle broth was ok and they provided a tiny plate of bean sprouts and a sprig of Thai basil leaves. However, there was only 3 bits of tendon, the beef brisket was sliced paper thin and it felt as if I was drinking more soup. Also I found a small piece of tripe floating in my broth. The vermicelli with grilled beef dish was ok but the only down side was the shrimp wrapped around a stick of sugar cane had no flavour and looked like it was just flour mixed with orange colouring. Also they slapped on a 10% service charge which was a bit sad as it referred in the menu that this was due to the hike in food prices. But honestly, I am willing to pay the 10% charge and tips only if the food was good but unfortunately it wasnt that great and Ive had gone to alot of pho places recently.
Nice bright, airy setting, delicious Beef Pho Noodle Soup, efficient fast service, nice firm noodle with rare beef, fragrant clear broth, reasonably priced extensive menu.
Its ok. Service meh.. dont expect much either. Portion is ok. Not bad. Not great...
First time trying this restaurant and overall pretty good. Tucked away at the very back corner of sky city plaza. Service was good. Ordered summer rolls in large size (8 pieces) and it was super tasty and the peanut sauce was good. We also got pho noodles and it comes in 3 sizes, small medium large. I think medium is definitely average size. Broth was good but the flavour could definitely be stronger. You can also choose between thin or thick noodles. 10% tip is also already added to the bill.
Must have say one of the worst experience dine-in Ive ever get. The food is okay, 7/10 but service is very terrible. We came in an order 2 appetizer and 4 main dish. Wait for a good 20 mins before the main dish arrive before appetizer and even with that, they are still missing stuff. Not that Ive never been to a Vietnamese restaurant, but I do understand a rule that appetizer is suppose to come first before the main. Most of the staff are just ignoring you. Im a Vietnamese myself and I usually speak Vietnamese when going to a Vietnamese restaurant but there is a lady with glasses there (not the one behind the cash counter) who never come to you when request for something and she understand and speak Vietnamese fluently but always pretending like she cant speak like whats the point? They constantly changing the staff member and still cant figure out a way to do a good service.
Food is okay but not authentic. I give 1 star straight because the attitude of a female staff member is very brash, arrogant, and somewhat yells at customers. The tip is automatically calculated, very unreasonable and the service quality is bad. My friends also know that there are many dramas about employee exploitation at this restaurant chain. I still dont understand why the it is still not heavily fined.
Great pho, clean and excellent service
Good food and I love the mango shrimp salad . The beef noodle soup base is tasty. I also enjoy the deep fried soft shell crabs Food
I ordered the special beef rice noodles : the soup base has a rich meat flavor and the slight fragrance of spices will not cover the flavor of beef. Different from the another store. The beef is juicy, and the fresh rice noodles are also very good. Then I ordered a spring roll : the stuffing of the spring roll was not very special, but there was shredded taro, my favorite is the garlic juice dipped in the spring roll, sweet and sour, with the crispy spring roll, delicious
Highly recommended by school classmate May Delicious Vietnamese noodles
This place used to be good, but now its absolutely terrible. They are so stingy with their meatballs - they only give a HALF a meatball if you pick the first Pho option (P1), not even ONE. When asked if could have more meatballs, they said it costs $5 extra. What?? To add on, the soup was so bland, it didnt even taste like pho anymore. I think this visit was the worst pho Ive ever tasted in Toronto before. Waitresses also look like they hate their life and ignore you when you call them. Highly advise against coming here if you want authentic pho and good service.
Satay broth has no taste
Pretty decent pho but doesnt open until very late. usually not too packed, so its a good place to get some quick eats
Extremely terrible customer service. The lady server with glasses just threw the plate on table and walked away while serving our food. Very arrogant behaviour, never seen such kind of customer service anywhere. The food was good though but zero customer service ethics. Would never recommend.
So tasty, fresh, and fast service. I recommend the bun bo hue & the bahn mi! Bun bo hue broth and noodles were the highlight, while the bahn mi was just overall really good the pork one especially! Will come back again.
