We love Le 2800 du Parc. We stayed here for our second year in a row at the Chretien chalet while family were visiting from overseas. The accommodation is lovely, peaceful, and superbly located. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed from this waterfront accommodation. There is a private jetty, great for morning swims or simply resting on the deck and enjoying the rising sun and tranquil waters of Rivière La Mauricie. Perfect for day trips into La Mauricie National Park. We look forward to coming back soon for our next adventure. Thank you! Highly recommend.
Manager is unprepared and uncaring. On our second day here for an on-site wedding, power went out while I was in the shower. It was 2pm in the afternoon. We had no water, hydro or air-conditioning until 9am the following day! This establishment has no back up generator! They run a restaurant and a resort and host weddings. How is this even possible. They didn't think to go around to the guests with flashlights, bottles of water or anything. They did not even stay on the premises overnight!! Imagine the state of our toilets. At checkout, a clerk "how was your stay"!! No compensation, no apology, not even a free cup of their $5.00 coffee. Their response to my email was that they had decided not to reimburse any overnight guests and "have a nice day"!!! Seriously...these people know nothing about customer service....STAY ELSEWHERE
Beautiful and excellent, but expensive. 30$ for a burger and side salad, no drinks, including tax and tip
Perfect place for a morning coffee. Great view
Wonderful experience! Only short distance from the national park. Great restaurant on location. Clean new rooms
Very compact and easy living for a weekend getaway for couples. Fairly priced and easy living for winter hiking and skiing nearby national Park Maurice
A very cool little microbrewery that has excellent craft beers. It has food as well but we only had beer the day we stopped. It makes for a perfect day to go hiking in the park then stop by to have beer.
Apparently a place that recently opened. What an amazing location! The staff is super nice and friendly. The tiny chalets have everything you need and the Parc de la Mauricie is just next door. I can't wait to go again in the summer!
I 100% recommend 2800 for its restaurant, its layout which highlights nature and its extraordinary reception room! The kindness of the team, the quality of the plates, the decoration and the bucolic landscape is WoW! Thanks to VΓ©ronique who wonderfully organized our corporate event! Thanks to the whole team! I was not able to personally occupy the homes, because our family is made up of 2 humans and 2 dogs ! So if one of the accommodations ever allows us to stay with our dog, I would definitely be a customer of the accommodation! 2800, a place to discover!
Sublime place located on the banks of the St-Maurice River with a breathtaking view of it. As a hot chocolate lover, they are among the best I have ever tasted. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place is always spotlessly clean. It is also well decorated and cozy. The parking lot is large, gravel. The idea of having outdoor chairs that face the river is great. There is also an outdoor fire. The food is very good and the portions are reasonable. I highly recommend the 2800. It s definitely worth a look.
This was the stage we were most looking forward to in our trip and it was the one where we were the most disappointed... We came here looking for a quiet and relaxing setting. Its completely missed. I thought I had booked a small individual chalet and we found ourselves in the accommodation of the large chalet next to the restaurant.... the disappointment was enormous because we have neighbors above us and it is very, very poorly insulated. The view of the River is superb but noisy because we can hear the highway on the other side of the bank very well. The first evening the chalet next door had a wood fire in its stove and the smell of smoke entered our accommodation for several hours!!! But worse than that, on the 2nd evening we heard very loud music from the country evening which was in the room next to our accommodation... I dont understand that you rent the accommodation in the large chalet when evenings are planned. Not to mention the many customers chatting outside... Tap water is advertised as drinkable and filtered but when we put it in a carafe it was yellowish and oily! Fortunately the accommodation is very clean and very well equipped but that does not justify the price for us. Nearby activities: Mauricie Park Noteworthy details: Be careful when you rent not to end up in the accommodation of the large chalets.
