My last experience was very unpleasant. There was a party that took up almost the entire restaurant and made it very noisy. I would have liked to have been notified that there was such an event when I booked. Why not block other reservations when 3/4 of the tables are occupied by the same group and everyone is standing? Additionally, the service was way too fast, to the point of being stressful and making us feel rushed to eat. We took the table dhôte: the cocktails arrived at the same time as the bottle of wine and the starter, the main meal arrived a few minutes after our last bite of starter and before the plate of the starter starter was removed, dessert (including melted ice cream) arrived while the bottle of wine was not finished, or 1 minute after the end of our main meal (yes, we started on a timer). So we had our 3 courses + our drinks in less than an hour and we were never offered coffee/other beverage to finish. We felt like we needed to get rid of our table to have more time for the group. Its a shame because the food was very good and my 2 previous experiences had been positive. However, I dont want to go back there to eat.

Everything was perfect! The flavor of the dishes offered is out of the ordinary, the service truly personalized with a nice touch of humor, the ideal atmosphere for a dinner with friends who want to chat, and the prices are very reasonable. A place to put on your agenda. Parking: Plenty of places available, that s not a problem.

For real, we went on a Monday with 3 customers in the place, we sat down and we stayed for half an hour without anyone coming to see us to take our order or giving us a glass of water or even a menu we just left for OMG hoping to be better served. Very ordinary for a first experience.

Very nice experience! We asked our server to make cocktails and mocktails of his choice and they were all very good, different, unique and refreshing. For the dishes, these are tapas formulas. We let the waiter choose for us (5 people): ceviche, scallops, beet salad, shrimp, octopus and 36-hour braised beef. Our server was attentive, he checked if the choices were to our taste, if we liked the dishes and he controlled the quantities of the dishes to perfection! We had a wonderful evening with excellent food and outstanding service! we ll see you again soon, thank you for the great experience! Price a little higher than I expected. However, we received very good service. The atmosphere is pleasant. Everything was very good. I find the portions quite generous for a tapas type restaurant which must have something to do with the price.

Excellent evening, a young and dynamic team

Expensive but very good! Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful decor. Good menu, for all tastes. I had a great time. The portions are relatively small (I chose the oysters, scallop with bacon and the burrata in the tapas). The pizzas are a good size and one may be enough for one person.

All the dishes served during our dinner were cold, lukewarm. Very loud DJ music, difficult to hear when talking to our neighbor.

Atmosphere, decor and staff were really good. We tried some tapas and drinks which were excellent! The only downside was that it was very noisy, but all in all, I recommend it without hesitation.

Unfortunately I found that the value for money was not worth it. The atmosphere is good but the dishes chosen disappointed us and lacked taste. The gnocchi dish was mostly mushrooms, the octopus was OK, the tartare was served warm and not cold and the chicken could have been hotter. I wish them great progress, hoping that, in 1 year, I will return there and be pleasantly surprised.

If you are a vegan, dont go there! The online menu is deceptive as it seems as though they can accommodate, at least partially, a vegan way of eating but it was not the case. There are eggs or cheese in every dish. When I go to a restaurant I can usually just ask for the dish to be served without cheese, but if there are eggs or if the cheese is cooked into the dish (rather than sprinkled on top), not very easy or possible. My family loved their dishes (they are not vegan) which is why I am giving it 3 stars. The music was way too loud for a restaurant. I would expect this at a bar, not a bistro/restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly, however, he seemed extremely overwhelmed as it looked as though he was alone in taking orders.

Unsatisfactory experience. Bad clarification of the menu: we were told to take 1-2 tapas per person, and with 2 tapas (beetroot and gnocchi), I came out still very hungry. Poor knowledge of the menu by the staff: we were warned when taking orders (>1 hour after our arrival) of the many items unavailable on the menu. Only 1 waitress for the entire terrace which affected the service: no water service at the table after the first bottle on arrival, very long waiting time (we arrived at 6:30 p.m., and food received at 9:15 p.m.) . Small portion of meal and normal quality, not justifying the fairly high cost. Vegetarian options: Nothing Vegan

WOW, great experience! I suddenly became a fan of tapas! There is a good quality of service and food. Lots of choices to suit several different tastes: meat, fish, vegetables, etc. You have to try one of their signature cocktails. Its well worth the price!

Poorly organized service, very slow, 1 hour wait for a cocktail, requested 2-3 times, which tasted like water. After about an hour and a half of waiting for the main course, we left without eating...