Great place for authentic Vietnamese food! Their banh mi and bun bo hue was amazing! I ordered the bbq ribs - and it was quite nice too. Keep in mind they put in a 10% tip for themselves; thought it was lowkey not cool especially for people who miss it on the receipt and tip again
I came to this restaurant with my family. Unfortunately the service is beyond terrible. My family members had gluten allergies and we asked about what type of wrapper they use for the spring roll and the server couldn t tell us. Then we asked for scissors to cut the Banh xeo and the server seemed really annoyed. The server continued to ignore our table and we felt awkward asking for more water. I love Vietnamese food but I won t be coming back here. Be prepared to bring your own napkins if you plan to visit. Dietary restrictions: The server s had little knowledge about their menu and I feel that they were insensitive to food allergies
Above average Vietnamese restaurant in a sea of restaurants. They are not exactly 5 stars, but they are closer to 5 than 4. Good food variety and all authentic options, and everything tasted good to very good. Service was ok and there is a mandatory 10% dine in service charge.
Authentic Vietnamese beef noodles
Great food. Prices are about average
I don t normally leave reviews but this one deserved it. I asked the waitress to upgrade my rice to a fried rice. She said it s an additional $3 charge although the menu clearly states that any changes is an additional $2. When I received my order, I asked if this was fried rice and she said yes. It looked no different that any of my friends orders and definitely didn t look like fried rice. I was confused because I asked her what the additional $3 was for? She said that they fried the rice in a pan. She even got another individual, maybe a manager, to try and defend that the rice is different because they fried it in a pan? For an additional $3 to toss white rice and fry it in a pan?! Poor demeanour all around and they proceeded to degrade me by asking my friend to taste both orders to taste the difference to which my friend said they still take the exact same. Their fried rice is literally just tossed in a pan and they ll charge you extra for it. Be careful when you order here. I just laughed it off and said they need to change their menu. Images provided was the fried rice given to me versus the fried rice I was expecting. My mind is still trying to fathom this information.
Guys, always check your bill !!! I literally marked a side order for the meat ball soup, and it showed $4.50 for one order. And it came , the soup taste so salty so we couldnt finish and needed it to be pack for to go mm..anyways, the bill shown $12.99??!! And one of the lady told me that someone has explained to me blah blah blah ..hello ? Noone ever explained to me about the meat ball soup at all , okay ? And she said sorry theres no such soup cost $5 .... After she talk to a manager or whatever , dhe came back and saying hes gonna pay for you. Cover your bill.... It sounds like I am the one who made this mistake, and they are doing a huge favor for ! By the way , they added 10% tips on top of the bill automatically So , guys, just check your bill before you pay , and ask them not to bring you a $12.99 side order meat ball soup(if you want one )
Came here when it first opened a few years ago but was never top of mind when I crave pho. Wanted to give it a try again and everything was okay - very average I don t know how to describe this but pho is usually VERY comforting for me (my top comfort foods of all time) but the Pho Dac Biet didn t really give me that feeling
How can I not give 5 stars for this food.
Pretty standard Vietnamese food experience, its comfortable, prices arent bad, pretty consistent.
Pho was mediocre and it was a bit pricy for pho. The soft shell crab was pretty good. Service was not very good. It seems like they dont understand my question.
Good banh mi, will come for the pho next time
Quite nice. Very spacious.
Pretty decent food, we tried a pho, vegetarian spring roll, and a banh mi. Service was good, place is very clean. No complaints. Worth checking out.