What a place! We celebrated our wedding there and it was truly the dream location! We had a vision of a warm, natural location where we could spend the entire weekend with the people we care about and thats exactly what we got. We had nothing but good comments about the place from our guests, everyone loved it. The facilities are magnificent, the landscapes are breathtaking and the staff are so welcoming and attentive!! VΓ©ronique was wonderful from our first discussions with her for planning, and she was so helpful throughout our journey, including the big day. In short, we recommend 100% and we cant wait to return there to eat, stay and relive the magnificent memories of an absolutely memorable weekend at 2800 du Parc! We rented the ChrΓ©tien chalet for a weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday. There were 6 of us. Beautiful place, very nice view, comfortable!
Little paradise Right at the entrance to Mauricie Park We spent three nights in this accommodation, which was very well suited to our research. Small cottage, very well equipped, very pleasant A true haven of peace, Staff, extremely helpful and available. Everything is there to have a good stay. See you soon Elvira & Julien
Bistro..
The best base camp in a national park you will find in Quebec!! Cyclists, runners, cross-country skiers, campers, hikers all are welcome with a nice sporty and friendly vibe!! You must try the 2800 electrolyte beer if you play sports Food and drinks: A restaurant in addition to accommodation
We stopped for a snack and dinner in the evening, a very nice place to relax after hiking in La Mauricie park
Beautiful establishment and well located. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is courteous and warm.
Magnificent view.
Really a beautiful place where we were able to chat with friends on a magnificent terrace.
Super nice site. We just went to have a beer outside on the banks of the St-Maurice, sitting relaxed with the kids. Ok will come back to taste the food
Excellent food, affordable prices, magnificent views and welcoming staff: what more could you ask for? However, I returned there 2 years later and the culinary experience was no longer the same. Everything was bland. Damage...
The chalets had everything we needed and the service was great! I loved my stay!!
Always nice to come and have a drink on the terrace
Exceptional accommodation! Small, cozy and very well equipped cabin in a magnificent location. Warm welcome, quality restaurant and quiet environment. Close to the Mauricie park for beautiful hikes. Truly perfect!
Super restaurant
Very close to Mauricie
A quiet place, with all the services to combine nature and well-being
We went for a drink on the terrace on August 3 and they had no electricity. So the menu was very limited. As food: chips only. As a beverage, canned beer and wine or cocktails. So far so good! When ordering, the waiter told us that he would offer us chips if we wanted. So kindly offered we said yes, although we didnt really want it. After eating about ten, it was enough. When we received the invoice, we were pleasantly surprised that they were charged to us!!! That s not what I call offering from home! $6 for a dozen chips, while we stay in your establishment despite the fact that you have almost nothing to offer given the lack of electricity and that in addition we have to pay cash (nice little pass to get through that black and more). In short, a nasty disappointment.
Hi we have been eating the 2 times to date and it is very good and the service is very good too I recommend even if it costs a little expensive it is worth the detour the food is great and the waitresses are super pretty which adds a best atmosphere I think shes Native American but I wont go too far, shes super cute I love this restaurant and whats more it has a view of the St Maurice river with a terrace outside and on the edge water and there are even rooms to rent which I admit add a certain charm I will definitely return there p.s. I recommend this restaurant for sure Walkability: Access to the waters edge, there is a boat dock at the bottom and its also great Food and drinks: I especially recommend the drinks served with copper glasses, they tick. Noteworthy details: The waitresses are really very pretty and one in particular
We loved this place! The area is peaceful and 2 minutes from Parc de la Mauricie. The cabins are well equipped with large windows to enjoy the view. Everything is well organized. The beds are not made on arrival, I would like to point out this for those who are not used to it like me :)
We only ate there but it was excellent. Fast despite the number of us, more than 20. Food and drinks: We only ate there but it was excellent. Fast despite the number of us, more than 20.
I stopped there to eat before spending an afternoon at the park. The place is magnificent, I would have spent a good hour on the grounds if I had had time (red chairs, small terrace). I had a tuna tartare (starter: served with grilled cachous, marinated cabbage, gacamole and tostitos) and a fries (starter). It was excellent. There were fries for 3!