I was there on a Tuesday for a friends birthday. There was only one waiter (no barman/no help in the dinning room). He seemed new because he didnt know his menu and it was difficult to get clear information or suggestions (my friend is pregnant). Much effort is put into the cocktail list, but not in selling it). The food tasted good, but we waited a long time and it came to us almost completely cold. Dessert (beignets and giant cookie) needed more sugar. I couldnt taste the sweetness except for in the maple ice cream which I dont believe they make. The waiter kindve felt bad for the wait times, but his lack of experience was most apparent when he was under pressure. His personality did not make up for anything. The look/design of the restaurant is nice, but wouldnt justify a recommendation. Many better restaurants in Sherbrooke.

In 2 visits to Pura Vida, I had the chance to taste the salmon and goat cheese pizza, the pecan and truffle pizza (the pizzas are tasty!), the short ribs (very tender meat), the squid (omg the sauce!), broccoli (crunchy, a real favorite), cauliflower (a must-try), beets (the mix with goat cheese is incredible) and donuts (to share, otherwise its is sin). ALL the dishes are excellent and taste like licking the plate. In addition to high-quality cuisine, the restaurant is bright and tastefully decorated. The terrace is comfortable. The sunset today was superb. My partner and I shared 2 tapas and a pizza and had to bring some back. I highly recommend, and I cant wait to go back!

Music still way too loud after 3 tables complained about the high noise level. 20 minute wait for guacamole missing when your waiter socializes with his friends at the bar... tasteless chicken wings and tartare. First and last time for us.

We found the place charming and the atmosphere pleasant but there was clearly a lack of waiters so we ended up leaving to eat elsewhere

With reservation, there was only room at the bar or outside, 30 minute wait and no one came, not because the waiters were doing nothing...because there werent enough of them! Left before tasting anything, really sad for this type of place!

Very small portions (except pizza). But even if the portions were increased, the prices would be too high for what they are. Tartare was not fresh for my part. The fried chicken was served in two pieces chicken strip style. And pizza big enough for 1 person. However, I had the pecan and truffle pizza. In the description it said onion confit and we didnt have any. Three people ordered 3 dishes and clearly it wasnt enough. We had dinner at home afterwards...Really more of a happy hour atmosphere for a drink and a bite to eat than a restaurant for dinner.

Good quality of food however lacking a bit of everything we ordered although the reservation was at 6:30 p.m. last oyster service it was the table next door that had it. The waiter seemed overwhelmed first visit for us unclear explanation yet it was not the crowd plus no toilet paper in the bathroom . Luckily what was left on the menu was good... I wont go back there

The decor is perfect, comfortable bench seat with magnificent bay windows! To have a drink there it does the trick and even more... Because the food is mediocre, not tasty and too expensive for what you have on your plate! Really a shame, because there is potential for the place.

Beautiful restaurant, nice decor but much too noisy inside. The outdoor terrace is wonderful. The service is good but not the fastest (there were only 3 of them for the whole restaurant. The tapas concept is excellent. The cocktails were delicious. The food was very, very good. In terms of prices, its not not cheap but the quality is worth the expense.

Beautiful place, beautiful decor, but in terms of cuisine, its limited, and service and atmosphere, very weak. We were treated to staff, bartender, DJ, completely drunk during the evening. Very very loud music, little consideration for the customers who want to hear themselves talk and discover a new restaurant in Estrie. Perhaps we should rebrand to sell the place as a kind of club that offers tapas, or re-train the staff. In the end, in this price range, there are easily ten better options in Sherbrooke and surrounding areas.

Seriously one of my favorite restaurants in Sherb! Full of flavors! It was excellent, even perfection! Its still quite expensive, but I swear its worth it.

At first, I was a little disappointed seeing the portion size and prices. However, I had the chicken as a tapas and when I took the first bite, wow. Its been a long time since I ate something with such intense flavors. It was excellent and I will go back for sure.

What a great discovery! It s been a while since I had a treat in a restaurant/bistro The atmosphere is pleasant and the decoration is soft. Perfect combo!

Not impressed, nor disappointed. Just OK, nothing more. For the price, I expected more. The scallops would have been perfect if they hadnt been cold. The squid, meh, it was missing a little something. Music too loud, we cant hear each other speak. In this price range, there are other restaurants that I prefer.

Its rare that I take the time to note a place where you shouldnt go but theres no choice. My girlfriend and I shared 12 oysters as a starter, then 3 tapas plates (beetroot, short ribs and scallops) then we had to order a pizza because the portions were so small. The worst, nothing was extraordinary or even good, it was ok without more. At one point in the evening I wondered if the chef had tasted his dishes because they had become so bland. Despite the bill of +160$ for 3 drinks and 5 dishes, its more of a culinary experience that doesnt make sense when you compare with restaurants like Boefish, Westley which are in the same price range.... We didnt stay for dessert.
