We opted for the discovery menu with wine pairing. No regrets. Magnificent layout and impeccable service. The demarcation of the different services offered us a bottom-up, original and daring experience.

I ate a shell of seafood and honestly the worst one I ate had carrots and celery and as for seafood you have to look for it. Really disappointed.

We ordered an anti-stress box and are really satisfied. Good, quick and easy meals. (Reheat and assemble, thats it!) The price is very reasonable for the large quantity of food and meals. Of the meal box options weve tried, this is the best! Its difficult to find meals that the whole family enjoys, especially with young children. However, mine found their account with this! What a great discovery, among the best restaurants we have visited! 7-course tasting menu with excellent food and wine pairing. Varied dishes (land, sea, vegetarian) in starter format (or tapas) all very tasty and elaborate. Favorite for halibut and wild boar (offered during our visit). The wines offered harmonize wonderfully with the dishes. Relaxed atmosphere. Outstanding service. Hats off to chef Suzy (discovered on the show Les Chefs) and to her entire team. We will return!

We have never tried the restaurant yet but regularly order the meal boxes delivered to our home and are always satisfied! We tried several places including caterers, recipes to make at home from several companies and honestly, nothing came close to Baumanns. The recipes are versatile, the children love them, there are vegetables, variety, and everything is totally delicious! I hope the boxes are here to stay for a long time!

Amazing restaurant, from start to finish, a taste buds dice and incredible service

We booked for 8:30 a.m., we arrived at 8:20 a.m. Our table was right in the middle of the restaurant. A table which has no relation depending on the place of the restaurant (around 22 people). Fortunately we had the possibility to change places when the people occupying the table finished eating. We changed places and stood on the edge of the window (opposite the door). I was cold throughout the meal! My feet were frozen, I had to put my mind on my legs. Then, two couples were served before us considering that we arrived well before them. We took the 5 course and we got the 3rd course 1h15 later.. It was long. Finally we have them the main course. My dish was lukewarm The dishes are small, I was left hungry. I was disappointed with my first experience. $180 poorly invested!

THE best restaurant in Sherbrooke in my opinion. When I go to eat in this restaurant, I take the menu blind with the wine pairing (a must!), Im not surprised, because I already know that everything served to me will be incredible. Humble and with raw talent, Chef Suzy will make you forget all your worries for the duration of a meal. The service is impeccable; the dishes and pairings are so well explained that you can already taste the flavors before you even start them. I cant wait to go back there.

We went there for our 2022 Christmas party. The atmosphere was very good and the service was excellent. The food was succulent, refined and diverse (we had a 5-course meal). The experience in general was very good and despite the high price I recommend it

The Baumann box - Stress-Free After the invention of sliced bread, this is pretty much the coolest thing that you absolutely should try. If you simply want to enjoy yourself all week without having to break the bank, this offer is probably made for you. @150$ per box (5 dinners), they are systematically destroying the ready-to-eat market! Everything is good, everything is fresh and roughly speaking if you are able to boil water you should be able to follow the preparation instructions.

I wanted to have a new experience from a culinary point of view. I was served! I swear to you that with each dish, memories came back. If I evaluate the taste, the service, the atmosphere creating unforgettable moments... Everything was exceptional!!! Thanks for the experience!

Sunday July 25, 2021, we went to the Baumann restaurant in Sherbrooke. We were a group of four (4) people. We had the five (5) course menu with wine pairing. We had 3 discovery starters (chefs choice), 1 main course to choose from among 3 courses and 1 dessert. The first starter consisted of raw cod and salmon accompanied by small vegetables, pieces of coconut topped with a shrimp oil vinaigrette and . It was absolutely delicious. As an accompanying wine we had an organic and unfiltered Italian rosé, an astonishing slightly spicy rosé of which it was the last bottle! All the other dishes were sophisticated, both in presentation and composition, and the accompanying wines played their role very well and, several, were great discoveries. As there was a lack of dessert, the chef offered us a pan-fried foie gras placed on a walnut biscuit with a coulis with pieces of strawberries, accompanied by a Madeira wine. In short, it was a treat! The service was courteous, attentive and excellent. We ate on the terrace because the temperature was very suitable but the terrace is rather ordinary. The only downside, the low-end speaker played less sophisticated music than the kitchen, which was not very conducive to the atmosphere. Its not cheap but its very good value for money.

Very good interview I had with Ms. Suzy who went to the chef in 2015. It is appreciated of her to take her time and her cooks are super friendly. I had the honor of being able to meet her team.

From the thoughtfully-designed interior (great playlist through a perfect sound system at exactly the right volume!) to the attentive and knowledgeable service to the astonishingly creative menu, you are unlikely to have a better meal in Canada, let alone Sherbrooke! If this sounds a little over the top, it s intended to: these people are doing it right. No joke.

We went for dinner yesterday and the dishes were delicious, the presentation was stunning and the description of the dishes as well as the wines were incredible the waiter was really passionate. Definitely my new favorite restaurant.

It is a small and cozy restaurant, where you feel very comfortable with the attention of the staff. The food is quite a culinary experience, I went to the place with 2 more friends and we ordered the 5-course service, the recommendation is to let yourself go and have the restaurant staff choose each of the dishes for you, also as a recommendation, ask for the package complete, each dish is accompanied with the ideal glass of wine to make the experience even better. The cost is a little high, but I think it is well worth it for the experience.

A must for lovers of meat and other good things! On the other hand, the service leaves something to be desired, especially for a group of more than 2 people!

Dont hesitate, get off the beaten track and go eat at the Baumann restaurant.

Its excellent ! Really a great discovery. There arent many choices if you want to grab a plate without the table dhôte, but their specialty is the discovery menu. It is more expensive, but you have several very tasty and tasty dishes. Otherwise you take the large service with 5 courses. The menu is really original and everything is good!

Very cold welcome. We felt like we were bothering the waiter from the start of the evening until the end. Its really unfortunate because the reviews made us go there.

We had the 5-course tasting menu and it was a success all round! Our reservation was at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday FYI. Ive eaten at other restaurants where fine dining is on point, but theres something about the dishes that makes Baumann unique. Unpretentious, but so good! Expect to come out with a good bill, but it seems absolutely worth the cost to me.

One word; WOW!!!!! By far my new favorite restaurant. We took the 5-course discovery menu, each dish was as good as the other, I couldnt say which was my favorite. A delight, unique dishes with sophisticated blends and flavors. A recommendation for everyone. I still cant find the words to describe my appreciation, it was wonderfully good! Not only did the dishes exceed my expectations, but so did the service. Friendly, warm and professional waiter. This restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in Sherbrooke. Well done to the whole team, we will definitely come back.

Very, very nice experience on a chilly Saturday evening in September. Our two hosts were not only available for discussion, but very cheerful in telling us about meal design and their beer tastes! As for the food, not only are the dishes very sought after, but the quantity is there. Its rare that on a table of this quality, I come out as full as last Saturday... but mission accomplished!

I have been sick all nigth after my visit at Baumann. Food looks and taste good, service is okay but really, i just puke 90 buck down the toilette.

I was very happy to visit this little restaurant that I had heard so much about! We got the last table (for two people) of the evening by reserving only 1.5 hours before our visit. The atmosphere of the place is warm and pleasant and we were quickly welcomed by a friendly and smiling waiter. The discovery menu, personalized according to our tastes and allergies, delighted us. After a little over 2.5 hours there, we finished a hearty meal which left us full and extremely satisfied. I cant wait to revisit the place!
