A beautiful inn with wonderfully welcoming staff and an amazing low rates. Very close to "le vieux quai" , and ocean views from the balcony. There are dormitories, family rooms and single rooms. Sans doute, the best place to stay on la Côte-Nord!
I don’t normally do hostels. This one is lovely. Well-decorated. Full of interesting young people who live here full-time away from home for work assignments. My bed was comfortable and the facilities clean. I was welcomed with open arms and enjoyed myself. Merci beaucoup Brigitte !
I only spent one night there but would easily have stayed a few more. The house, a converted old school is very cozy. My room was in the basement which was renovated, very clean with a separate bathroom for women and for men, each shared. ||The kitchen is quite big and everything you need to prepare a meal can be found in it.||||Brigitte the owner is so friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I especially enjoyed my coffee and morning chat with her before heading out of Sept-Îles. Thank you!
Spent the week-end in Sept-Iles and found this lovely and friendly hostel, awesome deal, super friendly staff, very homy and welcoming. Well situated close to everything. Forget the expensive hotels that don't have much to offer anyway, next time am definitely coming back here.
An amazing place to stay. Friendly, easy going and open to all age groups. The owner is a great person and speaks English. Be sure to stop in if you in the area.

A memorable stay in a fraternal environment. We had a group dinner cooked by Louissa Maria in exchange for a small voluntary contribution. A fun evening with new friends. EXCEPTIONAL!
Great clean, comfortable and well organized hostel. The only downside is that they were painting the basement when we went and it was crowded during the day to get to our room.
A special and very cheap place
Welcoming youth hostel on the North Shore. I slept in a private room so I had enough space. I brought my fan because it doesnt have air conditioning and if you close the window because of the noise, you might get hot without it. Less liked that the curtain does not block the light. There are two bathrooms with showers and a kitchen next to the bedroom. There is no elevator so it can be demanding to bring a lot of things with you. Additionally, the parking lot is too small for the number of people they can accommodate. I had to park across the street. To discover, the quay of Sept-Îles, Le Petit Shack restaurant and the creamery, it is very easy to do on foot.
I loved my stay here. Large kitchen, everything at our disposal for cooking. The yard is superb!!
Warm and pleasant
Very noisy, bad dormitory for 6, really small, you wake up on your knees with your friend, not a place to sleep for workers and expensive for what it offers.
Brigitte and her inn are a must for septiles!! Superb hostel. Authenticity and fun at the rendezvous.
Great hostel, lots of space. Located in the center of the city. Comfortable beds and good, clean showers. Good relaxed atmosphere.
The Auberge le Tangon was a great discovery: the layout and decoration are very warm, the welcome is pleasant, the rooms are well kept. During a trip to the North Coast or for a simple visit to Sept-Îles, dont hesitate to stop!

HOME, At the first step and crossed the threshold: Marble and Ice. Too much personal frustration? Unfortunately, during a stay and getaway to Sept-Îles, a surprise and unexpected scenario.

Very friendly staff. Well decorated and well located but strong smell of urine which persists both upstairs and in the basement.
Warm atmosphere and a very warm welcome. The rooms are very clean and the hostel is very well equipped. The common areas are tastefully decorated and the wood stove in the living room adds a certain charm for cold winter evenings. I highly recommend this hostel for your stay in Sept-Îles
Beautiful place, pleasant common areas. Own. Double room a bit small. The welcome was pleasant from a young girl but its a shame that the two owners were so unpleasant. (Not a word upon our arrival or during dinner, nor upon our departure, no goodbye or thank you upon leaving). It sure doesnt make you want to come back.

Excellent experience, the welcome is wonderful and very warm. I met people of all ages and from all walks of life there. We shared discussions and meals. The rooms are comfortable, the toilets very clean and the hostel well maintained. Congratulations to Brigitte and her small team. Looking forward to seeing us again soon

Warm welcome and pleasant atmosphere, this youth hostel is very clean and responsible. Access to a well-equipped shared kitchen, in addition to additional kitchenettes near the bedrooms. The bathrooms and showers are shared, but spotless. A beautiful courtyard is set up at the back to enjoy the outdoors. The ideal place for a stay, and at a very affordable price!
