Eggsquis Rock-Forest in Sherbrooke

Extremely disappointed with the return of the restaurant manager! As a regular customer, I expected at least a commercial gesture from her! Context of food allergy Celiac disease! When ordering, I take the trouble to advise that the club sandwich bread must be gluten-free (as normal, she never eats it) and given the allergy and not the intolerance for my child of 8 years. I was never told when ordering or serving that the bread was toasted in the same toaster as the one containing gluten (cross-contamination therefore absolutely prohibited). Whats more, when served, the Caesar salad contained gluten croutons! When I asked to make the salad again without the croutons, the manager came to tell me that the bread was contaminated by the toaster. How come this information was not initially transmitted when ordering? It seems to me that it is a minimum to serve and inform the customer well! That being said, I at least expected the plate to be offered by the manager! After discussion with the waitress, nothing happened! They made me pay for the plate we couldn t eat! Absolutely deplorable!

**Update** The owner contacted us to correct the error and gave us a gift card in our name to the restaurant following our last visit.. great service** In addition, the welcome was excellent We went to dinner there. The dinner menu is really perfect, however I had a problem with the chicken fingers...very cold and dry and I never usually complain. I asked the waitress and she came back 2 minutes later asking me to give her the old chicken fingers because the kitchen needs proof, which seems fair to me. She brings us more chicken fingers, these are really hot but even drier than the last ones. In the end, I dont eat them. My wife had the salmon and it was very good. Unfortunately, we didnt get any discount or little 10% as an apology or anything, which I find a bit inappropriate, but hey... everyone has their own way of running their business. Just maybe pay attention to the customer experience, especially since I didnt eat the food. It would have been nice to feel listened to or sympathized by making me pay for what I actually consumed.

Ok...same as almost all lunches in town. I had a waffle. There was more fruit than the desired food product otherwise...3/5 very basic as a restaurant. And the service...2/5 :(

The kitchen is correct, faithful to eggquis, this restaurant charges for changes example: an expert special, if you only ask for bacon they charge 2 changes (normally bacon, sausage, ham)

Perfect service and food, but no air conditioning, and it seems that this is not a priority for the owner!

No ventilation!!!! its hot no sense then we are there for a short time poor staff who work there. Despite everything, there is great service and she always has a smile.

Pleasant atmosphere, the staff works well together, warm and bilingual welcome. Relatively fast service. We liked it and it was a great experience. Clean and beautiful decor.

I corrected my stars 3 years later, instead of 3 stars... I gave 5 stars today. My daughter wanted to come see your restaurant for lunch. Today Tuesday March 28, 2023, 12:30 p.m. I found the good portions from before on my plate, my two crepes were perfect yum yum, plus the restaurant is magnificent, even in the bathroom I love the plant at the entrance, I would take a cutting Thank you for providing beautiful plates. The breakfast casserole was bathed in oil. The asparagus and ham Benedictine plate was delicious.

Worst experience in a restaurant I have ever had. We were told we had to leave before the next hour. No problem on our part but it caused a completely unpleasant experience and atmosphere. I honestly felt like we werent welcome and were causing trouble as soon as we arrived. After asking if we could change tables since there were fewer people, we were told that we had been warned and that it was our problem. I have never been so ashamed of a restaurant selection. If youre going to treat people this way, why take the reservation?

Best lunch experience in Sherbrooke and more-than-perfect staff

We were well received and served in a very reasonable time given the situation of lack of employees. The waitress was really nice!

We love the food and the service. Very good little place.

The portions are very calculated and it shows.. Two small ladles of Hollandaise sauce on the Benedictines and a spoonful of small potatoes cut into cubes.. In short the least generous of all the Eggsquis restaurants that I have tried.

Its a good lunch restaurant We always received our food quickly despite the number of people present. The prices are reasonable and honestly it is one of the best lunch restaurants in Sherbrooke.

Great welcome with smiling and warm staff to serve us. The plates were generous, varied choices of drinks with even the possibility of toasting with a mimosa . The decoration and atmosphere is pleasant, the restaurant is large and has an upper floor. We will return there, for sure!

