Café Celeste is our go to for Italian in Sherwood Park. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Food portions are very generous and we bring our own take Away containers for leftovers. Lots of parking in front or on the east side. Food

Cafe Celeste is a wonderful restaurant with top quality food, and service. Tara is by far my fiancée and Is favorite server there, she always goes above and beyond for us and always makes us laugh and have a good time! Shirley temples? Amazing. Salmon risotto? Devine. Carbonara? Get me another! I love Cafe Celeste and will always be sure to come back again and again. Thank you

Everything was great

Ordered the Linguine Ala Vongole last evening,from placing the order to it brought to the table was under fifteen minutes. It had a fish smell and visually looked like a mushy bowl of noodles . Upon tasting clearly the noodles were not fresh and were served with canned clams in the juice. Never seen this presentation before disgusting! My partner had the fried calamari which was tiny portion for the price. Overall terrible poor value will not return.

I highly reccomend coming here! The atmosphere is cozy and the food is amazing! Our table ordered the bruschetta and I am not a fan of onions or tomatoes, but it was absolutley amazing! The pasta is cooked perfectly and the sauces are fregrant with amazing flavor.

Husband and I popped in for dinner at the Sherwood Park location. Tara was our server and greeted us in a friendly and professional manner. Her service was spot on and our food was fresh hot and delicious. We had the fried calamari to start, then the salmon and shrimp fettuccini (very garlicky but delicious), and the pork limone for mains. The atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend!

We have only had delivery from Cafe Celeste but it is their lasagna and Caesar salad that is a super star* hit for our household. On our last dinner order, the dressing was missed and after we called, the owner himself drove over with not only the dressing but a dessert! He was at our door in 6 minutes and felt badly because he had personally missed this when he packed the order. I have always learned more about a business by how they act when there is a problem. Incredible food with great service, that s a win!

Great ambience, service was attentive and food came out fast. I had the Fettuccini Con Salmon which was tasty enough but was swimming in so much sauce it looked more like a soup. While the description said baby shrimp they were so tiny and virtually non existent Also I was so looking forward to the smoked salmon but there maybe about five flakes of salmon. Somewhat disappointed .

Im a pasta lover and couldn t find the right place that satisfy my taste buds, and when I came to Edmonton, one of the things I looked for is pasta, so I tried it from this restaurant, and I m glad I finally found the best pasta place. Their pasta is so delicious and very taste. The best pasta I ever tried in my whole life. I ve been ordering from them every other day coz I am only staying here for 2weeks. I will probably visit this place again. Very satisfied customer (Second time visiting Edmonton) This restaurant never disappoints me! This long weekend I drove 3hrs with my friend just to introduce her the best Italian restaurant I ever been. And I m glad my friend loved their amazing special pasta. I got the Picante Marsala, they have a big serving so I take home the rest, and unbelievably the pasta still tasted good even couple days after. I can t wait to go back there again. I dont mind driving 3hrs just to visit Cafe Celeste again! If you re looking for a good ambiance, delicious dishes, and friendly customer service, this place is highly recommended!

We went to Cafe Celeste to celebrate a win. We enjoyed the yummy Sambuca cream shrimp for an appetizer. I had the Pollo Lemone with spicy penne and my husband enjoyed his Linguini D-Mare (seafood), but with penne instead. They were so DELICIOUS!!! Brett and his staff do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and they provide excellent service.

Although my lobster pasta was a bit salty, everybody elses meals were excellent. A tad pricy tho!

Last night was my birthday so me and my family stopped by for a bite and had some wonderful food but our server Lindsay was the highlight of our night! She was very friendly and welcoming and had us laughing the whole time! Definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Everyone loved it except me. I had the rack of lamb, well hardly. I know times are tough and costs have gone up all over but for $48 I shouldnt be going home hungry, they were the thinnest pieces of rack of lamb that I have ever had and even though cooked to medium inside they were almost burnt to a crisp on the outside. Service was exceptional.

Strike 2 A few weeks ago was going to order on skip but know that costs the business So called it in for pick up There was a free salad if you ordered on skip but we were told we would get the same if we picked up When we picked up we were told there was no salad since we didn t do skip?! After a discussion we finally got the salad Ordered again the other day and the $18 bruschetta now comes with 5 tiny pieces of toast?! So we had to make our own at home Called in about that and we were told we d get a call back we didn t Used to be quite good but not so much lately

Shared the prosciutto crostini and they are outstanding! I had the pollo ala Milanese and also delicious. My brother loved his rose pasta with sausage.

Very good pasta, but at $40.00 a plate, it should be fantastic. Credit card machine tips offer 18% , 20% or 25%. There should be no need for tips based on menu prices.

