I came all the way from calgary with my family to try this place out ill never come back I paid 150$ for the worst service I came in with 3 kids and my wife and I the waiters were confused and messed up our orders it seems like they have no clue what they are doing and we asked for a few things we didnt get them!! Im very very disappointed!!! And u also mistreated other customers over a water bottle how sad!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mazati VIP, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that made for a perfect evening. I ordered the mixed grill dish, and it was nothing short of perfection. The assortment of meats was cooked to perfection, each bite more flavorful than the last. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. The sides complemented the main dish beautifully, making for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. To top off the evening, I enjoyed a session of shisha. The shisha was expertly prepared and had a smooth, rich flavor. It was clear that quality ingredients were used, and the attention to detail was evident in every puff. The staff was attentive and ensured that the coals were regularly changed, maintaining the shisha s excellent quality throughout. Overall, my experience at Mazati VIP was outstanding. The new area is amazing. The owners are kind and friendly. They have many workers who attend your needs all the time. The hookah was really good . The food was delicious especially the chicken sharwama sandwich. Pricing is a little expensive but it s totally worth it. Parking: It is in a plaza surrounded by other establishments so parking can be a hit or miss.

We walked in to filthy windows and an annoyed-looking man who, when he acknowledged us, motioned for us to sit. It was me and my sister and we both felt so uncomfortable that we left without even sitting down. We will definitely never return. Ew.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Service was decent, with occasional check-ins. However, the food and specialty drinks are overpriced and underwhelming. They also discourage using laptops/devices. Despite it being quiet, we were told we weren t allowed sit in a certain area (lounge by the windows) due to having a laptop. There was no other person sitting at that area. This policy seems excessive, especially during off-peak hours with few customers. On a busy Friday or Saturday night, I understand if devices aren t allowed but 2pm on a Wednesday isn t right. The experience was off-putting. Expect to spend over $65 per person on shisha, food, and drinks. Laptops should be more acceptable, especially when it s not busy.

Excellent service with high quality food

It was a very disappointing experience at a Mediterranean restaurant. When we arrived, nobody greeted us with a smile. We noticed some empty tables on the patio side and asked if we could sit there, but were told that they were all reserved. The hookah we ordered had many issues, so we ended up not using it. The service was very poor as the servers were not able to understand English. The worst part was when one of the servers told us that they did not receive the tips left by customers. Unfortunately, it was not worth spending our weekend there.

The service was incredibly slow. Seemed like we were ignored for a while. We asked for water. They didn t specify it was bottled water, and the water was warm! Do not recommend. Very unhappy with the service. Also the servers weren t that friendly.

Layer of shawrama pita was burnt, the service was little slow may be they just opened and not ready for few tables right away. Atmosphere and shisha was nice.

Today was the first time we went to Bleu Flame and it was amazing start to finish. Our server was Parvin and she was excellent. She was so kind and quick to help us with anything we needed. Definitely suggest this for anyone looking for a night out.

My husband and I came to Blue Flame for an early Valentines dinner. The food and service was excellent. Lovepreet our server was very nice and was a great server. The menu was a nice selection of items.

After my latest experience this weekend at Bleu Flames - I was very disappointed. To begin, it took an hour to get our first drink and over an hour before we got our meals ordered. We were a group of 8 and their tables do not accommodate this large of a group. Our party ended up being spread over 3 separate tables for enough table burners which was very disappointing. There was a set menu due to Valentines Day - but they did not allow for ANY meat substitutions. It was very expensive for not even getting everything that you want. Food was left on the plates due to the fact of not being able to substitute meat options. There was an automatic 18% gratuity for groups larger than 6 but our party wasn t even served as a group through the night. Since we needed 3 separate tables some tables were served before others which resulted in our group not even eating at the same time. Just a heads up for those thinking of going as a large group I wouldn t recommend it

Our server was very kind and the cocktails were fun. The food was nothing to write home about. I recommend warming the dipping sauces, dont know any situation that I would enjoy cold butter chicken sauce on freshly cooked meat. If fondue is your pull I would just go to the city. The price was WAY too much for the quality.