With the exception of the 2 younger servers, we had a VERY BAD experience here. The restaurant owner (an older Vietnamese lady) was EXTREMELY rude to us. We were not given any tea or water during the meal. Only After Ordering, were we rudely told there were no more Fresh Noodles but we were served dried noodles. Asking a younger female server about the difference, the older Vietnamese lady was yelling at the younger server in Vietnamese (hoping we can not understand her) to leave us alone. Then the older lady THREW a plate of Dried vs Fresh Noodles at us. It was late and we were VERY hungry so we decided to accept the meal and give them the benefit of the doubt. When my Large Bowl arrived, the serving was Exactly the same as the other Medium Bowl we ordered. The Broth taste was MEDIOCRE at best. We were also served alot slower than the other tables. We finally received our water 5 Minutes AFTER our bowls arrived and After I asked the younger male server who was apologetic. The older female Owner made us felt DISCRIMINATED, Rudely interrupted, underserved our portions, and deliberately talked behind our backs in a Foreign Language. Be CAREFUL on your bill. There is a SERVICE CHARGE. WORST Pho Experience in memory.
Ive been here a few times. The special beef pho and fried spring rolls are very delicious. Hot and fresh food, quick service, clean. Their hu tieu my tho is just okay in my opinion, there werent that many toppings (like 1 shrimp 2 slices of fish cake, 2 leaves of bok choy and 2 fish balls) and it comes with a fried shrimp pancake. Nothing spectacular. I keep coming back for their pho!
Simple food done the right way.
Soup noodles are average, lemon is okay
First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite gloomy, and our server seemed as though she might burst into tears at any moment. Additionally, we found the food portion sizes to be much smaller compared to other places weve been to. As for the taste, it was just okay, not particularly great. Considering our experience, I must say that I am not planning to go back to this place.
I been there so many time, food quality is way above most of the Vietnam restaurant.
Best fresh noodles in town!
Totally awesome pho perfectly served the sweet basil was so fresh and the rare steak was perfect the noodles fresh or dried both were perfect
The decoration is good, but the service attitude is very poor. There was a short and fat waitress who impressed me the most. I asked her to add mint to it, which caused black heads and black faces. The soup base seemed to be either soup stock or water. The final tip was compulsory. I added that I won t go there a second time! Very bad experience!
A normal Vietnamese restaurant. The place is comfortable but food is just regular. Nothing special. Price is reasonable and if you are looking to have some regular Vietnamese food, you can try this place
Good food Decent service Good price Tip already included in bill Food : 5/5 |
Food is just ok. Portion is smaller compare to other places.
Yum!
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. The staff were chatting loudly and laughing. We asked for 4 cups of iced water three times, but they only gave us 2 cups. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Food came in a good portion and made me full. The taste was overall good and atmosphere was okay. Just wished servers were more attentive, only got a glass of tea once when I was first seated then never came back for refills. When I was finished, I went up to them to pay the bill. At first, I wanted to pay by cash but then the server said we don t want that, everything is included in the bill . Then I said this is my method of payment. The server still refused my payment. I paid by card in the end, but she didn t have to be rude about my cash payment. If she didn t want it, at least decline politely. It kinda killed my mood
Go-to pho place thats nearby. It can get busy but it never gets too crowded to the point where the wait is excessively long. The broth is flavourful and hearty. Theres fresh vs dry noodle option. Price is very reasonable. Service is quick. Ample parking, as its near the end of the plaza where there arent as many cars.
Having been a loyal customer since 2014, it pains me to see the drastic decline in the quality of food at this establishment. The soup for the pho number P7 was disappointingly bland, and the medium size serving had a mere four pieces of rare beef. This is a far cry from the delicious offerings I had grown accustomed to over the years. Its unfortunate, but I wont be returning. On a side note, the upcoming opening of Pho Anh Vuh in the neighboring plaza offers some hope for a better dining experience in the future. Not sure if its legal but they also enforce a service charge of 10%
Pho broth had no flavour and the noodles were soggy and bloated. The server/cashier was also super rude and unfriendly throughout all encounters. I don t recommend this place.
The food is so mediocre, theres nothing special about it. The servers ignored me and my group, completely walking past us. As we finished ordering, our server started off with an attitude, i did not feel welcomed AT ALL. Then, the exact same server did not pay attention to where she was waving her pen and legit scratched my arm with the pen and left ink on me Absolutely do not recommend.
