Always our first choice when we go to the city. The bacon blue burger with fries and gravy is always my go to meal but all the food we have had there is great. They have many beers on tap and a good selection of Irish, Scottish, and English beers

Visited on Friday evening for the first time with 5 friends and was blown away. Great prices, fresh food and our server was fantastic. It really does feel like your local neighbourhood pub. Singer was very talented too. Will definitely be going again.

I visited Oscars last Friday with friends. Local pub feel, wonderful ambience and friendly staff. My only regret involved the IPA beer I ordered, more specifically that I didnt note the name of it, as it was quite tasty.

Its the atmosphere, like youre on a movie...fantastic pub food too.

Food was good, service very friendly, they have dart boards and fun stuff to do. Only complaint would be the parking lot sucks. Not many stalls and its cramped.

Fun place for the group gathering we had for a surprise birthday party!

After driving by so many times we decided to give them a try. Great food, warm atmosphere, great prices. The cherry on top was our incredible server, Mickey. The service she gives is top notch and (unfortunately) not something you find a lot of these days. Wed go back just for that alone. So if youre looking for your local watering hole this should be it! Oh, live music Fridays and Saturdays as well!

The Guinness Stew & fish. & chips were great along with a glass of Kilkenny .but then, you must try the chocolate cake with warm caramel sauce! Wow!!

We were only one of two tables, yet we were left for over 20 minutes without service while the server chatted to the other table. We left after having one drink and with no food, even though we went there for dinner. As frequent clients we were very surprised as previous visits were good. This was yesterday, Tuesday at 4 oclock for your hot dig special.

Went there by chance today Saturday 1.00 pm opening time, going down memory lane, very many years ago it was late husbands favourite pub for his Tenants Lager and food. Very clean. Served by a genuinely pleasant gentleman with a great grilled real cheese with sauteed onion sandwich, handcut chips with homemade gravy and fresh coffee. Will be going back for sure. Made my day!!! We cane from the US, WA specifically. Been here for the week and havent been able to find a bar like we frequent at home until now. Owner (Im guessing?) was amazing, checked in with us often, gave us perfect food (honestly even better than our home bar ). Real meat, real good food, and good service. Solid stop if you re looking for a proper pub! Walk in these doors and you re transported to a small town in the UK where the weather doesn t matter, and it s about friends, pints and darts. Dean and his team run a tight ship (ask for The Mick to serve ya if you can!!) The food here is excellent too - great chicken wings and a really tasty burger, along with more adventurous pub fare if you re feeling it. If you re looking for a very authentic UK Pub experience in your own backyard - this is definitely it.

Absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end. The owner Dean was very welcoming! Food was very tasty. Shay was hands down one of the best servers I have had in all my life. First time here, I ve heard lots of positive feedback so we decided to try it out. Trent set up an open mic so the atmosphere was great. As others have said it s like you ve gone to a small town UK pub. The first thing I noticed was no loud music but sports playing and a friendly single staff member tending to the patrons. He was very friendly and made us feel like we were regulars. We will be back! I didn t get the front end staff members name but he was great!

This place is awesome!

My husband and I were going out for a date night and after seeing the great reviews on Oscars we decided to give it a try. Received a warm welcome when we got there, but after that we had an issue with service and decided to leave. As we were walking out the person who had greeted us asked why we were leaving and after we explained he asked us to stay and give them another chance. I am so glad we did! The food was amazing. We started with the mozza sticks and then we both had the steak sandwiches. I cant remember the last time I had my steak cooked to the exact temperature I asked for. I have absolutely no complaints about the food, everything we ate was exceptional. After the initial bump in our visit, I have to say that the employees are very nice, helpful and make you feel that you actually matter to them. We will definitely go back!

I stopped in for lunch on Wednesday, and everything was awesome! My server (Mickey - hope I spelled that correctly) was informative, friendly and professional. You could see she was passionate about her job and interacting with everyone in the room. And then the food! The homemade gravy, the fish and chips, and the potato skins were all just awesome (clearly, cause I was dining alone and yet I cleaned each plate despite originally thinking I d take some home). I ll definitely be back. This was a great experience and is great for anyone looking for that neighbourhood pub you don t really see as often anymore!

This is a place I really enjoy. It has a great pub atmosphere, the owner and employees are all friendly and personable. They always have things going on like music bingo, trivia night, darts or you can even pick from a selection of board games to play. Also a great scotch selection! Great people and great food.

