LeSnack Poutines in Sherbrooke

Literally the best poutine of my life, I ordered La Cabane . The little maple sauce, rich, traditional, bacon. Normally I eat my poutine halfway but here it was so good I devoured it in 10 minutes. My ancestors would have wanted to taste this. I never do Google reviews but this was necessary. Good family atmosphere with a choice of 100+ poutines.

I was restricted from having regular poutine due to an allergy. The cashier was rude and curt.

The blonde waitress (boss?) is catastrophic. She responded vehemently when we told her that its operation is complicated for nothing: we were with 4 friends, you have to order then pay (even though we were not told), go get your water yourself- even, ... No customer service. Catastrophic. To flee.

Twice this year I went to pick up a poutine that I used to like to eat and both times I was disappointed... What was the idea of changing the julienne fries that were their brand?? and even if it was only that! I have the impression that the overall has dropped to the point that even the Valentine restaurant would be better... so for the price of an average poutine at $23 it was good there last time I go back. Big management problem and it is visibly deteriorating. I advise you to move on and find something better, you will thank me for it!

Best poutines I have eaten (extrovert poutine) I highly recommend the Crousti-Thai. She was excellent! The young blonde lady (I think the owner) was super nice, it was my first experience at this restaurant and she took the time to show me the result of the poutine I had chosen! And the super fine cook too!! He took the time to listen to the dietary restrictions and made us a custom order for the burger (also excellent).

We ate there three times this summer as a couple and with friends in 2023 and I have to give 2 stars for the excellent food that is to my review It was the best poutine in town in 2023 and the impeccable service and pleasant atmosphere. I wish Snack Poutine a long life. Unfortunately in 2024 everything has changed, these born no longer the same fries (McCain fries I think?) the sauce is not good nor bad it tastes like nothing) We will not return SORRY.

The fries were changed for super sheap fries and the service is still unpleasant, finished for me, I recommend the Snack Caméléon sector Mont-bellevue which has the same poutines but with our good old fries and a much better atmosphere

Generous and delicious portions!

I really loved this place until recently! The fries have changed. Before, it was succulent little fries. Now they are big, tasteless fries. I hope they go back to the original recipe one day!

The Fries have changed, its disappointing to receive your order (delivery) and see it when youre expecting a few specific things. The juliennes they served before made all the difference and made their poutine unique. This is no longer the case unfortunately The $$ cuts and not for the better

A change of fries for regular frozen fries which is very disappointing. Raw mushrooms in poutine. Good quantity, sauce ok, poutine passable, but no longer worth the detour like before. Disappointing service, feeling the pressure for people to eat quickly and leave (we arrived at 7:15 p.m., we were told that they closed at 8:00 p.m. and several people were told, in a really ordinary tone, moreover on Google says that they closed at 9:00 p.m....no website or even Facebook page where this information could have been untrue).

The customer service was exceptional, the portions generous and the prices affordable.

Several years ago, the snack bar offered one of the best poutines in Sherbrooke. After 3 orders recently, their fries were replaced with regular canteen fries and their meats and vegetables no longer seem as fresh. The meals are mediocre, but still edible if you dont have anything better to eat. However, I cannot recommend this restaurant with dignity.

I had my doubts when I saw the bad comments...I had been there several years ago. But I will go back again, the poutines are delicious and the welcome and great service. I recommend this place for your poutines.

Super good little snack. The choice of poutine is huge and the portions are generous. At the time of our visit, there was only one cook. We could see him working. The poor thing was in trouble, but he got through it. The restaurant is cramped. There is no place to store winter coats.

Its been twice that Ive come for poutine during opening hours (displayed on the door, which are actually not the same as on Google), and twice that its closed. Quite disappointing. In addition, poutines are expensive for the declining quality.

A great moment wasted by going to get a poutine from the snack bar. I was expecting to eat one of my favorite poutines, I loved the julienne fries and the poutine flavors that this place offers. Finally, the fries are no longer the same (grainy texture). In addition, the fries were not cooked enough. Two inedible poutines for $50, very disappointing!