Chicken wings are a must get
I thought it was great, the spring rolls are made fresh with taro. You can also get fresh noodles in the pho, I personally like it a lot
Reliable pho for an affordable price
Tasty but so thirsty afterwards (MSG?) -pho P1 - would reorder -bun bo hue - would not reorder -jasmine tea - is very fragrant Random: I really like their arrangement of figurines/statues
Delicious food at reasonable prices! No gimmicks just genuine good Vietnamese food.
Came here with family group of 9. I ordered P23 chicken noodle soup.. The service was SUPER SLOW... not only that, the Soup was the WORST pho soup I have ever tasted... 6 chunks of chicken with cartlidge and bone.. horrible experience... stay away unless you enjor awful pho... would not recommend... very unacomidating staff..
Nice pho place
Ordered the beef ball and beef brisket soup noodle. Tastes okay, portion was okay, but when it came time to pay I was charged a 10% service charge which I would have missed if I didnt look. Normally I pay more than that in tips, but I did not like they added this without being clear about it from the beginning. I ended up giving a little more than the prescribed 10 percent, but it just doesnt feel good to have a mandatory tip.
Portions are great. Always come here for the fresh noodle option for pho! The vermicelli spring roll is my favourite as well. Staff are great here! Food : 5/5
Pretty good restaurant good for a night out! The spring rolls are next level delicious, the entire party enjoyed them for our night out!
Good food but 3 stars as they charge 10% dine in fee which is pathetic. I will probably not go back until they remove this. 10% dine in plus 15% tip=Rip-off, your better to go elsewhere.
First time here for a quick light bite. Had their house special pho, overall it was a nice experience. The toppings were tasty and cooked just right along with a hot tasty broth. So a 3plus for this bowl of noodles. I will be back tomorrow to try some other things for lunch. Watch for my comments tomorrow!
From eating there in 2016 to now, these three dishes must be ordered every time I go there. Although I have been doing take out during the epidemic. But the taste is really not as good as the ones in the store! ! ! Prices have been rising, but the portions are still sufficient. The lady boss is very nice, you must try her recommendations! !
Great food and good price
Very good place for viet cuisine. Their bun bo hue is flavourful and has a lot of ingredients (pork hock, pork blood, sausage, pork slice). No place can compare. Been coming here sporadically for years and the quality has been super consistent.
Pad Thai was great, the pho seemed very uninspired and cheap. Cleanliness of the restaurant was very good. Overall no complaints but nothing to write home about.
As you can see there is only bean sprouts at hidden at the back is one piece of lime. No Thai basil leaves ... this was 12 in the AFTERNOON!!!. The waitress said they are sold out. Cmon you are a Vietnamese Pho noodle restaurant ... its like saying to KFC we ran out of the 12 herbs and spices. The pork chop on rice had so little rice and not grass lemon marinate pork chop. I hope they read this and change I will not return to this restaurant again.
Its a regular for me. I order at least twice a month
Over all the food quality is excellent. Services are great. The place are very clean. The missing star will earn if they can reduce or eliminate the air freshener smell, the floor cleaner smell and the special scents smell. When the customer walk in a restaurant, they would prefer a good food smell, in this case Pho. Also, the order is for a Medium and a Large bowl of Pho, it turns out the noodle in Medium is more then the large, so it is not worth for the upgrade. They should paid attention more. Keep up the good work.
Very good, the beauty service is very good
If i can give zero stars i would. Went here twice now to give them a chance. Slow, rude service, barely any meat on the pho. Ive gotten more the first time but it looked like scraps. Second time was almost non existent. On top of that theres a mandatory 10% tip for dine in. bad service and you gotta tip! Oh and watch them wear gloves, pick up stuff on the floor, clean tables and handle cash and not bother changing or sanitizing their gloves. Like bruh
Good food quality and service is good
This used to be our 2nd favorite Vietnamese restaurant. We went back there today after 2 years. We were shocked to see how the quantity has shrunk . They miniaturized their meals. We got our usual platter. But No basil leaves, no sprouts. Vietnamese meals are good portions and hearty & generous. But not the case here anymore sadly. Oh & the 10% service charge like wth??! Wont be coming back.