This was our second time here for brunch. Very expensive for so-so food. I would expect a bigger wow factor at this place. Fruit salad consisted of sliced apples and oranges... very underwhelmed. We may give this place one more chance and try the dinner menu.

It would be great if they did! Other than that, it was a fantastic place - the hamburger soup and salad were fantastic! The restaurant has been added to our go back list for sure! We went to Cafe Celeste for my sisters birthday tonight and everything was top notch. I want to give a shout out of our server but I cant recall her name. She was a pretty young woman with blonde hair in a bun. She was an excellent server and made my husband and two girls evening fantastic. Ours was a table of ten and she handled it with ease. Water was always refilled and she checked back often. The food is rich and delicious but Id have to say it was her excellent service that made our night enjoyable. My husband and I have always dined out fairly often but lately have preferred to stay home because the service everywhere is so terrible but not here. The owners have a hidden gem in this young woman and I hope the treat her accordingly. We would gladly recommend this restaurant in the future. And, I truly hope this message reaches our server. We decided to give this place a second opportunity after a poor experience with breakfast (greasy food). Sadly, it was our anniversary, and we encountered extremely poor service along with the grossest pizza ever. It was so greasy that I couldn t even hold a piece with my hands; the only way to eat it was with a fork, considering the amount of oil they added with the caramelized onions. It was inedible, and despite their apology, we had to send it back. My partner managed to finish his lasagna, but we ended up going to the pizza place next door to get a pizza.

Ordered lasagna and chicken Marsala fettuccine. Lasagna was very regular. Chicken Marsala was sweet and spicy, first time ever I had a sweet pasta. Do not order. Bread was very low quality. Service was ok. Ambiance is good. Price to quality ratio is very poor.

An absolutely cozy and calm atmosphere. Loved the service and how extraordinary personalities that work here. The food is very delicious and drinks were well made. The salmon benny and truffle pasta were beyond superb. Portions were excellent. We are definitely going to become regulars here.

I have given this place a 5 start review as the service was outstanding. We ordered our food, were served, and paid on the way out the door in 40 minutes. I have never had a dine in meal that was that fast. We ate an early dinner so rush times may differ from that. The portion size to price point is spot on, These plates are big, or at least ours were. Started with the Maple Sausage Crostini which I enjoyed, Misses said it has too much kick. She ordered the Linguini Carbonara and I had the Chipotle Rose with Penne. Both pasta dishes were okay, although we both felt that we could make the same meal at home. I enjoyed the Rum Punch drink, it was very nice on a hot day. As for the atmosphere there is not much of a private setting, you can hear everyone elses conversations. All in all we would eat here again for lunch to try something else on the menu.

This was our 1st visit to this restaurant we were looking for something different. If you want a romantic Italian meal, then this is the place. The atmosphere was cozy, and our sever was excellent. The food was excellent. I had the Doce curry chicken linguine. I was never a real fan of curry, but the mixture with a touch of honey added a sweet vibe to the curry spice. My wife had the Fettuccine Con Solmone and loved every bite.

Made an online reservation well in advance for a date night. When we arrived, we were told that the restaurant was overbooked and we were asked to sit at the bar until a table frees up. Entering the restaurant, over half of the tables were empty and remained empty for the next 30 minutes. About 5 minutes after our food arrived and we began to eat, a waitress asked if we wanted to sit at one of the free tables. No effort or recognition from any of the wait staff regarding this situation. My partners food was excellent, mine was average. Unfortunately, a disappointing start to our evening.

Overall this a good place. There are better Italian places but this serves the purpose if you want italian food. I had a gocchi with pomodoro sauce however, I did not like it. It was way to over powering in terms of flavour. I did not finish it. My husband had a vegetarian pasta with truffle oil and cream sauce which was very good! The service was great and the ambience is really nice as well. I would really give it a 3.5/5 to be exact.

Fantastic food, so tasty. Excellent atmosphere, great service. Two things would take this amazing restaurant to the next level: 1) New cutlery. The food is phenomenal, but the cutlery is dollar store cheap. 2) The bread that is served doesn t seem fresh and the olive oil used for dipping does not taste good. Need to use better olive oil. Regardless of these 2 minor things we will be back!

Went in for the first time with my 2 girlfriends tonight. We had Josh as our server and he was a gem! Very informative and took great care of us. He was easy to be personable with! Highly recommend, the food was amazing as well. Will totally be back!

Clearly stated food allergies were ignored, and was told to just not eat that part when I brought it up. Food otherwise was mediocre and overpriced. Dietary restrictions: Restaurant ignored food allergies.

