We went to the restaurant during Sherbrooke set your table. The service was very slow because the restaurant was crowded (tables pushed together and added to accommodate far too many customers). It was so hot that it was difficult to enjoy dinner... a $200 dinner which was very ordinary... cold food, bisque way too salty, frozen lobster... in short, very disappointed with my experience... I remember that at the beginning I really liked this restaurant, but my last two visits were a big negative

I love this restaurant, I go there every 2 or 3 weeks. Really delicious and the atmosphere is super warm. Yesterday we went with work colleagues with a bill for more than $300 and at 10:22 p.m. we were told that we had to leave at 10:30 p.m. max. I understand that your closing time is 10:30 p.m. but I was still disappointed with the expeditious way of doing things.

Its good but not worth the price. This is not exceptional.

Probably the best restaurant in town. Dishes that you wont find anywhere else in Sherbrooke! Only downside: its very (too) noisy (like all restaurants in Quebec, people speak too loudly, its a habit)

The lobster bisque was slightly too salty. The 3 starters were very good but unfortunately, they were all cold when they arrived COCONUT CURRY SHRIMP PHYLLI & SHARP CHEDDAR FRIED BALL GLAZED RIBS We enjoyed our 3 main meals, but they were Sherbrooke met la table so the menu was very limited. Dessert included regular Good value for money with BYOB

Im usually disappointed when I go out to eat, because all the dishes are always too spicy for my taste. But that was not the case, on the contrary I was very surprised by @Chezsoi! I will definitely come back!

What a beautiful dinner and great atmosphere on a covered and heated terrace. Very attentive and courteous staff. Very good and original food. $57 for a 3-course table d hôte and the plates are generous. I recommend! Thanks to Marilou for the excellent service, we felt at home!

Tuesday July 23, 2024...Soup of the moment very good...Starter of goat cheese and beetroot mousse very good...Cauliflower starter, the sauce very good, the breaded cauliflowers, looks like pogo breading , mine are better. Main course of scallops, overcooked risotto very mushy I would have liked a little extra vegetable, it was served to me in a broken dish 2 large shards of a large inch each were missing, plus the waitress had seen them but Served it to me anyway. Main course duo square of deer and duck confit, no tenderness both very hard, the deer was burnt the vegetables were good. Bill of 152.92 + tip. I still left 18% tip because times are tough for everyone. We will not go back

Rack of deer and confit duck very hard and burnt...scallop served in a broken dish, 2 large shards were missing the waitress had seen it and served it anyway, without vegetables with very mushy overcooked risotto.

Wow, excellent food and service

Cozy atmosphere, dynamic and pleasant service. Good refined dishes, generous portions, well presented plates. For gourmands, I recommend La Grande Finale to end the meal in style. The caramel and fleur de sel cheesecake is sublime!! Bring your own wine restaurant. Slightly high prices which correspond well to the quality of the work carried out by the brigade in the kitchen as well as the quality of the ingredients. I will definitely go back!

We were a group of around 35 people. Does this explain the fact that I had an overcooked salmon steak, therefore very dry, overcooked vegetables and overcooked baby potatoes too. I was disappointed with the experience for a dish that cost a lot :(

My husband and I went to eat a few days ago. I chose the land and sea plate and the shrimp were cooked perfectly, it was truly delicious. My husband chose the lamb and the cooking was excellent, it was tender and delicious. The service was impeccable. We loved our experience.

Extremely disappointed! I have some allergies so I mentioned making myself some plain salmon. They all forgot about me first and then brought the salmon dish. I thought it was superb until I cut my salmon which was totally RAW!!! So I didnt get to eat anything all evening. Still disappointed to receive service like this. The only point they made is that they didnt charge me anything but I didnt even receive a gift card or other compensation.

I went there with my whole family to celebrate my mothers birthday. I was really disappointed with the service. They even forgot to arrive with the candle on my mothers cake even though we had planned it. They also forgot to serve certain coffees at the end of the meal. Very disappointed not to have been able to celebrate properly with my mother as a family.

