The lamb tajine with artichokes was truly excellent, the lamb succulent. The vegetables with the couscous were so tender. It reminded me of the tajines I'd eaten in Morocco and made me sad that I don't have a Moroccan restaurant like it where I live (not Montreal). More people should come and eat here. And don't be like the guy who got fries here, then gave the restaurant one star because they were soggy. Buy your fries at McDonald's, then buy real food at this restaurant.
Nice family style restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband had the olive tagine, i had the royal couscous. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, the price is quite reasonable. We were happy with the service we got. We will certainly come back.
I didn’t know anything about this company until my cousin sent me a link by email from France .I had a look and to be honest since then, I have been doing my purchases from them. I have had no issues till date and hopefully won’t in the future too.
I was ok with my choice of restaurant but my wife found the service to be ordinary. Other than that the food was excellent and great ambiance. Nice place to spend time with family, friends at a very reasonable price.
Nice place to have a dinner and spend time with family and friends. Meals were delicious and price was reasonable
Good food...missing a little touch to be true Moroccan tho...hadira soup usually has beaf cubes in it and more chickpeas in it, the pastila should have almonds in it...less fat on the chicken, both in the pastila and the tagine...but I'm cheating, my wife is Moroccan so I guess restaurant will never be like home cooked meal. Ambiance was great...true Moroccan artifacts everywhere. The servis was exreamly fast and prompt...we never waited we were saved rapidly and proper. I would recommend a try if you want a taste of Morocco, you will not find better around.
The food was very good. The service was very quick, but it was hard to get a hold of the waiter. I had to go fetch him in the kitchen to get mayo for the fries.
Very authentic Moroccan place, can't believe I only just learned about it. Excellent couscous, good vegetarian options. My lunch friend said the lamb tagine was phenomenal. Very reasonable prices. Will be going back.
Delicious food, a very gracious host! To discover!
Delicious meal, perfect service, great atmosphere with Moroccan music, present and attentive owner. Best mint tea! Its worth the detour!
Although the decor needs to be refreshed, the food is tasty and the owners obviously put their whole heart into it.
Good authentic food, very warm service, music and decor that takes you on a journey (there was Oum Kalthoum ) Vegetarian options: Vegetarian couscous, but check if its with chicken broth and if you can change it
Just despicable!
I have been there at least 4 times in the last few years. The quality of service is still impeccable. The meals are good and at a very good price. Small note: Perfect for an original first date
Excellent ! We love this restaurant. The food is excellent, the price is affordable, the service is friendly and fast. I recommend it 100% Vegetarian options: Among other things there is a vegetable couscous which is so tasty. Parking: Free parking is available behind the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Several great choices are available on the childrens menu.
The meal is delicious and the owners are adorable! Lots of humanity and warmth
Best restaurant in town, the lamb tagine with artichokes is excellent.
Excellent Moroccan food. Tagine, couscous, merguez made on site. Bring your own wine.
What more can I say.... merguez... homemade - succulent tagine - beautiful presentation of the dishes - quite charming.
Best Moroccan place
The best pork tagine I have ever eaten (seriously pork). Except that on the menu it s not obviously lamb. The Art of Getting a Bad Reputation as a Liar
Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service. No more expensive than anywhere else for outstanding service. To discover.
Ask for well-cooked beef skewers and arrive disgustingly rare
We love the food, the atmosphere and the service every time we go there!
The poutine tastes like grease, its bad like calise, the chicken lasts and the sauce falls on the heart
Delicious and welcoming!
Fast service, good portion. Excellent Same price as 2 years ago!
Very good, warm welcome and affordable price. We will come back with pleasure.
We loved the experience, Abdel Aziz was very welcoming and very helpful. Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food.
I will do like Bambi said.
Very good cuisine
Delicious! Really excellent lamb tagine! And the beef skewer with Moroccan spices! Yum! Really very good!
