We love food. But if we book at 7 p.m. or later, definitely we will have signals telling us that we should check out at 8:30 p.m. From 7:45 p.m., the waitress will be more attentive, whoever picks up the dishes will want to take everything with them. At 8:15 p.m., the sweeper will pass. The waitress will have lost her smile for at least 30 minutes. But we have to tell you that when we come to eat at the restaurant, it s for the experience. It s about taking our time. Okay, so we understood that Casa Grecian is not that kind of restaurant. Well stay home and at worst, well order pizza. We will have a good wine. And we will tip the delivery person. He will be happy! No problem, drive and deliver, anyone can do that!

The first thing the waitress did when we arrived was to accuse us of having reserved for 8 when there were 6 of us and that we wasted two places for nothing (even though our reservation was and always has been for 6) From that moment on, the waitress was arrogant towards us and continued to disrespect us. This one even canceled on the machine then said did you want to put 15%? So our friend felt obliged and simply acquiesced. In short, worst service ever received in a restaurant. Oh well, $75 for a plate of rice with 3 scusez skewers but that s completely excessive.

Lunch as a couple. Much too personal welcome, the lady constantly addresses us as if we were friends. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, the smell of damp, old, very unpleasant, got to our noses. Ordering a butterflied shrimp lunch result: horrible taste and texture, after just one shrimp my heart rose and nothing came in. Very large piece of salad on the side with several cottons, soup as a starter (cream of chicken) which tasted watery and very bland, no need to mention that nothing was eaten apart from the one and only shrimp. My husband, for his part, orders the fish and chip lunch menu, a horror, the supposedly homemade tartar sauce, thick and the oil floated on the surface, fish and chip with a taste of rancidity and old burnt oil. We left with high hearts on our appetite. We have never eaten anything so terrible. Not recommended!

The waitress never came to see us all evening. If you do not provide your staff, cut the restaurants capacity. One of the worst experiences I have had. Very long service. We had booked a group of around thirty people and despite the reservation they were definitely not ready to receive us. We also found a fly in one of the plates... In the middle of winter... Ordinary... It was so cold when we entered the restaurant that we had to keep our coats on at the table. Two hours before receiving our plates and one hour before we were served coffee. We wont talk about the table dhôte at an extra $18, hello the deal. Really disappointing.

The server was great, really smart, attentive and there at the right time. ZERO STAR Utter disappointment. This evening, my wife and I chose this restaurant for our Valentines Day dinner. Her meal was very good, as she ordered it. For my part, I ordered a surf and turf (7 ounce filet mignon and 3 butterfly shrimp for $44.95). I took the trouble to insist to the waiter that it was very important that my filet mignon be VERY blue and what I mean by very blue is that I want it COLD BLUE, which means that my steak must be raw inside. The waiter retorts, Theres no problem with that because its the boss who is the cook this evening. I called the waiter back and showed him how far from blue my steak was. To which he agreed immediately, then he immediately returned to the kitchen with my plate. The waiter, who by the way was very pleasant and apologetic, returned a few moments later with my plate and the same steak on it, telling me that the boss had decided that this steak was indeed blue and that even if he cooked another one for me, it would be cooked the same way as this one. So, in addition to being arrogant, the owner of the Casa Grecian in Shawinigan obviously doesnt know how to cook a steak. I will never eat at this place again.

This is the worst meal and worst service I have had in a restaurant. We were in the restaurant from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. We were placed at a table for two between two very busy rows. There was no privacy. Our waitress took our order quickly: a starter of fried squid shared and the plate for 2 Poseidons. We had to hold her back to ask if there were different types of salad with the meal, after information we had the caesar salad. The cellular network does not reach the restaurant, I had to call the waitress to ask her if the restaurant had wifi, she told me yes and that she would come back with the code. We received our starter quickly, it was very good, fortunately. 30 minutes later I had to call her again for the code, she came back with it 15 minutes later, didnt bother to stop at our table to give it to us, she just mentioned it very quickly while going to serve another table. So quickly that we couldnt use it. We received our meal at 7:35 p.m., in the meantime, our waitress did not come to see us once. Nor to know if everything was okay or to know if we needed anything. If you have ever been to Casa Grecque, you know that the plates are well stocked with lots of rice, potatoes and salad. Our plate for two had barely the portion that a single plate normally has. Not only that, the food was lukewarm, but it was mostly overcooked. The grilled shrimp was burnt and very rubbery, the salmon was so cooked that it wouldnt fall apart with a fork, we had to cut it with a knife. Luckily the butterfly shrimp and squid were good. Our Caesar salad was served to us more than 10 minutes after we received our meal. It had no taste, bland and flavorless in addition to having very little filling. We received our bill and learned at the same time that the Caesar salads were each extra for $3.75 + tax. We were never informed of this, we would have had the salad usually included in the meal. Waiting 2 hours for a good, expensive meal is okay, waiting 2 hours for a very bad, expensive meal is insulting and disrespectful. I am an extremely patient and understanding person, I myself have a background in cooking. But the quality of service and food this evening is unacceptable. I hope our bad experience helps you make an informed decision.