The food is highly overpriced and of poor quality, as in barely on the edible spectrum. Menu prices online have not been updated and are higher than advertised. One of our group informed the server of a food allergy, and the item was brought with the allergen spread on top. When this was pointed out, the server said its just around the edges and showed zero concern. If zero stars was a rating, thats what I would give. Definitely will not go back.

Went out for dinner Sunday night with my family. The service was amazing and the food was cooked very well. The problem with our food was, we ordered linguine dmare. We were promised snow crab and I knew we wouldnt get a quarter pound, but thought we would get a fair claw size. However the crab claw was tiny, like the smallest possible claw they could find and it was the same for both of our meals. The claw was so small, it had only 2 pieces of meat that were smaller than my pinky nail. For $35 I would expect at least a piece of crab that we could taste. We would have brought it up, but we both only got one very tiny claw in each dish. It was very disappointing for an otherwise nice experience.

i m typically not a fan of pasta resturaunts, but my god, the food here is SOOO good. Service was perfect, atmosphere was so nice. I will say, the tiramisu can be skipped, i would recommend getting a different dessert.

The place is pleasant nice classy decor. The sangria is tastey. The only real issue is the food. Too much salt. Appetizer was good but the main dish was very salty. Normally canelloni is a very rich cheesy dish. This was almost all meat no cheese and the added a lot of salt to it. Far too much. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free varieties of almost all dishes.

What an absolute disappointment. I had planned a special date night for my wife and I before our first born baby came into the world. Booked a reservation and showed up right on time. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were seated promptly. And that s where we waited for 30+ minutes without being attended to, asked for a drink order or even acknowledged by the serving staff and made to feel invisible. We have never been ones to leave a restaurant because of poor service, but the kicker to this experience is being told to have a great night on our way out, making us feel like we didn t matter while watching other tables being attended to 6+ times while we sat and waited without even being offered a glass of water. Not sure we ll likely ever be back. Hopefully your experience is better than ours. Good luck.

Food was lousy service was ok background music was too loud. People should learn to keep the background music lower so people dont have to talk louder just to be heard. My table of 7 people would have had a better supper at the McDonalds across the parking lot. We wont be back.

Melt in your mouth, delicious perfection. I have tried a number of dishes and I dont have a favorite. They are so accommodating to people with allergies and I have yet to hear from anyone about a negative experience. Please, eat here, try anything. Service: I would say that for the most part service is quite good, not the best Ive seen around, however, better than most. Every encounter we have had has been great. Our food, drinks, and just general attention from our server is always positive and as expected. Atmosphere: Pretty basic, clean, not in your face. Doesnt feel old or dated to me. Honestly, I was too involved with my meal to really pay attention to the atmosphere. I can say that Ive gone with a group or just a couple, and we have quite enjoyed the entire experience every time. Best tiramisu!

Took my family here tonight who were visitng from NS. Wed been meaning to try it out since the summer when we saw a few good reviews and that kids eat free on Sundays. Portions were generous... food was delicious! Our server (a blonde woman..) was really sweet and attentive. She even offered to take our photo which was so thoughtful. Well definitely be back.

Delicious Italian favourites and a cozy room, Celeste is definitely good enough to be our regular spot in Sherwood Park. Staff is young, but friendly, and will definitely grow with experience. I only wish there was more Canadian wine on the menu.

Dilan, second great meal at your restaurant. Have to say dinner cannelloni, then lunch penne carbonara like I ve never had before! Each time the other guests we brought were equally impressed. What a breath of fresh air to go to a non-chain Italian restaurant. Aren t we lucky to have you 5 minutes away from our own home? I ve been promoting you to all the neighbours Both times the service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about your dishes. Update: I came for lunch & brought another friend; the food quality was great but honestly I was quite taken aback at the portion size. Previously, I had ordered penne carbonara for lunch, a decent size portion came in a bowl and enough that I took some home. Today it came on a plate with a salad bowl sitting beside it. Seemed for the same price a much smaller portion ? I m not greedy, but it was noticeable. Back to Restaurant with my daughter this week, for lunch, we ordered dinner portions due to last visit. I had my fav carbonara, she had Dolce chicken curry....yum I tried some and might be another go-to. It was fabulous. Service as always, great!

I thought it was a cute little spot. Seemed a steady flow of customers. Service and staff 5/5 The meal was somewhat mediocre. The pasta was well cooked. But the sauces on the pasta dishes were a bit lacking. The balsamic vinegar had thickened in the bottom of the bowl under the olive oil they had served with the bread. My son had a pizza that sounded lovely but it s thin crust was already a bit soggy from the pasta sauce. One thing that would be helpful would be a menu for younger children with smaller portions. Their pasta was in adult sized bowls with only sauce on it. I did not inquire if they have a dessert menu so can not comment on it.