Good service, very welcoming owner
We feel like guests everything is good, the Tagines (we especially like the chicken with olives, the Pile Pile shrimp but everything is a good choice), the Couscous, everything is homemade and authentic, and not too spicy if youre not used to it (ask for harissa if needed!) The welcome, the smile, the mint tea and the perfectly reasonable prices are the little extras that make us come back often. Plus, the team seems happy to work together! It s a BYOB. Thank you for everything !
An elegant Moroccan Arab restaurant. It serves delicious Moroccan dishes such as couscous, tagine, bastila, and others. I recommend visiting it. There is no crowding.
A very wonderful Moroccan Arab restaurant. Its owner, Brother Abdulaziz, serves famous and delicious Moroccan dishes, such as couscous, tagine, batilla, and other appetizers.
I order a filet mignon I specify: white rice, and no spices on the fillet. Here comes the yellow rice, the filet mignon full of spices. In addition to the fact that the meat is full of tiraces, this is CLEARLY NOT a filet mignon.
I really liked their dishes
Order for my party.... A joy!!! So good!
Perfect
I ordered with Uber a lamb couscous and a balaclava and I received a beef couscous and chicken broth with my balaclava, the couscous had no flavor. The balaclava was probably some of the best Ive had, it seemed to be homemade. In their defense I ordered a few minutes before they closed but still they should have canceled the order instead of botching it, this is the last time I order from this place... The most disappointing thing is is that it was the first time I left a tip at a restaurant with Uber (in addition to the tip for the delivery person)
Food not as tasty as I hoped, questionable cleanliness. But friendly and fast service.
Very good service!
Soggy fries at 6$. They where right out of the microwave or something. Not great
Very nice welcome, always delicious hummmmmm
The salad was drowned in vinaigrette. there was no sauce with the skewers. the bread for the chicken tagine was not pita bread it looked like giant Ritz or Breton biscuits and was not good. the tagine was drowned in salt and dry chicken. Weve ordered the same thing before and it was so much better the first time. so this will be our last time.
The service and the meal simply delicious
For several years,,, excellent service,, excellent food at a very affordable price. Well done Mr.Aziz,,,,
Ive been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and I love it. The quality/price ratio is excellent and the owner very kind!
Excellent service. Magnificent atmosphere. Succulent meals
Very good I recommend excellent chicken
Very good! The lamb was great. Very good price for a period of hyper inflation. The waiter brings us the food while singing. Quality and price. Very rare.
Bad service and its not good at all.
Good service, very professional owner
Always good, always time-honored, a delight for several years
My lamb tagine with prunes was honestly absolutely delicious. Reasonable portions and very well prepared and good quality ingredients; the bread was excellent and the tea well balanced. We even took the time to answer questions I had about Morocco for my term paper! I might as well tell you that if I could leave a sixth star, well I would :)
Excellent! I recommend to everyone! Thanks chef for the service!
Just wow delicious tasty and the chef is super yummm
I love this restaurant. The owner and chef is really very nice. Children are welcome.
Excellent food! Good service. However, the opening hours do not match the website. Problem to be resolved quickly.
We went to the restaurant last night, 3 families with children, very warm welcome and excellent service. We were pampered to taste some really delicious Moroccan tagines. Tea and Moroccan cakes... The children were spoiled by the owner. A restaurant that I highly recommend. Many thanks for your hospitality.
Its a really great Moroccan restaurant, the best lamb Ive eaten in my entire life. The owner is generous with his words and shares his love of Morocco, I highly recommend him
Excellent, very good service
Dishes served, food, welcome, exchanges, atmosphere, everything is there, with friends we had an excellent time! Beautiful place to discover in Sherbrooke!
Correct service, found a bone in the boiled chicken, tasteless. Dsl, no positive comments so I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone worthy of the name . Really disappointed. Point point point...
A very good restaurant with affordable prices
The best Moroccan restaurant. The merguez sausages and fries are exceptional.
