Excellent Service, Relaxed atmosphere Very Tasty and Delightful meal
The restaurant is a nice place to eat as for the food I really liked it. It's made for everyone. It's savory and the desserts are so good. Love the fact they are home made. Thanks again to the waiter who suggested us to take bol bouddha and soup bangkok !
Amazing food, ceaser salad, poutine, bangkok soup, fresh spring rolls. Lovely service, super friendly server. Highly recommend
The owners are very nice The food is well made with good ingredients Can only recommande
I am respecfully giving three stars as I know times are tough for restautant owners and that the young owners are friendly people who seem to be doing their best. That said, our breakfast this morning was a real disapointment. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering (we sat down at 10:30 and there was only one other table occupied). Our omelettes were barely cooked to the point where my wife gave up after three bites. There were no breakfast potatos in our plates although I had taken the time to ask if our plates cames with potatos and was told they did. In the end we spent 60 minutes waiting and 12 minutes later we were out the door still hungry and quite disppointed. Unfortunate as we have had some really great meals there. The service was always a bit slower but the owners were always super plaisainte. Hope things get back on track.
The place is a jewel for the belly. 1st times there and I can't wait to go back. Service and place are exceptional.
would've rated 5 stars a year ago, but the food quality is declining (which is a disgrace)
Good, quiet restaurant. Perfect for lunch
Beautiful plate, excellent. Several meal choices, and always satisfied. The servers are fast and smiling. Thanks for the good times
Improvement needed! We were the only ones in the restaurant on Sunday 11am for brunch. No music so no atmosphere. 40 minute wait for 3 lunches - too long for toast and potatoes. very dry, overcooked and overly salted meats - hard-cooked benedictines. Its a shame. There is room for a lot of improvement in general
OK for the price. Childrens menu 10 years and under at $7.
I pre-ordered and despite this I had to wait 1 hour 15 minutes for 2 Banh Mi and 1 Pho soup. When I got home, I had 2 Philly Steaks and 1 meatless pho soup and almost charred, uncooked fries.... Very disappointed with the service which has been mediocre for several weeks.
I ordered from door dash. the soup arrived in 2 packages... the broth hot and the rest cold (coming from the refrigerator). As if that wasnt enough, the taste... imagine licking a lemon? imagine the taste of the zest. thats what the soup tastes like. The only other thing that doesnt taste zesty in this pho soup is the beef that accompanies it, but even there, there are pieces of strip so tough you might break your jaw trying it. to chew them. This is my first restaurant review in over 30 years and I can tell you that for a meal that cost me $30 (ok, $21 because I had it delivered with Door Dash), I have never Was also disappointed with a meal. $0.50 ramen soup is better.
The soups are good. General Tao is too salty. The plates are not garnished enough. The drinks are excellent.
A wonton soup with spaghetti dough (not possible) and no taste, a Vietnamese sandwich with bread, low-end and dry, a dull salad... In short, very disappointed... Same disappointment for the one who accompanied... 1 star is even too much.
Beautiful little restaurant with terrace. Very good dishes, great discovery that is worth the detour. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity of the food. I recommend
45 minutes after our arrival and 2 tables in the restaurant...lunch not yet started so we left...so rating 0 out of 5
Worst restaurant in town. Avoid at all costs.
I find it really sad because I chose your restaurant to celebrate my mothers day and to be sure of having space I called to make a reservation... upon my arrival the door was barred with a note in the door as the restaurant is closed... I could have understood but when I made my reservation I was asked for my telephone number so the least thing would have been to inform me, which would have avoided to move around and find a new place to celebrate my mom!!! Very disappointed it doesnt make you want to go back!!!
The decoration was pretty. Lots of art. The cocktail was horrible, the Pina colada had no coconut, the glass was half full and the juice was clearly the cheapest in the supermarket. The food was bad, only 3-4 small pieces of dry meat with a not fresh aftertaste. The vegetables were okay. The rice tasted like canned rice.
Tasty dish but a wait of 45 mb with only 10 customers in the room.