15 months ago, I had dinner at Comme chez soi on the recommendation of one of my brothers and had chosen the fresh and smoked salmon tartare which was simply delicious, soft and melting in the mouth, almost like sashimi of which I am a great fan. This January 4, 2024, I had reserved for my family and a friend to introduce them to this restaurant. Our friend and my partner had the duck confit and really liked it! My daughters had the flank steak (medium) and the pork mignon (medium), I for my part had the fresh and smoked salmon tartare. The flank steak was too thick and too bloody; As for the pork loin, my other daughter didnt like the cooking and tenderness; she told me that I cooked pork tenderloin much better than that! For my part, the tartare seemed to contain canned salmon! Really not the texture of salmon (fresh or smoked) eaten 15 months ago! At the end of the meal, I ordered a cappuccino which was tasteless to say the least! We were very disappointed! Two stars for the duck confit! Thats it!

Not even a hello, well be with you in a few moments . and what about decorom, I invite you to take a look at the mirror that surrounds you. Disappointment after disappointment.

Nice place, professional employees, well presented dish. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. It was cold and the pasta dish was dry linguine. However, I was expecting fresh pasta.

We love this restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff friendly. The only slight drawback is the space between the tables which is very limited. But that doesnt stop us from going back. Enjoy your food!

Superb discovery, always fun to bring your own wine especially when the quality of the food matches the good bottles you bring. A thank you to Amélia who accompanied us and gave us good advice throughout the evening. So what did we eat? The lobster bisque with the shellfish was succulent. I had the beet starter with goat cheese which lived up to my expectations. And what about the main meal, the special with duck and lamb... Wow! I have never had lamb so tender and perfectly prepared. We will definitely be going back there.

It was delicious! I had a nice piece of flank steak for the price, the vegetables varied and very good. The pepper sauce was exquisite! My partner loved the lobster and shellfish bisque. The shank a little dry, but still delicious. The mussels with blue cheese, cream and wine were good and generous portion. We will go back without hesitation, lots of great things to try on the fairly varied menu. Alcohol-free! Bring your wine 19% and less. We were a little disappointed but there were some nice alternatives for non-alcoholic cocktails/beers Its true that the restaurant is rather small but warm and pleasant Very friendly staff and impeccable service

Disgusting. I am not difficult by nature, but have good sense. I had a salmon tartare. They looked like lousy pieces of salmon in the water. No seasoning, no vegetables, no taste. What about the salad? She was sad. The waitress told me to see you next time at the end of the meal. No thank you maam, Ill pass!

We were disappointed on all levels: ordinary atmosphere, adequate service but without little touches, and the dishes were good but always imperfect. The arancini were lukewarm, the filet mignon was not cooked properly and the lobster tail tasted burnt. The lobster mussels were good that said and we had a very nice server, but in a rush and thats why I think we had service lacking a little attention. Order the mussels, it s clearly their specialty!

Very good restaurant there are several interesting choices and the value for money is good It s a bring your own wine * on the other hand I prefer the atmosphere of the one in Magog!

Jai toujours aimé lendroit et la cuisine de cet endroit, mais mon dernier take out était très, très décevant. Des pâtes aux pétoncles avec 3 pétoncles et 3 crevettes, trop dune sauce trop épaisse et peu intéressante et plus de la moitié de lassiette en légumes du jardin encore un peu trop dans le jardin. Pour le prix payé, vrais regrets.

We went there as part of Sherbrooke sets the table! The menu was super good, everyone loved it, we had a corner just for us since there were 8 of us. And the service was good too! The food was delicious, it was worth it!

It really feels like home, just putting your feet under the table doesnt allow you to have food. After 45 minutes of waiting without anyone coming to take our order, despite our repeated requests towards the end, we decided to leave which did not bother the staff who looked at us without reacting. So they should expand the concept of bring your own wine with bring your own food .

