Ma poutine de casse croûte préférée à Shawinigan et les environs. La poutine Jeannot est vraiment bonne. Seule déception il n'y a pas de menu enfants.
After finding several restaurants closed for vacation we found this place shortly before closing. The staff was extremely friendly and nice, fish and chips were very good, cheeseburger got a thumbs up. We did not feel rushed even though they were in their closing routine a few minutes after the food arrived. Super staff!!
La poutine est très bonne ! La sauce BBQ est à essayer. Cependant, j’aurais apprécié une plus grande quantité de fromage pour accompagner le volume de frites que nous avions. Cela demeure somme toute excellent !

The food is alright, but 1) there is no AC so when it's 38C outside, it's even hotter inside because of the kitchens, 2) everyone is screaming all the time and you can't speak or hear anything because of it, and 3) the restaurant is full of old people who contribute to the constant screaming, and who don't care about the distancing measures or... anything, really. Just constantly rubbing themselves on everyone and screaming in their ears, and the staff doesn't do anything about it because they're also all screaming and dying of the heat. Simply miserable
Time for a COVID-19 review... This place has a good system in place, however, the air is very stagnant and it will get worse when we will enter summer. Unless they find a way to install a proper ventilation system that replaces air from outside or filter it, it will surely become a place to get your daily dose of COVID-19 and build up commune immunity, unless you have an N95 or better mask with you're at risk even with the process in place. Sorry for the employees who are exposed too!

My poutine was very generous and delicious
The food we got was good, but a quarter of our order was missing, which we realized when we got home. So by the time we went back to get the things, the rest was cold. Additionally, the Club Sandwich plate does not have fries, even though it costs $14.75 and there are fries in the photo.

Everything is very good, but the prices are much too high and it often increases. Opening hours ? Its not like elsewhere. Prices have doubled in 2 or 3 years. Inflation yes I know!

Excellent, excellent taste just a few twigs to improve the Italian poutine too much content for the number of cheese. I would eat fewer fries so that the fries-cheese dosage is better balanced. Honorable mention to the soup which was excellent, I was greatly surprised that a simple soup was so good. And also mentions the choice of the day soup, drinks, Italian poutines and desert for excellent value for money.

Would only miss air conditioning or simply open doors or windows, I was sitting next to the thermostat which indicated 30 c at the beginning of May when its barely 15-17 outside I cant imagine summer in the heatwaves thumbs up at employee who works in this heat

On the internet the closing time is 8 p.m., but by 7 p.m. the restaurant is already closed. Damage.

I have known this restaurant since I was little, my mother used to bring me there for my grandmother and the shawi potatoes remain the same as those at Jeannot at Grand-Mère. Always dedicated and very professional staff I tell you to try the potato sauce and cabbages or the poutine or the Michigan always prepare the poutine in the same way general thao is sick!!!! I highly recommend!!!
