My favorite on the North Coast! I spent my summer on the North Shore and I had the chance to go to dinner there twice, it s truly one of the best of my life! I recommend x1000

Just one word: WOW!!! The opinions which mention that it is too expensive for what you have are completely wrong. Quantity and quality is what we found at this restaurant. QUALITY AND TALENT IS RIGHTLY PRICED IN MY OPINION AND THATS WHAT WE HAD AT THIS RESTAURANT. 1 - Incredible and synchronized service. 2- Excellent quality of dishes. 3- A team that is very well coordinated and knows where it is going. 4- The Chef knows exactly where he is going and this is reflected in the quality of the food and especially in the flavor of each of the dishes we had. If you go through Sept-Iles you absolutely have to stop at this restaurant which is in my opinion a MUST!!! I have tried a variety of restaurants in Montreal that are in this price zone and very few have this quality and professionalism. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WHOLE TEAM AND A BIG SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THE CHEF!!!

Overall the experience was pleasant for the service and the location. Regarding the food the experience is mixed. We had excellent parmesan fondue (honestly it was one of the best Ive eaten) but the rest of the dishes were not up to par. The risotto was not fully cooked. There was still a lot of broth left, we felt that the rice would not have said no to being cooked more. For the steak, it was blue inside and we had to turn it over for a second cooking. I think our experience is not a reflection of the usual quality but due to a simple forgetting of our order at the end of the service which therefore had to be done a little too quickly. I would still like to highlight the excellent work of the second server who served us.

Wow! Can we give 6 stars?! I chose the Stroganov Beef Cheek Cavatelli and the dish is literally perfect. An impeccable marriage between homemade pasta, Brussels sprouts and asparagus cooked to perfection and the intense taste of the cheek. The quality of service and friendliness of the staff further raises the bar. If you pass through Sept-Îles, you MUST try this resto-pub. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.

The service was perfect. The food.... one of the best meals in several years. Montreal restaurants can get their act together. It was just sick.

Still so good! Very attentive waiters, the dishes are delicious and the atmosphere is warm! I recommend for a good warm and comforting ironing. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options and it is always possible to adapt the menu as needed.

The flank steak was excellent. I recommend the chefs cooking on the other hand, it is not possible to have it blue.

Best place in town. If you re in Sept-Iles for a night, this is the place to go. Mac & cheese is exceptional.

I was once in this restaurant with several friends and WOW. All my friends were happy and satisfied with their dishes. Chef Billy made sure to taste the food every time before giving it to serve. Usually, risottos are disappointing, being too mushy, undercooked or just not tasty but the risotto at this restaurant was more than excellent my friends all tasted it and told me it was the first time they had eaten it such a good risotto. The drinks were also good, the waiters super polite. Definitely, this is a restaurant to go to if you go to Sept-îles, I highly recommend it!

The menu looks excellent. However, I really do not recommend this restaurant for groups, because the options offered only allow access to a tiny part of the menu and leave no flexibility in the choice of dishes. In addition, the person who came to explain the menu to us turned out to be obnoxious and adopted a behavior that could almost be described as punitive towards us, telling us that this has been their operation for the last 3 years. and speaking to us before in a condescending tone. In short, why keep it simple when you can make it complicated.

Nothing short of exquisite! Haute cuisine at an affordable price is rare and when it happens, we take advantage of it. What a great idea to make a menu with 3 portion sizes (small, medium, large) instead of just having starters and main dishes! Impeccable service, smiling and helpful staff.

GOLDEN service and team!! I didnt think there was still an outstanding service like that offered by the talker and the Drunkard!!! Not to mention the menu!! I tried 2 dishes for dinner so undecided!! A delight!!!! Speaking with my table neighbors I realize that their opinion on the menu is the same!!! Each one as tasty as the other!! A restaurant not to be missed. Seven islands!!! UNAVOIDABLE!!!

The dishes may be delicious, unfortunately the reception is most deplorable. And we are not talking about a bad experience with a casual waiter but rather the boss. He clearly looked down on us and wanted to impose a group formula on us (incomprehensible otherwise) by arguing that too many tables would block his kitchen if everyone chose a different dish. There are many other nice, warm, welcoming and above all delicious restaurants in Sept Iles that deserve to be chosen.

Located opposite the microbrewery la Compagnie, it is a perfect restaurant if you want good service as well as well-presented and tasty food. The staff is also very pleasant and quick to serve you. We havent tried the pasta but its homemade so well try it next time! I recommend this address if you want to have a good time.

More of a 3.5 than a real 3/5. For the asking price, a little more attention to service would have been appreciated. i.e. Wine service, ice buckets, water at the table, musical ambiance (90s rock playlists). Lots of frying in all dishes in general. We nevertheless ate well, the ravioli and dumplings winning the prize.

If the exterior doesnt look much, the atmosphere inside is worth the detour, as is the talkers board. Youll even have leftovers for dinner the next day. Good selection of wines.

After reading all the positive comments about Le Bavard and lIvrogne, my wife and I rushed to eat there during our visit to Sept-Îles. We were very well received by the host. This one was not a waiter, but knew the menu well and could answer all our questions. The atmosphere of the restaurant bar is very trendy, but very historical at the same time. The food, however, is not worth the detour: the prices; especially those of mac and cheese with 80 grams of lobster for $44: its a laugh from the customers. In all the major seafood restaurants, a dish of lobster pasta with shrimp and white wine sauce costs $30. And these dishes contain a lot of lobster... I would also like to add that unfortunately, there are no local beers: only big commercial ones like Saporo (and yes, its brewed in Ontario). Conclusion, I really hope that this restaurant improves and offers a menu that will offer much better value for money.

Great evening at Le Bavard et l ivrogne. We shared dishes with our children, everyone ate well. Lots of fried food on the menu, but its good, inspired fried food: acras, fish tacos, Brussels sprouts. I will go back without hesitation!

THE table on the North Shore. Where local foods are highlighted. Where local and seasonal seafood is prepared with skill and skill. All thats missing is the beers from the micro (just across the street), which are coming but which the SAQ and its permits are inexplicably delaying. In short, to revisit outside of CoViD, and when the SAQ has pulled its fingers out of its nose. But even without that, the detour will have been worth it. The price is more than fair, especially when compared with the overrated restaurants in Le Havre and other towns and villages on the North Shore.

What a nice surprise!! Dont be fooled by the simple storefront; There is an excellent restaurant there with a menu offering a wide variety of really tasty dishes! Our favorites; the Ancestral Tomato / Feta salad, Lobster Tacos and their Portuguese-style mussels! We re not too sure about the fried chicken skin , which was very salty but oh well . Still, it s fried chicken skin ! ;) The staff is very pleasant; and the Bavard (one of the waiters) as well as the drunkard (the cool one) are definitely passionate about their restaurant!

Of course with a good meal, comes a good refreshment, and again, they will surprise you. With their wine cellar, cocktails, coffee, tea, shooters and others, you will be spoiled for choice. A very diverse wine and drinks list that will satisfy everyones tastes. Don t hesitate to ask them for advice, they will be happy to help you in your choices. I must also suggest their famous Cold Shot , a shooter made with iced coffee, which as a dessert will cleanse your taste buds and pleasantly refresh you for the rest of your gastronomic adventure. With their room service, you will be delighted. A young, dynamic and smiling team who are always ready to explain the menu to you in every detail. You wouldnt hear a member of the team tell you that they are sending you your assigned server, no matter who you make a request to, they will be happy to serve you. Harmony in exemplary teamwork, focused on serving their customers, This is what you will discover in Le Bavard and L ivrogne. There is no doubt that I absolutely recommend this restaurant.
