Worst Chinese restaurant ever. We were in Sherbrooke and wanted to eat Chinese food. I looked at restaurants around, and unfortunately we chose China Village. The wonton and Hot&Sour soups are acceptable, but the Sechuanai chicken and fish are horrible. Half the plate is sauce, 6 small shrimps are swimming in it, they have no flavor, and whats more, they are lukewarm. They were probably added to the sauce, and didnt have time to reheat. Vegetables about 1/2 cup, bokchoy and 2 pieces of broccoli, in a tasteless sauce, composed of water and starch. So 2 soups, 2 Szechuan plates, 1 coffee and a beer, and a nice bill of $85.00, its shameful, but I only ate the 6 shrimps, the soup and the rice. I regret not having read the reviews before, but I join all those who have posted negative reviews.RESTAURANT TO AVOID

Hands down the best Asian cuisine Ive had in Quebec, its a little expensive but sometimes its worth it.

This was the last time here. Total shit. Unsanitary. There was a time when it was good. Now its a mess and the employees are shouting at each other non-stop. Not a nice atmosphere at all. Difficult reception. Really not a great experience. Definitely wont order again! And on top of that, extremely overpriced for the quality.

This place is a risk to public health. I was served undercooked pork and when I confronted the manager she said it was normal and Cantonese style She was rude, dismissive, and quite frankly irresponsible. Don t go here unless you want to be scammed.

Good Chinese restaurant. Everything was tasty on the plate. The waitress is friendly. However, a new menu would be necessary. Prices have changed, quantities have changed then!!! But above all... there is a lot of sloppiness in the dining room. We even wonder if the dining room is open to the public. The owners should put some order in the customer area. It seems like there are a thousand tasks started and left hanging there. There is so much disorder that it is disturbing. Piles of utensils and papers here and there. Trays of glasses right in the middle of some tables, a big mess that would only take a few hours to put in order to allow for a more pleasant customer experience. Public spaces that just need to be better maintained and that dont cost a fortune: a few $$ to repair broken windows, replace the plywood panel blocking a window and some cleaning products to wash the windows of the entrance. One thing is certain, I would be uncomfortable inviting my family or friends for a group meal in this neglected space. But the food is good...to take away!! (I should have taken pictures)

The meal as a whole was dry we had 4 breaded shrimps there was so much dough it looked like a big donut that had been soaked in oil and for the general tao the dough was hard we had difficulty cutting it. 1st and last time we went there. Finally the waitress asks for a tip for a service she doesnt provide, and whats more, I doubt shes not a waitress, shes the owner or someone close to her. So that tip goes to her. EVERY TIME! I understood that the restaurant was voluntarily removing products from the customer to compensate for the commission he pays to the platform. The Singapore noodles are excellent, however they are much too expensive if I compare them to restaurants in Montreal where it is cheaper and the portion is larger.

False advertising, menu for 2 indicates 2 egg rolls per person, we receive 1 egg roll per person. They would benefit from changing their online menu which dates from 2019. The lady tells me that they no longer give 2 egg roles because it costs too much....hey change your menu or notify your customers when ordering. It will make people ambitious!!! Well order Thai next time...better than your Chinese food. Plus no plum and cherry sauce. They cut food and raise prices.

When you arrive there you ask to eat on site (a sign indicates that it is possible but that the 15% tip is obligatory). The waitress replied: sorry, I dont have any tables, they are all indoors, I should clean them, take away. (There was only one table occupied in the room. She didnt want to clean the tables? We had the meal delivered. The jars were poorly closed, the sauce leaked everywhere... half of the meal was sticky. The soups were cold and the shrimp meal only included 4 shrimp...quite disappointing thank you.

I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager or person in charge for this evening, to warn them, knowing that fish allergies are common. The response was that it was my mistake, without even worrying or saying that she would check in the kitchen (even following my insistence and my assurance that it was not for compensation but for the health of others ). We thought it would even be breaded fish fillets such as sold at the grocery store in the frozen food section (we already bought some, the look and smell was very similar), but maybe they just come into contact with elements that have cooked fish, since it still has a strong smell. In short, be careful if you have fish allergies.

This is mine and my boyfriends go to Chinese restaurant. I grew up in California with a delicious chinese restaurant next door owned by a couple from China. This makes me feel like home. The owner is very nice and funny and always helps me out with choices since Im allergic to pork. The food is always so delicious and he brings it out in the best timing. No this is not authentic chinese food and its not trying to be. And every small owned Chinese food restaurant ive been too has the same decor and its nostalgic.

Very poor service. I ve been here twice and have been treated very poorly. Poorly communicated the price then yelled at me and repeatedly just took money out of my hand. Very disappointed.

Called for delivery. Cost over 50$. They forgot the won ton. The delivery guy came back with it. Very tiny almost no meat. Same with some pasta with beef. I found 4 tiny pieces of meat.

Very good experience when you want to get rid of a loved one who is too clingy. You can pretend to go to the bathroom to actually escape from the restaurant. By the time your loved one understands something on the all you can eat menu that is only in name. It actually involves choosing from a set of dishes and this is only possible once. Nothing to do with what is promised all you can eat sushi I would have much preferred to invest my $30 elsewhere

I ate number 6 with extra chow mein, By far the worst chow mein I have ever eaten in my life! In fact, its the steamed vegetables included in the menu to which they add fried noodles and sprouted beans, probably canned given their condition, and the whole thing is bathed in a pool of unreduced broth! The general tao and the rolls are frozen, probably bought at Costco! In my opinion the chef tried to resuscitate the shrimp in a pool of chemical red sauce. In the end the only positive element is the white rice without flavor and without personality like a restaurant! Pay $48.99 And have to reheat the entire meal, because it was cold enough to immediately put in the fridge without bacteria growing!

The food is excellent
