We are never disappointed after eating authentic, delicious Mexican food at Mexico Lindo! Reasonably priced and great hospitality and service!

Mexico Lindo is our go to when we plan a dinner out. The staff here are phenomenal, service is incredibly fast and the food is amazing! We always look forward to Mexico Lindo!

Id rate this my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Edmonton & Area. Great vibes, Mexican family owned, great service. Guacamole is so tasty, the shrimp and beef tacos were so good. Make sure to support this place you dont be disappointed

Great food! I dont have a good sense of whats authentic Mexican food, but this is probably it! The chips in their chips and salsa feel like theyre homemade, rather than taken from a bag.

Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian options in the menu and you can also modify dishes to remove items if needed. The staff is really polite and helpful and they also have live entertainment as well. Kid-friendliness: People of all ages seem to have a nice experience and there were plenty of guests with children here.

I wouldnt say Im the best judge on what authentic mexican food is like but seemed good to me. Nachos seemed to be home made. There was a hispanic table celebrating a birthday next to us so would guess they thought it was at least close to authentic to have it there (had a guy come out with a guitar and traditional costume as well). If Im in sherwood park I would generally aim to come here again.

The service was excellent. We ordered the cecina steak and alambre, Mexico Lindo. The cecina steak was great, but the alambre could have been better if you added rice and beans.

I dont know how this place has over 4 stars. The food was mid. Nothing was seasoned, the meat was hella dry. The service was probably the worst Ive ever had. Spent 2 hours there and ended up leaving and going somewhere else. If your gonna charge so much for alcohol maybe get better servers. Sat for 30 minutes before we could even order drinks. You guys dont even have alot of tables. Just sad. I havent tipped in less then 5 places in my life. This was one of them. 200$ table tab and zero tip, because your service is literally garbage. I wouldnt even return here if it was free. Eventually this location will be just another pho place.

So unfortunate- this restaurants food has been said to be amazing. However their service, specifically their hostess is absolutely terrible. We were blatantly ignored, and when trying to get the hostesses attention, she made eye contact and proceeded on, again- blatantly ignoring us. We stood waiting with a baby for a handful of minutes before leaving. We had tried to contact the manager and/ or owner directly- unfortunately our phone call was not returned. Just on our most recent experience alone, we won t be returning. BUT if you re in the area and want some amazing food AND spectacular service, La Patrona is spectacular.

Where is the flavor? All I see on here is 5 stars. Not sure what happened to our tacos but they are without a doubt the worst tacos we have ever had in our entire lives. The pork tacos were spat out into the garbage can. The brisket was dry and looked like they were from last night. Shameful excuse for authentic tacos. As you can tell, I m disappointed!

Clean and tidy! Had tacos, churros, flautas de papa, and a desert corn sweet bread with a huge fancy glass of horchata. Absolutely delicious although the portions are a little on the small side. Not your cliche mexican restaurant where your plate is also flooded with refried beans, rice and more. That being said, everything had a lot of flavor and the ambience was fun!

I found this place a couple of years ago and loved it! The food is incredibly good and the service and ambience makes for an enjoyable experience that has us talking about it for days after. We find it s a fair trade of our money for the food and service we get. When we come to Edmonton, we always make a stop here. It s worth moving to Sherwood Park to have it more often!!

The salad to go was delicious, but it needed a bit more mango and corn if not the rest tasted delicious.

Great food! I have the enchiladas and they were delicious. My friend had the tacos and definitely need to order a side with it.

The food is flavorful and fresh! Portions are reasonable for the price. Went with my hubby and 2 kids and spent about $70 including tip.

Food was great. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed.

We had the molcajetes last night. What a joke. The seafood one, for $90, comes out without lobster and scallops. No acknowledgment, just dropped it off. When we asked, the waiter said they ran out of both, didn t bother to ask if we still wanted it or something else instead. Said they gave us extra fish fillet instead of the two lobster tails it was supposed to come with. Wouldn t go back.

Ordered the Enchaladas Mole (a sauce with chocolate) and a Mojito. Oh man it was good. Best Mole I ever had. Mojito was strong but well balanced made me question if it was a good idea to have one at lunch time haha.

