Ideal for eating on the go. The quality of the dishes is not excellent but for the price and speed it is adequate. The hot dog was quite good, however I dont recommend the onion rings which were too greasy and not very tasty.

Their specialty, barbecued meat, is a delight. Nothing to do with what were used to eating. Here we are talking about slow cooking at low temperature.

The owner was EXTREMELY RUDE and yelled at me and my husband for their mistake on their prices. We kindly asked for clarification and he insulted us. Never come back here. The owner made me feel bad The Consumer Protection Act stipulates that in Quebec, merchants cannot sell their products at PRICES HIGHER than those they announced or displayed. The law also requires that they give customers compensation for pricing errors ($10). Its sad when the owner of this place completely ignores the law and would rather insult you first. In the end he enforced the law but not before saying that if I wanted a cheaper hamburger I should have gone to MacDonalds with other degrading adjectives. We dont have to be insulted because you are not doing your job properly, the first woman who helped us with the problem was respectful, she deserves a 5 star. Excellent BBQ Poutine

2nd visit in 2 weeks after a day at La Mauricie Park. Great food, great service. I absolutely recommend.

The poutine sauce is really tasty and flavorful. The hamburger is juicy and so good in the mouth, I would have had another one. The 1/2 barbecued sub was good with a little strong sauce which made an excellent combination.

In fact, I didnt go to the restaurant, there is a catering service and its thanks to the wonderful person called Richard who introduced me to the place to the point of taking the trouble to photograph the logo from the restaurant that was on the door of the delivery car when I was on Richards lot. It was nice to see Richard and maybe the restaurant staff will be happy to welcome me. To think that I left Montreal to try this restaurant. By the way, the barbecues are excellent.

We were served by the owner who was incredibly kind. The food was very good and the portions more than generous for the price.

One of the best regional snacks I have tasted! Absolutely nothing to do with bad channels like Belle Province, it has nothing to do at all. When leaving, customer service 10x better, ultra-smiling and welcoming staff, terrible quality of food! Never had such good poutine at Méchoui and a very reasonable price. The quantity of the large one was exactly perfect for 3 people on it :) Also the GAS HEATED terrace setup is sick, it s a super good idea! Very happy to have discovered this restaurant when leaving the Mauricie park.

I had a vegetarian poutine (green peppers, mushrooms, onions) with brown gravy. I had to add salt and pepper for the first time in my life. Taste almost nothing or I get covid. Little cheese too.

We were on our way back from vacation and looking for a place to stop for dinner. My daughter did a search and looked at the menu and customer reviews. We had the chance, the privilege of discovering this wonderful snack. Cordial and very warm welcome, the menu is well stocked. The place is clean and well maintained. For meat lovers, the beef and pork burger with Michoui is succulent as is the onion ring. The poutine and yes again with the meats with pepper sauce is to roll on the floor. There is a large, well-landscaped area with several tables and umbrellas. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. Whats saddest....its a two hour drive from our house. We will definitely return.

What to say? Service like never before and good food. Well decorated and warm atmosphere. Its a nice stop for hungry people after a long drive. For the locals: a secret too well kept!