Just WOW! Despite the fact that the place is small, the atmosphere is perfect!! The food is EXCELLENT! Great menu selection, A-1 quality, wonderful service! During our visit, it was the 2 owners who were there and let me tell you that they are just perfect! Friendly, welcoming, smiling, warm, funny, dynamic, in short, 2 beautiful people! Dont let go of Gen and David! Thank you for this beautiful moment! Its only a postponement! :-)

Really not good! Positive reviews are overrated. The poutine is not generous for the price, the fries are soft and thin. The sauce is oily. Besides, I dont understand how poutine sauce can be oily. The meat is extremely dry. Overall, Im really disappointed. I was expecting a restaurant offering quality poutines like the restaurant La banquise in Montreal. But no, not at all.

So, my wife and daughter showed up at the door last night at 6:45 p.m. with 4 friends, I was parking the car. They were told that there were no seats for us, even when a table became available in front of them. Last night we went there to eat with family. Very small place and without reservation so to eat on site, the chances are slim during peak hours. The take out option should be considered. What I wanted on the menu was taken off, but they were kind enough to make it for me anyway. It s a big plus that I loved! Almost 100 poutines on the menu! Wow!! And for poutines, this is THE place to go! Once again, congratulations for your customer service, many should take an example from you!

I went there regularly in 2021-2022, but since 2023 they have significantly reduced the portions and quality, while increasing the prices. So I advise against it!

A lack of respect as rarely seen, I am disrespectfully expelled from the entrance to the toilets because maybe we will have to pass with a bin of potatoes . The server then refuses to take my order. I had to present the entire order to a friend who then acted like a parrot because the waiter wouldnt listen to me. Are we in a restaurant or a nursery school? Shameful, to flee.

WOAW! I have never had such poor service in my ENTIRE life! The employees present dont say hello, they rush us to choose a meal, no possibility of sitting down because its for usual customers even though there is ABSOLUTELY no one there! The quantities and flavors are very disappointing for the price paid and the manager was quite disrespectful when I went there. I absolutely do not recommend a restaurant! I think that with so much disrespect this restaurant should close its doors!

They refused to give me a glass of water when I asked for one. So I had to pay for a $2.50 bottle of water. Not only is it not at all ecological, but it is also illegal!

I went for dining in on July 13th, 2023. The person who was taking my customized order was charging me for adding some ingredients. So, I decided to cancel and order something else. When I said, I wanna cancel that and order something else from the menu before even paying or they didnt even start making my Poutine, the gentlemen rudely said, thats the price and they cant change it. Forced me to pay for something I wasnt interested for. I politely said, sorry I dont want that and was walking out because he didnt want to change the order. He said, you are not the best customer. I wished him good luck and walked out. Hope my review will help others.

The waiter did not want to serve me, surely an offense on his part. Dont hesitate to go elsewhere and if the manager sees this comment dont hesitate to change the little server if you want to have customers.

I appreciate their poutines, but there are so many negative testimonials about the administration in place (stupid with certain types of customers, refusal of Uber Eats deliveries by bike, browse the reviews here for other examples), thats it. desolate. There is no shortage of good alternatives in Sherbrooke, for example Chez Louis or the surprising poutines at the King Hall.

Incomparable Putin yes, but dont move. After searching for several minutes and paying for a parking space, we were told that even if half the restaurant was empty and there was no one at the counter, we could not eat there due to lack of staff. Order online. Things have changed a lot!

Ive been going to the snack bar for 10 years. Last Sunday we had two medium poutine, it had penne fries to cover the bottom of the container. In the past I often didnt even finish the poutine. This time we not only finished the poutine but we ate something else at home because we were still hungry. I have nothing against paying $17 for poutine but this time its so frankly ordinary. .

I dont really know what happened to the cook/waiter (I suppose its the owner too?). He was trying to create trouble, his inappropriate comments came out of nowhere. We go in and he tells us to sit wherever we want. We spot a bench with a ticket written Reserved . Well we hesitated a little too long for his liking, he said something like Dont you understand when we talk to you? Where you want is where you want.. They just give us 1 menu for 3 people, then he gives more with more complaining later during our visit. When you have anger management problems its better not to work in the service. Also, we eat on site and receive styrofoam + plastic utensils. The poutine is decent, there are some of the best in town, I wont miss it again.

Restaurant employees/owners are trash with deliverymen. Tried to get me to cancel my orders because they couldnt prepare them in time, and when I didnt cancel, they tried to make me lose my job by complaining at Uber Eats. I was hesitant to come because I had seen many reviews saying that the service was very bad and well it turns out to be true. Move on, there are much better restaurants in Sherbrooke