The serving speed is extremely slow, the taste is average, the price is high, and the portion is small. None of the store employees can speak Chinese, but the store name and menu are all in Chinese! ! !
Unfortunately, the pho soup broths are just salty. The palette is very dehydrated after the meal. there is no depth to the beef broth like other vietnamese restaurants anymore. the Vermicellis are still alright. but prices have gone up a lot due to supply costs. everything is $14.99 and onwards.
Last time I had Pho was February so, it was due time to have some again. So, dropped in for lunch on a Sunday when I was in Scarborough. Food was great. Will probably go again to scratch my Pho itch.
The pho soup is warm with raw beef. I only ate a little to leave. Rude service. No more next time. If I can give zero star, I would
Pros: Decent Pho at a good price Lots of parking available Cons: Tables bunched too close to each other Pho is one of my familys go tos so were always trying out new Pho places. Pho Vietnam is located at the back of a new plaza strip. Because of the size of the plaza, there is ample parking available no matter the time of day. Pho Vietnam has a good variety of items in their menu. When it comes to pho, theres about 15-20 different ones to choose from. I prefer to choose your own pho, but there are enough combinations to satisfy most patrons. The prices are pretty standard when it comes to Pho places. When we ordered our Pho, the server asked us whether or not we wanted thick or thin noodles. My wife said thin to which the server said go with the thick, its the better one. I pondered why they would have both if they believe one if superior to the other. Regardless, we took his recommendation and went with the thick one. The pho here is a pretty decent one. The portions are just about right with what youre paying. The thick noodle was actually a fresh noodle which I really liked as well. Good thing we listened to the server. The spring roll is what you would expect. This place wont wow you, but it gets the job done well. My only gripe is the seating arrangement. I know restaurants have to have as many seats as possible, but it felt really cramped to me. There was very little space to move around. I thought two tables were with patrons who were together, but they were actually 2 separate pairs. Thats how close the seats are at times. When you have kids, having that extra makes all the difference. Overall, Pho Vietnam is a solid place to get some Pho. It gets pretty busy during peak times but at least Parking is always available.
The house noodle is good but the hoinum chicken rice is very bad. The worst one I ever tasted in Toronto.
Out of all the plazas at midland and finch this is one of the better viet restaurants, but the prices have been raised significantly. The bun is at least $14.99 (although its tasty and a pretty big portion). I dont normally get the pho since its pretty standard, so I always get the bun with spring roll and grilled pork. The pork is a bit too salty sometimes but everything else is delicious. I also know that they close at 8 on weekdays, but when we arrived at 7, they said we had to order fast because they were closing soon. We saw a lot of people get turned away at 7:45 pm. If thats the case then they really close at 7-7:30, and they should put a last call sign somewhere
Very good Vietnamese pho restaurant, kids love it
Vietnamese noodles are really delicious, and you can also order snacks. The one star is missing because the tomato beef bread is too small. For the price of 15.99, you can only eat six thumb-sized pieces of beef and one Vietnamese bread (the kind that costs 1 yuan for six in the supermarket) ), hope it can be improved
Authentic food and drinks very good
P1 is the house special... Getva taste of Vietnamese soup
They raised their price I get that but to raise the price AND decrease portion size? I left still hungry sadly. I don t think I will return here . Unless I really have to.
We ordered a 3 bean drink with jelly, pho and the marinated fish. Pho and fish were delicious and so was the drink. They charge 10% service charge for dine in with us fine especially for these times. Service was great. Not too crowded. Nicely decorated. Highly recommend!
Food was good but too much msg. I was very thirsty afterwards. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Weve been coming here since 2014, and were so glad we were introduced to them! The family running this restaurant are so kind, generous, and considerate, especially with respect to our food restrictions and allergies. The softshell crab is my go-to dish, with steamed rice with grilled chicken, along with deep-fried spring rolls with pork and shrimp. Add this to your places to go list!
