Malina Ukrainian Bakery in Sherwood Park

I got my order through Uber eats. I look in my bag and see that there was a hadwritten note from the person filling my order that they were out of one the things I wanted and replaced it with something else,plus yhey gave a description of the substitute in the bag . Noone puts thought and care into most things now days,so seeing this really put a smile on my face. My order was super amazing and delicious,and I will definitely continue to support your business.

Always fresh and sooooo delicious

We had a lovely experience at Malinas Bakery. The pastries are homemade and fresh and their borscht soup was delicious! Alex served us and he was very polite, friendly and professional. We will definitely be going back!

Decided to try it out late on a Saturday, wish I didn t. Baked goods were not worth finishing, staff was margins friendly at best. Not a repeat.

I m not gonna lie, the food doesn t taste as good as it looks. I tried a bunch of things. I got their buy 6 for 28 deal and it was all so bad. The pastries are so dense and thick, and the baked goods were so hard, like as if they were stale. I dono maybe I had a bad bunch but it really was a waste of money. Not even one baked good I tried was remotely good. I also got a few cakes and they were soooo dense and thick as well. Was not very enjoyable to eat anything from here. There are better bakeries. But if you re into dense baked goods then maybe this is for you. I can t say I ll go back. There s way better out there.

Living just down the road is dangerous because that means I stop in probably more than I should! Love both the sweet and savory buns, and their beet borscht is delicious too! The potato and dill pyrizhki are my favorite!

Honestly, I came here for the sweet baked goods... And those were great. But - I left surprised by how delicious the savoury baked goods were too! Anything with dill in it, just buy it now. The drinks were tasty as well and service was quick!

The staff was very kind and helpful but the best part was still the sandwiches! SO delicious! We also shared a pastry and some drinks that were very tasty. Everything was super fresh and you can tell a lot of care goes into making everything.

Small coffee/pastry shop located semi-within a nice car dealership. Dining in offers some nice sight lines of the cars inside. Very nice gentleman working behind the counter. Authentic cafe drinks, and the pastries are fresh and so good! I feel the pastries are a fair price for the quality in which they re made. Will definitely be back!

Best mocha in town

This is the best Ukrainian food Ive tasted since moving back to Canada from Ukraine 20ish years ago. Tastes just like my best friends mom over there used to make. Sooo many delicious baked treats to try! My favorite are the Honey Cake, Vatrushka with mushroom and cheese if I want something savoury, Vatrushka with cottage cheese for something in between or Kyiv Cake for the sweet tooth!

I finally stopped by the Sherwood Park location and was very pleased with the pastries! You can definitely tell they are homemade and made with love, the flavours are authentic as well. Can t wait to return and try the rest of the items offered, including a coffee.

Very cool place for a bakery and the food and drinks are delicious. I went with a group of 3 and everyone got something different and said it tasted very good. 100% would recommend trying this place out, so worth it.

The grab and go bag was disgusting. Hard and stale. They should have been tossed in the garbage because thats what they were...GARBAGE. Waste of seven dollars. And please dont give a response by owner that I should have heated them up or done this or done that. The five stale bricks of pastry were well beyond any prayer of assistance. And no Ill not buy fresh as I will never grace your place again.

Ordered two of the Too Good to Go parcels. Absolutely loved what was offered and this app is a great way of finding new restaurants that I otherwise wouldn t have found or gone to. Get to try at a discount price and decide if it s worth ever paying full price. Definitely worth it.

Love Ukrainian bakery items

Bought a Surprise Bag from To Good To Go and let me tell you I was immediately in love. I m bringing my friends and family here next time and I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants delicious pastries and general bake goods! In another note, the stuff here was super friendly!

Malina is a wonderful cafe in Sherwood Park. The location is very welcoming and inviting and the staff are very friendly. The gentleman working today was very friendly and serviced us promptly. The coffee here at Malina is incredible. The americano I had was one of the best I have ever enjoyed. The flavour of the coffee came through and was not at all bitter or acidic. The food was also incredible. There are a lot of delicious options to choose from and you cannot go wrong. As a car guy the added upside is the view into Sherwood Customs/Sherwood Motorcars. Super neat location. I look forward to returning and trying more of the coffee and food options. I think this may be my new favourite cafe in Sherwood Park.

Delicious pastry and coffee

Yesterday was my first time at Malina Ukrainian Bakery on Buckingham Drive. It was such a nice place! So many choices for savoury and sweet snacks, plus frozen meals to prepare at home. The paper bags (found on top of the display case) are like surprise bags of pastries for $10 and we enjoyed them so much. Ours contained 4 giant creations and all of them were great.

We happened to come across this amazing place when leaving the nearby sporting goods store. Stopped by for a quick baked treat for our trip home to Fort Sask. We nibbled our baking as we left the Park, and it was sooo darn good we turned around and came back to pick up a higher quantity. Delicious! And thank you so much, we will be back!!

Absolutely amazing! I tried their cinnamon twists, garlic and dill bun and feta and spinach bun and it was all fantastic! It was all baked fresh and you could tell. I would strongly encourage everyone to give this place a shot. Their latte was good as well!

I dont go out of my way to leave reviews often, the food of course is great ! But the customer service of the young lady working today was above and beyond. You never know how far a simple gesture will go !

Excellent Ukrainian pastries and food. The poppyseed bun is to die for and tastes just as I remember my babas did from childhood. I am so pleased that Malian has opened a second location. The barista at the Sherwood park location was a delight, provided excellent service and treated us with a lot of patience. I can t wait to come back! Very fun to look at the luxury cars next door after enjoying a snack at Malian Bakery.

A real treat to visit this place. The grandkids loved looking at the cars in the dealership attached to the bakery. Lovely pastries.
