YUM! My boyfriend and I LOVED our experience at Vintage 5080. The service was excellent, the decor striking and what can I say about the food! All products come from local producers or are made on site. We tried the Greek chicken burger and the Obélix poutine, and we savored every bite of both dishes. We are already looking forward to our next visit, to try other meals... And treat ourselves to a milkshake! We highly recommend

Cozy and friendly, this small restaurant welcomes us with warm and cheerful staff and immerses us in a remarkably successful retro style and atmosphere. I tip my hat to the magnificent selection of Quebec products and finally - of course - to the original menu. There we find, among other things, Burgers, Poutines and Milkshakes which give us the impression of taking a little trip back in time! We delight and appreciate the experience, and the presentation (especially the milkshakes) is very pretty and delicious! Finally, the price is very good for what you come to consume. Thank you to the attentive staff who chatted with us and who offered us a service far from what has become the norm; that is to say, to get out of our daily lives a little and to dream a little, and in any case, to serve us with a real, authentic smile.

We loved the look and ambiance. The owner is very attentive. She chose our seats based on my requests. She is passionate and it shows! A pride in having local products and a family history. The menu is very interesting. I would have had a little more cheese in my Obélix poutine because I like to have it until the end but the sauce was delicious. Pears in your poutine is a yes! Its true that the bison meatball is a little thin in proportion to the bread so it allows you to enjoy the taste less, but everyone was very satisfied with their dish. Milkshakes are as tempting to the eyes as they are to the palate. Fish fillet with perfect, non-greasy breading. Extra crispy onion rings. With a talented singer we spent a great Saturday evening as a family.

Im not the type to give bad reviews but unfortunately I didnt have a good experience, a huge delay before having service, once received the food, it was cold and elements of the Plate was not properly cooked, accompaniments were missing. Reserved for a group of 30. Warm welcome, super flexible. The organization and communication with the owners was #1. They offered us a brunch plate format for everyone, it was perfect! We will go back to taste the regular menu for sure!

Great restaurant to eat homemade fast football. The retro atmosphere is super nice. Its a family business and the owner is really kind and dedicated. She is keen to cook with local products and takes the time to explain where her products come from if you have any questions. She even has a vegetarian and a vegan burger. The milkshakes looked decadent although we didn t taste them because we weren t hungry anymore. The places are clean.

Pleasantly surprised by my experience. Great concern to cook local products. The staff is welcoming. The wild boar burger I ordered was incredibly tasty. I m definitely going to go back to try more on the menu!

The exterior of the luxury fast food restaurant is pretty and remarkable, however it can be difficult to get into the parking lot the first time, plus there isnt much room. the welcome is very warm, the chairs are comfortable and there is a wide selection of drinks behind the counter. there is wifi to access the menu on your phone and also regular menus, in short everything that may be necessary. we were served quickly, the owner was really nice and welcoming. In short, the service is very good. the vintage smash burger is really tasty and the honey mustard delicious. the dishes served are original and tasty. the decoration is truly unique in the heart of todays restaurants and their terrace is magnificent. To sum up, we ate very well, received good service and will definitely return there as well as recommended Le Vintage 5080 Frankly, the comments are one star, force yourself to do so! your words dont make sense

Weve been wanting to try the restaurant for a long time. Despite the presence of a large group, we were given a quiet place and the quality of service was never affected. The menu is original and varied and the quality of the ingredients is there. The owner came to ensure our satisfaction and the other customers. I can say that it was one of the best experiences I have had in a time where covid and lack of staff are used too often to excuse mediocrity. I will come back again with friends and family.

Karaoke evening, it was very busy and some bugs in the service (no napkins, no utensils, ...). The water glasses/mason jars tasted sweet (same glasses used for dessert milkshakes?). The food was ordinary at best: the burgers had no condiments and were particularly bland. Out of 7 people, only one enjoyed their burger. The poutine was not appreciated either: the fries and the sauce tasted burnt and the cheese was peculiar: it looked like shredded fresh mozzarella rather than cheese curds, both in terms of taste and texture. We will unfortunately not return, I would have liked to!

I would like to point out that this review is based on a group menu. We clearly didnt like the food. A table d hôte menu for $35 but adding up the individual prices comes to between $30-37! But beyond the price, the taste was clearly not there, despite the fact that I had no expectations. However, I would like to highlight the exceptional service and atmosphere we had. From the manager to the waiter Dan who went beyond our expectations! Ill leave it to you to make your own opinion with the regular menu.

We were a big group of 30 people celebrating a birthday and we couldnt have asked for a better location! The staff is warm and attentive, the atmosphere is joyful and festive, the food excellent (we had vegetarians and some food intolerances whose needs were respected). There were young children, teenagers, adults: the places are perfectly suited for everyone - with the Pacman game, some tables apart and places near the bar. I recommend!