The food was great, the staff provides exceptional service. I will be fair and give what is due to the efforts/investment of this business. Special mention to my server Diana, a valuable asset to this business. Now that s established; My first experience was made uncomfortable by a large table of obnoxious customers near where I sat. My observation recorded how unruly and unpleasant they were to Diana. They were outrageously loud during conversation, frequent loud outburst of laughter overpowering the entire audience, amounting to behaviour that any other establishment would intervene. However, not for a minute did I notice anyone from management approached these customers to have brought some order or ease in the interest of other patrons at the restaurant. Their actions prompted some anger that I had to box and take away my meal. It was also painful yet concerning to be made aware that the folks were friends of the owner. A revelation confirming the inappropriate behaviour of these folks. Dear Entrepreneur Your friends were not solely patrons of your business and their exhibition did not do well for other customers and your business. The numbers at the table surely reflected and suggest that they are unable to secure the viability and sustainability of your restaurant. Friends should help build, not destroy. They should have you in full consideration ensuring and helping you thrive. They should ALWAYS have you back positively. Therefore, I urge you to set boundaries for friends with such arrogance, or make sure they fall within the confines, standards and expectations of any other customer. Their behaviour brought about major discomfort to other patrons leaving a bitter impression. Pay close attention to tables near them as your place is under surveillance. See it for yourself. Some persons may NEVER tell you and invest in bad word of mouth about your business, all because of your friends and you REFUSING to call on them to tone it down. Take NOTE!!! First time potential customers could have been lost due to your LOYAL friends and their lack of etiquette

Order Guacamole, Tacos, and an Enchilada. It all tasted amazing! Piña Colada was also very good! Great prices and I was stuffed by the end of it!

Good Mexican food is a rare thing to find, but what is special is to find AMAZING Mexican food and Lindo is it. Great selection of menu items and generous delicious portions for margaritas. The service was exceptional, warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I arrived at 8:50 on Friday night. The restaurant and what looked to be a bar type area were full of customers. I was told there were closed. Google shows 10pm and even it was 9pm I was still within time. I walked there from the local Holiday Inn. Needless to say I guess this place isn t very authentic because back home in Texas the Mexican restaurants definitely would have seated me.

The staff is kinda rude and refuse to seat you for no reason sometimes. This has happened to us twice where we went in and there are penalty of empty tables but we are told they are not seating anyone right now and provide no reason and walk away. But we have ordered takeout before. The food is FANTASTIC every single time.

Had the shrimp tacos, they were delicious. As an added bonus, it was taco Tuesday, so I got an extra taco. Highly recommend this place. Definitely one of the best places in the surrounding area for authentic Mexican cuisine.

First of all it, take them 45 minutes to give me a plate of the tacos, and then when the tacos came to my table, they were already soggy and had no taste the beef is tasteless and I had for the appetiser the three cheese quesadilla and the same thing, it had no taste This Restaurant is no. One of our favorite places in Sherwood Park- we Love the food - but if you have a skip gift card - no Taco Tues for you!! We used our gift card ( which was a gift) and picked up our meal ( skip does not come to the country ) and because we used the gift card no taco Tuesday :( Disappointed that they discriminate via your method of payment. You can and should honor all methods of payment. Taco Tuesday is Taco Tuesday.

Fantastic atmosphere with some live music Sunday night. Food was fast and fresh and so much. Fed both my wife and I with enough for two lunches on Monday. I wasn t quite sure what to do with a big bowl of meat but we got by LOL. I would probably just go with tacos next time only because of that but food tasted great!

If youre tired of going for mexican food in places that care more about the decorations than their menu, then youve found the right place. Lots of options for food and drinks paired with a welcoming and attentive group of servers and a vibe that made me feel I was back home. Hard to say which salsa was better between red and green, so definitely try both, especially the red + pastor combination. About $80 for two people but that was with appetizers and four drinks. I visited the place frequently and the food is very good. On my last visit the service was slow and the waitress showed a look of displeasure every time something was asked of her and she still had the nerve to complain about the tip, leaving me as a customer a very unpleasant experience. Im not coming back to this place!

The most authentic Mexican food I ve ever tasted, and it was delicious! When inside the restaurant it actually feels like you are in Mexico ! The only negative was that the service was very slow on the specific night I was there. That said, I ll definitely be back!

First time coming here. I have never gone to an authentic restaurant. I was NOT disappointed. The food was great. I felt the portions were very large and filling. My server was very kind and quick. There was a large selection of authentic drinks and food. The restaurant has a real Mexican feel to it with authentic looking decor.

The place was absolutely amazing! 5 Stars from all aspects! We did not reserve a table, (but probably should have)managed to get one after a short 10 min wait. Highly recommend reserving in advance for next time as its packed with people all the time.

Recently visited, it was average. I had a Caesar, had one sip, was a weird flavor. I told the waiter I didn t like it and it was still added to my bill. Once I explained that I didn t drink it, they removed it, but the staff member didn t look pleased. Won t be going back.