Great and fast service, the broth was IN-CRE-DI-BLE, the menu is easy to understand and there are a lot of options. The thin rice noodles are really good. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Vietnamese food living in Toronto.
My go to pho spot!
Pricy items. Ordered the tomato sauce beef noodles, too much noodles, too salty to taste anything. Had better experience compared to other pho restaurants.
Vietnam traditional pho , beef noodle is delicious with fare price.
Went there for lunch. Great atmosphere, pho was good, fried rice amazing will definitely eat there again.
pretty good pho, i got the p1 fresh noodles with tripe, meatballs, tendon, rare beef and brisket beef, had so much more noodles than soup, but not complaining. I got a small which was $12.99, each size bigger would be $1 more. The rolls were bomb, those were my fave. Great ambiance. Customer service was okay, our waiter seems like he didnt want to work at the time, but other staff there were also getting what we needed. Place looked pretty clean. Theres a mandatory charge of 10% per dine in orders, for their tips i guess. No debit/credit for <$10. Overall its not so bad
The taste is good, the price is fair, and the service is good. . Will come again
Pho Vietnam has a great atmosphere and beautiful decor. My personal opinion on the food was the lack of flavor. Their pho was great in terms of size and portion of food. The broth though, lacked flavour compared to others that I have tried. I had ordered chicken wings as appetizers and they were huge! I got so excited and took a big bite. It was mainly breading hardly any meat at all. Without the sauce the chicken didnt taste much other then crunchy and had a weird aftertaste. I dont know if this is how chicken is usually cooked, but my previous experience with Vietnamese chicken has always been juicy and flavourful. I couldnt finish my food and had to share it, without the sauce I dont think it would have been finished. Parking: In a plaza with parking right in front of it
Food is ok - by far not the best. If you are looking for a quick place to dine, this place would fit. Another thing I find a major turnoff is the mandatory 10% added to the bill regardless of party size. I feel tip should be associated with the level of service and not the mandatory tipping enacted at this place.
Best Lemon grass beef soup and I had an egg with it. Good seating, friendly staff, plenty of parking, the menu is in English and Chinese. The tables are well spaced out.
Friendly and speedy service. Delicious options. Overall great experience.
Probably the best pho spot in the Scarborough area. I have been coming to PHO Vietnam since their sole location on Kennedy road. My goto neighborhood spot for Pho!
Decent food but waitress was rude. Price is very good (around 12-15). Tip was mandatory. Not going here again.
Food and service are good
As an original Vietnamese, I can say pho here is the best. Soup is very clear n taste is undenniable. Feel like eating Pho in Vietnam. Staff is very friendly, definitely 5 stars from me Parking: Convenient
This one is really nice! ! The soup base is very clear, unlike some Vietnamese noodle restaurants that use MSG and will make you thirsty after eating it. I have to eat there every Wednesday! ! The more you eat, the better your family will get! ! Their fried spring rolls are also pretty good. P1 A6 D5 is a must-try every time I go! ! D5 is their iced coffee! ! Personally, I think the iced coffee tastes better than Tims, Starbucks, or McDonalds! ! The service is also very good, they are all very friendly! ! Must give 5 rave reviews, my family! ! !
Mediocre pho with unsatisfactory portion and mandatory gratitude. No clue how it gets a 4 star rating but I wouldn t recommend.
Lovely interior and confortable seating. Service was warm and friendly. Pho Dac Biet was tasty and a small bowl offered a pretty generous portion. Really enjoyed the deep fried spring rolls (A6), super crispy and packed with filling, would highly recommend ordering them. Ordered a small pho, soursop smoothie, and shared the cha gio among 3 - was quite satisfied after this meal.
One of my favorite places for Pho. Clean place, good service, very good food!
Meat portions were very small for price you pay and soup is very bland. Lots of better options for pho in the area
I have my lunch alone. The Pho is nothing special. But the bill is surprised me. The sneaky 10% service charge already added!!!
Service is good food was ok