The food is tasty and the managers service is perfect
Difficult restart Wait for another visit to evaluate
Very disappointed with this first experience. Enough not to go back. The overcooked pad thai was bathed in a creamy, peanut butter sauce? Bangkok soup is no better than yellow curry! 1h30 for dinner while out of 5 customers in total, 3 of them already have their meal. No water in the glasses. In short, it s very, very disappointing. Oh yes ! It s freezing near the windows
What a wonderful discovery the Chez Grace restaurant is! As soon as we entered, we were enchanted by a very warm atmosphere, accompanied by a truly impressive decor. The attention to detail in the layout creates a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. The menu, of exceptional variety, met all our expectations. Each dish was a true work of culinary art, demonstrating the passion and expertise of the team in the kitchen. The diversity of choices really delighted our taste buds. The service was exemplary, with the team not only being professional but also caring, adding to the positive experience we had. At Grace, its more than just a meal, its a complete gastronomic experience. I highly recommend the restaurant Chez Grace to all lovers of good cuisine and a friendly atmosphere. An address that will satisfy the most demanding palates. An evening at Chez Grace is a promise of unforgettable delights and pleasant moments.
Good Good Good
thank you great experience
Pitiful service. Cashier as stupid as her two feet. We ordered soup to take away and it turned out that the meat wasnt even cooked when we got home. When we go to a restaurant it s so we don t have to cook at home.
Very good service and excellent food!
Delivered by Doordash, the general tao bowls have very thick sauce that tastes like nothing and the dessert is hard as a rock. Disappointing
Nice discovery of an Asian restaurant and well adapted Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk ground
VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE!!! I ordered only Bangkok Chicken Meal Soup I received it 1 hour 15 minutes after ordering it. Also, no chicken in the soup??? When I wanted to pay the bill, the waitress simply told me, Im going to go to the bathroom first and then Ill come back to you for the bill. Sorry, but I dont recommend this restaurant. July 14, 2023 7:15 p.m.
A pleasure for the taste buds
Breaded fish and fries. The breaded fish was not cooked enough and I would have thought that the salt shaker had dropped onto my plate... It still takes a lot of time before I receive the starter.
Endless wait and failed dish. My fried pasta was bathed in an inedible soy sauce broth because it was so salty and my tofu was not even prepared, taken out of the box, cut and put on top of the pasta. I dont recommend it at all.
Bad service, way too long and not friendly at all. The food is really average. I dont recommend... Its not the first time Ive eaten at the restaurant, but it was certainly my last time at this restaurant. I have a hard time justifying a 45 minute wait when we were the only customers in the restaurant.
We had lunch at 2:00 p.m. on the terrace. The wait was worth it. The mini bangkok is super fresh, therefore succulent. The chow is very good to me, its a dish of fried noodles with shrimp and chicken. The raspberry cheesecake delighted our taste buds. We highly recommend Grace.
To flee... Waitress shocked when asked if there is a menu??? When we got the cards... we had to play the puzzle because none of them were complete... No smile... no friendliness... well, anything but professional... No one took our order after 15 minutes... even though the restaurant was empty... So we left... to eat elsewhere... with professional people...
Execrable cuisine. Spring roll no taste, the chicken in the general tao was between gum and concrete, the Bangkok soup is not a Bangkok soup. We didnt eat a quarter of our meals and yet we were dying of hunger. I would still like to point out that we had a nice welcome from the waiter, the poor guy just didnt know where to stand when we gave him back our barely started dishes but in no case is it his fault. First and last time for us. A big ARK
Very good experience for my part, I had a little soup as a starter and some really good shrimp noodles!
I have been to this restaurant several times. The food is excellent. On the other hand, the service is uneven. Sometimes it takes a while to be served. Finally, I took the soup to go and ate it in the comfort of my home. I found this to be a nice option when Im in a hurry.