Magnificent little chalets built directly on the edge of the Saint Maurice River. Rooms: New chalet and a beautiful modern room Nearby activities: Mauricie Park and the Saint Maurice River in front of the chalets
Food and drinks: Tartar of excellent beef
Excellent meal. An exceptional pianist Jessie PΓ©pin. Very kind staff.
Food and drinks: Delicious food and views. Great service. The fish tacos were stacked with delicious toppings. Easy to get to if you are camping in the Park! Service
Great place. Dinner, panoramic view, cool place and landscape. Wow
A very good place, nice cooking and really cool staff ... and the view : wow Nearby activities: Parc de la Mauricie Service : 5/5 |
I went for the first time...extra site, extra food...to see, an exceptional site in Mauricie.. THANKS
The boss and his employees are very nice. We had a very pleasant time! I recommend and thank you again!
Magnificent place, very friendly staff but food really not great especially when you see the price. Thats not right.
Wonderful experience. The welcome, accommodation and location were perfect to offer a wonderful stay on site. Very quiet place and the chalets are well insulated. The equipment provided is more than adequate for a stay of a few days! I loved the place and will definitely return. Thanks to the whole team! Rooms: The small chalets for single people or for 2 people are very welcoming and warm. Great experience! Nearby activities: La Mauricie National Park is very close, and the chalets are located on the waters edge. Food and drinks: The food at the restaurant is delicious! Prepared with care.
The complete package is right here! Always my pleasure . Nearby activities: Hike...... Food and drinks: The restaurant offers everything you need
An excellent place to organize a shoulder lake. At the restaurant, Γmilie gave us excellent service. The staff warmly accompanied us in the evening in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
The place is great.
I give 3 stars for the rooms because there were 3 of us and its really too small (there can be up to 4 in the Pilois). I only give 4 stars for the location despite the view because there is a highway on the other side of the lake (nice view by the way). As always 5 stars for service and welcome... Canadians are masters when it comes to kindness towards customers!
Nearby activities: Parc National de la Mauricie à environ 500 mètres. Rooms
It s an enchanting site! The chalet is equipped like a house. Everything is there for an incredible stay
Very nice little chalet, very comfortable, very friendly staff Beautiful location on the banks of the St-Maurice River
Really nice place close to the national park. Really amazing food and super warm staff!
I honestly dont find anything negative, everything was perfect. Clean, beautiful, well located, good privacy, warm, simple and efficient service. Nearby activities: Hiking
What a beautiful weekend we spent in Quessy. Beautiful chalet, well thought out, very clean with a magnificent view. The reception staff as well as the catering staff are very welcoming. I recommend!
Beautiful little chalets! Exceptional service at reception! Beautiful scenery on the riverside. Access to La Mauricie Park right next door!
We rented Le ChrΓ©tien, great chalet, large terrace with a view of the Saint-Maurice, 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. The chalet offers a warm decor, is clean and very well equipped for cooking. In addition there is a slow combustion fireplace. It is ideally located for activities in the Parc de la Mauricie. The 2800 restaurant, right next door, offers an interesting alternative for meals! Finally, I really appreciated receiving a call, on the day of our arrival at 12:12 p.m., to inform us that the chalet was ready and that we could take possession in advance, at no additional cost!
Very clean. Very close to La Mauricie Park. But the chalets are in a parking lot, which is not very private (view of the other chalets), which we really disliked.
Super well placed, facing the river. Really close to La Mauricie Park. We rented a so-called rustic chalet. 2 single bunk beds and 2 double bunk beds, small equipped kitchen (no oven), a wood stove and a small bathroom with shower. Terrace with BBQ. Free parking. Perfect for a weekend. There is equipment for rent: cross-country skis, snowshoes, crampons with childrens sizes available. We ate at the restaurant one evening: very good and very pleasant place.
Always nice to stop there! For a beer. For a meal
Very nice getaway restaurant meal and little chalet bed ! Impeccable service and very comfortable and clean chalet!
