Really bland food

Good sushi but the server doesnt know what he is serving, so if youre 6 ordering at the same times and he serve you 5 type and they dont even look whats they look like in the menu its impossible to know what youre eating, the sever even got a so call expert to be able to tell us what they brought and he didnt even seems sure , he got to look at the 5 or 6 we order at tye same times and I think in the end he just guest it....

Really much too expensive for nothing because too much similar sushi and never a new choice, I have 3 children between 12 and 17 years old and it cost me the skin of the butt... Positive point the service is extremely good because when you know how to order from the tablet it is very efficient and the children love it it is very different from everywhere else.

Parking: Located at King Drive, the parking lot is quite large and extends in front of several businesses, restaurants and clinics.

I went to eat there with my friend and we both felt like they served us the left over old food . We ordered multiple plates of sushi and the rice was half cooked, we found shrimp shells inside our sushi ( something felt weird while i as eating it, thats how i noticed) my friend ordered a coke and it was flat, most of the sushis were dry. i ve eaten there before and never was the food so low quality. this is our last time going to this restaurant.

A great idea to reduce waste. I plan to visit again this weekend in Sherbrooke. I would like to give this store a rating of 5 out of 5. Im sure negative comments come from people who dont have the patience or who dont understand Japans culture of seeking perfection. Because here I was able to experience that perfection.

We enjoyed our visit. Very fast service. The different dishes we tasted were good and in sufficient quantity. Operation with the iPad is really efficient. A nice variety of sushi, however no fried sushi style option. The establishment is definitely not new, but it is clean!

Each time I go there, the quality of the food and the attitude of the servers always get lower than I think it could go. What is the point of having an electronic menu iPad to order from if the servers always brings the wrong things to your table? The food is really mediocre, and I can not count how many time me and others have gotten sick from their food. They are really stingy with everything except the damn rice!!!!! Like why are you serving to people the tiniest amount of fish in those sushi but pack them with rice to make it look bigger?And god forbid you don t eat all of the rice because they will charge you for it. All-you-can-eat Sushi restaurant Order style on iPad. A 3 star, decent food, nothing bad but nothing Wow. Missing the few things that make you want to come back. No descriptions of the dishes, just an image BUT a comments section on each dish . This is the interesting side of this restaurant You can leave whatever comment you want, no one checks and no cleaning is done, Ill let you guess the mess and the comments, its magic. If you have any expectations going there, its in the comments sections that you should have them. I think that just for that, it s worth going there at least once.

Place to avoid.. Very friendly waitress, nothing against her. Everything fried was either overcooked or cold & soggy. Even the fried rice was a failure. But hey, my friends and I had a laugh about it. It was worthy of a parody... so 1 star, since it is impossible to give any. Go somewhere else!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Shogun Sushi. The wonton soup was particularly unpleasant, tasting like old fat and the wontons had the texture of half-dry plasticine and the taste was definitely disgusting. The sushi was also disappointing, far from the expected quality, some even inferior to those found in supermarkets. Without forgetting the reconstituted scallops. Additionally, the plates were dirty and greasy. On the other hand, the room service was good.

One of my favorite places in town. The service is super fast, the food quality. Its super easy to order, not expensive either for all you can eat, especially at lunchtime. Parking: Plenty of parking available, some times more than others. Kid-friendliness: Ive been there before with my one year old baby and they have high chairs. Several meal options are suitable for children. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is at sidewalk level and there is still room inside to move around

I think the reason that the prices tripled in 2 years is because of the amount of overweight people eating here. They could do a discount for normal people who dont eat like animals.

Very ordinary mistake food. The sushi was OK, nothing more. Everything fried was disgusting with oil. It seems that the customers were all friends of the employees who were around 17-18 years old, we stood out a lot as customers.. Towards the end of the meal, my friend received a soup and there was a fly in it... NO apology from anyone, nor from the waitresses (we had a simple Ah as a reaction when we mentioned it to her), and absolutely nothing on the part of the owner... I even told him that this was not normal, that the first thing that should have been done was to apologize... and I even told him that EVEN HE had not apologized (I tried to give him a pole, tsé)... Me and my group wanted to book (2 hours in advance) for a 2nd experience, we called and the reservation was made. When we arrived for our reservation we were told we did not have a reservation and the restaurant was full. If you call for a reservation, make sure you have proof just in case, because otherwise you will have an empty stomach and you will have wasted your time.