Have been here several times and haven t had a dish we didn t like. The portions are huge but it is the taste / food quality that keeps us coming back. The staff are wonderful and I just learned that the owner is also the chef (takes pride in serving delicious dishes). Highly recommend the Marsala pasta dish if you like spice and the red velvet dessert might be the best dessert I ve ever had!

Showed up for a friends birthday dinner at 7.30 pm. Yes, I bought my small child so I knew I would be eating quick and leaving early. By 9pm food was still not at the table so I had to ask for my bill and my food to go. I had ordered a bottle of wine for the table, a side salad, appy and kids pizza. And honestly, I got home with my take out ( I live less than 10 min away) and this food is the most disgusting looking meal Ive seen, let alone paid a $140 tab for. The food had clearly been sitting for a while. The $19 crustuni was cold and so chewy its not worth flighting to eat. The kids pizza is so greasy its not something I would have eaten hungover in my teens....I will not be back. I wish it let me post a picture, this is disgusting

I tried this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend, and honestly was extremely disappointed. My husband, and I both wound up getting sick from the pesto cream pasta sauce, our server was nearly non existent, which resulted in my having to wait over forty five minutes before I could even eat my dinner. First after I had to get her to take my pasta back, and retoss it after she told me the pasta I was ordering came with a cream sauce(it didnt), and it was literally swimming in the white wine garlic sauce it was served in. My husband repeatedly attempted to get her attention, only to have her make eye contact, and then immediately disappear. Then when she finally returned *literally* twenty minutes later, and took my pasta to retoss it, she took my fork, and didnt bring it back. She then immediately left again before I could even say that my fork was missing, and without so much as refilling our water glasses, or even asking my husband if he wanted a refill for his empty drink, and proceeded to continue to ignore every attempt my husband, and I made to get her attention. Finally thirty minutes later, when my husband was nearly done his food, the HOST came to our table. As she had noticed my husband trying to get our servers attention, I was finally able to get a new fork. Our server didnt come back until she was asking us if we wanted a dessert menu! She even went to the table next to us, brought them the card machine, and then left again without so much as glancing in our direction! Thats not to mention that she returned to their table nearly twenty minutes later, at which point they informed her that she hadnt even brought them their bill! Honestly they looked about as impressed with the service as we were. The pasta itself was incredibly bland, and as a chef myself I was very disappointed. Especially after having had to wait so long to even eat it. I have worked in the service industry, and I understand sometimes things get busy, and it can be crazy. However they were not busy! In fact by the time we finally left, we were the only people left in the entire restaurant other than the staff, and it was early! I had heard good things about this restaurant, and couldnt have been more disappointed with not only the food, but the service. I honestly dont know that I would ever go back.

Very good experience!! Food was great!! We had the special, the fungi gnocchi and Italian sausage baked. Great flavors. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly (I believe her name was Natasha). She made some great recommendations! We will definitely be back.

A group of me and my friends had lunch there today we had very poor service,the bread on my steak sandwich was so hard I couldn t chew it ,the French fries were good as was the beer

Perhaps it s our fault for not making reservations but it s twice now that after being seated we were told that our table was reserved for a later time. This was mentioned at the front and again after we were seated. We decided to leave because we felt like we were not welcome. The food is delicious when we have been here numerous times before (also no reservations). The owner and her son was our server and he s wonderful. Perhaps all the staff should be trained in the same manner as the owners son who always made us feel welcomed.

My husband and I went to Cafe Celeste for the first time Monday night. The hostess greeted us warmly and brought us to the patio. Very nice first impression! There was lovely music playing and the patio ambiance was so nice. So much to chose from on the menu! Server was also very warm and welcoming. We shared muscles, salad and pasta. The muscles were good. The salad for the price I would have to say wasn t anything special. The pasta was very nice! Overall the service was warm, beautiful people with lovely smiles, and the music and food were very nice (minus the salad). I would definitely go back! Can t wait!

Chipotle sausage penne pasta is my new favourite comfort food. Dietary restrictions: I have ibs and have a few triggers. Staff listened to my requests and offered solutions. Never had any issue. Parking: Lots of close parking and never had an issue to get parking.

Ive dined here with a friend once, and the food was Delicious. Recently got some food to take home, there was a bit of disorganization when I picked up but the food was delicious. I had the truffle cream pasta

Prices are too expensive for the quality. Pasta was not that bad, would like to see less customer choice and more chef directed dishes. Really did not enjoy the pizza which is disappointing for an Italian restaurant.