A super pleasant end to the day at 2800. Pleasant and friendly staff. Soothing decor of an old barn. Location on the edge of St-Maurice, everything is perfect. I adore !
Everything was perfect A place to discover!
Very nice accommodation located in a very pleasant setting. We were well received and the staff was available quickly if the slightest problem occurred. We recommend the parks 2800 for a relaxing family stay.
Just WOW
Excellent service! Duck onion soup, incredible!
We really enjoyed our stay! The parc is located a few meters away from Mauricie parc entrance!
We had dinner there during our stay at Nature Nature opposite. Very good food. The duck onion soup is worth a try. She is generous with meat. Good fast service too. They agreed to take our dog if he was calm. They have chargers for electric vehicles.
Nice
Menu changes often so its more what have a meal like nachos other time served with chicken and the other time not chicken and all dry supposedly mistakes waitress who doesnt come often wanted bread didnt come wanted utensils no in brief very disappointed for the 3rd time
A place, a view and above all people that are worth the detour!
One of my favorite places with an incredible food and view pairing!
Nice place for dinner with friends. Some diversity in the menu but not much choice. Disappointed with my entry, but generally its good, to try in summer.
Unique place! You will love the experience.
The place is warm, the food is simply sublime and the service is excellent!
Wow great food and what can I say about the GREAT service from Emilie. We had a pleasant evening. Very nice, friendly place. To discover or rediscover. We will return there for sure.
My stay at 2800 du Parc was a 5-star experience. The welcome, the hospitality and what can we say about the place! Along the majestic St-Maurice River and a stones throw from the Mauricie National Park, our stay was memorable! We highly recommend it and we will definitely come back. Thanks to the whole team!
We went to the restaurant only. The food was excellent, but the service was lacking for a group.
What a nice place! Warm, bucolic
I cant wait to go back in the summer!
Poor soundproofing!!! Very nice place, on the other hand the accommodation Pilois Nord and Le Pilois are located on the ground floor, below the accommodation Le ChrΓ©tien (in the barn facing the St-Maurice River) where the restaurant is located -bistro. The exterior stairs (of the ChrΓ©tien accommodation) are located along the Pilois Nord wall so you can hear everyone going up/down as if they were in our accommodation. Having slept one night in Pilois Nord, lack of soundproofing, we hear the footsteps of people walking over our heads and we hear people chatting. This is the big downside of the experience. Better to rent the small chalets next door because it is not mentioned when booking that Les Pilois Nord and Sud are in the barn and that it is really not soundproofed.
Superb site on the banks of the St-Maurice river, a stones throw from the national park. Cyclists are very well received. The portions are perfect and the menu choices are truly appetizing. Selection of beers for all tastes.
Perfect mini chalet Le Cadorette with direct view of the river, for 3 people, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, bathroom with shower, new and super clean, storage space for luggage. Mini fireplace, ecological logs provided. Breathtaking landscape even in winter. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Excellent restaurant bar on site. 5 minutes by car from La Mauricie Park, its a must!!!
Thank you so much to Γmilie and Laeticia for saving our evening! They were kind enough to welcome us despite the closing time! We were in a bad situation and they did everything to accommodate us. Not only did they let us into the bar but we had a great evening! They are sparkling, passionate, interesting, generous etc etc...This place deserves to stop there! Thank you again and definitely see you soon!
Very warm place
A beautiful, quiet place. Clean and super friendly people. Chalet with a view of the St-Maurice.
We really liked our experience at Parc 2800 and we highly recommend it. Well laid out and safe, only one point to improve is the sound insulation, especially after 11 p.m.
From the park
I rented a small chalet with my 2 daughters last February. Everything was perfect! It s very efficient as a chalet. There is a bbq outside but there is a small electric stove inside. The meals at the restaurant are also excellent. It s convenient because you can rent equipment on site for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing and La Mauricie Park is not far away by car. I highly recommend especially for the excellent service received! Thank you for this great experience. Nearby activities: Skiing, snowshoeing in winter. Safety: The chalets are not isolated and easy to access.