I called to have an order prepared, when I left it didnt start very well, there was a big lack of professionalism, after they told me there would be a 20 minute wait and then they arrived there and made me wait another 25 minutes... suddenly I received my order. order it was not edible and its no stuffing...chicken general tao no breading of the chicken from the sauce that it....rice all stuck in the same moton with beautiful uncooked brocolli half...to accompany this, me and my partner took two bubble teas (extra tapioca) and only had 3-4 balls of tapioca inside, the Bangkok soup my partner tasted like water Very disappointed
Lack of experience in general. No guarantee that it will be well cooked next time. Ive been there 3 times but I cant be satisfied, whether in terms of the service or the quality of the dishes or cooking. Too bad, I could have adopted. I dont know whats wrong with this restaurant. Probably I wont go back there again. I dont recommend.
Very good food and very friendly staff :) A little pearl!
I go to Grace on occasion as a doordash delivery person, after my day I returned there as a customer and not only did we eat very well there but we were very well received there!
Exceptional soups and delicious dessert
Very good service, the staff are great. The food is delicious. It s a place to discover!
Very good place for lunch! Excellent service.
Excellent lunches and excellent service
Beautiful place, great service. And what about the food! Too good! One of the best Ive tasted!
Great culinary discovery. The service was pleasant and fast.
Excellent service! The food is delicious and the portions generous.
Grace is the ideal place to enjoy a light lunch to the sound of languorous bachata.
Good prices, good service, nice menu
Unfortunately the rice had no taste and the chicken was burnt then the potatoes & the soup was good however it was expensive for the quality I had! We will not order another Foix
Very good restaurant and it delivers with doordash
Amazing quality of food. Really the only thing Im disappointed about is not having discovered this restaurant before. I cant wait to discover the experience in the room. See you soon.
I have rarely had such a poor experience in a restaurant. We waited an hour to get our meals and when they arrived it was extremely cold and the taste was not there. Great disappointment, the waiter, although friendly, seemed lost and had difficulty answering our questions. Big room for improvement. Unfortunately with the prices being quite high for the quality, the experience is not worth it.
Very disappointed with my experience in this restaurant... I went there with friends to have takeout at the end of the morning (Sunday 11 a.m.): lunches and Tonkinese soups. The server was very nice but didnt seem very comfortable with taking orders. He told us that the chef was alone in the kitchen and that there would be a bit of a wait. This was not a problem for us. But hey... after almost an hour of waiting, we finally received our soups and sandwiches, but not my friends two plates of French toast. The waiter therefore returned to the kitchen to prepare it. In the meantime, we notice that our takeout soup bags do not contain utensils... We will request them. Finally, the last two bags arrive and we leave the place. In the end, we realized that the plates of French toast (at $11 each plus tax AND $2 extra for fruit) only contained a very meager portion each: 1 slice of bread, a small jar of syrup which was not maple syrup, and 4 small fruits including a gelatinous watermelon. With such an expensive price displayed, I find it deplorable to present a product like this... The Tonkinese soup was good, as usual, but the beef, which is normally raw, had been cooked... In short, your menu choice is interesting, but the waiting time and the prices for the meager lunch portions that my friends had, do not make you want to go back. Also, its not the first time Ive been there and the waiting time is exaggerated. Here are two photos of the French toast and fruit for $13... Yum....... -_-
Very good service, the owners are super friendly, very good food!
Super rest
We ordered at work and the panini before that 4 TINY pieces of chicken, no avocado as stated on the menu. The fries were disgusting. The portions are tiny. I do not suggest this restaurant.
I never received my order it was canceled and they only refunded me in 5 days and still I havent returned the fack will have to see and its great when you planned this money for dinner but when in the end you eat nothing I really recommend ordering at your own risk
Very bad experience. After ordering our drinks, we were unable to have lunch there because the service was too long (almost an hour of waiting despite the low number of customers). We left when we learned that the food served at the next table was half frozen. According to the information collected, it was the DoorDash orders that prevented the cook from properly serving his customers.
Wow the alcoholic drinks especially the pina colada. Its too good And the food is good, bravo to you
pleasant and clean courteous
Price not indicated, peanut butter in the egg rolls. By far the worst restaurant in the area. To avoid. Do not return a dish, they will charge you for it without embarrassment. The service is as bad as the food.
It lacked taste.
