Always professional staff. Uniforms are always clean. Dining room is always clean. Staff is attentive to your needs. Food is really good, very consistent. Highly recommend for amazing comfort food.
The staff were very nice and even helped us take our food upstairs, where there was a great view.
The food is better than my expectation. For service, there were two cashier counters for ordering food. But the cashier allowed the person behind me to jump the queue and order food first. Why? The restaurant is a bit too old.
Visited from Virginia and met with a friend who is Québecois, telling me the poutine here is the best you can get. It certainly lived up to the expectation! I unfortunately do not speak French well, but the servers were very accommodating being bilingual, which as a foreigner I did not expect! Fantastic poutine and service, will go back here when I visit again!
Amazing service, servers and cooks are very kind and organized! There is a good selection of food, with different meals in the morning (8:00 - 11:00) to afterhand. Two floors to eat on and there are normally plenty of good spots to sit.
I have never had fries drenched in gravey and cheese curds. Holy cow was this amazing and a must try if you are visiting Canada. And be prepared, this was just a small! They give you lots of food!
Tasty food. We had traditional poutine, max Louis burger and smoked meat. Burger is juicy and tasty. Curd cheese is so fresh on poutine. And smoked meat is just unbelievable. And on top of that, covid protocol has been practicing carefully.
Louis’ is to Sherbrooke what In & Out is to LA. These fast-food joints are clean and well organized; quality stuff that is actually served quicker than a McDonald’s frozen patty. The homemade pogo is worth the try with the sweet mustard sauce.

I made an expiry to come to the opening and there were 2 couples with 4 children. We thought we were in MC Donalds game room. Last time I just spent $20 to have my ears blown off at 8 a.m. The service and food were really good but I forgot to hurry up due to the very loud noise and disrespectful parents who bring young children to lunch restaurants without learning silence at that time. Personally, children dont bother me, but the constant noise does.
Frankly disgusting....steamed hot dog in a wet toasted bun and poutine that doesnt drip anything, tasteless...plus you have to wait 30 minutes for that.... score 0/10, too expensive too. ...

If you feel like eating poutine, the Louis restaurant is a must! The service is always with a smile and the food is incredible, never disappointed! I give it a 4 out of 5 for the atmosphere, because if you decide to go there during rush hour (lunch and dinner) there are a lot of people, which makes you feel more crowded, you have to often wait standing. But overall, its a very good restaurant!!
Still so good Vegetarian options: According to my friend, the veggie burger is very good. Parking: Parking still quite large but in busier times we sometimes run out of space, but still possible to park on the street.
I do not recommend it at all, first time I come, the fries were all burnt and cold. I ordered a hot dog, it was cold. The uncooked sausage was cold.

Hot dog with a toasted bun but steamer, and the toasters are not really toasted, its weird and not very good, but the poutine is excellent although the sauce lacks taste

I deplore the fact that we are refused the childrens menu for small appetites. I put together this à la carte menu and for exactly the same thing he charges me double. Its a real steal.
Thats what ticks this restaurant off, really on the mark. And the meatballs are not reheated or mixed with starchy foods like McDonalds.

Every time I go there its really super long once I waited 30 minutes for a hamburger and there werent that many people in short it was a bit very ridiculous so if you decide to go be prepared to wait a while. Also, the prices are ridiculously too expensive, not because Louis is recognized in Sherbrooke that Im going to pay $8 for a mini poutine which is really not that good. The food is mediocre honestly but the club sandwich is too good, nothing to say. Parking: Several seats available at the back of the restaurant

Everything was perfect. We landed 10 adults and 8 children in addition to the customers already present and everything was prepared quickly. Super fresh food, classic taste of a good canteen. Generous portion and affordable price. Wow!
Happy poutine! Excellent fries, good sauce, but it was especially the cheese that made all the difference.. YUM. Italian Poutine: a little disappointed with the presentation, but still good. I recommend stopping by for a look if youre in the area.

Louis s! A must in Sherbrooke for a quick poutine. Very fresh cheese. The Onion Ring on the other hand was quite oily. In my memory, the puck was better. Fairly fast service.

Always very friendly service even during busy periods. The cuisine (food & hygiene) is impeccable! These places are also, keeping in mind that it is still a fairly busy place. Very little and for my part, never a mistake in what I order! Good canteen food made the way it should be made; delicious and in large portions! Not to mention that the Louis luncheonette is part of Sherbrookes heritage, it is, to this day, exclusive to it! The Maxi Louis as well as their Louis de l Ouest are definitely worth the detour!

Une experience, c est comme un retour sur image. Un fast food avec les qualités du slow food. Chaque commande est faite avec attention, le secret est dns les petite attention. Un commerce comme il y en a plus, un commerce qui est fier de servir ces client et de la nourriture de Qualite. Petit verdissement les portion sont généreuse alors attention pour ne pas trop commander.

Honestly pretty much the best that fastfood can be, made fresh on order, good quality ingredients, eco responsible, service youd never see in big brand fastfood, clean and more. I grew up on this places food and when ever I am in town I cannot not go eat there. Highly recommend for all to try if you never have. Yes of course its fast food, but the menu offered is varied, quality products, cleanliness of the place, honest prices, and REALLY superior service. When we are a regular customer and have asked for an empty dish to take away the rest of our chicken and ground beef poutine and the manager refuses it. Its not strong but really not. She takes her job too seriously.