If you cant go to Mexico, come here. Their menu offers a wide array of drinks, appetizers, and meals to choose from. While I found the Chicken Enchiladas to be quite dry, the Molcajete was delicious and generously portioned, suitable for 2-3 servings. The restaurant itself is spacious and can accommodate a large number of people. Parking: Lots of free parking

The guacamole had no flavor - it needed more salt and citrus. Also there were whole slices of avocados inside which were too hard to mash. Little flavor to my meat cubes and very hard to chew them. I do not recommend.

It was my first time coming here a few days ago after a long morning and I loved it. The tostadas were delicious! The place was nicely decorated and playing Hispanic music that I remember listening to when I was younger. Even though I was just there for a quick bite, I felt like I was home the entire time

I ordered an arrachera steak (cooked medium), the meat was little tough, good taste, i enjoy the guacamole. Almost at the end of my meal, i asked for a slice of lemon. Waitress never ask me for a dessert. When i received the bill, they charged 2.25 for lemon. Waitress never tell me its an extra (let me decide if accept or not), the manager or owner said nothing is free Wow, i never expected to hear thah, finally they removed from my bill. I dont know if be back, quality meal is good. Was not nice experience!!

My Husband and I stop here anytime we come through Edmonton area, we live about 2 hours away. We love the food, the staff and the environment. Last time we were there the server took our boys into the back to help get our water, she got showered with hugs from the kids. We look forward to every time we get to come to Sherwood Park for Mexico Lindo. Kid-friendliness: They make my kids feel welcome.

Love this please, authentic to its core. Excellent service, family run feel - but they are doing it right. The food is amazing and actually MEXICAN not.

Am tired of your hostess! The girl with the glasses has the worst attitude I ve ever seen at a restaurant. Every time my family and I visit we are greeted with her scowl like she s doing us a favor by seating us. We always have issues with our reservations with her but this past weekend I just had enough. I walked in to pickup a takeout order and asked the girl at the bar, she then asked the hostess with the glasses who just shrugged and rolled her eyes at us. I tried to pay but the tap wasn t working and again the hostess did nothing but stare and roll her eyes. She did not offer to help or say a word, just watched as I struggled with the machine. I finally had to ask her if I was doing something wrong and get this, she says the tap doesn t work on debit! Would have been nice of her to say something sooner! She got so impatient like it was my fault their tap doesn t work. Just awful service from her and frankly I m debating ever going back just because she makes it such a hassle, shame because the food is delicious.

We have visited this establishment numerous times as the food is always delicious with generous portions. I cannot give enough praise to the kitchen staff. The service on the other hand is always slow. It always feels as though we are forgotten about. We always have to flag down a server to order, for drink refills, desert and once we finish our meals the dirty plates seem to sit on the table forever. But we keep going back for the food! A party in your mouth! This beautiful place was hopping on a Thursday night, our service was slow (because they were busy), but we didnt mind at all because our waitress was super. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. This gem of a place is now my favorite. A must go for authentic Mexican food with fantastic drinks..seriously.

Amazing food! The tap wasnt working, and I only had my e-wallet on my phone...I was treating me aunty to lunch and was horrified Id have to ask her to pay, so they let me send them an Etransfer! Best customer service!

We went with the whole family and the food was amazing. Horchata is a must. We ordered a bunch of tacos, enchiladas and nachos. Everything was delicious. We had to also order the churros which came with ice cream! We all left very satisfied and happy!

Good food and drinks. HORRIBLE service!! The servers are incredibly rude. Took over 15 minutes after being seated by another rude server for another to come take our orders. Never offered water the whole time we were there, and when we did ask, she forgot it twice while walking past us. Mind you, the restaurant had about 6 tables and numerous servers, and she was working ours and anothers so I don t see why it took so long. No friendly greetings or welcomes at all, the women who sit at the front and are not in work clothes are all clearly family or family friends which is no problem but nobody is friendly to the customers. Every time we had asked for basic things like our drinks, napkins, water, extra sauces, because she kept forgetting, she would give us a dirty look while putting it on our table. Please please, improve your customer service, it was delicious food but unfortunately we will not be returning because of the service. No one was friendly at all or had talked to us at all until we had to get their attention. Seems like they pick and choose who they feel like serving and when to serve. Btw it was a girl with lighter highlights in her hair. Maybe you can give her a lesson on how to be a good server. With this service you will definitely lose customers and no one will come back and they will spread the word. So hopefully you fix the problem. Not a good atmosphere at all.