The service was impeccable and pleasant and above all the presentation of the revas was perfect and the food was downright delicious. Eggsquis Rock-Forest is a safe bet.

On February 19, 2022, we had a reservation for 6 people at 11:30am. We arrived 15 minutes early. We waited 45 minutes, still no place, yet there were 2 other reservations, one for 8 people and one for 10 people who still had not arrived on time 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Their tables were already ready to receive them but not the OUR ! They didnt even apologize! it was a restaurant that I frequented often. They have just lost a client and several others. I no longer recommend this restaurant! Really very disappointed! We went to eat at Cocofruitti in Rock Forest nearby and we were served quickly.

Very disappointed with the service received last Friday, I was served by a French waitress without any respect for the customer, as stupid as these feet, with an attitude that is not compatible with service in a restaurant. There is an unhealthy atmosphere, I would not like to be an employee in this restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I was at your restaurant on Saturday May 7, I will share with you my experience: We were given a seat in a small room and the waiter brought us the coffees but unfortunately he dropped the coffee on the table and on So I couldnt stand back and had all the coffee on me. Fortunately I was not burned but soaked. I understand that these things happen and the waiter kept apologizing. What I deplore is that someone could have come to see me and offered me compensation such as paying for my lunch or offering me a smoothie, even the manager never came to see me and in addition on our bill We were charged extra for bacon which was to be included in the menu. I left very disappointed and wanted to share my unfortunate experience with you.

On Mothers Day, we arrived at 10 a.m. and received our food at 12 p.m. Half the plates were cold. Very small portions and not at all like the photos. You could serve the toast at least when its this long. The children were sick.

Good morning!! We have been customers of this restaurant since the beginning and we have always had impeccable service. All the employees are extremely friendly and the food is very good. The fruits are well chosen on our plates which is not always the case in many lunch restaurants. The eggs are cooked to perfection. For my part, the lady with a French accent has always impressed me with her good service. She is very friendly and contributes greatly to a warm atmosphere in this place. I greatly congratulate you for having been able to maintain this despite the difficulties you have experienced with the pandemic and the recruitment challenges that all merchants are currently experiencing. I will never understand people who prefer to go through social networks to complain rather than calling the owner directly and discussing with him or her who is often not aware of these situations. I know they are doing their best and the staff turnover experienced since the pandemic does not help. We are all human! I thank you for still being here and for being so exceptional in the current context. Well done!!!

I know this chain well, Parconte visited me at his restaurant and it was not up to par. I had eggs benedict and the sauce was a little burnt, the eggs were overcooked (not runny) and their baked beans are the best in the world, except that I made the mistake of adding syrup and this is not the same as at other branches because it was really bad. I imagine this is not usual since they have a nice coastline. Sorry for this negative review

Wow...nice place clean fast and hot congratulations

On a Sunday at 1:00 p.m., the employee Sarah was simply a breath of fresh air! She came to undo the prejudice I was beginning to form that employees her age had no talent for customer service! Friendly, polite, super smiling, we loved her! The food was excellent, except for the slightly overcooked bagels which arrived cold and stiff, but all in all, an experience worth repeating! Well done!

Male waiter told me I didnt tell him in the middle of it. Following my written comment came to see me at my table. Male waiter slobbery and arrogant to the end, even told me I could leave with a big smile and even told me loud and clear I love you And like I told him he would need a life skills course. The manager should have taken this servers place after the first skirmish. Despite my really unpleasant lunch, the bill was of course presented to me. No tipping, there are limits to making people laugh at yourself.

This restaurant has become an accomplice of the government. He asks for the identity card. Why not the birth certificate. We, the residents of the area, were proud of the arrival of this business. We are totally disappointed with the approach to customers to have access to this business. Lamentable reception under the pretext of a law which is in fact a decree which was not voted for but written on the sly. We wont come back again. I inform my friends (family and acquaintances) so that they dont come back.