Beautiful place, very nice view of St Maurice Rooms: Small cottage Nearby activities: Mauricie National Park
Magnificent scenery along the St-Maurice! Super friendly staff, well equipped rooms.
So worth the trip!!! The food, the drinks, the service, the view, the nature. A must in Mauricie
Very pleasant restaurant with a magnificent setting. Good cuisine that is out of the ordinary. Pleasant staff. Nearby activities: Mauricie National Park
Incredible view
We had to eat there, an impediment forced me to cancel but it was only postponed
After visiting the natural park, we have a well-deserved rest
The only point to work on is the price of meals. Its about average, even with this panorama. But I still liked my experience.
A pretty chalet, but it doesnt look like the photos
The restaurant staff is very nice .
Onion soup miame miame Nacho MIAME MIAME The super sweet waitresses especially Γmilie!!
It was our first visit and we greatly enjoyed it. Both the service and the food were excellent. We will return there because it is very well located at the exit of Parc de la Mauricie and perhaps even for sleeping.
Great service, excellent meal! Great experience there.
Very salty meal, potato poutine and cold sauce, the worst I have eaten to date
Great food, great service, great life and friendly employees.
The place is truly magnificent! Nearby activities: Near La Mauricie National Park
We passed there during our tour of the Quebec region. A magnificent view of the river, a real haven of peace to disconnect. We brought our own meal, so we cant judge that point. Rooms: The bunk beds are really very pretty and comfortable.
Stop for a meal. Beautiful and warm place, the owner is very friendly and the staff exceptional. I highly recommend this place.
The location is wonderful with the view of the river. For our service, one member of our table received their dish while the others had finished eating. On the other hand, we were offered a drink to compensate. Its a nice place to go with friends but we were with family and the childrens menu is $15 and did not include a drink or dessert. So, with 3 children, the bill adds up quickly, you have to know that .
Very nice place. Stop for a beer. Extraordinary and peaceful environment.
Stayed 2 nights in a chalet, breakfast and meal at the restaurant! Very very well placed, the boss at the top, the ideal setting! I advise and over-advise
Food and drinks: Poutine mexicaine excellente Service
Crazy place! Top service and unforgettable welcome by Steeve. CanΒ΄t miss!!!
Concept of mini studio all in wood: great! Proximity to the park entrance
Splendid view!
Excellent place to eat, very nice view too.
Great place! We slept there two nights: quiet, very cute and the river as well as the Mauricie park next door is a real plus! I recommend :)
Magnificent site a stones throw from La Mauricie Park and located on the banks of the St-Maurice River. 3rd stay with friends at 2800 du parc and this year, we were able to rent the spacious chalet Le Doucet. We loved our weekend. At the restaurant, excellent service from Γmilie, what a wonderful evening we had! Thank you! Looking forward to seeing you again next year
DΓ©finitivement un endroit Γ dΓ©couvrir. Des chalets parfaitement situΓ©s, bien Γ©quipΓ©, confortable.
We were only passing through but the energy here is really out of the ordinary. An area away from the problems of the modern world. A haven of peace perhaps. Anyway, magic or not, their $4 espresso, even if expensive, is ok.
Magnificent setting! Small downside: smell of pipes and undrinkable water. Missing a light bulb for the living room and a small piece of furniture for things in the bathroom ;)
A great accommodation for those who love adventure and like to spend the night in a rustic style. We had a great chalet with a full kitchen, grill and a view of the Mauricie River. It was really great and very close to the entrance to the national park. We were able to park right in front of the hut. Unfortunately the internet was not available for us and we always had to go to the main house.