The dining room is large, which is good for groups. The electronic tablet makes the ordering system efficient. We receive the plates quickly, but no effort is put into the presentation. We are served in plastic dishes and the eating chopsticks are made of wood (hello ecology!). Sushi is rolled incorrectly half the time or falls apart easily. Appearance and content are often different from what is shown on the tablet. The ingredients are not very varied and we only find the classics. I could have understood if the prices were advantageous, but that is no longer the case! I insist on this: Shogun Sushis all-you-can-eat sushi is as expensive as the competition, including at lunchtime, in addition to being of lower quality! The service itself is not worth much. The waitresses place the plates on the table and rush off. So if you receive the order for another table by mistake, you deal with it. If you have a choice, dont waste your time and money on Shogun. For sushi from Quebec, it is acceptable in terms of quality. However, I have the vague impression that no renowned chef, Japanese or not, works there. Otherwise, its a bit sad as usual. I havent eaten quality sushi in Sherbrooke (and in Quebec, even more so) since the fabulous Momiji restaurant closed its doors several years ago. The atmosphere is no reason to stay more than 10 minutes in this not very fun all you can swallow . The service will never be warm or good. The butterfish was good. The breaded pork was definitely not fabulous. It is therefore fair game if I give a score of 50/100 in terms of the quality of the dishes offered. Because of the poor service and cold atmosphere of the place, its not a great place for a warm moment spent with someone you like, in my opinion. This is what you would expect from a buffet. On the other hand, the price has increased quite a bit and the choices in terms of sushi/sashimi/makis/etc. still remain quite limited. I forgot: my group said they were served many dishes that we would not have ordered. Sake is not expensive in Shogun. I will not wish you bon appetit or good luck, because after having absorbed my pearls of wisdom, I think you will eat in full consciousness (but perhaps elsewhere). Come on, ciao! Very poor service on the phone. I wait 5 minutes to simply reserve. Also, the person who put me on hold did not put it on MUTE. For 5 minutes I hear him talking with his colleague about a boil water advisory and everything and nothing except taking my reservation. Ill go somewhere else.

Very disappointed, its been a long time since I went there. In the old days, we brought our own wine so I brought a bottle, but the restaurant has evolved and now offers wine. I then asked the waitress if I could leave my bottle with her during my meal and she replied no problem . When we left the restaurant, the waiters had thrown our bottle, I was so insulted, a little note to tell us that they couldnt keep it (we would have put it in the car) would have been greatly appreciated. Despite the fact that the network crashed!!! A superb beautiful vibe!!! Thanks again :) The only downside is to pay attention to the cleanliness of the furniture. It was barely passable from my point of view. The floors were not on the big mark :(

In terms of service, the person who placed us at the table was smiling, friendly and courteous, but the table service was cold and abrupt. Nothing pleasant and nothing worth spending $37.50/person before tax.

4 years ago, this place was my favorite restaurant. Affordable, great service, fresh and tasty food. Today I went there with my daughter. I had sweet and sour chicken, totally cold, beef with broccoli which smelled and tasted like seafood not fresh, cold tempura sweet potato starter. My California rolls had an overripe avocado in them. It took 15 minutes to get a refill of my water glass once I finished it. In short, totally disappointed for a total bill of $80. I will never go back there again.

I dont plan to go back any time soon... Food mostly cold or tasteless. The waiters never come back to serve water. They place the food on your table with no looks or facial expressions. One of the waitresses was complaining that they were going to have a big table tonight. (Relatively not always pleasant, but its not the whole restaurant that needs to know that youre not happy to receive customers.) They start moving tables and pushing them instead of lifting them, which creates a commotion in the restaurant. In short, for the price, its far from living up to my expectations.

Jétais hier au resto et jai assister à une scène où les serveuses ont intimidé un groupe de jeune filles. Cétait vraiment dommage dengager un staff aussi incompétent. Toutes les filles ont payé leur pourboire et pourtant elle leur criaient dessus comme quoi elle ne lont pas fait. Cest désolant, on mettra plus les pieds dans ce restaurant ni nos amis dailleurs.

Cold soup Fried rice too oily and cold General tao cold chicken

Used to love eating here But every time I come back something else is getting a bit worse... The service isnt great. I completely understand being overwhelmed with how busy it can get, but on a few occasions even after asking for just some water it took 30+ minutes while we already had our food... On top of sometimes being straight up ignored when trying to get a waiters attention. Some of the food items are pretty good. Others were straight up inedible. Some sushi is advertised as crunchy on the iPad menu and came in super soggy... I once ordered the chicken sushi (out of pure curiosity) The first-time, it came out with a strand of hair in it and we had to send it back. The second time, it just tasted so bland and nasty. (Not sure what I was expecting, but I dont understand why youd even put this on the menu.) Overall decent, but a couple of problems keep persisting every time I go which is why Ill leave it at a 3 star.

Nous sommes allés manger plusieurs fois au Shogun (que ce soit en famille, entre amis, en couple, etc) et nous navons jamais eu de mauvaises expériences. La nourriture est excellente et apportée dans les temps. Certes, nous avons parfois eu des serveurs et serveuses qui manquaient un peu dentrain, mais je nai jamais eu droit à du mauvais service (air bête, plaintes, etc).

service was rly good even tho i showed up late (1.5h before closing). sushi is good too. if you eat average to a lot, AYCE is definitely worth it bc prices à la carte rank up quickly

The place is great! Personally I prefer shogun than Osé, it lacks a bit of service, but otherwise its perfect, vast all-you-can-eat menu for both those who like sushi and those who dont eat it, it has several other options
