Chicking in Sherbrooke

I ordered a junior poutine, with dessert nuggets, and four chicken croquettes. I showed my student card for the student discount. I receive my invoice and then my order to see that 1. The discount was not given 2. We didnt have the dessert nuggets and 3. My croquettes smell like cigarettes. I couldnt believe it, it was such a distinct smell. When I called, they asked me if we were the ones smoking, if we came across someone smoking or if the smell was more because the kibbles were burnt. It would surprise me if the kibble in the cardboard box, under the poutine, in a cardboard bag, caught the very distinct smell in a gust of wind when I crossed the street, passed no one and I didnt dont smoke. That s disrespectful right there.

Very clean place with benches which offers a lot of privacy. Restaurant fairly quiet. Fast service. Breaded breast fillet and delicious and crispy wavy fries. 10% off with a student card!

$20 for poutine with dry fries. It must have been in the warmer for a long time and I was served this. Really disappointing.

Chefs Special is just a specific day and cannot be eaten on site!!! This is really stupid!!

Literally just cost me $42 to get to our house and have no mayo with my club sandwich and no cheese in my poutine.

UPDATE Again and ALWAYS disappointed. I stopped going there due to recurring errors in my order, this is the 3rd time I have gone back there and in 3 times, 2 errors! I always ask for extra cheese under fries in my poutine. Either I only have cheese under the fries or I dont have my extra at all...Of course, they charged for it, and when I call to complain, they offer to credit my extra cheese only. I cant believe this is just happening to me? Im starting to find it suspicious to charge extra cheese, but 1 time out of 2, I dont have it and another time, they put the sauce on the side when I didnt mention anything and the cashier didnt tell me didnt ask. Its only $0.50, but imagine how many customers they do it to... Its always the same, there are always mistakes and nothing changes. Either Im told that theyre sorry and cant do anything because the manager isnt there, or Im offered an extra cheese credit (it seems to me that a poutine credit wouldnt be too many after the number of complaints I made). I asked for a chicken poutine on the junior menu... the first time, as big as a small size from the regular menu! The second time, same dish, a little less filling and the third, I ended up with a small white cup sauce à side style . It s only going down. Paying $20 for a small Poutine as big as a cup of sauce on the side is almost exaggerated.

The food is very delicious, the attention is 10 and the food comes out quickly. The place is clean, both the living room and the bathrooms. Very nice atmosphere. The price is affordable, I will definitely return.

I hated my chefs choice meal. The chicken was beyond dry and its presentation left something to be desired. I felt like my order had been discarded. Yet another restaurant that has changed and its a real shame. For me it is to be avoided.

Very welcoming, courteous and efficient staff. I ate there. The meal was even served at my table. Everything was hot and delicious. Little tip: kindness attracts kindness. You should avoid being stupid and sullen with staff.

I would like to share my experience which was really disappointing with the chicking restaurant on King Est. To begin with, I went to dinner yesterday with my grandmother who has difficulty with the heat. We had taken take-out to start but she went out to check the temperature and came back to me telling me that she wouldnt feel good with the temperature. So I told him no problem we will eat inside with the air conditioning understanding the need to stay cool. Barely 2 minutes later, the waitress came to tell us that it was not possible to eat inside with our meals. However, my grandmother does not tolerate the heat and initially she thought she could. In addition, we support the restaurant by buying their food and we are forbidden from eating under their roof. I find the waitress incomprehension of the situation disappointing. It will be my pleasure to share with those around me the facts and my personal experiences with the banner.

Something was still missing... over the last 2 months, twice I was missing one burger out of two and this evening its the Poutine sauce thats missing

Seriously, I have been a customer for several years and 5 of the 6 last orders placed there are errors this evening two extras that I paid and I dont have the chance to eat tk its the last time for me

Extremely long delivery 90 minutes and even more. Additional costs for deliveries and even refusals of delivery. No respect for long-term customers.

I went to get 2 chefs choices, it was 7 p.m. The chicken was dry we threw away about half of our chicken. I think at that time we had reheated chicken from dinner. Really disappointed, that s the end of evening chicking for me.

I asked for fried chicken and they sold me chicken nuggets at an exorbitant price that I could easily have gotten at the grocery store for 1/3 of the price, on top of that the breading was bland and tasteless to believe that he only uses flour really disappointing first and last time I frequent this establishment

I really liked the cashier she made me feel comfortable like there was no rush, I absolutely loved the staff! The food was superb too, and its affordable, plus the student discount!

I never waited 1h10 for a delivery that arrived cold, salad of choice not really good, I threw it away, white meat club sandwich really disappointing seriously though, its not complicated food. I give 2* for being generous, I dont recommend it. I prefer to order from St-Hubert

This Sherbrooke grilled chicken restaurant chain far surpasses the Montreal chain of the same type and its competitor on Camirand Street. Chicking has nothing to do with St-Hubert. The portions of the former are more generous. The quality is also there. The fries are crispy, the chicken is quite hearty and the coleslaw is excellent. In addition, we are allowed to save via the detachable discount coupon on the box flap. In short, as the English say Chicking is the King of Chicken in Sherbrooke.

The food is good but almost two hours of waiting for a quarter leg. Its way too long. And the chicken arrived uncooked. It would be better to say this dinner because of the lack of staff we cannot deliver. Tse two hours of waiting for uncooked chicken is not good customer service. After an hour of waiting we should be offered our free order.

Then, YES it is truly one of the Worst Delivery Times known to date; promise of Delivery within 20mins by a charming young woman, then 40mins later another treats you like dirt...the problem comes not only from the time, but from the way of being sent back in the face that no commercial gesture will be made with more than 1:05 (I am 10mins MAX, by car, from you...) otherwise if I refuse my order there will be Serious repercussions... We order a poutine on this Wednesday evening, January 22, the delivery man arrives within a reasonable time but realizes that he forgot the interactive machine... He says that he is going to go back and pick it up at the restaurant when he leaves with my poutine... J So I called to make sure he makes it again because I dont want a cold poutine but in the meantime the kitchen has closed. The girl on the phone told me almost as if it were my fault: Im closed, I dont understand why he didnt leave you the poutine and I dont see how you want me to make it again for you, my kitchen is closed ??? I dont know what to say to you, so I just respond, speechless: ah thats great, thank you, have a good evening! to finally wait for the delivery man for more than half an hour before realizing that he would never come back. Too bad your poutine is the best but I dont really want to order from you anymore...

Le menu est plutot varié, la bouffe est bonne mais les prix sont asser élevés en livraison surtout, Le site web version mobile est très mal concue, une vraie plaie quand tu essais de voir le menu car le foutu bouton des coupons ne cesse de prendre la place du menu avec les 2 petites flêches à gauche et à droite.... Place à lamélioration...

Honestly, they would need an online ordering service or to do business with Uber Eats. My last 3 orders were really lousy including my ribs which were burnt.... I dont mind paying the price when its good but when its not.... The price suddenly becomes way too expensive again . Very unfortunate because it was always good before.