I recommend especially for people who love potatoes. Next for main course, the Bronto Cheeseburger Flintstone. The burger is the best Ive eaten! Honestly the ones I thought were good are nothing compared to this one. The meat is juicy and the mayonnaise is so good, everything goes well together, a masterpiece! The fries were served, with my choice of honey mustards. The sauce is sweet and it is not an aggressive mustard. The milkshake is balanced, I was afraid it would be too sweet but no! Dont waste your time, money and energy defending yourself from poor service... Every part was scandalous. With the rudeness and poor service they gave as well as the horrible quality of the food, we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Which was not possible because they tried to rip us off on the bill. . . I had to defend the price in the menu, which is also very poorly presented and confusing. Overall the service was incompetent. About the food, it didnt look like the pictures, and I couldnt even continue after tasting it. We decided to order drinks after a while, 2 for 1 they said, which was not the case when billing. We came for lunch and we loved it. The Pitoune plate allowed us to taste several local products that they feature on their plates. It was delicious and we ate more than our fill. We will definitely return, thank you!

For a first experience, I found this correct. 5/5 for the decor, I really liked it. 1/5 for parking, very problematic, there is none. 4/5 good service, have come to see us too often to see if everything is ok. Otherwise, very friendly staff and answered our questions well. 4/5 menu quite varied and I love it, lots of choice perfect for us to come back and try other things. The fries are excellent. Suggestion: bringing cinematic themes to the menu or cocktail would be a plus. Despite my 3/5, I still returned to Vintage 5080 because I am convinced that there is room for improvement and this type of restaurant could become a Sherbrooke phenomenon with some improvements. I wish you good luck and above all dont give up, it is by making mistakes that we learn and improve.

A great discovery, a step back in time, beautiful retro restaurant, ultra friendly owner, concern for local products with a very high percentage on the menu, fries in peanut oil = a delight, our first visit but certainly not our last, we enjoyed it, we were missing a restaurant like this in Sherbrooke, trying it is adopting it! Courteous staff, we didnt taste the milkshakes but I heard good comments from my table neighbors, food-wise its not amazing but OK. Note that frying (which is a large part of the menu) is done in peanut oil and peanuts are present for the preparation of certain milkshakes.

The decor is great and what can I say about the meal... Simply perfect!!!! Whether it be the meat, the burger bread, the drinks and the desserts, we enjoyed ourselves!!! The quantities are perfect. And the very warm welcome. We will return there with great pleasure and desire. Kid-friendliness: Our two daughters aged 12 and 16 loved the meal and the decor.

Fish and chips are the best!

Beautiful warm place, well decorated and inclusive. The owner takes the time to come and see if everything is to our liking and to chat with us. My boyfriend and I have a crush on the mac n cheese burger to die for. If something is not on the menu and has sales potential, we can always suggest it and have a surprise on the next visit (who knows !). We also appreciated the use of local products in the preparation of meals, as well as the gender-neutral bathrooms. See you next time!

Vintage Restaurant 5080 For real!!! I recommend this restaurant to Great service, the food is disgusting and the majority of the food is homemade and local, WE LOVE IT!! The staff is friendly and what can we say about the decor and the music.. The milkshakes are the Marilyn Monroe and the other is the Joe Louis, also homemade. Great evening with my friend. However that evening there was entertainment with a singer who did Elvis (we werent aware of it). The performance was very good but please turn down the sound the next time there is nothing more unpleasant than not being able to communicate with those around you that evening the people accompanying you or the people working on site. This is really the big negative point of this evening. Apart from that the food was very good and the service impeccable despite the various techniques to try to make yourself understood.

ordinary service, food tastes like nothing, full fat hot dog bun, sausage tastes like nothing, old cheese curds, watery poutine sauce, fries taste like old, the slices just taste like fried food, the tables are dirty, theres milk shake by land no one cleans, much much too expensive Response to you dear owner of the Vintage 5080, instead of being on the defensive and from there giving me a covid diagnosis and that I have lost my taste, any good restaurateur would take my comment positively and try to improve his restaurant, when I say who had a milkshake on the floor and that the 2 tables were dirty, Im not making this up and this the whole time we were there and you had plenty of time to clean...... your cheese curds there were yellow so old, fresh daily on Sunday, that was not the case!!!!, and the pea soup had no peas..... its not stuffing.... .. and Im not the only one to say that!!!!! it doesnt taste like anything..... we couldnt wait to go to your restaurant, it cost us $70!!! Your way of responding to people, in all opinions, its never your fault but your customers fault..... WOW!!!!! Hello again When its good I say it in person and your TV was closed so no excuses and seeing your sloppy attitude its really unprofessional of you, a customer is always right and you seem to think the opposite and I too have read all your answers and its not very pretty apart from the 5 Stars who are most likely your friends and dont worry we will disturb you and all our friends will do the same

First visit this morning and I loved it! I felt like Marty McFly in 1955!! I had a lot of fun and had a great time. The meal was delicious, tasted like home. Next visit will be dinner!! Where we are going, there is no road! Doc Emmet Brown ... Bravo a thousand times for your restaurant!