I loved it, were going back in January 2024
We ate there a few times, the dishes are good, too bad the waitress is so unpleasant
What can I say other than Perfect! The location is exceptional next to the Parc de la Mauricie We spent 2 nights in a small cabin Beautiful decor Great bedding Great service Great food at the restaurant with a top team I recommend the duck onion soup: killer! Thank you for this beautiful memory in this beautiful country Rooms: Beautiful bedding
Everything is there, view included!
there is a MAJOR problem with the noise emanating from the sump pump...24/7...the pump runs for 8 sec, followed by a 28 sec howl, followed by a 17 sec stop. 24/7(!!) the occupants of the rooms on the ground floor had to go to sleep every night on the sofa in the living room...after the first night, we were made to believe that it was debris in the pump...but it was a way of buying time...the second night it was always the same...disappointing...and at your risk future tenants!!!
Perfect place to eat or simply have a drink on your way back from La Mauricie National Park. Warm atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. Its worth the detour.
We all loved these chalets
Exclusive panorama
I chose Les HΓ©bergements 2800 du Parc for a couples getaway with my girlfriend for our fourth anniversary. From the start, it was clear that customer experience was one of their priorities. I had made a special request which was not part of their usual services, and they showed exceptional willingness to fulfill it and thus allow me to surprise my girlfriend. Upon arriving there, the staff were amazing, both at reception and in the restaurant. Our reservation for 6 p.m. was handled with service worthy of royalty. The staff was friendly, and the food was simply exceptional. As for the mini-chalet we rented, it had everything we could need. It was cozy, warm, cute, and so much more. We had a memorable stay thanks to the exceptional attention of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere of the place. Les HΓ©bergements 2800 du Parc is undoubtedly the ideal place for a romantic getaway. Five well-deserved stars! Thanks to the team and especially a special mention to Laetitia for her incredible service. Food and drinks: Worth having a nice dinner at the restaurant on site. Amazing food, service and personalized drinks.
The meal was good but the service not at the level of what you see in Quebec. Dish served while the starter is not cleared, garnishes reversed.
What a lovely stay at 2800 du parc. I loved everything about my visit, from the exceptional service and good advice on hiking to the perfect chalet that awaited me. Beautiful view, warm and attentive employee. This place deserves to be known by everyone.
One of our favorite accommodations on our trip. It is an ideal location, whether for the proximity to the Mauricie Park or the beauty of the landscapes along the banks of the Saint-Maurice. We also ate/lunched well at the associated restaurant, the food is good and the people are friendly.
Magnificent, calm, relaxing, excellent welcome....I highly recommend!
The tartars are delicious, I highly recommend them
Delicious cappuccino
Friendly staff, very nice place
I had the pleasure of eating a delicious meal there despite my allergies. THANKS.
Excellent evening, very good meal! We recommend with your eyes closed And a little extra for the kindness and honesty of the people who work there because I had forgotten my wallet with $300 in it at the counter. It was put aside and was waiting for me the next day
Friendly staff. Wood and propane cans are expensive
Very beautiful place on the edge of St-Maurice. A very necessary stop.
What a magnificent place! Beautiful atmosphere and superb view. Perfect for an aperitif!!
Great beautiful place! The staff and the food are exquisite :)
Very nice place, good food.
Wonderful site and great food
Very good food and a breathtaking view of St-Maurice.
Nice place, nice view, but didnt get a chance to stay there because they were closing
Finally a perfect restaurant! Just became my #1 restaurant to eat with my girlfriend, perfect location and decor both inside and outside, perfect atmosphere, smiling and welcoming staff, the food is great. (entrance fondant brie, mamoute burger / poutine and nachos) Don t give up!
Superb place! Eat well
It s a great place to have a drink on the banks of the St-Maurice
Super cool place on the edge of St Maurice
Nice place to have a brunch or lunch. It has a great view and its very near to the national park
Gorgeous restaurant/cafe with perfect decor Friendly welcome with lots of advice for hiking We had hot chocolates with spices, a delight I recommend
Excellent! The staff is really nice! And the decor!!!!! GORGEOUS!
The best Pub in town! Piles Pub is the place to have an unforgettable time!
Very clean chalet, very kind owner
They should put beer holders on the beds
Very warm place
Long but very good!