Im not sure how this restaurant is on regular occasions, but I wouldnt recommend it for special occasions. Basically, the food is good but the price is not worth it and the service is not good. Long story: I brought my partner here for Valentines and it was very expensive (even had to pay extra for candles) and unaccommodating. There were only two menu options that were basically the same, so I had called and emailed days prior to the reservation to see if we could get a different type of dessert. I was told this wouldnt be a problem, but then on the day that we were there, the waiter told us that it couldnt be done. He had zero interest in the fact that I had requested and been approved for a substitute (which I was told could be done due to allergies). The waiter also gave my date the bill, even though I made the reservation and paid for the extras before we came.

The food was good; it was not outstanding. The servers demeanor was awkward and forced; leaning right over our food while at our tiny table multiple times, which we didnt appreciate. He also spent entirely too much time at the end of the meal, explaining the importance of and included unsolicted steps on how to leave a Google review. He also spent too much time explaining why our gift card wouldnt work before they finally got it worked out. Finally, our experience at this restaurant was far different than that of our family who had purchased the gift card for us for Christmas. When they went, courses, such as the cheese one, were prepared for them at their table. They were asked if they wanted ingredients such as garlic added and so on. We ordered the identical courses, but ours was brought to the table done and plopped on the burner. We left feeling underwhelmed and unimpressed, which was disappointing given the price paid for our experience.

Very friendly staff and excellent service. Servers were attentive but left us to enjoy our dinner. We chose the 4 course dinner for 2. The food portions were generous and well worth the price. My only complaint is there were so many wonderful options it was difficult to chose! Dinner out took about 2 hours which made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The restaurant was extremely clean and the large booths were very private.

Came here years ago when the restaurant was new with my husband and we had horrendous service so we never returned. Decided to give them a second chance and came with a few friends for a birthday. The restaurant was completely dead on a Friday, which should have been our first clue. The food was okay, but super basic, no dips for the meat course, the salad was lettuce, dressing and cheese, the cheese fondu came with pear and apple and hardly any savoury foods, and then we were charged $18 for fruit for our chocolate course since one of the guests is celiac. They also had zero gluten free options or substitutions for any of the course. The meal ended up costing nearly $400 for 3 people for a plain old fondu dinner and one bottle of wine. Every time the waiter asked us for options (which were unclear and misleading on the menu), it was an added $10-$50 even though he never let us know that what he was pushing on us was an extra charge at the time. I have been to many amazing restaurants, some of the top in Edmonton, and dinner for 3 has never cost that much. It was mind blowing, and honestly indicative of why it is never busy. The service took a long time and we weren t even finished when they turned on the lights and loudly started cleaned around us. If you know your service is not fast enough, don t allow reservations past 7 pm. It is really too bad because Sherwood Park needs more well ran local restaurants, but unfortunately none of us will be returning to Bleu Flames.

We went here as a group of 6 for a mid week birthday dinner. Our reservation was for 545pm. The service was slow at the beginning. The waiter who was taking care of us got drink orders wrong and also forgot drinks as they were ordered, we then had to re order the drinks whenever the waiter would come by (which wasnt very often except for bringing us our fondue courses). The food was good and the portions were very good. At the end of dinner everyones bill was about 100 dollars (so 600 has a collective table). This is when the waiter told us that because we were a group of 6 there was a mandatory gratuity of 18% for everyone. Their service did not deserve this amount of tip in my opinion and adding this tip made everyones bill at the table above 110 dollars each. There was no statement anywhere for us to know beforehand that there was a mandatory tip.