My wife and I has a mixed visit last night. Really enjoyed the music, it was a bit loud for the small area and number of people there but Todd is very good. There was only one song I couldnt identify. The food was not as good as I hoped. The potato skins were cold and an odd number on the plate. Ive never seen that before. Usually, there is an even number. They were good but would have been better warm. I ordered a steak sandwich. The steak was done medium as asked. The problem was the steak was a little tough, compounded with the lack of a steak knife, was an issue. I also had to season it with salt. The fries were great. Nice to have malt vinegar. Ordinarily, I would have sent the steak back. I didnt because a member of our party had created a scene and gotten herself kicked out. I feel that the working manager tried her best to deal with the situation. My wife and I were embarrassed with our friends behavior. Im not sure if the manager could have calmed the situation down, our friend was certainly not helping. The manager could benefit from additional training dealing with problem customers. I do hope that the manager doesnt get punished for the way she handle a bad situation. She just needs more coaching and experience. First time visiting this local pub. Had a great experience! There were 7 of us that came in for some food and a beer. The beer was cold and poured properly: The food came out hot in a timely matter. We do not usually go out to the same place twice: This one we will!

I used to come with my dad here all the time before corona, and I really enjoy the food, everyone is really nice and easygoing there.

Haven t been there in a long time. Went to Oscars Pub this evening and brought my 13yr old and my mom. We really enjoyed the food, and looooved the French fries. The service was excellent. My son ordered Poutine and as he said wow, in Poutine heaven . I tried it also, and it was good. Will be back.

Went for afternoon appys and a glass of wine on the patio. Its not a fancy place but its comfortable place. Parking is limited but there is street parking. Staff were very attentive really enjoyed ourselves

After frequenting Oscars for many years and being one of the last possible people to go to their pub/restaurant for my sons 18th Birthday before the last covid shutdowns, I was absolutely stunned last night when I stopped in to see someone from the local darts league and was asked by a shorter man(Owner? Manager? Bartender?) to see my papers/proof of vaccinations and when I was un-able to produce them while still complying to the face mask rule, I was told Then leave....youre Infecting everyone. If there was a lower rating I would have chose it. You have lost a customer for life. Even if I have to play darts there in the future you can be sure I will not purchase a thing from you. Bad Form Oscars......bad form.

Theres not many places you can find where you can go for GREAT food and feel like youre at your best friends house. Oscars is an underrated treasure of the greater Edmonton area. Dean and the crew put everything they have into creating a third place for all of us regular people and make you feel valued and cared for the minute you walk into the door. Nothing pretentious or fancy about this place, but you can be assured that the food is great and the staff will care about your time here.

Food was excellent. Service was great Prices were reasonable, if not inexpensive. Could use some updating inside, but overall great experience. Kids welcome until 9PM; my 9 year loved it. Will definitely be back.

All and all, things were good. There was only one server working on a Saturday night shift, so the service was little slower than expected . There was an amazing musician playing an acoustic set. Loved the live music. The pub was quiet cold; not sure If the heat was set low or of was just the cold weather and a breeze from the door. Food was good. Beverage prices were quiet reasonable. Had a good time.

Food was great, inexpensive and unpresuming. Food came on paper plates and had a kid friendly menu. We brought our kids for dinner. About $60 bucks for a family of four. A fantastic little find. Oh, and nachos are a 6 star rating.

That atmosphere was cozy and our server was super friendly! Our Appies were good, my burger was bland, it was a generic frozen patty. Great place for drinks and socializing but the food was typical generic bar style food, and high prices for what it is.

The wife and I stayed in Edmonton the other weekend. We had a great food experience at one place and decide to head out in search of some darts, and drinks. A good pub for darts can be hard to find. After Google failed us on a few attempts we decided to give it one more swing for the fences. And boy did we hit a homerun! The owner and his staff were absolutely top shelf. When it comes to friendly personnel service you cant find any better. They set us up with a dart board and treated us like we had been comming there for years. Dean and Ciaus we thank you for a great time. We will be back and I absolutely recommend if you are looking for a sweet spot to drink eat and play darts. Go see these fine gentleman..

Went for dinner and sat by the fireplace, was great night. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and homemade gravy as well as their homemade flaming hot sauce. I have no complaints was all so good. Dean gave us some of the best service Ive had in the park since we moved here. I will be back for sure.

Oscars Pub was recommended to us by friends we were in town to visit, who are very health-conscious. Our group of two adults and two tweens each ordered a different dish for lunch and were extremely impressed with the speed, quality and flavour. The potato and sweet-potato fries were flying across the table in a youve-got-to-taste-this frenzy. For pub fare, it was not at all greasy--yet still perfectly scrumptious! Our server was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and did not give up on me when I kept insisting my Teriyaki Chicken Burger did not need sauce (mayo), having to check back with me three times before I realized my error and that I did indeed want some Teriyaki with my Teriyaki Burger. Our table was offered a few sweet treats at the end of our meal which made our lunch extra special. The menu was well-priced too. All-in-all, a five star experience...and now we have two reasons to return to Sherwood Park!