I was there for a family celebration with lots of friends, food and service was excellent, it was my first visit of many more to come, I highly recommend this place

Fabulous food. I went with four other friends. We all ordered a pasta dish and tried each others as little taste tests. Everyones dish was delicious. Service was superb. Highly recommend this place.

Service was great. Had the Chipotle Rose and Peato Alio Olio. The chipotle rose sauce was good as was the peato alio olio. The black olive were over powering in the peato. Felt the penne pasta wasnt worth the 30 dollar price tag.

The service and food were very good. This is only the second Italian restaurant I have found that does a dish with sambuca. The other one has since closed down in Canmore. The licorice flavoring was very subtle so to my taste I advised the waitress they could use slightly more. The rest of my partys dished were also really good being the tortellini gnocchi and pomodoro. The only criticism I would have and I dont know what they can do about it is the noise level of other patrons talking. It really was hard to carry on a conversation not because of a radio blaring in the background but simply because of other peoples conversation but all in all a definite repeat.

Great spot in Sherwood Park. Enjoyed the seafood pasta ( giant portions !) , spicy penne and huge appetizer meat balls. Everything was delicious, (fresh pasta would have been an over the top option , sorry had to say it ).

What a great restaurant. The food and service are sensational. Thanks to Barbara especially for making us feel so special on our date night. Italian food at its best and a few unusual items too and great wine selections. Loved it, cant wait to go back

Just a great little place. Dont let the outside deter you from experiencing this gem of an Italian restaurant. Inside ambience was fantastic. Server was attentive, professional and welcoming. Food was very good. Yes, a little pricier than some places however my wife and I dont mind paying a bit more if the food is fantastic...and it was. Will definitely be returning and bringing friends!

Beautiful restaurant, nice decor and the staff are super friendly. Also, best ceaser Ive ever had! I ordered the pasta dish with jalapenos (sorry cant remember the name of it) but it was delicious! And their garlic bread! Great experience, only missing a star because of the prices - I spend about $180 for 3 people and the portions were very small

Cafe Celeste Bistro provided wonderful service to our large party of 14 and 7 month old twins. Very attentive and so nice to everyone. I had the fried calamari for the appetizer and grilled lamb with gnocchi for my entree. This was some of the best gnocchi I have ever tasted. Best texture. Absolutely lovely experience. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta options. Kid-friendliness: Our large party included two 7 month old twins. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great atmosphere. Owners come around to check on you and the food is incredible. The taste is fantastic and the serving sizes huge. You will always go home with leftovers.

First the good. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We like the ambience, too. We find the restaurant to have some serious pricing issues. I had a 9-ounce glass of Chianti Ruffino. I know restaurants will always charge more than the liquor store, but at something like $16 (maybe $18) for my glass, I paid for that whole bottle on just my one glass. Not hard to figure out how they can manage 1/2 price wine bottles on Tuesday when they are putting in that kind of markup. And then the lasagna. Has anyone heard of unbaked lasagna? Dont you have to bake it just by nature? Well here, we were naive enough to say we wanted it baked, which meant a $7 upcharge for the baking with cheese. Ive bought blocks of cheese for less. I believe baked should be a given with lasagna. To me its like asking if youd like a bun with your burger and then charging extra for it. So all told, two glasses of wine - 1 6oz and a 9 oz, one pasta dish swimming in oil (and with the tomatoes I asked them to hold), one lasagna, one upcharge for lasagna to be baked, and we walked out having paid over $100.

Superb dishes, excellent flavour! I haven t had such excellent pasta since going to Greece. Will definitely make this a location for special family events

Unbelieveable! This food is out of this world. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, the staff are wonderful and the wine selection! To die for. I suggest getting a full bottle, they let you cork it when you leave. 5 STARS!!!! Id give 10 if i could, but 5 is as high as it goes! Will be back again! Mussel monday is where its at! Went to this place for wifes birthday celebration, amazing service , cozy ambiance and great food . I almost forgot they have the best pizza so far 9.5 out of 10. This place will definitely one of our top 5. More success to this little amazing Italian resto.

Sherwood Park treasure. Amazing food and service as always. Started with calamari that comes with a mint dip yum. Pesto Ali olio with chicken, linguine carbonara and Pollo Milanese were very tasty. Finished off with raspberry sorbet and Italian fritters. Great atmosphere.

Delicious food, awesome service, and a large menu. Very cute location for a date or get together. We had a Christmas party gathering here and the staff was accommodating, great with reservations, and quick!