Please take a moment to hear me out. This in no way is meant to hurt anyones feelings or smear this establishment for lack of a good reason. But these restaurants need to be held accountable if they choose to be in the food industry and charge these kind of outrageous prices for below average sub-par food. This is the god honest truth and I felt compelled to share my experience since the price paid didnt sit well with me. The front entry way was nice, intriguing, dark and slightly moody. I had high expectations going into this place considering the occassion. Heres a tip, if your over 6 feet tall, and they try seat you at the 2 person table/booth you will be very uncomfortable, I would be surprised if it was built to any code. Really that was when things started to spiral out of control for me. The table was too small, barely enough room for drinks let alone a flat top burner. the booth would be better for kids or smaller people. We started out with one of the infused cheese fondues which in all honesty was good but it was paired with plain apple slices, stale bread, one raw mushroom sliced and a few grapes.... I was really confused by the lack of creativity and/or someone that preps the food taking these ingredients to another level of some kind. Dipping raw mushrooms into cheese isnt special, Apple slices..? They completely missed the mark here, if I wanted apple slices and grapes at an expensive restaurant clearly a reasonable person would think they would elevate this in some way, but they failed to do that. This kind of preparation was laughable but considering the occasion it was quite sad to see and unpleasant to experience truthfully. Next was the hot pot, a flavored wine broth I believe. Lets call it what it really tasted like... Boiled flavorlous meat. Nothing resembled a delicate flavorful broth that enhanced the chicken, beef and shrimp proteins in any way. Boiled meat is what it is but youll never hear anyone say it. Last and certainly the best tasting thing on the menu, was Marshmellows dipped in hot chocolate sauce. This one reminded me of the big bags of marshmallows you buy for a couple dollars when camping. There it is folks, over $300 dollars on your anniversary not including a tip for something I could have prepared, and executed better at home for maybe $50. I would never come back here nor recommend this restaurant to anyone that has an appreciation for quality food at a restaurant. Amen

It is so nice to have a local fondue restaurant for special occasions. Would recommend for any milestone events or big get togethers. The fondue pacing is great for chatting and catching up. Food variety is great, service is awesome and is a beautiful location.

No high chairs available at this location so we couldnt stay because of our 1 year old. Eating at a restaurant without a high chair is impossible. I get that this isnt a kids restaurant but being able to accommodate children is basic. I feel bad for the wait staff because they lost business with 4 adults on a slow night. We were very disappointed about this and had made reservations for a special night out for my partners birthday. He was very excited to go because we havent been out much this last year. The irony of all this is that we heard about this place because one of the co-owners attends our family story time with her toddler. The wait staff was really nice which is why I gave an extra star. The only good thing about this place was the service. The whole fondue thing didnt happen due to the overall cost being too high for the small amount of food you would receive. I had the pho it was bad. The price was all right, but the flavor was very bland. The cheese fondue was broken and felt very, mealy in my mouth. The chicken on the pho was way over done very dry. The wild mushroom soup was very salty, and my aunts steak was overcooked. Wont go back.

Honestly, not worth it, kind server but very very bad food for $550 worth. Such small portions too, the melting pot is definitely what you need to drive go to instead. So expensive for mediocre food and small portions. I don t see this establishment lasting too long .. avoid.

The moment we stepped into the restaurant, we encountered poor service. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we waited at the entrance for at least 10 minutes without any assistance while staff members in the back observed us but failed to approach. Eventually, when we were seated, they placed us right next to the ONLY other occupied table in the restaurant. While I understand the need for close seating when the place is full, it would have been appreciated to have some spacing in an empty restaurant. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and we made it abundantly clear to our server that our selected options must be gluten-free. However, I had to repeatedly remind him as he consistently brought dishes containing gluten. I empathize with the server, recognizing that he seemed inexperienced, but given the high price point, we expected excellent service. I have encountered better service at fast food establishments.

First off, the food was amazing. Tons of options for cheese, meat and chocolate. Everything tasted fresh, the fruit was delicious and the homemade sauces were incredible. Our server Akshay was funny and provided amazing service. We felt well taken care of for our entire meal and will definitely be returning!

My 11 year old wanted to treat us to a family anniversary dinner. He wanted to pay (we snuck money into his wallet) and insisted on Bleu Flame. We had never tried fondue before. It turned out to be an amazing experience. Our server Aran was exceptional. He explained everything very well from the menu to the flavour combinations and answered all our newbie questions. I would absolutely recommend. Atmosphere is classy yet comfortable.

Everything took way to long, getting the food , ordering even waiting for coals . The food was ok but really small portions. I had a beef donair that was mostly pita but for what little meat i did have it was good. Place seemed a little rushed to open with the old hot pot menus and hot pot set ups in all the tables . I would go again in the future hopefully they can make it there own place and a band-aid hot pot restaurant.