Ive been there several times, its always very good. Very friendly owner, who shares his authentic recipes!
Interesting. The owner is welcoming and friendly. Accessible place for people in wheelchairs.
A lonely place but with nature
Excellent. The couscous is very tasty (real vegetable broth) I had the price of the lamb tagine. Very good. The chef is Moroccan.
Delicious and reasonably priced
Too bad I didnt like the name of the restaurant more. The waiter would tell a mechanic (all my respects to the mechanics) in general service 00
The menu should be rethought
It wasnt lamb, or chicken, or beef... It looked Aram.
Very good service and very good food...thanks Aziz
I am absolutely charmed by this restaurant. Finally a foreign restaurant...really foreign. Its been a long time since Ive tasted a beautiful culinary difference as exquisite as at Aziz (thats the owners name, which I probably spelled wrong), he cooks and serves us after having of course advised us. A restaurant like this makes me sad not to live in Sherbrooke. And although the lamb tagine is perfectly succulent, I will come back as soon as possible to taste something else. Hurry!!!
Their pastilias are excellent
Good little restaurant but Ive already eaten better coucous! But not expensive and we can bring our own wine which is not negligible!
The lamb, couscous and shrimp are excellent. And good service.
Super ser
It is a restaurant that serves typical and delicious Moroccan cuisine. A warm welcome, a dedicated, friendly server. One of the best restaurants in Sherbrooke. I highly recommend!
Very small plates not generous, no accompaniment (hummus, pita bread, garlic sauce...) very small portion of filet mignon, ordinary salad bought in bags from maxi. Very bad experience for the first time
Thanks Aziz, great food
The lamb tagine is excellent
Great restaurant! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm.
Super good
Their lamb skewers are the best. But the fries are even better.
Super good atmosphere. Quiet and it reminded me of Morocco. I recommend
Great authentic food in the middle of Sherbrooke.
Personalized restaurant woww
Out of a group...We werent entitled to the regular menu. .choux restricted and price changed and I had the impression that it was on the rise.. On the other hand it was good!!
Its good, courteous service! However, the places lack maintenance
The starter cost nothing, I ordered lamb and I was served beef (charged for lamb) the bakhlavas cost the fridge and finally the service was mediocre. I dont like to make this kind of comment but it was a complete failure...
E xcellent!
It was really delicious! It wasnt the cleanest restaurant I saw though... But the lamb tagines were good and I recommend the pastilla starter!!
Great group experience with fast and courteous service. Not the kind of hassle service, it feels good! And what about the food! It was tasty from start to finish, the portions were very good. I recommend this establishment. (You just have to ignore the decor which is a little shabby)
Very good restaurant. The food is not expensive for what you get on your plate. The owner is very nice and puts on quite a show when he pours his tea. A must see!!!
We went there in a group of at least 15 people, we were well received and well served, above all we ate well and had a pleasant evening. the lamb was succulent.
Just wow! Everything was delicious (chicken, merguez, baklava) and impeccable service. I recommend.
Very good food, welcoming waiter, very good memory. Even if you dont go there often remembers your preferences
Good food, different then the rest of Sherbrooke restaurants. They are specialize in tajine.
Absolutely delicious! Wonderful restaurant!
What a great Mexican restaurant!
Family
Good restaurant. Good service. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Good boss.
Incredibly delicious food! Some of the best baklava that Ive had in Sherbrooke
Changing the hours without warning.
Very good
Excellent restaurant. Atmosphere leaves something to be desired, apart from the 2 tables next to the windows. Delicious food!
Excellent value for money. Welcoming and kind staff. I highly recommend it.
Excellent tagine
Very small plates for the price (table dhôte)
Good Moroccan food. Super good service. I like the oriental touch and they have it.
Excellent meal. Several choices of couscous and tagine. The lamb tagine melts in your mouth and the vegetable couscous is excellent. Very good service and very nice atmosphere. We will definitely go back there to travel again for a good meal.
Super bon