Bad, expensive and seriously an insult to bhan mi. We need to stop spreading ourselves too thin and want to offer too many choices. In the end, everything is expensive and nothing is tasty. You could become a quintessential Vietnamese food style place. Like Raoul in Shawinigan south. Returned your standards and your menu, you cannot do Asian, fast food and lunches because in the end nothing bothers you.
Friendly, lunches are good.
Great restaurant, ideal and flexible for vegans Thank you!
And more. A great fresh food restaurant. People with heart I love
I loved this restaurant, very good food and very good service, I recommend it!!
The dishes are always delicious and the service impeccable I really like eating the chicken gochujang (to have if you like meals a little spicier) their iced matcha latte is also excellent keep up the good work!
attention the food is very good
Beautiful atmosphere, thank you for the veggie options!
Small restaurant. Good food. We arrived at 11:30 a.m. and were able to have lunch.
$15 for a half sandwich, a salad thats not fresh and a soup with soupy Bangkok curry powder that tastes like powder. Really disappointed. There are three of us this afternoon who ordered the same meal. All three meals very disappointing. I expected better. We will not return there.
Perfect lunch menu, perfect portions, delicious flavors, warm atmosphere.
Worst restaurant of my life!
Very nice experience as part of our vacation! Andréa, waitress at the restaurant, had an extraordinary desire to serve us in a very attentive manner.
I went to get myself a Bubble Tea yesterday, the drink was relatively good, but the tapioca bubbles were really lacking in cooking, they were hard and difficult to chew, it wasnt very good in that regard.
Really good, a find in Shawinigan. Their Korean dishes like Bibimbap and Bulgogi are really good.
Very long service, we called several times in advance for orders.... then they are never ready and we are told they have stock finally they dont have it.... very disappointing . Usually, Andreas service is impeccable but that of the other waitress remains to be desired.
Very nice little restaurant! Welcoming, friendly, warm staff... Now my experience :), we were 4 adults, 4 children and the rest of the restaurant rather empty... We had Saturday morning lunch :) .... The waiter and I believe the owner very very kind, offered good service... On the other hand, very long to receive traditional lunches and unfortunately... All cold on arrival and when I say cold... C cold! Even the yolk of my eggs was frozen... The dry toasts with unmelted butter... I would rate this experience 2.5 to 3 stars max! On the other hand, the people we were with praised the lunches and the food in general! So Im leaving 4 stars and Im going back to try it because I think it was a mistake :) ...
Delicious dish! Bangkok soup!
My favorite restaurant in Shawinigan, warm welcome and various exquisite flavors, wow desserts
Bangkok soup? Delectable! Try with shrimp.
There were two of us, we had a vegetable Bangkok and a beef one, it was there. Best. Soup. Ever! Take the !
The best soup I have ever eaten in my life. Fast, efficient and super welcoming service!
Our meals were delicious. Good portion for the lunch price. WiFi. There were a lot of children though. Its harder to work.
Excellent restaurants, a very welcoming waitress and very smiling, she changes the ingredients on her menu as needed. Everything and very good I highly recommend!
I love this place! Good service and its always delicious!!
Very decent food. Long service.
Excellent quality food, courteous and fast service.
Im changing my opinion, I loved the restaurant until the move. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of water and a menu. We could only order a Bangkok soup and it took almost 1 hour to receive it. In addition, the soup contains mostly only broth and costs $11, a real joke, we finished our dinner elsewhere because we were still hungry. Fortunately we only paid for 1 soup but I found that I had to be there from 11:40 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Too bad they moved, I wont go back there again.
Best soup in Canada!
We passed around noon and it appeared to be short staffed.
Very charming and excellent soups
Tasty, comforting and friendly service, a must-try!
Saturday lunchtime was great thank you
Good service, charming decor. Delicious :)
We were 2 people, we arrived at 12 p.m. and 1 hour later we had only one glass of water and nothing to eat.... my friend had to go back to work and was therefore not able to have dinner... in addition, the Waitress was on the phone back when we went to see what was going on!
Calm and gentleness...breathe...then taste their wonderful Tonkinese soups! endless flavors <3
Comforting and tasty Tonkinese soups. Relaxed and very very affordable atmosphere