Beautiful place, decor and pleasant and calm atmosphere. Excellent traditional cuisine. We enjoyed it. The only negative point is that the mocktails are not made on site, they are canned products. But its a detail, all in all, we are satisfied with our evening.

We ordered take-out meals for a group of over 45 people on a Saturday evening and the manager was great, despite the late additions of meals!!! Everything was ready when we arrived and with the exception of one meal (which is completely legitimate for the quantity of meal ordered), everything was there. People really enjoyed their meal. When we arrived, the welcome was cold. We had a reservation and were seated in the outdoor terrace covered and heated by torches. The heat was just unpleasant. I have an allergy to black which doesnt bother our waitress at all (Im not asking to change the menu but just to be careful). I ordered the flank steak with blue cheese and it was good. Several of my friends ordered the starter trio. The chef decided to substitute the beef tartare for a shrimp tempura without telling anyone. Someone at our table was allergic to shrimp. Finally everything is back to normal. In short, very average service. Several other good restaurants in Sherbrooke serve better dishes, at equal or lower prices by offering bring-your-own-wine and excellent service (e.g. Brussels sprouts)

The restaurant like home lives up to its name for the warm welcome and impeccable service. The place seems small at first glance, but the beautiful four-season terraces at the front greatly enlarge the space. For food, its much more impressive than what most amateur cooks would be able to produce at home! We leave home to experience gastronomy. The dishes are varied, with something for all tastes. The meat is cooked just right with simple and delicious accompaniments.

A little too expensive

Im not a fan of the $26 starting price, or choosing from the 3 categories. There were pretty good options, so its not unreasonable, but dont go unless your hungry and want to spend the money on a full 3 corse meal.

We were a group for my friends party and the main meals were so salty. Me and my partner found the meal very salty, very disappointed and it is certain that it was the first and last time we go there. The waitress took just $10.00 off our bills. It wasnt the waitresss fault. Very good service. Its easier to add salt to the table than to receive a meal that you feel like youre eating only salt especially when the meal is $50.00. Soup, starter and dessert no.1.

Super good!! We participated in the Sherbrooke met la table 2022 event and the menu was excellent! The risotto was delicious, made with cheese from the Station and the beef from a local butcher shop was so tender!! Without forgetting the grilled Halloumi cheese with pecans and fig reduction. Just Wow!

We went while Sherbrooke sets the table. Despite a certain quality of the dishes, a little something was missing that justified the prices of the dishes. The tartare starter was excellent, the meat tasty and well spiced with a touch of intense acidity. The main meal was pork cheek in Whiskey BBQ sauce. The meat was good, but the sauce was quite disappointing with a taste that I could describe as commercial. The side potatoes were okay, but the root vegetables were simply steamed with a few spices on top without any butter. Finally, the service is disappointing for this type of restaurant. (Too fast between services)

I went on a Tuesday evening for dinner with friends. Excellent service, excellent meal. Affordable table dhôte price. The entire main course menu can be transformed into a table dhôte for an additional $15. The duo soup (vegetables/parmentier) was excellent, very hot. A starter of gratinated garlic flower mushrooms. Hot Carbonara pasta, the flavor was excellent. I think it is better to reserve your place since it was very busy for a weekday evening. I recommend this restaurant without any hesitation. It was not my first visit and the consistency in the quality served seems respected to me! Thank you for this very pleasant moment. Vegetarian options: Soup option, meatless starters, vegetable pasta and much more! Parking: Rather limited behind the restaurant, you have to find it nearby during large crowds.

I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was impeccable. I ate well. On the other hand, I am disappointed by the lack of variety of vegetarian choices. I was only able to have a choice of pasta as it was the only option. They were very good, but I would have liked to have had a choice on my plate.

What a great discovery! The St-Benoot fondant is a must, as is the duck poutine. It reminds me of the one there was at Cartier before it closed, but with more cheese and duck! Thank you for the quality and exceptional service!
