What a nice place! The dishes offered are delicious and unique, the atmosphere is very warm and the prices super reasonable! I recommend it to all vegetarians and non-vegetarians who want to have a good time with friends or who want to study!

Quite an interesting atmosphere. Always good service and the food is delicious. I would say that what makes this establishment charming is the atmosphere and the different activities that take place there during the week. The employees are invested and very friendly.

Lors de notre visite, nous avons vue la serveuse déposer son pied sur la table de service (là ou il y a le sel, les bouteilles de sauce, les ustensiles ) afin de remettre son soulier. C est absolument pas une manière de faire en restauration. De plus, cette même personne nous a bien fait savoir qu elle n était pas contente de nous mettre le rabais étudiant. C est désolant.

Its a cafe with a nice atmosphere, mainly a student clientele. Works of art on the walls and the motley furniture give a beautiful atmosphere and change from the usual franchises for places to have lunch. Very friendly service, but not very fast, which suited us perfectly for a relaxed morning.

I dont count the number of visits because I consider myself a regular customer. It is highly recommended by me and my children love their Vegetarian and Vegan dishes despite their feeling of belonging to the Carnivore always pleasant atmosphere the employees are all gems and you can find a good peaceful time with yourself I bring Bouquin and colo and no disturbance we feel like at home. My favorite place in Sherbrooke. The atmosphere is excellent with unmistakable musical selection. The staff puts love into it and are constantly evolving. An essential choice for vegans/vegetarians from Sherbrooke or those passing through. Excellent workplace with WiFi which has recently been drastically improved. My only suggestions are to bring back chess nights, replace swing nights with salsa/bachata (because its objectively better) and add more healthy, protein-dense, no-fried, hearty meals.

The place to have lunch!!! It s always crowded but it s a big place a favorite for us who only went there twice. Its not over!!

This place stands out in my opinion for its warm atmosphere, its exquisite food (vegetable too!) and the smile of the people who work there, always very welcoming. It really feels like home. I also appreciate its range of varied and accessible cultural activities, whether dance evenings, philosophy evenings, conferences on various subjects or music shows which take place there on a regular basis. In short, a human place where there is the possibility of living nourishing experiences, in every sense of the word. ;) Keep up the good work, and... For Fathers Day, we decided to celebrate as a family with brunch at a new restaurant. We especially wanted to avoid the typical lunch restaurants which are always crowded. So our choice was at Café 440. But it was only when we arrived that we discovered that it was a vegetarian restaurant. At first I was afraid that my family would be disappointed, since they are used to more traditional dishes with meat. However, all my apprehensions were quickly dissipated. As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by a very smiling and kind young waitress. The quality of the food was a real revelation. The children, initially skeptical, loved their meals. We will come back, thats for sure. If youre still hesitant about trying a vegetarian restaurant, go for it you might be pleasantly surprised!

I have not eaten here before, but I do go to the dancing events on Tuesday night, and it is amazing.

Definetly worth discovering. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options compose most of their menu. Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating for dietary restrictions, e.g. gluten-free. Kid-friendliness: Children and toddler alike are welcome even for certain evening events. Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the forst floor and only one floor. Easy to navigate the common areas.

For a cafe, the atmosphere was much noisier than I would have liked. Otherwise, the food is good if you come for dinner. To my surprise. all options were vegan.

Always great to go to 440! I go there mainly for their varied offering of activities (dance, conferences, etc.). Its the place to make friends when youre no longer at school in Sherbrooke!

The places are spacious and pleasant. The menu is inspiring, but limited, especially if one has dietary restrictions. As for accessibility for people with reduced mobility, there is a step outside and I did not find an accessible bathroom.

I will say it simply, this place is like a land of exile where it is a refuge to escape, to abandon oneself in its hollow of infinite ground coffee, with its fleeting seconds, which are exhausted, and time, mute, which invents itself for an eternity. Entering Café 440 means setting foot in an oasis dedicated to music, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu contains vegetarian and vegan options, the coffee tastes heavenly and its located in the heart of Sherbrooke. Special mention to the thousand plants which adorn the place with its greenery!

Service was good, food was not the best. Potatoes were not cooked enough, seasoning was bland. Overall a bit tasteless. The environment was dark. Walls are black. We went for breakfast around 9-10am on Thursday.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of the center. (open and very accessible, even during the work and part of Wellington Street is closed). Attentive and cheerful service. Very tasty food and very hot to serve....wow! I recommend it because there are several themed evenings with music!

My partner and I ordered takeout from here, and it satisfied our hunger and taste very well. I ordered the shiitake chickn burger, which was vegan. My partner ordered the fishn chips burger; although, I am not sure if this was just vegetarian or it happened to be vegan. Both of our favourite parts were the fries! They were the best fries weve had in a very long time. Definitely would recommend this place solely for the fries!

I was very happy to find Café 440 after Google Maps had me going in circles in the October rain for 15 minutes. A smiling young man welcomed me and prepared me a hot chocolate to take away. I only removed a star because I would have liked to have been warned that they add cinnamon to their hot chocolate It really wasnt to my taste, I never found it to be good combo.

I love this place to go see music shows: the decor, the space, you feel good there! The staff is friendly. On the other hand, there is often confusion when it comes to paying the bill (dont really know what you took, if you paid for the show before or after, etc.) Otherwise, I recommend!

BIG drop in quality with the new menu, the prince of jazz no longer has any small potatoes or shiitake. The coconut disco had almost no garnish. The price is still reasonable, but the taste is neither.

The eggs benedict was delicious, lovely seasoning, and a dab of pesto. I was a bit worried because sometimes I dont like the texture of mushrooms, but the mushroom was sliced nice and thin which I love, and grilled to perfection. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. Im not a vegan or vegetarian but I would definitely go back and get the eggs benedict again (which says a lot because I love meat and especially bacon). The little salad that accompanied it was also delicious, tasted like a potentially homemade balsamic vinegar vinaigrette. The service was wonderful as well. Thanks! Vegetarian options: The menu is vegetarian or vegan but there is also fish on the lunch menu. A friend ordered that and said it was delicious. Parking: Wellington street is mostly blocked off right now due to construction. Gps told us to go down a one way street, and cars seemed to all be doing that despite a sign that indicated one way... perhaps we were mistaken to think the sign is in effect or maybe others know something we dont? In any case we parked down on depot street at the paid parking and walked over, which was a bit of a pain since one of our party has mobility issues. This is of course no fault of the restaurant but I do hope the accessibility improves sometime soon.

This restaurant has just opened its doors on Wellington Street North in a space adjacent to the Madame Pickwick boutique. The food, atmosphere and owners are great. I recommend to everyone for a hearty and affordable vegetarian lunch!

Warm and delicious experience! We were received as at home, with charming dishes. I took the a-capella egg plate, soft homemade bagel, poached egg, tasty pesto, béchamel sauce, nuts, fruits and seasoned hash browns. Really good and reasonable prices! Thank you Éthiène and Violette!

FINALLY, an affordable veggie/vegan place in Sherbs! This little café is so nice, and watatow it s so good! The menu is very simple, but there is something for everyone, and you cant go wrong with the classics. All dishes are vegetarian and almost all can be adapted into a vegan version (when they are not already vegan to begin with)!