We really enjoyed our first experience at this restaurant! We went there for a late dinner. The food is good quality, we ate everything! The children loved the atmosphere! The service was fast and the owner very nice. A little suggestion: add a small children s menu to your menu

It was simply perfect! If I could give 10 stars, I would without hesitation. The food was extremely good and original, it was different from other restaurants. The waitress/owner was very friendly and cheerful, she gave us excellent service. They have a PAC Man arcade game and you can play it for free, there is also a very good atmosphere with various music from the 50s to 80s. Ive been looking forward to going back ever since. Its well worth the detour, I recommend it 100%.

Wow, what a great discovery this evening! The food was good because it was local and homemade...above all, you absolutely have to try their onion rings which are exceptional!

The place is completely charming. With flavors from the roaring 50s, this restaurant is a real success with its food which brings back memories. They use regional foods and you can taste it! The flavors, colors and textures are fantastic! I recommend it to you. Disclaimers be careful: this is not the flat brown sauce poutine from regular poutiniers in Quebec! So dont expect that taste here. On the other hand, with a little open mind I guarantee that it tastes sensational! What a beautiful and good restaurant! Were going to come back! Ill leave you, Im going to enjoy my dirty dessert... the Joe Louis milkshake! Yum

Poutine big Matt, price too expensive, excellent fries, the poutine has no taste, a bit of pickles, not enough thousand island sauce, useless sesame seeds so no for me.

I was amazed by this restaurant. Although the restaurant is not large, the menu itself will make you want to come back because the different dishes will give you a hard time knowing what to choose. There were 12 of us celebrating a birthday and everyone was delighted with their choices. I cant wait to go back P.S: the quality/price ratio is excellent

It was by pure chance that we found ourselves in this adorable little vintage restaurant! And what a surprise! I ate the best club sandwich EVER. The welcome from the owners is warm and family-friendly, the food is quality and local. In short, we were pleasantly surprised by this unusual little restaurant.

For lunch, I tried the Breakfast Club sandwich. And at another time for dinner, the El p tit Matte hamburger. Both meals were delicious! Everything was good, from the sandwiches to the breakfast potatoes and fries. And its really nice to know that the vast majority of their ingredients, if not all, come from local producers. Service was ultra slow and was not that busy . Waited like a good 1.5hrs before we got food. They give you a tablet for the menu but it locks itself and since service was slow could not get it to unlock, the menu off a cellphone is completly out of wack. Many items on the menu was unavailable but only mentionned after you get your expectation risen up from the description then its written at the end . Just remove the item off the list !!! Its a digital menu , adjust accordingly! You see the jukebox often in the menu or add but its just a prop . Food is good . The emphasis on local product is high but the results are ok . But the prices are matched with the burgers across the road. This place could be so much more, if the front staff could be in the same attire vintage style that would definitely bring the vibe up a big step. Get a real working jukebox , more neon !!

Everything was perfect! We love vintage/retro, good dinner food and local products, we were served! Generous portions, no more room for the milkshake, so youll have to come back ;-) Very nice exchange with the owner too. Success and long life to this beautiful address!

Im NippleSalads and this is my favorite restaurant on the citadel.

We booked for two, the person was very friendly. The very bright lighting unsettled us a little. The prices were fair. The fries are excellent. I ate a very very ordinary hamburger, two meatballs with a sauce that didnt taste much, in short it lacked a bit of punch. The person who accompanied me was also disappointed by his veggie burger. I gave one more star for the more than friendly staff. I dont think Ill go back there. Vegetarian options: Some burgers are veggie and for some others we offer the option to transform them into veggie. Parking: A little difficult to access due to a steep slope. My car was touching the ground when I arrived. Be careful if your car is very low, encourage street parking if you can find it.

Very good courteous services. The food for the price you pay is not up to par. For a $71 dinner I find it exaggerated for 2 meals of hamburgers and a hot dog meal with 2 milkshakes. The decor of the restaurant is very beautiful and it takes you back to the 60s Parking: Approximately 6 places

Very good fast food restaurant. The prices are correct if you take into account that they are local ingredients. Good portion. Choice of several types of mayo. They recreated the decor from the 50s to the 80s but certain elements offended me. During my visit during dinner time, it was more of a sports cage atmosphere. The flat screen TV on the wall, the large wall-mounted air conditioning (probably practical in summer) and the tablet menu are not from the good times. I was expecting more music from a juke box, paper menus and to recreate those years, waitresses in uniform. Overall, I enjoyed the meal.
